Islamic State & Muslim Brotherhood

An Islamic state is a type of government, in which the primary basis for government is Islamic religious law. The Society of the Muslim Brothers (/ikhwan/el-ekhwan al-muslimūn, often simply The Brotherhood or MB ) is the world's most influential and one of the largest Islamist movements, and is the largest political opposition organization in many Arab states. 5.0/5

The following is the official document from a 1991 meeting which outlines the Muslim Brotherhood's strategic goals for North America. The document was entered as evidence in the 2008 Holyland Terror Funding Trial. Federal investigators found the document in the home of Ismael Elbarasse, a founder of the Dar Al-Hijrah mosque in Falls Church, Virginia, during a 2004 search. Elbarasse was a member of the Palestine Committee, which the Muslim Brotherhood had created to support Hamas in the United States. The original document in Arabic follows the English translation. We have highlighted in yellow the following quotes which are of particular significance. The page numbers noted below correspond to the page numbers in the center of the bottom of each page in the document). "4- Understanding the role of the Muslim Brother in North America: The process of settlement is a "Civilization-Jihadist Process" with all the word means. The Ikhwan must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and "sabotaging" its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions. Without this level of understanding, we are not up to this challenge and have not prepared ourselves for Jihad yet. It is a Muslim's destiny to perform Jihad and work wherever he is and wherever he lands until the final hour comes, and there is no escape from that destiny except for those who chose to slack. But, would the slackers and the Mujahedeen be equal." ~excerpt from Muslim Brotherhood document entitled "An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America" dated May 22, 1991. OBAMA'S TEMPER TANTRUM AT TOP U.S. MILITARY BRASS In a fit of rage, Obama snaps at U.S.military brass: “Don’t you dare try and paint all of Islam with the same brush. Showing his Muslim stripes, Obama threw a hissy fit and stomped out of a Pentagon meeting about the bombing campaign against ISIS over remarks allegedly tying the Islamic State (ISIS) to Islam. His tantrum reportedly took place in the afternoon of last week just prior to the president’s departure to Camp David. It was an informal briefing on the expanded bombing campaigns to take place in both Syria and Iraq. Halfway through the already very brief briefing, President Obama stood up clearly agitated, and walked out of the room. The casually dressed Obama returned to the briefing moments later with a senior adviser alongside him, though his mood continued to indicate he was still very upset. The senior adviser made a couple pointed remarks to the Pentagon representatives reminding them the president had already had a very busy day, and t ...
just when one starts thinking they've heard enough ... then come this EU Gives Hamas Green Light To Attack Israel extract by Khaled Abu Toameh • December 22, 2014 The EU court's decision represents a "severe blow to the Palestinian Authority and Egypt," according to Palestinian political analyst Raed Abu Dayer. Any victory for Hamas, albeit a small and symbolic one, is a victory for the Islamic State, Al-Qaeda, Islamic Jihad, the Muslim Brotherhood and other fundamentalist groups, and causes tremendous damage to those Muslims who are opposed to radical Islam. Hours before the EU court's decision was made public, Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar announced that his movement would never recognize Israel, and that Hamas seeks to overthrow the Palestinian Authority and seize control of the West Bank. The EU court's decision also coincided with a rapprochement between Hamas and Iran. Now, the Iranians and other countries, such as Turkey and Qatar, are likely to interpret the EU court's decision as a green light t . ...

MUSLIM PRESIDENT AND MUSLIM-SYMPATHETIC DOJ STRIKE OUT AGAINST STATES' RIGHTS ONCE AGAIN: Obama DOJ forces US City to pay Muslims $7.75 million Posted on December 10, 2014 by Pamela Geller — 0 Comments A proposed mega-mosque in the pretty little town of Bridgewater, New Jersey, was rejected by the town council last year, “citing an ordinance that limited houses of worship to major roads.” Reasonable enough. Municipal officials argued that the purpose of the ordinance was to “preserve the residential character of its various neighborhoods.” But Islamic supremacists and Muslim Brotherhood organizations like CAIR called upon their lapdogs at the Department of Justice, who sued Bridgewater. The DoJ has become the de facto legal arm of terror-tied Muslim Brotherhood groups in this country. What small town can go up against the U.S. government’s vast resources and endless taxpayer-funded muscle? It speaks volumes about the three pillars (more like clubs) of the Islamization of the West – “interf ...

Say it ain't so! Islamic State leader is a former Muslim Brotherhood member
Jimmy Carter, former President of the United States, recently spoke at the national convention of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), where he encouraged his listeners to donate to ISNA and to use the "principles of Allah" to bring justice to oppressed people. Of course, ISNA has ties to both the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas, so we can only wonder where the funds will go. And since Muhammad commanded his followers to oppress women and non-muslims, it isn't clear how the "principles of Allah" will help anyone except groups like the Islamic State.
Just spoke in the councel of Europe about Neo Nazism. My speech: The report shows that there is great concern about the emergence of neo-nazism, which poses a problem to the whole of Europe. My party shares this concern. The swastika that sympathisers of the Islamic State carried with them in a demonstration in the streets in The Hague, not far from the Houses of Parliament, was confronting. It was equally confronting that the demonstrators threatened a female journalist to rip off her clothes. The report makes mention of various groups that fall within the category of neo-nazism, but ignores the cooperation between Islam and Nazi Germany. This cooperation was initiated by al-Husaini, the Mufti of Jerusalem and leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in the past. Al-Husaini was an admirer of Hitler. Both men shared a common goal: the annihilation of the Jewish people. Al-Husaini opposed to the emigration of Jews to modern-day Israel, which was discontinued, partly by his doing. He encouraged Hitler in the total ...
President Barack Obama favorably quoted and praised on Wednesday in his speech before the United Nations a controversial Muslim cleric whose organization has reportedly endorsed the terror group Hamas and supported a fatwa condoning the murder of U.S. soldiers in Iraq. Obama in his remarks offered praise to controversial cleric Sheikh Abdallah Bin Bayyah and referred to him as a moderate Muslim leader who can help combat the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant’s (ISIL or ISIS) radical ideology. However, Bin Bayyah himself has long been engulfed in controversy for many of his views, including the reported backing of a 2004 fatwa that advocated violent resistance against Americans fighting in Iraq. This is not the first time that the Obama administration has extoled Bin Bayyah, who also has served as the vice president of a Muslim scholars group founded by a radical Muslim Brotherhood leader who has called “for the death of Jews and Americans,” according to Fox News and other reports. The State Depar ...
Dear Muslim Parent, SALAAMS! You cannot but be aware that these are troubling times for the ummah¯in India, across the globe, and especially in Muslim majority countries. What does Islam teach, what do Muslims want? That is the question the world seems to be asking. You could of course take the view, as many do, that the question itself reeks of prejudice against Muslims and their faith. So nothing further needs to be said. Or, you could begin by acknowledging that, as lived faith, there are many Islams. And that some of them present a very ugly picture of their faith. What does the Gita teach? It depends on whether it is Mahatma Gandhi or Nathuram Godse addressing the question. So is the case with the Quran. It depends on whether you listen to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad or Osama bin Laden. So, do not get defensive. Four young Muslim men from Kalyan, near Mumbai, fly off to Syria to join the jihad launched by the Islamic State. It is headed by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, a man who proclaims himself caliph, direct ...

Debunking the myths about the extremists’ rise. - Greg Sheridan, The Australian, September 24th, 2014. As the bombing of Islamic State forces in Syria begins, the Abbott government has left open the possibility of future actions by Australia in Syria. Given every invitation to rule it out, Tony Abbott refuses to do so. My guess is that Australian action in Syria is more likely to take place than not, over time. In the meantime, the Australian debate is bedevilled by three truly ludicrous myths peddled variously and in different combinations, by Greens, lefties, professional anti-Americans, and that great undifferentiated and largely uninformed cadre of general commentators on everything who figure so ubiquitously, and so repetitively, on the ABC. The myths are: 1/. That the rise of Islamic State in Iraq is a consequence of the 2003 US-led invasion of Iraq; 2/. That recent US counter-terrorist activities and aggressive actions in the Middle East have spurred the terrorist threat on; and 3/. That Israel r ...
President Obama's notion that the Islamic State is "not Islamic" and that "no religion condones killing" doesn't square with the army of Muslims that IS/ISIS/ISIL is attracting. The CIA figures that as many as 31,500 Muslims from many parts of the world have joined it. Clearly, something is motivating all these Muslims, yet Obama insists it's not their faith. The truth is, IS practices are firmly rooted in Islamic scripture and sanctioned by Islam's most influential scholars. Muslims have the religious responsibility to kill non-Muslims in the name of Allah. This is why Muslim leaders openly call Muslims to jihad against non-Muslims. Almost every major Islamic charity in America was shut down after 9/11 for funding jihadist groups, and even now banks are closing the accounts of hundreds of Muslims across the country for suspicious activity. Virtually every U.S. Muslim organization is controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood, which believes "jihad is our way and death for the glory of Allah is our greatest amb ...
NO SUCH THING AS = "Moderate islam" ~~~ When you are dealing with an administration whose officials look you in the eye and tell you the Muslim Brotherhood is a “largely secular” organization, it’s tempting to laugh off the idiocy spouted by President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry about how the Islamic State has nothing to do with Islam. We should resist the temptation, though, because there is a dangerous purpose behind the laughable assertion. Obviously, Bing West and Daniel Pipes are correct that the terrorist group is entirely Islamic. As I’ve been arguing here more times and for more years than I care to remember, what we presume to call “radical Islam” (a/k/a Islamic supremacism, Islamic extremism, political Islam, Islamism, and whatever other “Islam [fill in the caveat]” terms we devise to avoid considering whether Islam itself inevitably breeds terrorism) is not very radical among the world’s Muslims. There are pacific constructions of Islam, too, but it is silly not to ...
IMPORTANT: Syria's Muslim Brotherhood reject the international coalition against the Islamic State (Isis)
Obama and the Arab Spring - White House will continue Arab Spring In Islamic State - Bill Wilson The occupant of the Oval Office will announce on the eve of the 9/11 anniversary limited military action against the Islamic State. The Washington Post reports that the Administration has been working on building political support for its newly crafted strategy in dealing with the Islamic State. An indicator of the strategy comes after the "president" met with congressional leaders in a statement released by the office of House Speaker John Boehner, saying, "The Speaker stated he would support the President if he chose to deploy the military to help train and play an advisory role for the Iraqi Security Forces and assist with lethal targeting of ISIL leadership." It will sound a lot like Libya and Arab Spring. Americans should remember Libya, where the "president" ignored Congress, supplied Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood with American tax dollars, weapons, advisors and the full complement of military air ...
Carol J. Williams, Paul Richter, Laura King 6:23 p.m. The coalition taking shape as Secretary of State John F. Kerry launched a recruitment drive Thursday among Middle Eastern states and European allies appears to be broader and more committed than the one mustered for the 2003 invasion of Iraq, but the U.S. must straddle sharp and growing divisions in the Muslim world over whether to combat or accommodate the forces of militant Islam. Kerry, who held meetings in Saudi Arabia on Thursday ahead of planned trips to Ankara and Cairo, is seeking to stitch together a broad-based Arab resistance against Islamic State's violent advance in Iraq and Syria, even though governments and citizens from some of the Arab nations he seeks to assemble stand accused of providing logistical and financial support to militant Islamic organizations, including those operating in Syria. The issue of support to organizations such as Hamas in the Gaza Strip and the Muslim Brotherhood elsewhere in the Middle East has fueled long-sta ...

Qatar's role as US ally at odds with claims it sponsors terror Published August 30, 2014 FoxNews.com If the Middle East were one big room, Qatar would be the elephant, according to a growing number of regional experts who believe the oil rich emirate is propping up violent jihadists around the globe even as it poses as a U.S. ally and would-be broker of peace. Israel has long complained of Qatar's alleged duplicity, accusing it of meddling, bankrolling Hamas in Gaza, exporting radical Islamic terrorism through its tight links to the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Nusra. And a German official recently suggested that Qatar may also play a role in funding Islamic State, the savage extremist group behind the beheading of U.S. journalist James Foley. "You have to ask who is arming, who is financing ISIS troops? The key word there is Qatar - and how do we deal with these people and states politically?" German Development Minister Gerd Muller said last week. In response, Qatari Foreign Minister Khalid bin Mohammed al ...

These two clowns are suddenly waking up to the jihad threat? John Mccain, who posed for photos with jihad terrorists in Syria and insisted they were moderates? John Mccain and Lindsay Graham, who heaped scorn and abuse upon Michele Bachmann for suggesting that there might be Muslim Brotherhood infiltration in the U.S. government? It is good for anyone to be sounding the alarm about the reality of the Islamic State’s repeated desire to murder Americans, but these two Senators are part of the problem. They are part of the Washington establishment that has ignored, denied, downplayed and misdiagnosed the jihad threat for years. McCain’s energetic cheerleading for the Syrian “rebels” is part of the reason why the Islamic State exists and is prospering.
"Daily News Egypt" / / / ne fait aucun doute selon le ministre des Affaires religieuses égyptien que les Frères musulmans et l'Etat islamique nouvellement déclaré (Isis) partagent un certain nombre de similitudes. * By Aaron T. Rose The Muslim Brotherhood and the newly-declared Islamic State (Isis) “no doubt” share a number of similarities, said the Ministry of Religious Endowments. In a Friday statement, the Ministry criticised the Muslim Brotherhood—of which deposed president Mohamed Morsi is a member—by comparing it with Isis, the group that has slaughtered civilians and destroyed cities as it attempts to secure territory in Syria and Iraq and expand its borders. “No doubt there are connections between Isis and the Muslim Brotherhood,” read the statement. “They are both waging a war against their homelands with vandalism, destruction and murder—murder on behalf of the enemies of the state who fund them.” The statement also said that both Isis and the Muslim Brotherhood exploit wom ...
Amidist unprecedented regional turmoil, inter- Arab disputes and a sharp decline in U.S. influence, Israel seems to be acting with little to no restraint in the Middle East. In both war and peace, the Israeli government of Benjamin Netanyahu seems to be setting its own terms with the Palestinians as it pummels Gaza and shrugs off the negotiations with the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Netanyahu, by evoking the mantra of “radical Islam” and drawing comparisons between the Palestinian militant group Hamas and the extremist Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), seems to be taking advantage of the regional divisions and the new paranoia of the Muslim Brotherhood among the governments of Syria, Egypt and the Arab Gulf with the exception of Qatar. It is this strategy that is driving Israel to denounce the Turkish or Qatari mediation to end the 23-days-old assault on Gaza, in an attempt to court Egypt and abuse the regional divide. Humiliating Kerry Not even John Kerry, the U.S. secretary of state w ...
Saudi Arabia escalated its campaign against the Muslim Brotherhood today by including the organization on a controversial new list of terrorist movements. This new step comes in the wake of a similar decision by Egypt to designate the Brotherhood as a terrorist group in December, as well as a diplomatic incident this week in which Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, and Egypt withdrew their ambassadors to punish Qatar for its sponsorship of the Brotherhood. Eight other organizations were also listed by name in today’s announcement. “The Organization Al Qaeda” was listed, as well as several of its current or former affiliates: Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, Al Qaeda in Yemen, Al Qaeda in Iraq, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, and Syria’s Nusra Front. Two Iranian clients were named: the Shi’ite Houthi rebels in northern Yemen and Hezbollah in the Hejaz, which is a Saudi branch of the Lebanese terror group Hezbollah listed in a 2001 U.S. indictment as the main perpetrator of a 1996 terrorist at ...
HEADLINES FROM AROUND THE WORLD Middle East After a court ruling that banned all Muslim Brotherhood activities earlier this month, the Egyptian government is moving to seize the group's assets. In a rare interview with BBC Persian, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that the Iranian regime would become "immortal, like North Korea" if it is allowed to develop nuclear weapons. Fighting between Syrian rebel factions has intensified since the Al Qaeda affiliated Islamic State of Iraq and Syria ousted more moderate rebels and seized control of the northern Syrian town of Azaz. Africa Kenyan security forces may have engaged in widespread looting of the Westgate mall, following last month's ruthless attack that left more than 70 people dead. Some Egyptians are looking for a more liberal Egypt and others like the Muslim Brotherhood want to create an Islamic State. I've been studying the aspects of Islam for some time now. This issue isn't new in the Islamic World i.e. Iranian Revolution of 1979, student protest in Turkey in the 90s, and of course the turmoil that has occurred in Northern Nigeria in the early 2000s. The Arab Spring only heightened an already volatile situation.
Local infighting between Islamist rebel factions – and between the jihadists and the more moderate opposition forces – has begun in Syria. The violence is taking place despite the fact that the civil war between the opposition fighters and loyalists defending President Bashar al-Assad has not yet ended. But the war may in fact wind down with this week’s overthrow of Muslim Brotherhood-backed Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi giving strength to Assad’s forces. The Muslim Brotherhood has long provided support to the Syrian radical Islamist cause -- part of the reason for the fragmentation that prevented the opposition from coalescing into a reasonably organized force backed by a unified government-in-exile, one the West was able to support. Rebel forces in Syria, fragmented as they were before Morsi’s fall, are now fighting each other in earnest. A merger formed between the global Al Qaeda-backed Islamic State of Iraq, and al-Sham (ISIS), the Syrian unit, has been working to swallow northern Syrian ...
Al’s thought for today: Is Western style ‘democracy’ a sham? There has been much head shaking and brow rubbing regarding the events in Egypt where a democratically elected President has been overthrown by the military. Western politicians and ‘meja’ are for once unable to come down heavily on one side of the argument or another. The facts were that the incumbent president had achieved a slender majority and together with his Muslim Brotherhood chums was totally incompetent and taking Egypt towards an Islamic State. Nevertheless, under our interpretation of what I have always thought is pseudo democracy, he should not have been ousted. The question arises as to what our democracy really is. We are told that every 5 years we can choose another party and that the will of the people triumphs. Patently it doesn’t: 1. Governments under first past the post system often hold power without an overall majority of voters. 2. Once in power, MPs will plough their own furrow under the control of a small num ...

Jerusalem, Capital of Israel: An Islamic Prophecy   by Ali Salim January 29, 2013   Jerusalem is the capital of the Children of Israel, now called the Jews; and it is forbidden for Musims to demand it, just as a married woman belongs only to her husband. Is it possible that Allah, who on His infinite mercy, calls them the Chosen People, and promises them the Holy Land, also plans to murder them, using the Muslims in Palestine as His intermediary? Every Muslim knows that Allah does not break His promises.   If you listen in Arabic to the hate-speeches made by Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi; or to Turkish President Erdogan; or to the calls made from Qatar by Muslim Brotherhood leader Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi and from the Gaza Strip by the head of Hamas, Khaled Mashaal for the killing of the Jews, you will understand why Arabs and Muslims believe Allah is punishing them by having them kill each other: It is because His prophecies are not being fulfilled.   For example, it is heresy and a violation of t ...
Egyptian voters have just agreed to transform their nation into one ruled by the brutally repressive Islamic totalitarian doctrine known as shariah. Despitesoothing assurances from the victorious Muslim Brotherhood and their apologists in the West, this vote fundamentally changes Egypt. And it threatens to change everything in the Middle East, as well. By formalizing the Brotherhood’s complete take-over of their government, Egyptians threaten the liberties and even the lives of Christians and other minorities in their country. They ensure Egypt will become even more closely aligned with jihadism and a safe-haven for those who practice it. And it aligns Cairo once again with those seeking the destruction of Israel, notwithstanding false assurances that it will respect a 1979 peace treaty with the Jewish State. And Obama wants to send Egypt more arms?

***IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM THE ADMIN.*** Dear Watchmen and all her friends, The Lord has bid me to share the following with you: After 597 B.C, God raised Ezekiel, who was in Exile in Babylon as of then to proclaim the following (to the people of Israel scattered all over the globe) : "For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your land". Ezekiel 36:24. As days roll into years, God raised another prophet, Amos, about 760 B.C to reiterate His plan one more time to His people saying : "...And I will plant them upon their land and they shall NO MORE be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the Lord thy God." Amos 9:14-15 Being a covenant-keeping-God, He got these prophesies fulfilled on 14th May, 1948. Since then, Israel has been in land dispute with Palestine (Backed strongly by the Muslim Brotherhood established in 1928) on where the border should be. The sacred Islamists and their frightened majority (Part 1) By-Mohamed Waked | 5 November 2012 To those unfamiliar with the “civil”/religious debate in Egypt, the term “civil” was recently dubbed to mark an assembly of disparate, sometimes conflicting, ideologies and positions that stand for the creation of what has come to be known as a “civil state.” This “civil state” is in turn commonly imagined as something that stands against a theocratic (Islamic) state, but not necessarily against political Islam per se — for there are several Islamic versions of the “civil.” The term “civil” forced itself on public debate for the first time perhaps during the 2005 parliamentary elections, when the Muslim Brotherhood emerged as the only serious contender to the old ruling party. Since then, its evolution led it to acquire multiple meanings, like all other political signifiers. One can even make the ready argument that it is currently but an empty signifier, but such is true of all politic ...
Taqiya & Jihad: The Duality of Islamic Doctrine :The Threat Doctrine that Cries 'Blasphemy' By Janet Levy For the past 25 years, the Muslim Brotherhood in North America has been pursuing a comprehensive strategy to control what non-Muslims know about Islam. This multi-pronged threat doctrine seeks to prohibit open discussion and to abridge free speech. It also seeks to curtail education and training given to the military, law enforcement, intelligence, and government about the true nature of Islam. Overall, the Brotherhood's agenda seeks to block a fair and critical appraisal of Islamic doctrine, pursue a stealth civilizational jihad against the West, and, ultimately, render us impotent to defend ourselves. A review of the Brotherhood's progress in this effort over the past two decades presents a chilling picture of the extent to which our safety and way of life have been compromised. It serves as a wake-up call for action now. Background The General Strategic Plan for the Muslim Brotherhood in North Amer ...
