Among my somewhat small collection of treasured memorabilia are ticket stubs from concerts by Iron Butterfly, Cream, Three Dog Night, Steppenwolf, Grataeful Dead and The Doors. But I don't go to live concerts much anymore (a BIG mistake!) and I catch my concerts on DVD. The second BEST DVD concert I have ever seen is The Last Waltz by Scorsese and The Band. The best DVD concert I have seen by far is Tina Turner Live in Amsterdam. It is s stunning combination of performance and production. Nothing else comes close that i have found. What have you found in the way of concert DVDs that you thought were excellent (or better!)??
Just woke up from the best nap ever! Then the girls did it. They sent me to the 70's music. Deep Purple, Three Dog Night, Iron Butterfly - I'm jammin, and it ain't pretty. Right On!!!
