WELL SAID ! What the make-over artists of Buhari cannot change: His religious bigotry Desperate for power the North seemed to have gathered around General Muhammad Buhari, the erstwhile Military dictator. Supported by con artists from the South West who advise and tutor him on how to conduct himself Buhari now wears expensive suits, plays with children and is said to be going for lessons in reciting the Bible and singing gospel hymns! All these to show that he is not a religious extremist! To add, he has a Pastor, as he had in 2011 as his running mate. Truth, however is that Buhari was nominated by Boko Haram as its mediator for negotiations which they said should take place in Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, spokesman of the group, Abu Mohammed Ibn Abdulazeez, who doubles as the Second-in-Command (Amir) to their leader, Imam Abubakar Shekau, made the group’s intention known in a tele-conference with journalists in Maiduguri.Abdulazeez said other people, who could mediate with the government if its conditions ...
It was gathered that the leader of Boko Haram, Imam Abubakar Shekau who is currently hiding away in Qoundere, Cameroun following the recent and ongoing attacks on Kano and Bauchi State – had deliberated seriously on the assassination of the former president of Nigeria, General Obasanjo on September 15, 2011 while on a visit to Borno State to the home of the in-law to the slain leader of Boko Haram [Ustaz Mohammed Yusuf]. According to the Boko Haram source, former President Obasanjo had made first contact with Yusuf’s in-lawal, Babakura Fuggu [eldest son of Yusuf's in-law] in early September 2012 concerning opening a channel of dialogue with the terrorist group. The leadership of the group took it uneasy with the choice of Babakura – [since the line of leadership did not automatically follow family lineage as in traditional settings. As a 'religious' group they did not see Babakura as the rightful person to take over from Yusuf.] - For this reason, the leadership of the group ‘silently’ objected ...

Boko Haram leader "Imam Abubakar Shekau" Message to President Jonathan ''Greetings to you and greetings to fellow muslims and thanks be to God. This is a message to Goodluck and to the Can president. Alhamdullahi, we are known as Jamatu Ahlis Sunna Lidda'awati wal-jihad which some people derogatory term as Boko Haram. We have said all that needs to be said and everyone has seen what the security personnel have done to us. Everyone has seen why we are fighting with them. We hardly touch anybody except security personnel and christians and those who have betrayed us. Everyone knows what christians did to muslims, not once or twice. Why i've come out to explain myself is because of the explanation jonathan and the CAN president gave on us, including the various versions people give about us that we are like cancer (a terrible ailment) in this country called Nigeria. No, we're not cancer, neither are we evil. If people don't know us, God knows everyone. Everyone knows what happened to our leader. Everyone kno ...

Adeyinka Grandson To fool gullible Nigerians, the Northern Elder Forum, Arewa Consultative Forum and the Northern Governors Forum went to press claiming Boko Haram leader is Kanuri. The moment Mr President declared state of emergency in three states of the North-East of Nigeria, the Special Forces, mainly of Yoruba descent, intercepted documents showing that Imam Abubakar Shekau was not a Kanuri but Fulani like Buhari, Emir of Sokoto etc. The likes of Buhari and other Fulani desperate to take presidential power in 2015 were very bitter about this revelation. Today, they have come out to say Boko Haram leader is from Niger Republic. Your game is up. No northern would ever again rule Nigeria under this sham unitary system. Boko Haram is Fulani and Buhari and co are

WHO DO WE LISTEN OR FOLLOW BOKO HARAM OR? We did not kidnap French nationals – Boko Haram By Wale Odunsi on February 24, 2013 A faction of the dreaded Boko Haram sect on Saturday denied they were involved in last week’s abduction of seven French nationals in Cameroon. The group made this known in a press conference in Maiduguri, the Borno capital. Sheikh Abu Muhammad Ibn Abdulazeez who spoke on behalf of the sect leader, Imam Abubakar Shekau, also said it was not part of the the ongoing violence within and around Maiduguri. ‘We have been hearing, of late, how people are linking us with the kidnap of the seven French nationals in Cameroon. We have nothing to do with the French people or their abductors’, he said. ‘The security or whoever that is trying to rescue the kidnapped French nationals should better look elsewhere, because it would amount to waste of time if they continue assuming we are involved’. BOKO HARAM 'CEASE FIRE' Chinua Achebe quipped in one of his novels, quoting an Igbo proverb: when a bully sees someone he can beat up, he becomes hungry for a fight. The attitude that drives bullies is cowardice. So, the converse to that Igbo proverb is when a bully sees someone that can beat him up, he scurries away like a rat. That explains Boko Haram, the terrorist group’s sudden unilateral declaration of ceasefire. When it was busy running rings round Goodluck Jonathan’s security apparatuses, Imam Abubakar Shekau and his group were waxing bloodily lyrical as to how they would finish with the North and go on to Islamise the whole of Nigeria. They even told Jonathan to convert to Islam as a prelude to any peace talk! Shekau even rhapsodised on some exclusive divine charter from ‘Allah’, to kill his enemies – as if God, that created Man, needed any man to fight His battles. But now that the French are pacifying the Mali base of the cowardly Boko Haram leaders, they are scurrying home and pantin ...

He claims to be the second-in-command to Boko Haram leader Imam Abubakar Shekau, conducted in Hausa by phone in Bauchi State, by a foreign journalist. In it, Marwana speaks authoritatively about meetings between members of his group and some top Northerners, including Governor Sule Lamido, former Minister of Defence Bello Halliru, and Sheik Dahiru Bauchi. The translation, into English, did not provide any context to those meetings. According to the source which made the tape available, the interview was broadcast yesterday, January 28, but it is unclear when it was conducted and where it was broadcast. Translated into English, the interview shows Marwana dispelling any possible dialogue with the militants because the government has allegedly killed 47 Boko Haram emissaries in dialogue efforts that have never seen the light of day. In the intervie . ...

The collapse of the planned dialogue is coming barely three weeks after the sect initiated a fresh move for ceasefire and peace talks. The sect had on Thursday, November 1, announced, through one of its commanders, Abu Mohammed Ibn Abdulaziz, that it will stop its campaign of violence in the northern part of the country if the government will offer its members compensation and arrest a former governor of Borno State, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff. The development came barely five days after Saturday Sun, in an exclusive story, reported that the Federal Government had discovered the operational base of the sect in northern Mali, where Boko Haram leader, Imam Abubakar Shekau, is believed ...
