By: Alex Csedrik The New York Rangers have started the season 1-3, because they dropped games to big-time players in the league like the Boston Bruins, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Philadelphia Flyers (on sheer firepower alone—they still need a defense and a steady net presence, which, they assumed, Ilya Bryzgalov would, now hopefully for them will, provide). Now, no team likes to be on the wrong side of that record, but here the Rangers are. And it’s fine. It’s four games. In a playoff series, that would matter. In the regular season, especially in the start of a truncated one, they don’t really mean a hill of beans. However, moving forward, there is some work to be done.
