Ibrahim Idris Adejo (born 1944) is a Nigerian businessman who was elected Governor of Kogi State in Nigeria in April 2003 and reelected in April 2007. He is a member of the ruling People's Democratic Party (PDP). Prince Abubakar Audu was twice the Governor of Nigeria's Kogi state. Walking down the memory lane, kogites esp Igala people are peace loving people who always aspires to maintain the sanctity of brotherhood & good neigbourlines, except for the inter-tribal feud & battle for supremacy as occasioned by Misunderstanding btw Igala & Igbira extracts. For what I understand, kogi state should have developed far beyond this pitiable level It's today, but failure of leadership has largely contributes to our problems, right from the inception of time when the state was created. The 1st democratically elected governor in the state-Alh. Abubakar Audu (Ede-Adoja), has tried sth in moving the state foward under his leadership, but his efforts was Inadequate, Until Alh. Ibrahim Idris (Ibro) single-handedly took over the Mantle of leadership from Audu. In comparism, Audu's leadership wasn't good enough, nevertheless, his (Audu) leadership was far better of as compared to Ibro's epileptic leadership of two & half tenures. Recent Unpatriotic statement made by Minister for Education has even bothers me much more dan d face-off bcos it reminds me of the exact statement made by Abubakar Audu to my university Lectures den and what followed next. Honestly, such a statement could only come from an uneducated person who has no idea of what university or unionism is all about.. Abubakar Audu was not the Governor at d time my university was troubled, it was Ibrahim Idris.. Audu felt bad about it n regret a whole lot of it wen we visited him in his Aso Villa Home..he said " if u are some wr n u r told dt fire is consuming ur house, how wl u feel?
