"THE ISLAMIC RULLING ON ZAKAAT AL-FITR." As for its ruling, it is an obligation that was obligated on us from the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam), and whatever he obligates or orders us, it is taken the same as something obligated on us from Allah(Swt). As Allah(Swt) Says, "Whoever obeys the Messenger then they have indeed obeyed Allah(Swt)…" And it is an obligation on the young and old, male and female, free man and slave, from the Muslims. Abdullah bin Umar (radiyallaahu anhu) said: "The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) made zakatul-fitr from Ramadaan obligatory, a sa'ah of dates or barley on the slave, free, male, female, young, and old from the Muslims.” [Agreed upon] It is not obligatory to be paid on the baby still in the mother's stomach, but if they pay it for the rewards, then that is okay. Uthman (radiyallaahu anhu) used to take it. Each person is responsible for paying it on themselves,if they can't then their family can pay it for them. Whoever can't afford to give on ...
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) once said: "Take benefit of five before five: Your youth before your old age, your health before your sickness, your wealth before your poverty, your free time before you are preoccupied, and your life before your death."(Narrated by Ibn Abbas and reported by Al Hakim)This is along the lines of what we've been speaking about recently about making most of good days.Having free time and a relaxed good day is a blessing and thus a responsibility, not a license to be unproductive, laze around and waste time.Having said that, it doesn't mean that you can't engage yourself in relaxing (but productive) activities in such days. Examples of such activities: reading, catching up on an online course that you enjoy, spending quality time with your spouse and children, calling your relatives or visiting them, listening to or attending an Islamic lecture, and lots more.Just because you want to be productive in a good day doesn't mean you should lock yourself down and work. Ramadan is a special time of year -- a time when Muslims around the world take a step back from their daily routines and focus on community, charity, fasting, and prayer. Ibn Abbas described that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was the most generous of people, and even more so during the month of Ramadan. Ramadan is a very special time for Muslims, with intense spiritual meaning. As we fast during the daytime hours, we feel the hunger and thirst felt by millions who go without their basic needs throughout the year. However, the meaning and benefits of Ramadan go beyond thirst and hunger.
Prophet muhammad's cousin Ibn Abbas recalled that the prophet had said: "One should not say that I am better than Jonah, son of Amittai."
Sixth Call: Enter Perfectly in Islam “O you who believe! Enter perfectly in Islam (by obeying all the rules and regulations of the Islamic religion) and follow not the footsteps of Shaitan (Satan). Verily! He is to you a plain enemy. Then if you slide back after the clear signs (Prophet Muhammad and this Qur’an, and Islam) have come to you, then know that Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.” (Al-Baqarah: 208-209) Almighty Allah calls the believers to enter perfectly in Islam by following all its legislations and commandments and avoiding its prohibitions. He (AWJ)1 guides them that believers have to unite and combine not to separate and divide. Ibn Abbas said: “Enter perfectly in Islam” means embrace Islam fully. Then, Allah commands them to abandon what Satan tells them to do, because he orders them to commit evil and profanity. He directs his followers, through his temptations and orders, to be among the residents of hellfire. This is why he is considered a plain enemy to humans because he is eager ...
Prophet Muhammad lived among pagans who literally worshiped in nakedness, it seems evident he took part in this before reaching the age of 40 when he decided to plagarise the bible and create his own cult! Note: Kaba or Ka'ba is the black cube building that you see in Mecca, and "Tawaf" means going around. Ibn Abbas reported: During the pre-Islamic days women circumambulated the Ka'ba nakedly, and said: Who would provide cloth to cover the one who is circumambulating the Ka'ba so that she would cover her private parts? And then she would say: Today will be exposed the whole or the part and what is exposed I shall not make it lawful. It was in this connection that the verse was revealed: "Adorn yourself at every place of worship" (vii. 31). (Translation of Sahih Muslim, Book 043, Number 7179)" Narrated Abu Huraira: "On the Day of Nahr (10th of Dhul-Hijja, in the year prior to the last Hajj of the Prophet when Abu Bakr was the leader of the pilgrims in that Hajj) Abu Bakr sent me along with other announce . ...
Beware of the concern of even your biological mothers and sisters – it can sometimes be the cause of your marital troubles: Narrated by Ibn Abbas, Prophet Muhammad [Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him] said:“The best woman (wife) is the one who, when you look at her she pleases you, when you command her she obeys you, and when you are not in her presence, she safeguards herself and your belongings.”[Ibn Majah 1861] Muslim women should be careful about this matter even with their biological sisters and mothers. At the end of the day, no one wants a woman to come and live with them if she gets divorced or estranged from her husband. They, however, do enjoy listening to her incessantly complain of the problems in her husband’s home: how low the finances are, how untidy her husband is, how much he eats, or how he neglects her rights. They might throw bygone incidents in her face even months after she has moved on and forgotten them, so that she starts brimming with indignation all over again, at ...
I Love Muhammad (P.B.U.H) More Than My Father & All Mankind wrote: Ibn Abbas reported that the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said, "No good deeds done on other days are superior to those done on those days [meaning the first ten days of Thul Hijjah]." What are your plans for these blessed days?
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “I had a chance to look into the Paradise and I found that majority of the people was poor..” (Ibn Abbas)
Narrated by Ibn Abbas (RA), the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: "Whoever creates a living image in this world (i.e, human, animal) will be charged with putting a soul in it which he will never be able to do."
