Michele Bachmann, Louie Gohmert, Trent Franks, Lynn Westmoreland, and Tom Rooney fired off those five letters to various Inspectors General back on June 13th. Based on all that has transpired to this point, we thought it a worthy endeavor to chronicle the individuals / entities that have come out in support of Huma Abedin and against Bachmann. Once you look at the list – which we will attempt to keep updated – a profile of an Abedin supporter begins to emerge. Before we itemize the list of shame that includes the names of individuals who will one day find themselves firmly planted on the wrong side of history, it’s important to identify those who have come down on the righteous side of this battle. House GOP lawmakers double down on Muslim Brotherhood comments (The Hill) - Republican lawmakers who demanded an investigation into whether Hillary Clinton's Deputy Chief of staff is a covert agent for the Muslim Brotherhood said this week they have no regrets. Former presidential candidate Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) and four other House members sent several letters over the past few weeks to government agencies asking them to make sure they were properly vetting federal workers. Their letter to the State Department's deputy inspector general, however, ignited controversy for singling out Huma Abedin, a longtime Clinton aide and former Rep. Anthony Weiner’s (D-N.Y.) wife, who they said had family ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Rep. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.) told The Hill that the media's focus on Abedin was a “deliberate effort to change the subject.” “The focus in the media has been on one sentence in one of those letters, and ... they have the right to do that,” Franks said. “But it certainly ...
These people need to RESIGN Rep. Michele Bachmann, (R) Minnesota. Rep. Louie Gohmert, (R) Texas. Rep. Trent Franks, (R) Arizona. Rep. Tom Rooney, (R) Florida. Rep. Lynn Westmoreland, (R) Georgia. They all signed the letter authored by Michele Bachmann. These people do not need to be in Congress, for their RACIST views and out right lies and character assassination of Secretary of State Hiliary Clinton`s top aid Huma Abedin, whom Bachmann and her co-signers allege has ties to the hard-line Islamic group through her family.
As always my husband is standing up for what is right. and Rep Trent Franks are wrong about Huma Abedin!
I've been fairly quiet regarding politics of late, but I am so struck by two recent events that are simply outrageous in nature. The first is Mitt Romney's wife reinforcing her husband's refusal to make public several years of tax returns, telling ABC News "we've given all you people need to know" about the family's finances. YOU PEOPLE... seriously? I won't bother going into any deep analysis - the statement speaks volumes. The second comes from Michelle Bachman... the flap began after Bachmann and Republican colleagues (including Arizona Rep. Trent Franks) sent letters to several inspector generals in the State Department, Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Defense, the Department of Justice and the Office of National Intelligence as to whether the Muslim Brotherhood could be infiltrating the U.S. government. The letters quickly attracted attention with one specifically mentioning the State Department's Deputy Chief of Staff, Huma Abedin, a long-time Hillary Clinton aide, by name. Sinc ...
