Sneak Peek, Wednesday's Syndicated Column -- "RUBEN NAVARRETTE COLUMN (Advance for Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, and thereafter. Web release Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at 8 p.m. EST) (For Navarrette clients only) Wendy Davis' choices By RUBEN NAVARRETTE JR. SAN DIEGO -- Being a liberal means never having to be consistent. Take the idea that women should make their own choices about family and career and it is no one else's business what they choose to do. That sounds good. I just can't believe it's coming from liberals who have never been particularly skilled at resisting the urge to criticize women over the choices they make -- if those women are conservative Republicans. In the 1992 presidential campaign, Hillary Clinton defended her choice to pursue a high-powered legal career by taking a swipe at the June Cleaver crowd. 'I suppose I could have stayed home and baked cookies and had teas,' she said. 'But what I decided to do was to fulfill my profession, which I entered before my husband was in public life.' I ...
Hillary Clinton will be our next President. Get used to it.
The esteemed gentleman from Arizona, last seen spitting fury at Hillary Clinton, who was not impressed, had a nice lunch date today with his old friends His Lord High Hairgel Mittens of Romney, and his wife, the Lady Egg! What
The GOP/KKK like their women to be stupid, pretty and white. They like their women to be Stepford Wives. They like their women to be like Ann Romney or Callista Gingrich. What the GOP/KKK hates are smart women like Hillary Clinton. They can't stand a woman who actually thinks for herself, isn't afraid of them and knows more than they do! John Mccain, Rand Paul and other members of the GOP/KKK are perfect examples of why so many countries hate America! Hillary 2016!!!
so I was bored and leafing through a magazine -- MORE magazine -- and there is an article entitled " why is America's First Lady stuck in time?" accompanied by pictures of Michelle Obama, Laura Bush, Hillary Clinton and...wait for it...Ann Romney??? has my power been out longer than I think???
I loved this dress. It is the kind of dress every woman would look good in - especially women like me and Hillary Clinton who are hippy. :-) (hippy as opposed to hippie)
Michelle Obama is by far the most gorgeous 1st Lady (you know It's true, don't BS yourself). Followed by Laura Bush, Hillary Clinton, and if her husband is elected Ann Romney (even though she has some "Creature Feature" moments.) Barbara Bush looks like the Quaker Oats man!! Eehh... *vomits in my mouth*
Ann Romney interview in current issue of Good Housekeeping says she admires Hillary Clinton, thinks she's doing a great job as Sec State
Also can't forget to mention the older boy with him who was wearing a Hillary Clinton mask but thought it was Ann Romney.
Not for one side or the other right now on this election. Actually believe I could do just as good of a job as has been done so far, and when you think about that , pretty darn scary. 4 years from now, should Obama win, just do not see Joe Biden as President. Likeable guy, not presidential. Actually I really liked the idea of Hillary Clinton, now there is one tough lady. Michelle Obama, can take her or leave her, she has her good moments and bad. Ann Romney, I cannot relate to at all. She comes across as privileged. She is the modern day Marie Antoinette. The infamous line "let them eat cake",,that is Ann Romney, she is clueless. If she had to run a household , raise 5 children without the benefit of assistants and basically unlimited cash, she then might be able to understand what the average american wife and mother does. Course that is not the case, she wears designer T shirt worth several hundred dollars because she can ,HELLLOOO ,, Reality calling, Ann, most of us can't,,don't think we can afford to ...
I've been hearing from various Democrats how the Republicans are waging a "war on women". Let see. let's ask some women how they are treated by various Democrats or Republicans. Let's ask Ann Romney, Barbara Bush, Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Edwards. The Democrats won't use the phrase "War on Terrorism" but they have coined the phrase "War on Women". Proof that they are lowest people in the US and that is saying a lot given the number of Muslim ***
"The 'war on women' is a joke. Want to know how republicans treat women, ask Ann Romney. Want to know how democrats treat women, ask Hillary Clinton." -- Bernard McGuirk
For those who don't know, Diplomats, has a money laundering scam in Foreign Countries. The Middle East, Africa, Switzerland and the Caribbean are major for them. That's why U.S. money was found at the death of Hussein. People like Sec. Hillary Clinton, Mitt Romney, Ann Romney, Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and a host of others are after. They want to control the money and people's lives. To due what live in a compound and be *** for foodstamps, and cash assistances. Remember the Watergate Scandal and the Savings and Loans Scandal. What I have to say shouldn't spark them to be unjust.
Well, I think it's clear the Dems had a better convention than the Pubs did. Let's face it, for whatever reason, the Dems know how to put on a better show. Both sides had embarrassing moments (Dems over God and Israel, Pubs over social issues). However, Dems made better use of their videos, had better timing and no embarrassing Clint Eastwood performance. I think the decision to have Obama greet Clinton after his speech was brilliant (not a bad Photo Op for a president who wants to be seen as Clinton's natural successor with respect to presiding over better economic times). Obama's a big winner because it was his convention. This week, speaker after speaker made the case for his re-election. This was a significant contrast to last week, when speaker after speaker (with the exception of Ann Romney) seemed to be auditioning for 2016. But it was also a good week for someone who wasn't even there - Hillary Clinton. No speaker really emerged as a significant contender in 2016, should she choose to run. ...
I am a senior citizen and have lived through a lot of first ladies. i have found something to like about most of them, but I must say Ann Romney is everything i think a First Lady should be. She has the class of Jackie Kennedy, the intelligence of Hillary Clinton, the bravery of Betty Ford, and the great love of Barbara and Laura Bush. We need her in the White House.
My take from RNC day 1: Neg: Bob Mcdonnell (Gov. Virginia) looks like a Ken doll, he should be cast on Mad Men. Pos: Ann Romney looks and sounds like a young Hillary Clinton.
Hillary Clinton is smart. Laura Bush is graceful. Cindy McCain & Michele Obama are fabulous. Nancy Reagan is classic. Ann Romney isn't real.
I would pay as much as I could afford to have a picture taken with Ann Romney, Janna Ryan and others. I would never pay a penny to have a photo taken with Michelle Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, Catherine Sebelius or anyone in the Obama Administration who is pro-abortion...THE MOST HEINOUS EVIL IN THE WORLD TODAY (THE MURDER OF INNOCENT UNBORN BABIES). They should thank God their mothers did not abort them.
Ann Romney says of Mitt that "There's a wild and crazy man inside of there." Right, and Hillary Clinton says there's a monogamous man inside of Bill.
Michelle Obama and Ann Romney are soaring high in personal popularity compared to their husbands President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, while Hillary Clinton, another prominent woman in the American political sphere, has hit a new 20-year high in her favorability rating, according to a new poll. TERRY O’NEILL (President of NOW): What would we be saying if Hillary Clinton [sic] had said this: that Ann Romney has never, has not worked for pay outside the home a day in her life? That’s my understanding that’s an accurate statement, and that raises the exact issue that Hilary Rosen was trying to get to, which is do Mr. & Mrs. Romney have the kind of life experience and if not, the imagination, to really understand what most American families are going through right now? I think that that was what Hilary was getting out, and so she Left Out the words “for pay outside the home.”
Hilary Rosen and Hillary Clinton: Ah those sweet, sweet memories of Hillary Clinton saying she wasn't "some little woman standing by her man, baking cookies" -- and of Teresa Heinz-Kerry's wondering if Laura Bush had ever worked a "real" job and the understanding that Michelle Obama had a $300,000 a-year job created for her out of whole cloth, and then discontinued when she left for the White House. --Hilary Rosen, Ann Romney and the Credentialists The Anchoress
How about the Democratic war on Republican women!! In the past Hillary Rosen hammered Sarah Palin for being a working mom and yesterday and this morning Hammered Ann Romney for being a stay at home mom. By the way Ann Romney is a breast cancer survivor and she also has multiple sclerosis. Want more democratic hypocrisy, how about their love for Hillary Clinton, a working Mom and love for Elizabeth Edwards a rich stay at home Mom. Different day same sh__!
