What a game last night for the New York Rangers as they defeated the Washington Capitals 2-1 at the Garden with goals by Carl Hagelin and Derek Stepan (PPG)...the shots were 40-28 Rangers (Holtby was really strong in the game too, especially with the 20-save 1st period)...Henrik Lundqvist was awesome yet again with a strong 27-save performance and what 2 outstanding blocked shots by Ryan Callahan to clear the zone in the final minute!!...and what a beautiful powerplay goal with the tape-to-tape quick passing from Rick Nash to Brad Richards to Michael Del Zotto to Derek Stepan!! The Rangers are now 8-5-1 with 17 points (6-2-1 at HOME)...the Rangers have won 4 out of the last 5 and will look to continue that at home vs the Montreal Canadiens tomorrow night...NYR!!
