Hades in Clash of the Titans is so like Voldemort in Harry Potter. Gotta love Ralph Fiennes. Such a great actor. Respect.
Say what like about Harry Potter but Alan Rickman, Gary Oldman, Ralph Fiennes, Robbie Coltrane, Maggie Smith, Julie Walters. Amazing.
I was so happy to see the film win Best Picture Musical/Comedy last night at the ! I have seen it three times now, on flights I took last summer. Loved it every time - it is an eccentric but charming movie following a concierge at the height of a grand dame hotel's popularity during the period between World War I and World War II. I'm no film critic, but Ralph Fiennes is captivating - he brings to this role a freshness anyone can appreciate - and very different from his roles in the "English Patient" or the "Harry Potter" series. There are some fun, unexpected cameos throughout too. Yes, there is a travel theme - thus, my enthusiasm. If you love being in hotels, that is the film's backdrop. But there is allegedly some real life inspiration for this. Some have drawn parallels between The Grand Budapest Hotel and the hey day and even architecture of an existing Budapest hotel, the Corinthia Budapest in Hungary. Filmmaker Wes Anderson reportedly stayed there, and the similarities are striking. I stayed there ...

... Ralph Fiennes (who surely should have gotten an Oscar for his role in the Harry Potter series) was superb... Wes Anderson is brilliant!
I love to watch how Ralph Fiennes uses his hands as Voldemort in the Harry Potter movies... The way he holds a wand is incredibly gracefull and expressive. He may be the dark lord, but he gets first prize for wand handling in my book.
Harry Potter star Ralph Fiennes is returning to the West End next spring to star in the National Theatre's production of Man And Superman.
Just found out that 3 of the main characters in "In Bruges" are also together in Harry Potter and the goblet of fire. Colin Farrell's girlfriend, Ralph Fiennes and Brendan Gleeson. Yes I'm watching Harry Potter and yes I know you've never heard of In Bruges. Go watch it immediately. Top 5, maybe top 3 Adam film. Won't disappoint for sure.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 Movie Review… As their final year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry begins, Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson) are missing from the school train. Instead, they’ve decided to leave their homes and begin the quest to destroy the remaining horcruxes before Voldemort and his army of Death Eaters can catch them. However, their path leads them to discover the existence of the three Deathly Hallows, which Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) is desperate to find and which they must stop him getting his hands on at any cost. The latest installment to the Potter universe takes a much darker turn than its predecessors as our three lead characters leave the comfortable security of the school grounds and head out into the wilderness of Britain with only Dumbledore’s cryptic clues and a series of mysterious objects to guide them. As the wizarding community begins to fall under Voldemort’s evil campaign, the colorful and whimsical ...
Jason Isaacs as Lucius Malfoy as to be one of the best casting choices of Harry Potter. after Ralph Fiennes as Voldemort, of course.
Any movie that I see Ralph Fiennes in that is not a Harry Potter film, I am so weirded out by the fact that he actually has a nose
*Kate puts on Maid In Manhattan* Me: I can't even watch Ralph Fiennes anymore, I keep expecting him to tie Jennifer Lopez to a chair, show her a slide show, then set her on fire or convince her to kill Harry Potter. Granted if either of those things happen this will be the most awesome movie ever"
Who is your favorite Harry Potter actror or actress? Mine would most likely be Evanna Lynch, Emma Watson, Imelda Staunton, Gary Oldman, Ralph Fiennes, and Alan Rickman. ~Rumbleroar
And cinema's Harry Potter's Voldemort's Ralph Fiennes as Lenny Nero in STRANGE DAYS still holds up as one of my favorite screen characters.
it's funny what breaks suspension of disbelief for me. This episode is the equivalent of Ralph Fiennes's nose in Harry Potter.

Well-well am I watching Nanny McPhee 2 or Harry Potter? (Ralph Fiennes, Emma Thompson, and Maggie Smith in it)
Reading a great book about strange things people say in book shops. Best quote as follows: From Weird Things Customers Say in Bookshops by Jen Campbell (Constable & Robinson, 2012). CUSTOMER: Do you have a copy of Bella Swan's favourite book? You know, from Twilight? (Bookseller sighs and pulls a copy of Wuthering Heights off the shelf) CUSTOMER: Do you have the one with the cover that looks like Twilight? BOOKSELLER: No. This is an antiquarian bookshop, so this is an old edition of the book. CUSTOMER: But it's still the one with that girl Cathy and the dangerous guy, right? BOOKSELLER: Yes, it's still the story by Emily Bronte. CUSTOMER: Right. Do you think they'll make it into a film? BOOKSELLER: They've made several films of it. The one where Ralph Fiennes plays Heathcliff is very good. CUSTOMER: What? Voldemort plays Heathcliff? BOOKSELLER: Well . . . CUSTOMER: But that's Edward's role. BOOKSELLER: Wuthering Heights was written well before both Harry Potter and Twilight. CUSTOMER: Yeah, but Voldemort ...
I honestly think that Daniel Radcliffe, Alan Rickman, Ralph Fiennes, and Maggie Smith all deserve an Oscar for their roles in Harry Potter.
Review of 007 Skyfall (Does NOT contain spoilers) I have not been a fan of the new James Bond movies (Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace) though Skyfall was great. It had all the elements of a James Bond film. Sexy women, sexy cars, sexy explosions and the ending kept me on the edge of my seat. The ending had a kick *** final battle but also had emotion that I didn't see coming from a Bond film. That being said their were a few problems with this film. Again I felt Daniel Craig did a lackluster job, better than the previous two Bond films but nowhere near as good as his roles in 'Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' or 'Cowboys vs Aliens'. Though not all the acting was terrible. Ralph Fiennes, who many will know as Lord Voldemort in the Harry Potter series, did an excellent job. Overall, Skyfall had everything you want in a Bond film and kept me excited throughout the whole thing. Final grade: 7.5/10
Only managed to watch Clash of The Titans recently and amazed with how much talent does Ralph Fiennes has (voldermort in Harry Potter movies, for those who doesnt know who he is)..and amazed how most of the great talents are not really Americans - Anthony Hopkins, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes - British, Irish..so Robert Pattinson, would you follow their footsteps?? Hmm time will tell..nway, suddenly in my "movie-freak criticising" moment.. :-)) happy weekend everyone!
Brendan Gleeson (Mad Eye in Harry Potter) is in 28 Days Later, which I'm watching right now and Christopher Eccleston (9th Doctor) is also in it. Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort) is in In Bruges with Gleeson and Matt Smith (11th Doctor) plays Fiennes character as a young man. What the *** UK?
