That moment in the third Harry Potter when Gary Oldman, David Thewlis, Alan Rickman and Timothy Spall are in the same room!
Alan Rickman and Gary Oldman rehearsing on set of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
Say what like about Harry Potter but Alan Rickman, Gary Oldman, Ralph Fiennes, Robbie Coltrane, Maggie Smith, Julie Walters. Amazing.
Do you ever get the huge desire to hug Gary Oldman when watching Harry Potter? he's so precious!
Happy 57th Birthday to Gary Oldman! He portrayed Sirius Black in the Harry Potter films. http:/…

Gary Oldman - famed for his appearances in Batman as well as Harry Potter - has apologised after appearing to defend two fellow actors for controversial
So (because I am a Harry Potter geekfreak), over the last few days I have been watching the (nearly) 4 hours Deathly Hallows Part 2 Red Carpet Premier. AND OH HELLO Alan Rickman. Hopefully a spot of Gary Oldman soon, and my evening will be complete!
I am shocked when I read that so many people seem to hate Alfonso Cuáron. reason ? " He ruined Harry Potter" and " from the 3th movie we haven't had a good potter movie anymore thanks to Cuáron" and " In the 3th we haven't seen the Marauders" and " If he comes back to direct fantastic beasts than probably I will not go to see it" Well to those haters I want to say the next. The first two were beautiful but more for children. So Alfonso brought some darkness into the story and he had the right balance. He brought us more great actors like Gary Oldman, Emma Thompson, David Thewlis, Michael Gambon and Timothy Spall. Also he spend a lot of time creating Buckbeak. So azkaban is a lot about beasts he is the best choice for directing the upcoming movies. and you haters forget that you can't have everything from the book in the movie. The third book was not about only the marauders, it was im portant but not it's whole story if you want their story in a movie ? Than they should make a film about them. But Azkab ...
Between roles in Batman and Harry Potter, Gary Oldman has played both James and Sirius :-D .
Maybe I'm the only one who cares but, Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, will be featured in a new TNT series, Murder in the First Degree. Playing, of course, a villain. Nice to see most of the HP cast going on to bigger things. Emma Watson in the film, Noah with Russell Crowe, Daniel Radcliff doing lots of Broadway stuff, Tom Felton in this new series. I hope to see Rupert Grint appearing in something new as well. Of course, Gary Oldman, Ralph Feinnes and Emma Thompson are always working. Nice work Potter kids!
I watched the Fifth Element again. It was a long time before I realized that was Gary Oldman as Zorg. Of course he played Sirius Black in Harry Potter. Batman, ..what else?
Today is 56th birthday of Gary Oldman as Sirius Black in Harry Potter! What an attractive guy he is!
I suggest Gary Oldman, the man looks different in every role; Sirius Black in Harry Potter, Zorg in The Fifth Element...
Gary Oldman linked to 'Star Wars: Episode VII' Posted: 02/07/2014 11:36:17 AM PST Gary Oldman has joined the long conga line of actors up for roles in the next "Star Wars" film. The British actor, who has recently appeared in other blockbusters such as the Harry Potter and The Dark Knight films, told Sky Movies he has talked with producers about appearing in "Star Wars: Episode VII." "They've called," said Oldman. "You know, I'm more cynical about it now. I'll believe it when I'm on the plane home. The deal isn't done, but yeah, they've inquired. I mean Planet Of The Apes, Harry Potter, Batman, and Star Wars ... bloody *** " Right -- he's had a semi-decent career. "Star Wars: Episode VII" is slated to open Dec. 18, 2015, with shooting due to begin later this year at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire. Just about every actor on the planet has been linked to the film, including Judi Dench, Saoirse Ronan, Michael B Jordan, Benedict Cumberbatch and Zac Efron. It's also been widely reported that original c .. ...
I had no IDEA Gary Oldman was Sirius Black in Harry Potter lmao.
You may not have expected it 10 years ago, but Gary Oldman has kind of become the king of the big-budget franchise movie. Now, anytime I think about Sirius Black, I can only imagine Oldman. The same goes for Commissioner Gordon. But in 2014, he has already done “Batman.” He did “Harry Potter.” There...
One of life's little joys is figuring out that this famous so-and-so acted in this and that and also played a voice role in one of your favorite movies. Example: Kevin Spacey whom I could not place until now, was Lex Luthor in Superman Returns and voiced Hopper in A Bug's Life. Gary Oldman is also a good example, since he's such a chameleon with his roles. He was Lee Harvey Oswald in JFK, Dracula in Dracula, Ruber in Quest for Camelot (!!!), Sirius Black in Harry Potter, Ignitus in Spyro: A New Beginning the video game (plus its sequels), and the newest Batman movies as Jim Gordon. A chameleon I say!!
Sirius Black is a gothic type of character in Harry Potter the Order of the Phoenix that Gary Oldman fitted perfectly.
MY FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL-TIME! Now playing "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" - Part 2 - Directed by David Yates - Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint & Emma Watson - Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Warwick Davis, Ralph Fiennes, Michael Gambon, Jason Isaacs, Gary Oldman, Alan Rickman, Maggie Smith, David Thewlis and Julie Walters. 3 Academy Awards® nominee including Best Visual Effects. It All Ends Here. "I shall kill every last man, woman and child who tries to conceal you from me." - Lord Voldemort AFI - Special Award: "Harry Potter" series marks the final triumphant chapter of a landmark series; eight films that earned the trust of a generation who wished for the beloved books of J.K. Rowling to come to life on the silver screen. The collective wizardry of an epic ensemble gave us the gift of growing older with Harry, Ron and Hermione as the magic of Hogwarts sprung from the films and into the hearts and minds of Muggles around the world.
I just found out Gary Oldman played Sirius Black in the Harry Potter movie. Now he is the most underrated actor. Dude has skills. So many roles you wouldn't know he played
Gary Oldman tells a story about working with his son Alfie on the set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Foto: mrdubledore: Gary Oldman and David Thewlis in the cast of Harry Potter.
Casting was phenomenal in the Harry Potter movies, especially Gary Oldman as Sirius Black
Gary Oldman loves to read, he is a Harry Potter fan,
Jeff McComsey gave me Gary Oldman: Movie I LIKE: The Fifth Element Movie I LOVE: Bram Stoker's Dracula Movie I HATE: Red Riding Hood Movie I HATE that I LOVE: Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban (well, not love, but I like it.) Like and I'll give you an actor.
Assigned actor (via Susan Tiss): Gary Oldman "I like these calm little moments before the storm. It reminds me of Beethoven. Can you hear it? It's like when you put your head to the grass and you can hear the growin' and you can hear the insects. Do you like Beethoven?" Movie I loved: Léon: The Professional, Sid and Nancy Movie I liked: True Romance, Basquiat (I also love these, but his roles were less significant) Movie I hate: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (don't actually "hate," but least "like" of all the movies I've seen him in) Movie I hate to like: Bram Stoker's Dracula Like this post and I will give you an actor.
I have a Bacon number of 4. Dan Shipman and Bradley Walsh appeared in The Chase. Bradley Walsh and Rupert Grint appeared in Wartime Wanderers. Rupert Grint and Gary Oldman appeared in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Gary Oldman and Kevin Bacon appeared in Criminal Law. BOOM!
Who is your favorite Harry Potter actror or actress? Mine would most likely be Evanna Lynch, Emma Watson, Imelda Staunton, Gary Oldman, Ralph Fiennes, and Alan Rickman. ~Rumbleroar
My hair looked like Gary Oldman's in the Harry Potter movies for my entire freshman year at LEAST. Probably a bit of sophomore year too
John Mcenroe was desperate to play Harry Potter's godfather in the films. You can imagine what he said to Gary Oldman.
Only now have I realised that Gary Oldman plays Sirius Black in Harry Potter film
Let it be known that Harry Potter films are filled w/ actors who slay the craft: Dame Maggie Smith, Fiona Shaw, Gary Oldman, Alan Rickman...
Gary Oldman as Sirius Black, awesomeness. Finally re-watching the Harry Potter films.
Ahh, March, possibly my best month of 2012 for this hobby, the Jennifer Lawrence lovestory, trying to compose myself seeing Bob Geldof at Cafe Nero (I failed), football fanboying over Eric Cantona, thinking "bloody *** Gary Oldman's just posed for a photo with me", and getting lost in Watford trying to meet some Harry Potter legends. If this March is only a tenth as exciting it will be pretty awesome!
In watching my BBC Sherlock eps for the billionth time, I had this random thought that it was too bad Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman were not more well known ten years ago when they were casting two of my favorite Harry Potter characters when adapting my favorite Harry Potter (or that the producers were trying to cast well-known actors to play the adult roles). Marty & Benny would have been great mauraders. Gary Oldman and David Thewis weren't bad, they just didn't really capture those qualities in Sirius and Lupin readers loved so much, IMO. Just a random thought...

Deathly Hallows part 2 wins "Best Film" at Empire Awards: Daniel Radcliffe's video message I had not posted thhos before becouse I waited for Empire to upload the video od Daniel's acceptance (which is added below), but Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows part 2 won Best Film at the Jameson Empire Awards this past Sunday also David Yates won best director for Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows part 2 (Daniel did not won best actor, but Gary Oldman did, he is probably also happy for that) Evanna Lunch, David Yates, Bonnie Wright, Jamine Canibell Bouer, Gary Oldman, Helena Bonham Carter & Mattew Lewis did attend the event. Daniel couldn't be there becouse of filming Kill Your Darlings, but see his video mesage below. Hear's another part of what he said: "I'd like to thank the Empire readers for voting for us. I've always been quite a harsh judge of the series, but I was over the moon with this final film; I think we went out ona high note."
let's have a think about all the actors that are in Harry Potter... Alan Rickman, Gary Oldman, Helena Bonham Carter, Maggie Smith
Harry Potter world tomorrow- eeep so excited- sorry Misha but if Gary Oldman or Jason Isaacs is there I'm not coming home :P
Ok, I've seen memes about all the roles actors like Johnny Depp Liam Neeson have played...has ANYbody done Gary Oldman? I mean, the commissioner in the new Batman series, Sirius Black in Harry Potter, he's the voice of Viktor Reznov and Dr. Clarke in the Call of Duty games AND he directed feature video about Jack White?! Like, WHAT.
Nerd alert! I just found out that Gary Oldman who you may know as Commissioner Gordon from the Dark Knight Trilogy is Sirius Black in the Harry Potter movies? He plays two great characters in two amazing movies. I don't know how I never realized this!
Who knew Gary Oldman played Sirius Black in Harry Potter! Not me clearly. Still prefer him as Commissioner Gordon though.
Found out today that Mo from Eastenders is Gary Oldman's (Sirius Black from Harry Potter) sister o_o
Jesus, just found out their that Gary Oldman, was Sirius Black in Harry Potter. The man looks siriusly different without glass.
It's always fun to go to IMDB and look up a random movie character to see who played them and seeing what other movies that person has been in that you were never fully aware of. Example: Gary Oldman. Some of his credits: Robert Norton in "RoboCop" (2014 (yes, a RoboCop remake that also features Samuel L. Jackson as Pat Novak. Awesome!)), Commissioner Gordon in "The Dark Knight", Sirius Black in "Harry Potter", Viktor Reznov in "COD: Black Ops" and "World at War", Carnegie in "The Book of Eli", Dr. Smith in "Lost In Space" and Zorg in "The Fifth Element". And those are just the ones I recognize the most! Gary Oldman is more awesome than I previously realized.
Savvy: "He's voiced by Gary Oldman." CJ: "Who's that?" Savvy: "He played Sirius Black in Harry Potter." CJ: "Is he that short little black guy?" . CJ: "Oh no wait. That's Gary Coleman." Y'all, Sirius Black portrayed by Gary Coleman.
Find out what Gary Oldman was doing long before Harry Potter and the Dark Knight! Amazing, powerful, tragic performances.
"Harry Potter & the Half-assed Prince" is on - the books were loads better than the movies. Yes, I read em all, saw em all...The movies arent awful, but while the actors mostly "look" the part, but they're mostly ok, sans the older actors, Maggie Smith, Gary Oldman, Alan Rickman etc - but its hard to rise above "average" dialogue...
Well the Sacco house is now the Sick(o) house! Everyone has this f'n cold. So today I'm taken it easy and doing research, and by research I mean chillen on the couch watching my Gary Oldman collection! True Romance, 5th Element, Dark Night, even Harry Potter! Any other suggestions?
I used to love Halloween. I still love Halloween but lately wondered why I haven't been that excited by it. I asked myself why? Is it that the child in me is slowly fading away? And then I realized why. Every Halloween I would dress up as some guy. George Michael, Elvis Presley, Bram Stoker's Dracula (Gary Oldman), Hannibal Lecter, Harry Potter,etc... But now...I AM A GUY! So now what? Drag? Hm. I wonder.
Why did I not realise Gary Oldman played Sirius Black in Harry Potter?
I could watch the whole Harry Potter series again, just to watch Alan Rickman. And a little bit of Gary Oldman too. Confession. I am.
I never known that Gary Oldman played Sirius Black. Smfh. I don't even feel like a Harry Potter fan anymore 😒
That awkward moment when you realize you kinda look like Gary Oldman (esp. in Harry Potter or Bram Stoker's Dracula)
Ok everybody please leave your guns in the cabinet, I just realized that Gary Oldman was in Harry Potter and that Orlando Bloom from Pirates Of The Caribbean is in Lord Of The Rings. (dodges gunfire)
Lawless was a great Drama/Suspense/Thriller movie with its funny moments. Tom Hardy (Forrest Bondurant) was an immortal beast in the movie. His character really had my cousins and I dying of laughter too. Shia Labeouf (Jack Bondurant) did a great performance, as usual. Jason Clarke (Howard Bondurant) was just a straight up monster. Other than that, I loved seeing my nikka Gary Oldman (Floyd Banner) as a boss in the movie. He was amazing in The Dark Knight Trilogy, The Harry Potter Series, and now in Lawless.
Imagine Denzel Washington, with Gary Oldman (Commissioner Gordon from Batman), Frances de la Tour (Madame Maxime from Harry Potter), and Mila Kunis (Jackie from That 70's Show) in a post-apocalyptic setting doing things like shooting people, slicing off heads and limbs, resorting to cannibalism, getting shot at, blowing up houses and cars, and just being badass in general. The Book of Eli is a pretty awesome movie. Now imagine them doing that, but in their other roles...
"The Dark Knight", "Kung Fu Panda 2", "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban", "Lawless". Seriously, is there no end to Gary Oldman's awesomeness?!
Kristen Stewart Offered Akira Source: Twitch November 15, 2011 The live-action take on Katsuhiro Otomo's classic manga moving forward, Akira may have found its Kei. Twitch reports that The Twilight Saga star Kristen Stewart has been offered to play the female lead. Stewart joins a bevy of talent said to be up for roles, including Garrett Hedlund in the leading role of Kaneda, Gary Oldman as the Colonel and both Helena Bonham Carter and Keira Knightley for undisclosed roles (Potentially Knightley could be up for Kei as well). The Kei character is the romantic interest of Kaneda, a member of a biker gang in a cyberpunk dystopia. Jaume Collet-Serra (Unknown) is set to direct with a script from "Harry Potter" screenwriter Steve Kloves. Previously, Akira was famously adapted as an anime film in 1988, although this take on the story is said to transplant the action from "Neo-Tokyo" to "New Manhattan."
The man who played Sirius Black in the Harry Potter movies, Gary Oldman, also played Commissioner Gordon in the Dark Knight series.
First time in some time I saw two films in one day at the theaters. I saw both Resident Evil: Retribution and Lawless. Surprisingly Lawless was a much better film then I had originally expected it to be. The film stars Tom Hardy, Shia Labeouf, Gary Oldman and Guy Pearce. The screen play is written by Australian Rock star Nick Cave (whose music "O' Children" can be heard in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 1) and directed by John Hillcoat who directed the post-apocalyptic film "The Road" (starring Viggo Mortenson) and the masterful Australian Outback film "The Proposition" (which starred Guy Pearce). The acting by Guy Pearce was unbelievable, easily the best part of the film and while the story follows very closely to its novel counterpart "The Wettest County in The World", you can feel that the story strains itself and the middle portion of the film dragged quite a bit. Now for Resident Evil: Retribution well what can I say about this film, its the fifth film in the never ending franchise and whi ...
Only just realised that Sirius Black is Gary Oldman, he really is amazing! Harry Potter's cast is just incredible
Congratulations to Warner Bros. as The Dark Knight Rises has now made over $1 Billion worldwide. Batman is the second franchise besides Pirates of the Caribbean to have 2 movies make $1 Billion. Gary Oldman joins Johnny Depp as the second actor to have 3 films make $1 Billion (2 Batman films and the last Harry Potter film)
Dear Graham Martin, I have officially christened the drinking game that I invited as Oldman's Ball. I named it after Gary Oldman, a famous actor and alcoholic. During the filming of the later Harry Potter films, he introduced Daniel Radcliffe to drinking. It was noted that Daniel was drunk on set several times because of Gary Oldman.
I just realized Gary Oldman plays Commissioner Gordon AND is Sirius Black from the Harry Potter movies. Mind. Blown.
I just realized Gary Oldman (Commissioner Gordan) is Sirius Black from Harry Potter.
"Get away from my godson!" - Sirius Black, then he punches Lucius Malfoy, this is why I love Harry Potter 5 and Gary Oldman :) x
Holy Moly went to the Jameson Empire Film Awards and had an ace time talking to Tom Felton from Harry Potter and Gary Oldman, also from Harry Potter. Be warn...
So I may be behind the times on this one but, Gary Oldman is an insanely good actor. Pulp Fiction,Harry Potter, The Batman trilogy the list goes on...
Gary Oldman played Commissioner Gordon in Batman, Sirius Black in Harry Potter, and was the voice of Reznov in Black Ops
Watching "The Fifth Element" on the sci-fi channel... it's a testament to how good an actor Gary Oldman is... he's so evil as Zorg, but then to think he's Sirius Black in the Harry Potter movies - it's such a contrast.
**Rights belong to CNN** Gary Oldman answers fan's questions about Harry Potter, David Bowie, accents, and... morphing into animals.
there was one other movie Gary Oldman and Michael Gambon filmed together aside from Harry Potter: The Book of Eli
It's bad enough I felt my heart was about to be ripped off when Gary Oldman acted out Sirius Black's death scene in Harry Potter.
Alan Rickman and Gary Oldman are actually two of the best actors on the planet and they both played HUGE roles in Harry Potter okay okay
Gary Oldman is the Harrison Ford of our generation. Harry Potter and Batman > Star Wars and Indiana Jones. Yeah...i said it.
Yes, this is Gary Oldman...for those of you who don't know who that is think Sirius Black in Harry Potter...Dracula in Bram Stoker's Dracula.just shows how much of an AMAZING actor he is.would never have pictured him doing this (lots of voilence and language so don't watch if you get offended by these things)
Thought I saw Minister Fudge in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. Immediately paused to confirm on IMDB with the excited thought, "I've got Benedict Cumberbatch to Harry Potter!" Then stopped because Gary Oldman. What even.
As the Harry Potter faithful know, Padfoot is the animal form occasionally taken by Sirius Black, Harry Potter's godfather played by Gary Oldman. Berry played a small role in the movie, but Sirius's dog form is much more important than the books, meaning that even though you saw very little of Berry...
DoctorHu I love watching Harry Potter so much. I have Gary Oldman, Alan Rickman, Jason Isaacs, David
We´re ready! We´re so ready for this! Evanna Lynch, aka Luna Lovegood, and Gary Oldman, aka Sirius Black, are joining forces again for a movie called Monster Butler! Oh, and the...
Evanna Lynch, best known for portraying Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter films, has joined the cast of Monster Butler, the indie crime thriller starring Malcolm McDowell. Gary Oldman, Dominic Monaghan, and Joanne Whalley are also in the movie, which tells the true story of Roy Fontaine, aka Archib...
Is it weird that I find Gary Oldman (Commissioner Gorden in the Dark Knight and Sirius Black in Harry Potter) to be extremely sexy
Okay. Harry Potter should get best cast. Ralph Fiennes, Alan Rickman, Gary Oldman, Maggie Smith, these guys are LEGENDS.
I'll only to go the Harry Potter exhibition if David Thewlis or Gary Oldman drops by.
are you as upset as me because Harry Potter never won an Oscar? Alan Rickman, Gary Oldman and Helena Bonham Carter deserved 1!
You've seen him play tag-team partner to Batman and Harry Potter, now Gary Oldman will help RoboCop kick *** in Old Detroit. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Oldman has joined the cast of Jose Padilha's RoboCop remake, which stars Joel Kinnaman (The Killing) as Officer Alex J. Murphy, a man resu...
Just found out that Gary Oldman plays Zorg (the antagonist from the Fifth Element), Commissioner Gordon from the Dark Knight, AND Sirius Black from Harry Potter. W.T.F.
I can't believe people exist that find Harry Potter lame. Especially the movies. I think we all know Gary Oldman would never participate in something lame, and neither would Alan Rickman. Sheesh!
It's so weird to me when they refer to Alan Rickman, Dame Maggie Smith, Gary Oldman, etc as "Harry Potter actor."
Gary Oldman (born 21 March 1958) is an English screen and stage actor, filmmaker and musician. A former member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, Oldman has garnered widespread critical and peer respect as a screen actor he appeared in Air Force 1 (1997) and Harry Potter series, if you ever google GARY OLDMAN for pete's sakes don't forget the 'R'.

Gary Oldman, who played George Smiley in Tinker, Tailor, also played Sirius Black in the Harry Potter films? Never would've guessed!

...the son of Richard Harris, who starred in the Harry Potter series, as did Gary Oldman, who is unfairly overlooked, just like Tesla.
Two things Alfonso Cuaron has done to earn my eternal goodwill: casting Gary Oldman and David Thewlis in a Harry Potter movie;
18. I'll love you if: You like Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Sherlock Holmes and my obsession with Gary Oldman.
The days Harry Potter marathon brought Kenneth Branagh and Gary Oldman to Hogwarts
I'd have sex with Gary Oldman as Drexel in True Romance and Sirius Black in Harry Potter and Sid in Sid and Nancy and just as Gary Oldman.
Gary Oldman's versatility : Eccentric Sirius Black in Harry Potter to the restrained George Smiley in Tinker Tailor. Genius.
