Gregg Marshall (born February 27, 1963) is an American college basketball coach who currently leads the Wichita State Shockers men's basketball team of Wichita State University (WSU). Bill (Billy) Self (born December 27, 1962) is an American college men's basketball coach at the University of Kansas, where he led the Jayhawks to the 2008 NCAA national championship. /5
I just took Wichita Business Journal's "Gregg Marshall or Bill Self: Who said this about success?" quiz and got 8/10.
Bill Self won't play anyone anywhere as he wont play Gregg Marshall.
Bill Self, Bruce Webber, Gregg Marshall, Tom Crean, Greg McDermott, etc. at the tournament today so that's pretty neat🏀
The NCAA stacked the deck against the Shockers. Gregg Marshall busted on the first card. Bill Self gambled, going all in by not playing Joel Embiid and lost everything right at the start of the tourney. I'm not going to Vegas this either of these guys and their luck. Although, I know what Bill Self was doing, protecting his long term recruiting advantage by clearly putting a message out there to all future recruits and their parents. I'm not going to jeopardize your multi-million dollar future for one game, even in the NCAA Tournament. That will keep those high level recruits, Big 12 Championships and chances at the NCAA Tourney crap shot coming. That's why Bill Self is the Master Recruiter, or. why Jim Weller is the master over-analyzer. lol.
Coach K, Williams, Gregg Marshall, Shaka Smart, Bill Self, Boeheim, Matta, & Wright all out. CBS pregame is going to be crowded.
*Calls Bill Self* "Wichita State coach Gregg Marshall, "To anyone complaining about our schedule - call us. We'll put you on it.""
Bill Self isn't afraid to play you Gregg Marshall. He'd rather play better teams like Duke, SDSU, Florida. Each team has great coaches.
Hear from Bill Self on the Jayhawks weekend matchup vs TCU. Plus, Gregg Marshall on the Shockers 20-0 start tomorrow from 6-9 am on 1410.

The hoops coaches from WSU (Gregg Marshall), K-State (Bruce Weber), and KU (Bill Self) have joined forces in the new Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters BFKS Coaches Challenge…GO BIG OR GO HOME! Let’s hear it for the kids…GO BIG OR GO HOME!
Gregg Marshall is already on the phone with Bill Self asking him what they need to do to beat Ohio State!
Gregg Marshall was on the Tim Brando radio show recently and said he had offered Bill Self a deal for the two schools to play. Once at the Sprint Center Once at Allen Fieldhouse Once at Intrust Bank Arena KU escapes stepping foot into the legendary loudness of Koch Arena. I think that's MORE than fair.
