Golden State Warriors are 17-2, best record in the NBA! 12th straight wins! San Jose Sharks are going to playoffs. This is our year! San Francisco Giants are a Dyansty with 3 World Series rings in the past 5 years. San Francisco 49ers: The team is still in it for that playoff birth! Raiders are the worst team in the NFL and A's can't pass the first round, Raiders should move to L.A or elsewhere! - Why does Oakland even have teams? Nobody has it better then the Bay Area!
Golden State Warriors will almost certainly be renamed San Francisco Warriors (new logos also use black).
Resurrecting my post from a year ago: I offer the following list of professional sports team names that should also be changed, just to keep things fair. If I entered into the college realm this would turn into a book. * Detroit Pistons: How can anyone name their team after a key component of evil carbon-burning machines? * Golden State Warriors: Promoting violence, mocking native Americans. * Houston Rockets: NASA is dead, and rockets kill people. * Miami Heat: Don’t promote global warming!!! Al Roker might blame them for Superstorm Sandy. * Philadelphia 76ers: Why promote terrorist revolutionaries? * Sacramento Kings: Promotes the 1%. The fix? Change the name to Obamas. * Kansas City Chiefs: Obviously hateful, chief. * Cleveland Browns: That’s just racist. You might as well call them the Cleveland You People. * Oakland Raiders: More violence. * Minnesota Vikings: They pillaged and burned. Bad role model. * Tampa Bay Buccaneers: More stealing and violence. * San Francisco 49ers: Promoting gold-diggin ...
Golden State Warriors new head coach Steve Kerr is in the building. Catch Yahoo! SportsTalk Live's sit down interview with him following the San Francisco Giants game
I am really upset with my Golden State Warriors right now. How can you fire a coach who has brought the team back from the wilderness of two decades and now he is gone? I guess he wasn't cosmopolitan enough for their move to San Francisco.

PORTLAND, Ore. -- The trash talking between the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors has started -- even before their first-round playoff series became official late Wednesday night. Earlier in the day, Warriors guard Klay Thompson called Clippers forward Blake Griffin out for flopping and playing "kind of out of control sometimes." "He is a good guy off the court but he probably just ... I mean ... plays pretty physical and flops a little bit," Thompson told The Wheelhouse on 95.7 The Game radio in San Francisco. "He flairs his arm around so you know you might catch a random elbow or something that doesn't you know rub off too well on guys," Thompson said. "He's kind of like a bull in a china shop, kind of out of control sometimes. And then you do just see him flop sometimes like how can a guy that big and strong flop that much. "I can see how that gets under people's skin and be frustrating to play against." The bad blood between the Clippers and Warriors has been brewing over the past two sea ...

After Giants Win Title, Niners Getting Their Shot by THE ASSOCIATED PRESS January 21, 2013 SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — When Jim Harbaugh and Alex Smith drove in the Giants' victory parade last fall, players on San Francisco's championship baseball team hoped they might be able to return the favor if the 49ers could win it all a few months later. Now, the Giants might just get that very chance with the NFC champion Niners headed to New Orleans to face the Baltimore Ravens in the Super Bowl on Feb. 3. Titletown USA very well could be moving out West — and soon. "For sure!" Giants general manager Brian Sabean said Sunday night. San Francisco is trying to become the first market to win a World Series and Super Bowl in the same season since the Boston Red Sox accomplished it in 2004 and the New England Patriots followed suit in February 2005. What's more, even the NBA's Golden State Warriors are giving Bay Area fans an awful lot to cheer and hopes of a playoff season. The 49ers beat Atlanta and made it this far w ...

San Francisco (AP) - The Golden State Warriors on Sunday announced the architecture team chosen to design a new sports and entertainment complex in San Francisco for the team. The team is now in the final stage of negotiating an agreement with the multi-national collaborative Snohetta and the Fortune 500 firm AECOM, officials said. Snohetta has worked on projects including the SFMOMA expansion, the redesign of Times Square in New York City, the new National Opera in Oslo and the new Museum at the World Trade Center site. AECOM has experience designing sports facilities, team officials said. "We want to build a venue that is not only innovative by today or tomorrow's standards, but that will stand the test of time and befits the importance of the location," said Peter Guber, co-executive chairman of the Warriors. "Great cities have great buildings in great locations," Guber added. "San Francisco is a great city." The Warriors, who have a lease at Oracle Arena in Oakland through 2017, announced in May that ...

Good Morning sports fans! The Red Sox fell in Baltimore 4-1 last night, with Doubront taking the loss and Jim Johnson of the O's picking up The save for the Orioles. Meanwhile, the Heat routed the Pacers last night thanks, in huge part again, to LeBron and D-Wade's efforts. They'll have a chance to close out the series tomorrow night in Indiana. The Celtics have a chance to close out their series tonight when they visit Philly for Game 6 (7PM on either ESPN or TNT). And finally, the Golden State Warriors will call San Francisco their home starting in 2017 after their lease in Oakland expires. Now, sports fans, my question to you is: Should Manny return to the Sox? Please comment on this post to voice your opinion. Have a good day all!

OAKLAND -- San Francisco has stepped up its campaign to lure the Golden State Warriors, potentially complicating Oakland's effort to turn the Coliseum area into a sports and entertainment megaplex with new facilities for its three professional teams. In a Friday meeting with team owner Joe Lacob, San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee presented a letter signed by city supervisors, business leaders and state representatives, pitching the San Francisco waterfront as a "spectacular opportunity for a state-of-the-art sports and entertainment facility." The Warriors, who moved from San Francisco to Oakland in 1971, had previously considered a proposed arena site near AT&T Park, but now are reported to be interested in financing an arena on piers adjacent to the Bay Bridge. A return to San Francisco would place the team closer to major Bay Area corporations that could afford high-priced luxury suites. Say hello to the: Los Angeles Raiders San Jose Atheletics San Francisco Warriors
This would be awesome: San Francisco trying to woo Warriors - City leaders in San Francisco are courting the Golden State Warriors, trying to woo the NBA team back to the City by the Bay within five years.
