THROWBACK SATURDAY: Jermaine O'neal In 1996 Jermaine O'Neal was drafted in the first round, 17th overall to the Portland Trail Blazers and he was the youngest to ever play in a NBA game at 18yrs old. O'neal didn't play much in Portland and for the most part rode the bench. In 2000 the Indiana Pacers finally made it to the NBA FINALS but lost in 6 to the Lakers. After that Mark Jackson, Ric Smits and chris mullin moved on. Then the Pacers trade Dale Davis for Jermaine o'neal. J.O played for the Pacers for 8 years and was a 6x NBA ALL STAR, 2002 MIP. All NBA Second team (04), 2x ALL NBA third team (02,03) and a career high of 55 points against the bucks. He is 35yrs old and is currently playing for the Golden State Warriors

Sometimes we mistake our Platform for our purpose which creates a lot of problems in our lives. How we go about using our platform should be influenced by our purpose and not the other way around. Once you understand your purpose how to use your platform becomes clear!

Superstar LA Clippers PF Blake Griffin should have never been ejected against the Golden State Warriors on Christmas Day and it affected the Clippers the rest of way and ended up losing that ball game. Well since that ejection, Griffin has been on a tear, scoring 35 points and grabbing 11 rebounds against the Portland Trail Blazers in a 116-112 overtime loss. This time though, Griffin was able to feel much more accomplished that his team was able to get the victory at home against the Jazz. PF Blake Griffin scored 40 points while shooting 13-20 from the field, along with 3 assists, 10 rebounds and 14-17 from the free-throw line. PG Chris Paul scored 21 points while shooting 8-16 from the field, 5 steals, 9 assists, 10 rebounds and 5-6 from the free-throw line. Griffin has always had trouble with his outside shooting, and the Jazz left him open so many times, that Griffin made them pay by knocking down those key jumpers for LA. Griffin was very aggressive last night, using his athleticism to get right to b ...
If you saw the warrior game against the blazers; this is what NBA had to officially say: " Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut and Portland Trail Blazers guard Mo Williams have each been suspended one game without pay for fighting after Bogut initiated an incident by elbowing Trail Blazers center Joel Freeland in the jaw. In addition, for escalating the incident, Portland forward LaMarcus Aldridge has been fined $45,000, and Portland guard Wesley Matthews and Golden State forward Draymond Green have been fined $20,000 each. The incident occurred with 3:42 remaining in the third quarter of the Trail Blazers' 113-101 win over the Warriors on Saturday, Nov. 23 at Oracle Arena."
The NBA season is about to start. Which San Francisco Bay Area Pro-Am player are you watching this year to breakout? Important Years For Dirk, Aldridge, Love The middle of the Western Conference might be the most interesting storyline of the regular season. Six teams -- the San Antonio Spurs, Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors -- seem to have separated themselves from the pack, leaving only two playoff spots available. A postseason appearance is particularly important for the Dallas Mavericks, Portland Trail Blazers and Minnesota Timberwolves, three franchises trying to keep an All-Star power forward in town. Barring injuries to a top team, there won't be lifeboats for all of them. Dirk Nowitzki, LaMarcus Aldridge and Kevin Love are too good to be annually missing the playoffs. Last season, injuries were the culprit for Nowitzki and Love, as their teams fell apart without them. Aldridge, meanwhile, was a good soldier on a team bringing along two lottery picks. As they move closer to the end of their contracts, the stakes are getting higher. With All- ...

Lakers News: Lakers Rejected Warriors Overtures For Pau Gasol Trade By Ross Gasmer| July 1, 2013| As free agency got underway last night, the Golden State Warriors made it known that they were looking to trade All-Star forward David Lee. Lee injured himself during the Warriors run in the playoffs and they attempted to trade him to the Portland Trail Blazers for LaMarcus Aldridge and Toronto Raptors for Andrea Bargnani, but were turned away. However, according to Tim Kawakami of the San Jose Mercury Mercury News, the Warriors reached out to the Lakers last season about a trade for Pau Gasol: “For instance, I’m told that last season the Warriors were quickly rebuffed after hypothetically asking the Lakers about a Lee-for-Pau Gasol deal.” Gasol is in the last year of his contract and it sounds like the Lakers are ready to let it expire or depending on what Free Agent Dwight Howard does, they could look to trade him. Lee has four years left on his contract and since the Lakers want to have as much cap f ...
Here are today's Must-See Matchups: -Indiana Pacers at Brooklyn Nets- Two of the better teams in the East go head-to-head in a few minutes. Paul George has been very impressive this season, while Olympian Deron Williams has played like all Olympians should. -Golden State Warriors at Denver Nuggets- The duo of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson will matchup with Ty Lawson and Andre Igoudala. The bench will be important for the Warriors, and the frontcourt will be vital for the Nuggets. -OKC Thunder at Portland Trail Blazers- Rookie sensation Damian Lillard will be against elite guard Russel Westbrook. Both teams are well-rounded offensively and defensively, which should make this game interesting. -Jordan23

Back in March of the 2011-12 NBA season, the Golden State Warriors were looking to possible claim former Sacramento Kings forward J.J. Hickson. Assuming that they could bring in Hickson for the rest of the season for a cheap price, the Portland Trail Blazers instead claimed his services for the rest...
"Taking my advice of Buying Low and Selling High, I am very pleased the Golden State Warriors are in serious talks yet again with Big Man J.J. Hickson (yes, the same J.J. who the Cleveland Cavaliers wouldn't trade for Amar'e Stoudemire year's ago) after losing out on him last year when the Portland Trail Blazers stepped in and claimed him before he cleared waivers from his release from the Sacramento Kings. Even though I like Big Man David Lee, he needs somebody to toughen him up, compete with him for his starting power forward spot and take some of the burden of him from playing so many minutes at center (when the Warriors play small ball). Speaking of players team's foolishly wouldn't trade for Amar'e, the Warriors have decided not offer Stephen Curry an extension since he has ankle sprain issues the last two years. Initially I liked that but then I thought, hey the Warriors are still trying to trade for the best center in the NBA, Dwight Howard, even though he just said he only wants to go to the Br ...
