When my Golden State Warriors traded David Lee for Gerald Wallace my first reaction was Gerald Wallace still plays basketball??!?
Golden State Warriors need to play David Lee and isolate Curry to play one on one against Dellavedova.
Serge Ibaka is going to meet up with these teams this month. - New York Knicks - Chicago Bulls - Golden State Warriors The trades for Serge Ibaka for Knicks is they give up - J.R smith and Tim Hardaway For Chicago Bulls if he join they will give up - Tony Snell and Jimmy Bulter For Golden State Warriors if he go there they will give up - Andrew Bogut or David Lee. If his decision is not good to be apart on these teams he will re-sign with the Oklahoma City Thunder
Now the dirt is coming out concerning Mark Jackson's firing by the Golden State Warriors, According the Chris Broussard there was some friction between Jackson and the team owner, some players felt Jackson showed favoritism to Steph,Klay and others(who they are is anybodies guess) and get this they want a more fluid offense. First let me say saying Jackson and the team owner had fiction between each other is a wide area and giving no real example of it is in my opinion is BS, (2) what coach on any level treats every player the same? Are you kidding me, bench player's are now contributing to getting coaches fired? A more fluid offense? I thought this league was about the best players having the most opportunity to be the best and Curry and Thompson are the best player's on the team and thinking they had a chance with David Lee at center please. Golden State as a team went as far as their talent could take them and besides all I'm hearing is BS and if these issues were so bad why only now are we hearing abo ...
LA Clippers Turkoglu out with back injury for Game 6. Los Angeles Clippers reserve forward Hedo Turkoglu will not play in Game 6 against the Golden State Warriors because of a lower back injury. Clippers coach Doc Rivers said after the team's morning shootaround that Turkoglu is ''not doing well enough'' to play in Thursday night's game. Turkoglu injured his back in the third quarter of the Clippers' 113-103 win over the Warriors on Tuesday night in Los Angeles. Turkoglu was defending David Lee when he was knocked to the ground. Lee picked up an offensive foul on the play. Turkoglu lay writhing in pain during a timeout before being helped to the locker room. The 35-year-old veteran is averaging 3.2 points and one rebound in 8.2 minutes per game in the series.

One word to describe Stephen Curry? Overrated. The man averages a league-high 4 turnovers per game. His assist to turnover ratio is a little over 2/1, which is awful. His usage percentage (amount of times he touches the ball per game excluding bringing the ball up the court) is over 35%, more then guys like Durant or Love who carry their respective teams. His efficiency rating is 23.9. Efficiency rating shows exactly how much a player means to a team and takes all stats in retrospective instead of just points or assists. Let me point out the fact that Josh Smith's efficiency rating (this season) is 21.1. Josh Smith is having a terrible year- if you look at his stats all of his numbers have dropped except turnovers and blocks. Now, Curry doesn't carry the Golden State Warriors. They have David Lee, a top 10 possibly even top 5 NBA in position Power Forward. Then there's Klay Thompson, one of the best shooters in the NBA and the SG with the highest TS(true shooting) %. They have all-star caliber talent in . ...
Warriors Bogut, Lee out for vs. Bulls - Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut and power forward David Lee sat out with injuries against the Chicago Bulls, who were without big man Carlos Boozer.
I think Golden State Warriors are one of my favorite teams. Because of Stephen Curry and David Lee. They are team players like Pacers. I don't care if they wouldn't make it to Finals!
Golden State Warriors @ Milwaukee Bucks . . . . . . A game of contrasts for the Warriors but they get the 101-80 win against the Bucks. The front-court of David Lee (22p/18r), Andre Iguodala (11p/7r/5a) and Andrew Bogut (8p/12r/3a) combined in 17-21 from the field and 3-3 from three, whilst Steph Curry (15p/6a/7to) and Klay Thompson (15p) had 11-36 from the field and 3-17 from three. Ersan Ilyasova had 20 points and six boards for the hosts, Brandon Knight had 18 points and four assists, OJ Mayo had 13 and Khris Middleton 10.
Raptors (6-11) 103, Warriors (11-8) 112 Thompson made four 3-pointers during the dramatic fourth, Stephen Curry added a pair of shots from beyond the arc down the stretch and the Golden State Warriors rallied from 27 points down in the second half to beat the Toronto Raptors 112-103 Tuesday night. Oracle Arena erupted at the final buzzer after being a den of silence for much of the game. Team owner Joe Lacob and general manager Bob Myers ducked into a private room and let out a loud shout while the Warriors celebrated the NBA's biggest comeback this season while jogging off the court. Thompson finished with 22 points and seven assists, nearly matching Curry's 27 and 10. David Lee added 18 points and eight rebounds for the Warriors.
Pacers, Warriors have six each on All-Star ballot The Indiana Pacers and Golden State Warriors each have a league-high six players on the NBA All-Star ballot released Friday. Indiana’s six are guards George Hill and Lance Stephenson and frontcourt players Paul George, Danny Granger, Roy Hibbert and David West. Granger has yet to play this season due to injury. Golden State’s six are guards Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson and frontcourt players Harrison Barnes, Andrew Bogut, Andre Iguodala and David Lee. Barnes is a sixth man. There is just one rookie on the ballot, and it’s not Philadelphia 76ers guard Michael Carter-Williams. It is Orlando Magic guard Victor Oladipo, who was the preseason choice of many media members for Rookie of the Year but does not start on his own team. The only teams with three guards are the Miami Heat and Los Angeles Clippers. Eight teams have five players. More significantly, 13 teams have just three, including the Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder. The 120 play ...
Iguodala lifts Warriors past Thunder, 116 Calif. (AP) -- Andre Iguodala made a baseline fadeaway as time expired to lift the Golden State Warriors to a thrilling 116-115 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night. Russell Westbrook's 3-pointer with 2.3 seconds remaining put the Thunder ahead after they trailed by 14 points early in the fourth quarter. Warriors coach Mark Jackson called a timeout to regroup, and David Lee inbounded the ball from near half court. Iguodala caught the ball and extended over Thabo Sefolosha for the winning shot, sending the announced sellout crowd of 19,596 into a frenzy. He sprinted toward half court and was mobbed by teammates. Iguodala finished with 14 points and nine assists. Golden State trailed for just 23 seconds combined in its first three home games. The Warriors held a lead in each game - against the Los Angeles Lakers, Sacramento Kings and Detroit Pistons - of at least 27 points and won by double digits. Not on this night. The game started with an outp ...

Lakers News: Lakers Rejected Warriors Overtures For Pau Gasol Trade By Ross Gasmer| July 1, 2013| As free agency got underway last night, the Golden State Warriors made it known that they were looking to trade All-Star forward David Lee. Lee injured himself during the Warriors run in the playoffs and they attempted to trade him to the Portland Trail Blazers for LaMarcus Aldridge and Toronto Raptors for Andrea Bargnani, but were turned away. However, according to Tim Kawakami of the San Jose Mercury Mercury News, the Warriors reached out to the Lakers last season about a trade for Pau Gasol: “For instance, I’m told that last season the Warriors were quickly rebuffed after hypothetically asking the Lakers about a Lee-for-Pau Gasol deal.” Gasol is in the last year of his contract and it sounds like the Lakers are ready to let it expire or depending on what free agent Dwight Howard does, they could look to trade him. Lee has four years left on his contract and since the Lakers want to have as much cap f ...

Love how the crowd chanted Warriors in the last minute. No one sitting down. Everyone was up. This team was not given a chance this year. Shut them critics up. Next year willl be a new season. Klay Thompson, Stephen Curry, David Lee, Harrison Barnes, Andrew Bogut, and the rest of the young guys know what to do to get to wherever this team needs to get. See you next year Golden State Warriors!

WEST: [1] OKC Thunder vs Memphis Grizzlies. I give the Grizzlies the edge due to Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol's domination on the paint. I don't think Serge Ibaka's shot-blocking prowess is enough to contain either. Thunder's other big man, Kendrick Perkins, is all intense looks, less production (defense or offense). Yet still, there's no one in OKC's roster who could make up for Russell Westbrook's absence. Kevin Martin is a shooter, not a playmaker. Memphis' Mike Conley will control the series, no doubt. Doesn't matter if Kevin Durant scores 30+ each time out... It's a team game and the Grizz, with no legit superstar, have proven that time and again. [2] San Antonio Spurs vs Golden State Warriors. On account of their proven cohesiveness and playoff experience, the Spurs—starring (its less hyped, much ignored but most effective trio of) Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili and an able batch of back-ups—will dominate this series. The Warriors may escape with one (or two) win but even if David Lee ...

Jack had 23 points and eight assists to rally the Warriors to a 100-99 victory over the Timberwolves. Warriors beat Miami Heat 97-95 Draymond Green made a layup with 0.9 seconds left to give the Golden State Warriors a 97-95 win over the Miami Heat on Wednesday. Klay Thompson tied a season high with 27 points to lead the Warriors, who have won five straight. LeBron James led Miami with 31 points as he reached the 20-point mark for the 25th consecutive game, the longest current streak in the NBA. Jarrett Jack dribbled the ball at the top of the key for the Warriors as the clock ticked down before finding Green open underneath the basket. Green caught the pass in mid-air and made the basket. James' jumper from the baseline banged off the rim giving Golden State the win as Miami lost for just the second time in 12 home games. David Lee scored 22 points and grabbed 13 rebounds and Jack added 20 points off the bench for the Warriors. Golden State took a 77-74 lead into the fourth quarter after leading for most of the third. After hitting a 3 to tie the game at 87, James gave the Heat their first lead since ear ...
5 game win streak, 15-7, 8-2 in their last 10, fifth in the west. The Golden State Warriors. They don't get as much attention as Miami or OKC or NYK, or even the 9-13 Lakers. They have been playing really well lately. Stephen Curry is averaging 19.5 ppg and 6.5 assists, David Lee is averaging 11.3 rbg. Now we just wait and see if they can hold this up for 60 more games. They could be an interesting match-up in the playoffs. Think they make it? -Tristan
Wow guys I got a whole lot of games for you right now, not gonna lie it took me a good while to write all of this out. The bigger game of the night was between the Mavs and the Celtics. who is the most under rated team in the NBA? for me its the Golden State Warriors. they are playing with a lot of heart and havd now won 5 straight. David Lee is playing lights out this year, and Steph Curry is playong like a monstar and leading this team just like he did at Davidson a few years back. Further they are doing this woth Brandon Rush out the whole year with a torn MCL. your thoughts?-marc
The Golden State Warriors finish off a five game eastern conference road trip undefeated at 5-0, finishing the trip by knocking off the Miami Heat 97-95. The Warriors are now 15-7 and are doing all this without their star center, Andrew Bogut. PG Steph Curry is having an MVP worthy season and David Lee is back to playing the way he did when he was with the Knicks, averaging 18.8 PPG and 11.2 RPG. The Warriors are in fifth place in the Western Conference and are only three games back of the seeded San Antonio Spurs. Time to take this team serious as a playoff contender folks.
What a pass by Jarrett Jack to Draymond Green for the game-winner ! LBJ missed a contested fade-away to tie it, and the Warriors pulled out the W, 97-95. Klay Thomspon and David Lee balled hard ! Nice win by the Warriors.
Along with David Lee, Stephen Curry has played a pivotal role in the Golden State Warriors' superb start to their longest road trip of the season.
