On 1/16 Tue evening while I was in Las vegas, I took in a the show "Motown Revue Hitzville The Show". After the show, I took this photo with the females stars. The show features male and female artists singing hit songs of past Motown Legends ... legends like Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, Smokey Robinson, Diana Ross, The Four Tops, Mary Wells & The Temptations. The artists performed the songs like the original Legends did. I really enjoyed the entertainment. The show reminded me of going to the Apollo in Harlem on 125 St. to see those Legends sing back in theday. I highly recommend this show if you are visting Vegas and you like Motown Legends (Old Skool).

BE-NON-SAY BLOWS OFF HISTORICAL OPPORTUNITY TO PERFORM: Aretha Franklin never lip-synched her performances. Neither did Gladys Knight, Dionne Warwicke, Chaka Khan, Etta James or any other genuine female vocalist. It's bad enough that Be-non-say really cannot sing, but even worse is that per her dad's marketing strategy, she has conned an entire generation into believing that she can and is laughing all the way to the bank. This is what the music and radio industries give us now. And, they still call them "artists." Would love to have seen someone like Tamia offered this opportunity to perform before an international audience, but real singers can't even get record deals any more.

Watching reruns of The Flip Wilson Show from the early 1970s on Aspire TV is an amazing nostalgia trip. As much as I would have loved and preferred to have seen a powerhouse legend like Gladys Knight.
