Boehner Continues to Cover for Obama's Illegal Wars As a Trojan Horse Lubricant for Obama's ISIS Fracking of America Sept. 28 (EIRNS)--Appearing on ABC News This Week, Speaker of the House John Boehner continued to provide cover for President Barack Obama's illegal war in Syria and Iraq. When pressed on why he has not called Congress back from recess to debate and vote on whether or not to authorize the already ongoing war against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, Boehner had the following exchange with host George Stephanopoulos: STEPHANOPOULOS: I know you've said that -- assuming you're speaker next year -- you'd want to have a vote on a resolution -- why not now? BOEHNER: I'd be happy to. The president typically in a situation like this would call for an authorization vote and go sell that to the American people and send a resolution to the Hill. The president has not done that. He believes he has authority under existing resolutions to do what he's done. STEPHANOPOULOS: You don't agree? BOEHNER: I ...
US airstrikes in Syria have taken out members of a shadowy Al Qaeda unit known as the Khorasan Group who were planning "imminent" attacks against targets including the U.S., a Pentagon spokesman told George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America this morning:
Second full day Tuesday, September 16th, touring New York City. Started out a rainy day and after stopping in the deli for a quick bagel breakfast we headed out to get back on the hop on - hop off bus to start our tour of the 911 Museum. (Walked pass the ABC Good Morning America and got to see George Stephanopoulos interviewing Octavia Spencer the gal that played in the move "The Help"...). We spent a few hours touring the museum which I highly recommend..from there we traveled on to tour the United Nations. After a full day of touring we had dinner in Time Square at the Olive Garden and back to our room to unwind and relax.

What they need to do is stop rocketing Israel and accept a ceasefire." IN FACT, ISRAEL'S REFUSAL TO ADDRESS HAMAS' TRUCE TERMS IS A DENIAL OF PALESTINIAN RIGHTS "terms of truce echo previous recommendations made by the UN and the European Union and major human rights organisations, most notably in the Goldstone Report. The refusal of the Israeli government to address these terms results in sacrifice of civilian lives for the sake of ongoing occupation, and thwarting the long-awaited Palestinian national unity agreement. WHO IS HE? DOES ANYBODY KNOW? Thought provoking. This came from a union guy in Chicago who didn't vote for Obama. Very, very interesting perspective that I never thought of in this light. It will be interesting to see what they put in his "Presidential Library" or "Presidential Mosque" about his early years when he is out of office. In a country where we take notice of many, many facets of our public figures' lives, doesn't seem odd that there's so little we know about our current president, Barack Obama. For example, we know that Andrew Jackson 's wife smoked a corn cob pipe and was accused of adultery; Abe Lincoln never went to school; Jack Kennedy wore a back brace; Harry Truman played the piano. As Americans, we enjoy knowing details about our newsmakers, but none of us know one single humanizing fact about the history of our own president. We are all aware of the lack of uncontestable birth records for Obama; that document managing has been spectacularly successful. There are however, several additi ...

By Eliana Johnson Texas Senator Ted Cruz on Sunday called the terms of the deal that secured the release of Army sergeant Bowe Bergdahl “very troubling.” The question Cruz posed to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos: “How many soldiers lost their lives to capture those Taliban terrorists we just released?” In a move that is drawing criticism from several top Republicans, the United States released five top Taliban commanders from the military prison in Guantanamo Bay in exchange for Bergdahl’s release. Watching This Week with George Stephanopoulos. I'm preparing NOW to vote the first White woman into the Presidency. Hillary Clinton 2016. I'm tired of white men running the country into the ground. We need to get every old white man out of office. Most of them feel just like Donald Sterling. We need a paradigm shift in the way we elect our representatives.

Looking forward to joining George Stephanopoulos on ABC's "This Week" on Sunday morning. Tune in!
In the course of this year, I talked to Savannah Guthrie on the telephone, learned a democrat can marry a republican, met Robin Roberts, and sat 20 rows from one of my favorite journalists, George Stephanopoulos and realized he is so much more handsome in person. But none of that makes me, me, or a better person. It is, and never will be about the labels on someone’s clothes, or if they have a Mac and drink out of Starbucks cups. What I have learned this year, is, to quote the film Whip It, be your own hero; be your own unique, individual and independent person. Say, think and dream outrageously; live your feelings and passions on your sleeve. Care about things bigger than yourself. Be you and do you because no one else will.
*** has happened in America the last two years?!? I'm watching the morning "news" shows; George Stephanopoulos is a host on "Good Morning America" and Michael Strahan is a co-host to some hot little dwarf on another channel?!? If I look long enough am I going to find Marilyn Manson on another one of these working with Marylou Retton?? That would be must-see TV.

The Cavalry That Never Came... Someone at the highest level of the United States government made the decision to abandon American consular staff to their fate and cede U.S. sovereign territory to an al-Qaeda assault team — and four out of five Sunday news shows don't think it's worth talking about. In the smoking ruins of that consulate in Benghazi, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods fought for hours and killed 60 of the enemy before they were overwhelmed, waiting for the cavalry that never came. They're still waiting – for Candy Crowley, David Gregory, Bob Schieffer, and George Stephanopoulos to do their job. Democrats and their media enablers openly giggle at the word "Benghazi" now. So funny, isn't it? Those provincial simpletons at Fox News are still droning on about dead Americans in Benghazi as if anybody but their drooling rubes care about it, ha-ha... If the Democrats are right about that, it doesn't speak well for the American people. Those four Americans died serving the United States - not Obama ...
David Gregory’s tenure at “Meet the Press” has suffered another blow after the show’s long-standing producer, Chris Donovan, quit after 12 years and defected to work for ABC rival George Stephanopoulos at “This Week.”
"I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody." "What I was suggesting -- you're absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith..." --in an interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos "I've now been in 57 states -- I think one left to go." "It's not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

Appearing on ABC's This Week with George Stephanopoulos, a little-known fact was revealed that Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) was a registered Republican in the early 90s. She explains to host Stephanopoulos why she left the party to become a Democrat.
By Eliana Johnson Elizabeth Warren was tight-lipped on Sunday when confronted with her own criticism, leveled in a 2003 book, of Hillary Clinton. The Massachusetts senator is the author of the new book A Fighting Chance and many political insiders see her as somebody who could challenge Clinton from the left were she to run for president, though she has repeatedly said she will not, in 2016. ABC’s George Stephanopoulos resurrected the interviewing technique that made the late Meet the Press host Tim Russert famous, pointing how her praise for Clinton today appears to contradict the stance she took a decade ago. Warren, …read more Source: National Review
Just caught Elizabeth Warren on George Stephanopoulos' show, and when pressed on the passage in A Fighting Chance about Hillary taking $140k from banks, Warren demured, and I thought to myself, Warren is running. Until the next question on why she was a registered Republican until 1996, and her answer was the GOP was a principled party back then on these issues. Hmm, now that I don't remember.

GMA now has a foosball table. Or as George Stephanopoulos calls it: "Regular Size Soccer Table."
Notable Quote: Russia’s ambassador to the United States this morning had a sharp retort when asked about President Obama’s comments that Russia is a “regional power acting out of weakness.” “If you consider Russia ‘a regional power,’” he said, “look at our region — it is from Europe to Asia.” President Vladimir Putin has talked up a Eurasioan Union as his anti-Western alternative to the European Union, and close advisers to Putin believe in a certain Eurasian ideology. When ABC’s George Stephanopoulos asked the ambassador whether Russia would consider pulling back from Crimea as a condition of a diplomatic solution, he wasn’t taken too seriously either: “What kind of from Crimea are you talking about?” Ambassador Kislyak said. “We are talking about territory of Russian Federation [sic].” Bottom line, Obama is detached from reality and simply doesn't "get it".
Gotta take a toll. Show is increasingly slap-happy, candy-coated, w/ George Stephanopoulos more & more square peg in round hole.
If George Stephanopoulos leaves GMA anytime soon, maybe I should put in my application to be the next GREEK anchor at the desk.

The largest act of public dissent in American history is happening now. In less than 120 hours what is presently a passive resistance will officially become the largest violation of federal law in our nation’s history. Although the regime announced yet another deadline extension for the three dozen states that are operating federal health-care exchanges on Tuesday evening, this only delays the inevitable scenario that is anticipated in the coming months. We’ve all heard about the countless ways in which Obamacare will destroy what’s left of the America that our founders envisioned, what is not being widely discussed however is the potential fallout associated Obamacare’s failures in regard to the relationship between the American people and the ruling class in D.C. So let’s connect some dots. Obamacare is a tax We all remember how the Supreme Court ruled that Obamacare is legal, in the courts opinion, because it is a tax. Early on, much of the political establishment initially tried to deny the ...
Does anybody know who Barry Soetoro is or was? That was President Barack Obama's name when he was a child. I may not agree with all his ideas or agendas, but the Bible says we are to pray for him. 1 Timothy Chapter 2 verse 1. I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, [and] giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2. For kings, and [for] all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3. For this [is] good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; I am not sure how he became President because by his own admission he was born in Kenya. That right there is the first problem that should of had him impeached years ago since you must be born in America. I could go on, but this is not what I'm trying to say here. LETTERS AT BOTTOM OF ARTICLE! NBC Frets Over 'Brutal' Attack on Hillary From 'Anti-Clinton' Website By Matt Hadro | February 10, 2014 | 20:54 7586 145 Reddit1 1 A A Instead of treating Hillary Clinton as a possible presidential candidate who must be vetted, NBC framed her as a sympathetic victim of a "brutal" and personal attack on Monday's Nightly News. Andrea Mitchell bemoaned that "inflammatory excerpts" of "once-private papers" of Clinton's close friend were published an "anti-Clinton website" -- the conservative news site Washington Free Beacon. Moreover, businesses with over 100 employees will have to cover “just 70 percent of their full-time employees next year instead of the 95 percent previously required.” With these delays, the full employer mandate is not scheduled to kick in until 2016. Petraeus: Hillary Clinton “Would Make A Tremendous President” Because Of …Er… Benghazi?… What the *** is he smoking? In the new book HRC, by The Hill’s Aimee Parnes and Bloomberg’s Jonathan Allen, General David Petraeus praised Hillary Clinton as a potential president, specifically citing what many consider her biggest obstacle as a candidate: her role as Secretary of State overseeing the American compound in Benghazi when it was attacked in 2012. “She’d make a tremendous president,” Petraeus said. “Like a lot of great leaders, her most impressive qualities were most visible during tough times. In the wake of the Benghazi attacks, for example, she was extraordinarily resolute, determined, and controlled.” On This Week With George Stephanopoulos, Jon Karl brought this up to Representative Tom Cole (R-OK) and asked if it “took the wind out of the sails” of Benghazi as an anti-Hillary talking point. “Oh, I don’t think so,” Cole said. “It was a debacle. Laura Dern (hello legs) turns 47 today, which is 84 in actress years. ABC news guy George Stephanopoulos turns 53. Yes, he was born back in 1961, the year of the great vowel shortage... and one look at his last name, and you know why. Roberta Flack turns 75 today. She was the original singer of the song, "Killing me Softly." Her biggest hit was "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face." Every DJ's nightmare. The first time I heard that song, it was so slow I thought it was playing backwards.
Happy Birthday Lon Chaney Jr., George Stephanopoulos and in honor of the Olympics, Mark Spitz.

Happy B-Day to some of the wonderful people on Planet Earth! Your BirthdayScope for Feb 10:Happy Birthday, Aquarius! Your greatest source of power is within YOU – not in anyone or anything else. Because you are so curious and eager to get results, you may be less conscious of your own unique qualities and gifts than you are of others. Like a racehorse straining to get out of the starting gate, you have a burning desire to reach a destination ahead of everyone. What you’ll do when you get there is anyone’s guess – but your need to be first makes your engine run a little hotter and faster. This sets you up for anxiety, tension headaches, heart palpitations, and even depression. You cannot stand feeling trapped, controlled or limited. In fact, you’d rather die than be held hostage. The freedom to express yourself and move about without any form of restraint makes life worth living. Some may label you ‘bull-headed’ and relentless in your pursuit of a desired goal. If others try to dissuade you f ...

While watching This Week With George Stephanopoulos a report was done on heroin. It's amazing how it's now a crisis because it's affecting the higher socio-economical classes and people like Phillip Hoffman. But this is not new, America responded the same way with prescription drugs, alcohol, marijuana, cocaine and other substances. Folks, it's a DISEASE that affects ALL. No one is immune and ALL need helpful support. Thank GOD for A.A., N.A. and C.A.

Tomorrow morning (Sunday, Feb. 9) I'll be on ABC News's "This Week w/George Stephanopoulos" (except not w/George Stephanopoulos) talking w/ Dr. Richard Besser and Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin about heroin, addiction, recovery, and relapse. (I think title for the segment is "Heroin: America's latest epidemic.) It's supposed to air at ~ 40 minutes past the hour.
On a recent episode of This Week, George Stephanopoulos was talking with DNC vice chairwoman Donna Brazile, when she said: “I don’t think you can create two classes of citizens in this society, one with legal status and the right to vote, and one without.” The Left has a long track record of lying about their intentions. Recently, they have lied about Obamacare, claiming it was meant to give the poor an opportunity at healthcare. We all know there are numerous ways by which the healthcare industry can be fixed without a massive government takeover, but that’s the point. The Left doesn’t care about the poor, they want bigger government. They think it is for the betterment of man that we be under the loving care of a monstrous matriarchal government. Every effort made by the Left at legislation is designed to push our country toward their ultimate goal: a Marxist paradise. Most of the country doesn’t want to live in soviet Russia, so the Left must disguise their policy as something good and love ...

An American exclusive sit-down with Russian Pres. Vladimir Putin ahead of the Sochi Olympics - This Week with George Stephanopoulos has details on Good Morning America:
Didn't think it was my imagination. BIAS ya think? In the first 24 hours after the traffic scandal involving Chris Christie broke, the “major” networks gave it 17 times more coverage than they’ve given to Barack Obama’s IRS scandal over the last six months. ABC, CBS and NBC devoted 34 minutes and 28 seconds of coverage to “Bridgegate” in 24 hours – compared to two minutes and eight seconds to the IRS targeting of Tea Party groups in six months. Good Morning America‘s George Stephanopoulos pounced on the developing Christie story first thing Thursday morning, opening GMA by trumpeting: “Chris Christie in crisis. Calls at this hour for the feds to step in, investigate the explosive e-mails.” Stephie later hoped wondered: “One of the big questions right now; how much has it hampered his White House prospects? (Translation: “Oh, pretty please, pretty please!”) On the CBS Evening News, anchor Scott Pelley sounded a similar alarm: “Tonight, a potential presidential candidate caught up ...
Sen Rand Paul Appears on This Week with George Stephanopoulos - January ...: via RT
WHAT ENEMY? The silliness of it all. I turn on the TV or cable - Yup! Nothing to watch. I long ago gave up on ABC's Good Morning America, with George Stephanopoulos wasting his time on entertainment trash talk. I lower the volume of the female screech team on NBC's Today Show since the classy Ann Curry left. She wasn't fired, NBC's news team downgraded themselves. There's always David Gregory pummeling, stampeding his way over smarter minds than his. I'm a news junkie, I want the latest and newest high jinks of the world. As long as I have Amy Goodman to *** any flatulent government talking head and unstupify Murdoch's seduction of the multitudes. But blimey folks… what grabs me, just plain astonishes me, creeps me out - is the every present news hawking theme "Let's Kill the Enemy." Let's get all our forces (pay later of course), our beloved principles, and have it smartly caroled by right wing demagogues, for a war on our enemies. What enemy? We bash our brains out on the gridiron. Come home fro ...

Diane Sawyer Vetoes George Stephanopoulos As Her Replacement On ‘World News’… If And When She Leaves Posted on Dec 5, 2013 @ 3:55AM | By Jen Heger-Assistant Managing Editor Even though Diane Sawyer doesn’t have any immediate plans to retire from anchoring ABC’s World News, the respected journalist has been telling network executives that she doesn’t want George Stephanopoulos to get the gig, and has instead suggested the next anchor be David Muir, who already anchors the weekend edition, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting. “Diane has been telling her bosses in the news division at ABC that George would be a terrible replacement for her when the time comes for her to hang it up. She doesn’t think viewers in primetime like his interviewing style, and the tone of his delivery. He can come across as very condescending,” a network source told Radar. “The only suitable replacement in Diane’s opinion is David Muir. They are very close friends, and Diane has taken David under her wing, ...
Later on This Week, host George Stephanopoulos continued the conversation with a roundtable of pundits -- including the dueling husband-and-wife team of liberal James Carville and conservative Mary Matalin. Offered Carville: "Can I just make one jaw-dropping point? This week it came out, a UC Berkeley study said …one-third of all bank tellers (are) on public assistance. This is bank tellers. These are people that have a level of skill." Carville went on to say Congress should pass a law that mandates private-sector companies offer a living wage to their employees if they are part of a government bailout or profitable. "Salaries for bank tellers nationwide are so low that 31 percent of bank tellers and their family members are enrolled in some type of public assistance program," the committee cites in its report. That public assistance takes many forms. The grand total is nearly $900 million, with Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program accounting for over half. Food stamps, the Earned Inc ...

On a drive through South Hampton during my recent camp outing on a Montauk beach, I noticed four or five drive through cigarette stores housed in tractor trailer-like boxes juxtaposed cramped commuters in a Long Island Railroad car. The rectangular tin can stores stuck out like a black eye on the pretty face of Rosanna Scotto in what may be the Western world’s ritziest neighborhood. Reservation, I guessed, and not the “table for two” kind. Not coincidentally, to be sure, less than a mile down the road, I saw a bumper sticker that read, “If you own property in the Hamptons, Thank a Shinnecock.” Ah. The Shinnecock Indian Nation. An eight hundred acre reservation enclave of South Hampton. Cognitive dissonance overcame me. Hadn’t I just passed the Shinnecock Country Club? Yes, I had, which purportedly sits on tribal burial grounds. This morning, George Stephanopoulos rallied his troops around the Washington Redskins mascot debate. Shouldn’t the name change? The White House Blasts Ted Cruz's Charge That The US Would Be 'Al-Qaeda's Air Force' In Syria BRETT LOGIURATO SEP. 8, 2013, 6:16 PM 3,502 15 ABC Of all the criticisms leveled at White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough Sunday in a tour of the morning shows, one seemed to bug him most — Sen. Ted Cruz's (R-Texas) charge that U.S. forces in Syria would be aiding al-Qaida. Cruz told the conservative website The Blaze last week that the U.S. shouldn't get involved in Syria because it doesn't "have a dog in the fight," and it risks helping rebel forces aligned with terrorist groups. "We should be focused on defending the United States of America," Cruz said. "That’s why young men and women sign up to join the military — not to, as you know, serve as Al Qaeda’s air force." It was a suggestion to which McDonough took umbrage when asked by ABC's George Stephanopoulos. "I am outraged for somebody to suggest that our people would be serving as allies to al-Qaida, one," McDonough said on ABC's "This Week." ...
