Osama Bin Laden is dead, General Motors is alive.
by BEN SHAPIRO 11 Sep 2012 415 POST A COMMENT Vice President Joe Biden has a suggested slogan for the Obama/Biden 2012 campaign. He repeats it everywhere he goes. “Osama Bin Laden is dead,” he bellows, “and General Motors is alive!” There’s only one problem. He’s wrong. Yes, Bin Laden’s dead, thank God. And General Motors is still an operating concern. But in point of fact, the cause for which Osama Bin Laden stood is stronger than at any time in American history, thanks in large part to the Obama administration. And as for GM, it’s not so much alive as it is a member of the corporate living dead, feasting on taxpayer brains while slowly deteriorating, the first zombie company created by Obama’s cronyism. On the eleventh anniversary of Osama Bin Laden’s attack on America, it’s worthwhile to examine just what he hoped to accomplish. He spelled out his goals in three documents: a 1996 fatwa titled, “Declaration of War Against The Americans Occupying The Land of the Two Holy Places ...
We're not supposed to see pictures of the dead man because that's spiking the football. But Zero Dark Thirty isn't spiking the football. Neither is "Osama Bin Laden is dead and General Motors is alive."
Some of Obama's achievements: Prevented the economy from hitting bottom with the stimulus plan that plowed govt dollars into hiring, achieved long sought health care legislation, enacted a firewall to prevent a relapse of the Wall Street fiasco, backed a federal bailout to save auto industry jobs, ended the war in Iraq and oversaw the raid that ended in the death of Osama Bin Laden. "Osama is dead and General Motors is alive."
Why are hate and fear mongers so angry that under Barack Obama, Osama Bin Laden is Dead and General Motors is Alive? Check your list, those are 2 great things! Slingin' rhetoric to *** people off, check.
Joe Biden is at home shirtless, drinking a MGD Draft saying to the TV, 'Osama Bin Laden is Dead, General Motors is Alive'
To my many good friends: I am supporting President Obama for re-election. Although some Democrats and Republicans are convinced that they have the will of Deity behind them (they must know more than the Pope and the Chief Rabbi of Israel!), and I would vote for the individual who, I think, would best serve the people regardless of party, one cannot lightly dismiss the parties' platforms. My reasons for endorsing the President are: • He supported General Motors (which is now profitable, employing workers, and repaying its debt to the Government) whereas his opponent stated that it should go down the drain. • He responsibly conducted foreign policy in the best interests of the United States and sought to maintain open communication with Russia, the Arab countries, Israel, and the Viet Nams. He did not pander to any of them nor blow steam despite assertions to the contrary and selection of statements and pictures out of context. • He NEVER disrespected the nation, its flag, or its people!! Allegatio ...
I cant wait till Joe Biden slams his hands on the table & says 'Listen Pee Wee, Osama Bin Laden is Dead, General Motors is alive'
Osama Bin Laden is dead and so is our Ambassador to Libya; General Motors is alive and so is Al Qaeda & Associates.
"General Motors led the raid to kill Osama Bin Laden" - what to expect on Thursday night
This is a long post regarding this election. I hope you will read and comment on it, Feel free to disagree. Why I will vote for President Obama I decided today to examine my opinion of President Obama and why I will vote for him. Friends disagree and I respect that. But let me hear you disagree with any of these reasons for making this decision. Most of you know I love politics so if you disagree let me know why 1. The stock market was at 6500 when he became President in 2008. It is over 13000 today. Remember the 401k jokes? Not anymore. 2. Osama Bin Laden is dead. We let him get away in Tora Bora, not in Pakistan. General Motors and the U.S auto industry is alive and doing well. 3. We are out of an unnecessary war in Iraq and getting out of Afghanistan and achieved our goal of damaging or eliminating Al Qaeda. In addition several middle East dictators have been thrown out. Will it be better, who knows. But if we believe in democracy they needed to be gone. And no American blood was spilled. 4. Unemployme ...
Greatest comment heard today: This is a short, but effective exchange between 2 co-hosts on "The Five" appearing on Fox, between Bob Beckel, noted Democratic strategist (who still calls himself a 'strategist' after a lifetime of managing multiple Democrat campaigns for the office of President without a single victory) and Andrea Tantaros, as follows: (Bob Beckel is on the panel to parrot BHO administration talking points) Mr. Beckel: "Well if all you want to do is denigrate Obama administration foreign policy, let me remind you that 'General Motors is alive and Osama Bin Laden is dead'" Ms. Tantaros: "Yes, but so is our ambassador to Libya". Mr. Beckel: (crickets chirping).
“The Navy Seals shot Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan and Lisa Jackson shot us in Washington,” said Cecil Roberts, UMWA president during an April 3 radio show in West Virginia. “I noticed this past week the Vice President was talking about the campaign and he mentioned that Osama Bin Laden was dead and General Motors was alive. He should have gone on to say that the coal industry is not far behind with respect to what happened with Osama Bin Laden.”
"Osama Bin Laden is dead, and General Motors is alive"!
General Motors is building plants in China and Osama Bin Laden is completely unknown to millions of Muslims who are eager to kill Americans.
General Motors is Alive and Osama Bin Laden is dead...
I have heard a lot of things said and posted about this election, some of them have been true and some have not, but this is what seals it for me. Unemployment is 8.3 percent, and although there are some who say it has fallen recently, that is due to people accepting down graded jobs in hope of surviving until there can be true change, not and increase is real jobs. The median American income is down by over $9000 per year The National debt has increased over 37% in the last THREE YEARS. Read that again THREE YEARS! Obama and Biden laud as there accomplishments the death of Osama Bin Laden and the survival of General Motors. Barak Obama had nothing to do with Bin Laden's death that was done by American agencies that had been working on long before he came to office, and it was carried out by brave american soldiers while Obama sat in his office, you sir "did not build that". General Motors bail out that he claims so much accomplishment over, nets 4500 jobs created in America, because 74,500 of the approx ...
Osama Bin Laden is DEAD and General Motors is ALIVE...four (4) years later. They gonna double down on trickle down.Where are Mitt Romney's tax returns? What is he hiding? It may all come out now that someone has stolen a container with the Romney tax returns and asked for 1 million to return the package; if not they will go to the newspapers and publish the secret tax returns! How stupid is that? And he wants to be President, he can't even hide documents in a safe place.
Joe Biden: "Osama is dead and General Motors is alive" Correction: The Navy Seals killed Bin Laden and GM stills owes us 50 Billion

10 Things That Would Be Happening Today If Obama's Policies Were Working (by John Hawkins; May 04, 2012) Barack Obama has "already held more re-election fundraising events than every elected president since Richard Nixon combined." Yet, despite the fact that he has been campaigning almost non-stop since the 2010 election, aside from trying to steal credit from the SEALs for killing Osama Bin Laden, you very seldom hear Obama talk about his record. This is especially noteworthy because like him or hate him, Obama has passed a lot of legislation. So, if Barack Obama has such an extensive record, why is it that Republicans are the ones that are always talking about it while Obama tries to steer the conversation to anything else? Simple: Obama is a failed President. His policies haven't worked. If Obama had actually produced results, the country would look very different today. 1) Obama touts General Motors as a success story. If that were true, General Motors would have made a profit without taxpayers losing ...
MT Gov Schweitzer: "Osama Bin Laden is at the bottom of the ocean and General Motors is top in the world again."
The Tea Party Republicants & FOX Noise don't like the new Campaign Slogan; "Osama Bin Laden is Dead, & General Motors Is Alive".
For the Tea Nuts who miss the point, General Motors is alive and well; Osama Bin Laden is not. Bush lacked the wherewithal to go get him, and Romney, a GW imitator, has publicly stated that to do so was too risky. I like Obama, I prefer MY presidents to have some brains and &^%&s! Hilary for 2016!
May 1st .. On this day two important things to mention. (1) Osama Bin Laden is DEAD)(2) General Motors is ALIVE)
"If Mitt Romney would have been in office these last years, than Osama Bin Laden would be alive, and General Motors would be dead" - Joe Biden
