Fred Armisen & Lawrence Welk
Fred Armisen (born December 4, 1966) is an American actor, comedian and musician best known for his work as a cast member on Saturday Night Live, and portraying off-color foreigners in various comedy films such as EuroTrip, Anchorman and Cop Out. Lawrence Welk (March 11, 1903 - May 17, 1992) was an American musician, accordionist, bandleader, and television impresario, who hosted The Lawrence Welk Show from 1955 to 1982. His style came to be known to his large number of radio, television, and live-performance fans (and critics) as champagne music . /5
the guy that looks exactly like Fred Armisen and talks like his Lawrence Welk impersonation just came in wearing denim from head to toe
From what I hear (which isn't much), and which most people can agree with, is that, the top four performers in Saturday Night Live history are Eddie Murphy, Will Ferrell, Dan Ackroyd, and Phil Hartman. Who can disagree? HOWEVER, my first two picks would be Fred Armisen, who can play anyone from Barack Obama to Lawrence Welk, and Maya Rudolph, who can go from dumb blonde model to Oprah. Give them the right wig, they can do anything.
Fred Armisen needs to lead the band on Late Night with Seth Meyers as Lawrence Welk at least once.
I just blanked on Fred Armisen's name, and the closest I could get was..."You know...Sizmic Bimsmo...who does the Lawrence Welk sketch. Sizmic Bimsmo.
Lawrence Welk Show...Fred Armisen..tears. Still not over the season finale.
"People say we've lost our edge, but this show is meant for 13 year olds." // Footage of Fred Armisen as Lawrence Welk
"Isn't love beautiful when it's gross?" -Fred Armisen's Lawrence Welk, SNL
SNL quote of the day courtesy Fred Armisen as Lawrence Welk, "welcome Johnny Prociutto and the Mahara Sisters all the way from the Finger Lakes & you know what they say about the Finger Lakes; if you can only squeeze in one finger on your first visit, relax..."
"Is it me or can you show a movie on that girl's forehead?" Lawrence Welk / Fred Armisen
My Dad is watch Lawrence Welk special and all I can think of Fred Armisen from His impression is bang on…
