What are you doing this Saturday evening? The Winnipeg Singers, with special guests including the HMK choir, will perform a concert on December 8 at 7:00 pm at the Knox Presbyterian Church. The singers perform during the reading of the Margaret Laurence Children's book, The Christmas Story. Tickets are: Adults $15 advance sale, and $20 at the door. Students are $10. Had a great date night with Steve on Friday night. We went to Cheesecake Factory in Portland, did some shopping at Washington Square and went to Cenetopia to see the movie Bourne Legacies. What a great movie with a lot of action. The cooler temps on Saturday morning made for a great bike ride on the Banks to Vernonia trial. On Sunday went to the Silverton Fine Arts Festival. The had some great artwork so purchased a few really awesome pieces. It was fun participating in the silent auction and of course the wine tasting was terrific. I do love summer.

Busy week getting ready for the Westhampton Beach art show. Looking forward to meeting new friends who love art.

Had a good time today. Went the Fine Arts Festival in Golden. Listened to some good bands, drank a local micro brew (part of it, anyway) and bought a painting for $188. It was a water color painted by a Colorado artist. Then walked across Clear Creek (white water mountain stream that goes through Golden) and went to the weekly farmers market. It was cool place. Much more than fresh vegetables.

Say a prayer for Chena today please. She got a Superior with callbacks for 1st round in her vocal solo Wednesday here at the AG National Fine Arts Festival in Louisville, KY!!! Way to go Chenaniah! She sings today at 11:34 (10:34 Oklahoma time ) She's one of the top 50 but of course she'll always be The judges narrow it down to around 10 people at the 1st callback. Those people then come back for 2nd round and sing again. A winner is chosen from this group. She also sings this afternoon at 4:12 (3:12 OK time) in the Spanish female vocal solo category. I'm so proud of Chena and Ethan. They've done an outstanding job this week. Actually, all the kids from Poteau have been just awesome! Pray that God continus to bless.
