For anyone that watches Formula One racing, I'm going to be very disappointed next year if Sebastian Vettel leaves Infiniti- Red Bull to race with Scuderia Ferrari, and Fernando Alonso leaves Scuderia Ferrari to race with Mercedes AMG Petronas I believe. Because I'm so used to hearing about Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso being Ferraris best drivers. Now they'll have Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen. They just won't be able to compete with AMG Petronas, with them having Luis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg AND Fernando Alonso. Although Vettel is a *** good racer, I don't see it going over very smoothly.
McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton was second and Ferrari driver Felipe Massa was third but Jenson Button finished 12th to all but end their hopes of retaining the title. Alonso now leads by 11 points fr
Congratulations to the pilots: Lewis Hamilton - First, Nico Rosberg second and third place Felipe Massa.
Get in there Lewis Hamilton! Nice to see Felipe Massa up on the podium too whilst deep in the heart of Ferrari territory! And they thought he was past it.
News: Lewis Hamilton set himself up as favourite for S day's Italian Formula One Grand Prix after beating championship-leading team mate and title rival Nico Rosberg to pole position on an all-Mercedes front row. Mercedes-powered cars filled the top six slots after Saturday qualifying, with Williams drivers Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa together on the second row and McLaren's Kevin Magn sen and Jenson Button fifth and sixth. The pole was 2008 world champion Hamilton's fifth of the season and the 36th of his career. "We've done this as a team and it's great to have another one-two for the team," said Hamilton, who is 29 points adrift of Rosberg in the championship after they collided in Belgium two weeks ago. That incident has been the talk of Formula One, with Rosberg taking the blame for a coming together that led to Hamilton's retirement at Spa. .

After seeing enough articles about what happened with Tony Stewart, I feel the need to say a few things. The story in empire news that he is getting out of racing is false. The news site is just a false comical propaganda site. They site also claims Felipe Massa was decapitated in a wreck when he wasn't. There are already enough websites out there promoting conspiracy stories & false news that have decided to weigh in the sport & I don't find anything funny about it. If you want that kind of stuff, then go read the John Birch society news letter. Before jumping to conclusions, people should let the investigation gather all the evidence & facts. This happens all to often these days weather it's a shooting, terrorist attack, or what the president says. It happens all to often these days & find it quite sad & disturbing.
whew, what a day! Rosberg wins the German Grand Prix and is on top of the world right now, new mega contract, just got married, Germany just won the World Cup, and he wins his home grand prix! Three podiums in a row for Valtteri Bottas, the young Finn takes 2nd again and secures the 300th podium for Williams! Hamilton charged through the field from 20th to 3rd to minimize the damage in the points. Massive accident at the first turn off the start with Felipe Massa's Williams making contact with the McLaren of Kevin Magnussen and Massa flipped and skidded on his top for a while before flipping back over, second straight race he has been taken out on the first lap but this one he kind of cut down on Magnussen and caused himself. More solid jobs from Alonso and Hulkenberg, Raikkonen had a decent race going but then got hit three different times which caused front wing damage, slowing him and causing massive tire degradation that meant he had to stop an extra time. A break cannot be caught. Williams now ...

Rosberg wins in Germany for Mercedes: Germany's Nico Rosberg capped a memorable eight days for himself and his country by winning his home grand prix for Mercedes on Sunday and stretching his overall lead in the Formula One championship to 14 points. Following up Germany's World Cup triumph in Brazil last weekend, his wedding in Monaco and the signing of a new contract with Mercedes, Rosberg led untroubled from pole position to chequered flag. Lewis Hamilton, his team mate and only real title rival, finished a fighting third after starting in 20th place and then charging through the field. Finland's Valtteri Bottas took second place for Williams, his third podium finish in a row and a hefty 20.7 seconds behind Rosberg, after Brazilian team mate Felipe Massa crashed at the start in a collision that brought out the safety car. Rosberg was the first to win for a works Mercedes team in Germany since Argentine Juan Manuel Fangio in 1954 and first German home winner for a German team since the championship star ...
Felipe Massa can count himself lucky to have been able to walk out of his car after this epic crash on the first corner of the German Grand Prix.
Motorsport | Formula 1 Rosberg on pole, Hamilton crashes out 19 July 2014, 16:23 Formula One leader Nico Rosberg put Mercedes on pole position for his home German Grand Prix on Saturday after a brake failure dumped title rival and teammate Lewis Hamilton out of qualifying. Hamilton, who is four points behind Rosberg in the standings after nine of 19 races, ended up sore and 16th after a heavy crash but should start 15th when a penalty is applied to Sauber's Esteban Gutierrez ahead of him. Finland's Valtteri Bottas joined Rosberg on the front row for Mercedes-powered Williams, with Brazilian teammate Felipe Massa qualifying third on a searingly hot afternoon at Hockenheim with temperatures in the 50s Celsius. The pole was Rosberg's fifth of the season, fourth in the last five races and ninth of his career, but less satisfying than some. "It's great, a home race and to be on pole is fantastic," the 29-year-old, who got married last week and signed a new multi-year contract with Mercedes while also celebrati ...
Qualifying - Rosberg on pole as Hamilton crashes out19 Jul 2014 Nico Rosberg gave the home fans exactly what they wanted as he raced to pole position in Germany on Saturday afternoon, but Mercedes team mate Lewis Hamilton had another miserable qualifying session, crashing out in Q1 when his right-front brake disc failed entering the Sachskurve. Behind Rosberg, Williams claimed second and third with Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa, whilst McLaren’s Kevin Magnussen and Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo completed the top five. By the time Q1 got underway the track temperature was already way higher than the 47 degrees Celsius from FP3, nudging 55 and getting closer to the 58 seen in FP2. That made it almost certain that error-free, single-lap runs on the supersoft Pirellis were at a premium. Despite that, Rosberg, Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel, Lotus’s Pastor Maldonado and Toro Rosso’s Daniil Kvyat all had off-track moments during the session. Of course, Hamilton’s accident was the big news of Q1, occur ...
Felipe Massa fastest for Williams on day one of latest in-season test at Silverstone
Only gone and landed selfies with Susie Wolff, Felipe Massa and Rubens Barichello
Mercedes top, Williams suffer Mercedes led the way in opening practice for the British GP on Friday morning, although there was double disappointment for Williams after both Felipe Massa and Susie Wolff came to grief at Silverstone.
BRITISH GP - FP2 Follow FP2 from Silverstone 4 July 2014 Nico Rosberg set the pace during the first practice session for the British Grand Prix, which also featured the first female F1 driver in an official session for 22 years and a big accident for Felipe Massa. Susie Wolff completed just four laps before pulling her Williams to the side of the track with an oil pressure problem, bringing an end to a disappointing debut at a grand prix. Although she has driven the car before in testing, Friday morning practice was her first outing in a session at a grand prix weekend but it lasted less than 20 minutes and she was not able to set a competitive time. The only silver lining is that she will be back behind the wheel in two weeks for another crack at an FP1 session in Germany. However, fixing Wolff's car should be fairly straightforward for Williams compared to the repair job required on team-mate Felipe Massa's car. Massa lost the rear of his car on the exit of Stowe and smashed into the barriers by the ent ...
Lewis Hamilton, Felipe Massa and others take part in British Grand Prix press conference: Hamilton will have the crow
FP1 - Rosberg top, double woe for Williams in Britain Mercedes' Nico Rosberg led the way in Friday morning's opening practice session for the 2014 Formula 1 Santander British Grand Prix, lapping Silverstone seven-tenths quicker than team mate and home favourite Lewis Hamilton. But it was a troubled session for Williams. Susie Wolff's practice debut was ended by oil pressure problems after just one flying lap, while team mate Felipe Massa crashed out just minutes later
I said, when Ferrari signed Kimi Raikkonen to replace Felipe Massa for the 2014 season, they made the wrong decision. Nico Hulkenburg was the right choice. Current Drivers' Standings: 4th Alonso 79 pts 6th Hulkenburg 59 pts 9th Felipe Massa 30 pts 12th Raikkonen 19 pts Case closed.
Had a great day at Goodwood Festival Of Speed! Even got my programme signed by Felipe Massa and Christian Horner!
at (Former A1) after 10 years and it turned out boring instead of interesting after the Qualifying as assumed it would be. There was no accident in T1, T2 and T8. Nico Rosberg clinched another podium and his third victory in this season, both Mercedes drivers suffered with the brakes in back to back races, plus point is none had to retire today. Nico Rosberg did a solid start chasing Williams pole sitter Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas in a long run till first pit stop. Lewis Hamilton had a better start which brought him to the podium from P9. Williams driver did well through the race but lost their momentum and lost places and only Valtteri Bottus could finish in the podium for the first time. Felipe Massa just missed the podium for his strategy error in the end. Fernando Alonso started losing his pace from the beginning but at a moment he started leading the race for few laps when others went to their second pit stop and he only managed to finish in P5. Kimi Raikkonen as usual had another bad race fini ...
Rosberg wins Austrian Grand Prix, Championship leader Nico Rosberg won the Austrian Grand Prix here Sunday, putting Mercedes back on top in a nail-biting finale with teammate Lewis Hamilton. The German, clinching his third win this season, managed to hold off Hamilton until the end, with Williams driver Valtteri Bottas taking his first ever podium, in what turned out to be a disastrous home race for Red Bull. Bottas's teammate Felipe Massa, who had started on pole, was fourth, followed by Ferrari's Fernando Alonso, Sergio Perez of Force India and McLaren's Kevin Magnussen. The season's eighth race saw Mercedes extend their lead in the constructors' standings to 301 points, with Red Bull trailing in a distant second place with 143 points. It also gives Rosberg -- who has never finished off the podium this season -- a 29-point lead on four-win Hamilton in the fierce internal Mercedes battle. Sunday's race at the Red Bull Ring started with an all-Williams front row after Brazilian Felipe Massa and Bottas put ...

Lap 60/71: 11 laps to go and Mercedes in charge at Red Bull's home circuit. Rosberg leads team mate Mercedes Lewis Hamilton by 1,8 seconds. Williams' Bottas 6,6 seconds behind in third. Felipe Massa in fourth followed by Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button in fifth and sixth respectively.
Lap 36/ 71 Half-way point of the Austrian GP: Nico Rosberg leads the race from Williams' Valtterrie Bottas and team mate Lewis Hamilton. Williams' Felipe Massa clings onto fourth, followed by Ferrari's Fernando Alonso. So far the race has seen Torro Rosso's Daniel Kvyat retire and Sebastian Vettel trailing behind in last place.
