Saw this beautiful newly installed exhibit at the High Museum this weekend - "Frida & Diego". It is the largest combined exhibition of their works ever displayed. So interesting watching the progression of their work. She, self-taught artist who expressed so much of her physical and emotional pain through her work. He, European educated from the some of the best Cubists and Impressionists of the time. An unusual collaboration of their marriage and their join political passion of the Mexican Revolution are beautifully portrayed in their artwork. I would highly recommend seeing this.

Had my 2nd waxing with European Wax Center today (1st one was FREE!) and I am really impressed. They are very professional and prices are reasonable. They use a wax that hardens (kind of like taffy) rather than the typical hot wax and strips and it is a lot gentler because it grabs the hair rather than the hair AND skin! Neato! It's worth the drive to Garden City to at least try it for free (eyebrows, underarms, or bikini line- ladies... eyebrows, nose, or ears-men).
