English Parliament & West Lothian Question
The Parliament of England was the legislature of the Kingdom of England. In 1066, William of Normandy introduced a feudal system, by which he sought the advice of a council of tenants-in-chief and ecclesiastics before making laws. The West Lothian question refers to whether Members of Parliament from Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales should be able to vote on matters that affect only England in the House of Commons of the United Kingdom./5

And as for the promises made by our political leaders, quite simply if you do follow through with those promises then you lose my vote! End the West Lothian Question, end the Barnett Formula, and create an English Parliament before the next general election.
