My drew could not sleep last night after sleeping for several sick days. I just went in his room and gave him one of his prescribed sleep aids. He was gaming with friends and didn't want to get in bed yet. I told him while his friends were listening over the microphone that if he did not get in bed right away the side effect would be a three hour *** LOL! WOW have times changed; what we accepted in 1980 was crazy! We watched just one Hill Street Blues episode... A 50-something cop was dating a HS senior after leaving his wife. Cops responded to a domestic violence event where the stepdad was "having relations" with his wife's daughter...and the cop told the WIFE to "meet his needs" so he'd leave the daughter alone. A whole SWAT team stormed a store and used machine guns to obliterate the place. The arrest of one guy had so many cops attacking him, it made me think that Rodney King was common. Wow. That was eye opening!! To think that series (which I used to watch all the time!!) won tons of Emmy Awards!!!
