CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Charlotte Hornets owner Michael Jordan honored Al Jefferson by taking out a full-page advertisement Sunday in the Charlotte Observer after the 6-foot-10 center was named third-team All-NBA. Jefferson has proven to be the franchise's best free agent signing ever. He joined Charlotte last July and was the only player in the Eastern Conference to average a double-double for the 2013-14 season. The ad praised "Big Al" for his "dedication and commitment to the franchise" and congratulated him for winning the Eastern Conference Player of the Month twice during the season. Jefferson led the franchise to its first playoff appearance since 2010, although Charlotte was swept in the first round by the Miami Heat. Jefferson was hobbled throughout the series after injuring his foot in Game 1.
San Antonio (1) vs Miami (2) Miami’s 4th Consecutive Eastern Conference Championship (1st since Boston Celtics 1984-1987) San Antonio’s 6th Overall Western Conference Championship (2nd in the West only to Los Angeles ) First Nba Finals rematch since Chicago Bulls vs Utah Jazz (1997-1998) After a certain point, it is very difficult to measure or properly evaluate teams via statistics. When reaching the finals of any sports tournament (especially one decided by a best of 7 format), one can hardly remember one’s shooting percentage or number of turnovers unless it sets a record for the final round of competition. Instead, the true human factors are the key. The 2014 Nba Finals are no different. In the Miami Heat, we have the first true dynasty of the Social Media Era forming before our very eyes. With Indiana’s bewildering collapse, there are truly no contenders on the horizon in the Eastern Conference who can challenge Miami for their iced-out throne. Heat eliminate Pacers in blowout win to advance to 4th straight Finals Jesse D. Garrabrant/NBAE/Getty Images MIAMI -- For the entirety of the regular season, the supremacy of the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference was brought into serious question by the Indiana Pacers. Then came the playoffs. And the question was answered -- emphatically. The Heat became the third franchise in NBA history to reach the title series in four consecutive seasons, a laugher of a conference-title finale getting them there again Friday night. Lebron James and Chris Bosh each scored 25 points, and Miami eliminated the Pacers for the third straight year with a 117-92 romp in Game 6 of the East championship series. "I'm blessed. Very blessed. Very humbled," James said. "And we won't take this opportunity for granted. It's an unbelievable franchise, it's an unbelievable group. And we know we still have work to do, but we won't take this for granted. We're going to four straight Finals and we will never take this for granted." Dwy ...

Congratulations to the Miami Heat, the 2014 Eastern Conference Champions, for advancing to the Finals ! 🔥🏀
Spiritual question. The Indiana Pacers talked about getting the number 1 seed throughout the regular season. It seems that they felt with the number 1 seed they would have had an advantage over the Miami Heat. On the other hand they never mentioned (at least I never heard them mentioned it) about winning a championship. It seemed like getting the number 1 seed in the Eastern Conference was more important than winning the NBA championship. With that in mind didn't GOD give them what they asked for in the first place, the Eastern Conference number 1 seed? Or am I wrong to think this way?

2014 Nba Playoffs: How the No. 8 Charlotte Bobcats and No. 2 Miami Heat match up in the first round of the best-of-7 Eastern Conference playoff series.
Turning Up the Intensity the N.B.A. playoffs, everyone is looking to win it all, and no one, thankfully, is thinking about the lottery. So after all the talk during the regular season about which teams were tanking in hopes of landing top draft picks, it will be refreshing to watch game after game in which the only objective is to score the most points. Of course, figuring out which team can do that all the way to an N.B.A. championship is a bit complicated. In the Eastern Conference, the Miami Heat seemingly took a step back from last season, with clear regression by two older players, Ray Allen and Shane Battier. The Indiana Pacers looked like title contenders for much of the season before grinding to a near halt in the last month, partly because of an overtaxed starting lineup. In the Western Conference, the San Antonio Spurs rolled to another top seed in the playoffs, and it would be foolish to bet against them. Still, age caught up to Manu Ginobili in last year's postseason, and it will eventually ge ...

From the Forget Ellis Sports Network: The Miami Heat will three-peat as NBA Champions. It’s been a long and excruciating winter for all of us (well not all of us, our friends to the south are continuing to freeze in their 80-degree weather), so I can understand if you haven’t been paying much attention to the NBA. In case you missed it, let me fill you in on what you’ve missed before diving into the playoff preview: - The San Antonio Spurs are really good … again. They finished the season with the best overall record at 62-20. - Kevin Durant will win the MVP. - No team wanted to take the number one seed in the Eastern Conference. The Indiana Pacers eventually snagged it with a 56-26 record. Why is that significant? They were 40-12 at the All Star Break and finished the year with a 16-14 record including a 6-9 record in their last 15 games. - The Western Conference is loaded. The worst team in the West playoffs, Dallas (49-33) would have finished third in the East. - The Miami Heat look vulnerable ...

NBA trade deadline winners/losers: Pacers make another move toward dethroning Heat Indiana Pacers They hit the home run of the trade deadline by acquiring Shooting Guard Evan Turner along with center Lavoy Allen from the Philadelphia 76ers for injury-riddled forward Danny Granger. In Turner, the Eastern Conference leaders add a well-rounded player presumably to their bench who is averaging 17.6 points, 6 rebounds and 3.7 assists. The Pacers are hoping that Turner, who is making $6.6 million in the final year of his contract, could be the added punch that gets them past the reigning Champion Miami Heat in the East. Granger is averaging 8.3 points while making $14 million in the last year of his contract. Andre Miller Miller had no interest in mending fences with the Denver Nuggets after being sent away following his verbal dust-up toward first-year coach Brian Shaw. Miller not only got the trade he was hoping for, but also landed with an East team capable of making some noise in the postseason in the Washi ...

James was the most voted and Curry will debut alongside Bryant Drafting Sports ( USA ) , Jan 24 ( Reuters) - . Cavs acquire Luol Deng in trade with Bulls... There's some shifting going on in the Eastern Conference, and when the Wizards face the Chicago Bulls on Monday at United Center they'll look different. Luol Deng, two-time All-Star forward who hadn't received the max extension he wanted from the Bulls in his 10th season, won't be there. "We have great respect for Luol Deng, as a player and a person. He has been an incredible contributor to our team on the court, and he has also done great things in the community," said Gar Forman, Bulls general manager in a statement. "On behalf of the entire Bulls organization, I want to thank Luol for his years in Chicago." Andrew Bynum, acquired from the Cleveland Cavaliers, is expected to be released, making him a free agent. The move helps the Bulls clear out room under the salary cap, as much as $15 million, because Bynum's contract isn't fully guaranteed. While Bynum loses money in the transaction he can find a home with a championship-caliber team such as Miami Heat, ...

LeBron (ankle) misses practice Lebron James sat out of the Miami Heat's light practice Tuesday to rest his sore left ankle, and he's considered questionable for Wednesday's game against the Indiana Pacers. James sustained the injury late in the third quarter of Monday's 117-94 victory against the Utah Jazz when he tripped over his own foot while attempting to drive to the basket in transition. James left the court and sat out the first seven minutes of the fourth quarter before returning and finishing the game. The defending champs are trying to three-peat. The four-time league MVP is expected to receive treatment throughout Tuesday and into Wednesday before his status is determined for the matchup between the teams with the best records in the Eastern Conference. The Pacers beat the Heat 90-84 last week in Indianapolis. Speaking after Tuesday's practice, James said his ankle felt "about the same" as it did Monday night and that he would not have played if the Heat had a game Tuesday. "Very stiff, very so ...

The Brooklyn Nets and the New York Knicks have identical records at 3-6. These are the teams that were to have been contending for their division and challenge the Miami Heat for the Eastern Conference. Of course, everyone would tell you it is too early to panic, after all the season is only 9 games old. However, both teams have displayed some disturbing trends. The Nets have problems winning on the road and the Knicks can't seem to win at home. Both teams seemed to have been out coached in each of their losses. Both teams have new players that seem to be unable to fit into their team's plans. In the case of the Brooklyn Nets, both Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce have been unable to play the roles the team thought they were capable of when they were acquired. Despite all of the fanfare and the talks of winning a championship, although they beat the Heat in their first meeting this season, the Nets continue to have problems beating teams they are supposed to beat. Brook Lopez seems to be playing well, but t ...
John Michael`s a.k.a. The Ch1cken D1nner`s FREE SPORTS INFORMATION for the 2013-2014 NBA Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference: Miami Heat Preview: My Prediction 69-13 Division Champions/with david stern gone no 3peat When Lebron James and Chris Bosh decided to piggy back on Dwayne Wade`s back, who had already won a NBA title back in 2006, as a part of the whole 2010 decision, to take over the weakest division in the league the Southeast Division, there was no doubt they were going to win a championship, after being defeated by the Dallas Mavericks later that year, they turned to a proven winner (2001 NCAA Champion) and well respected professional who in my own personal opinion is one of the good guys in the league, Shane Battier, who at the time was a 11 year veteran, and in that series shot 61% from the field, 57% from downtown, and 71% from the charity stripe, scoring 58 points, along with 17 rebounds, 4 steals, and 2 assists, through 5 games, he was only averaging 4.8 points a game and 2.4 rebo ...

Heat looking for 4th straight Finals trip October 22, 2013 MIAMI -- Anytime an NBA franchise is trying to do something only previously done by the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers, that's rarefied air. That's what the Miami Heat are trying to reach this season. After going to the Nba Finals in each of the past three seasons -- winning the last two titles -- the Heat now aim to join an exclusive club. Only the Celtics, from 1957-66 and again from 1984-87, and the Lakers, from 1982-85, have made at least four consecutive trips to the championship series. "It would mean everything, man," said Heat forward Lebron James. "First of all, it means that I'm doing my part and I'm helping our team get better. It would mean everything to our team. That's what we're here for. We work our tails off every day. If it can pay off with another Finals appearance, we'd represent the Eastern Conference the best way we can." Miami was taken to the limit twice in last season's playoffs, needing to prevail in Game 7s to bea ...
Here my Eastern Conference standings predictions for the 2013-2014 season. 1. Miami Heat- Lebron James. Chris Bosh. Dwayne Wade. Oh and they pretty much replaced Jwuan Howard and Mike Miller with Greg Oden and Michael Beasley. 2. Indiana Pacers- Another year for Paul George to improve. Can also say the same about Roy Hibbert. Danny Granger is back. Replaced Psycho T with a better back up PF, Luis Scola. Added CJ Watson, Chris Copeland. Stacked team. 3. Chicago Bulls- Derrick Rose is back. MVP Candidate, healthy Deng, Noah, and Hinrich. Had an underrated free agent signing with Mike Dunleavy Jr. They also have the 3rd best coach in the league. 4. Brooklyn Nets- Just look at their starting 5. They finished 4th in the East last year. And had Reggie Evans at PF. Now Kevin Garnett plays PF. Could be a top 3 team. But can Kidd coach them. And will it work. Probably the most stacked team in the NBA other then Miami. But Lakers did this last year and they finished 7th in the west. 5. New York Knicks- Carmelo Anth ...
NBA Pre Season Predictions 13-14 Season Here it is, these are our predictions for the 13-14 NBA season after following the draft, summer league pre-season games and roster changes and how we think this season will pan out for the teams contending for a ring this coming June. Also you will find our Top 5 MVP candidates. Eastern Conference: 1. Miami Heat. Obviously you can’t look past the 2 time defending champions with the best player on the planet as we speak and his 4 MVPs. They did lose a valuable piece in Mike Miller who will return to the Grizzlies over in Memphis. Key resigning of Chris “birdman” Anderson is a great sign for him on a personal level and the trust the heat organisation have in him to continue to play at a high level bringing energy, shot blocking and rebounding on a nightly basis. Greg Oden will finally get another shot at playing more than half the season after the multiple knee surgeries he has had to endure since he was taken in the 07 draft. I don’t think anyone knows how h ...
The Daily Texan - Eastern Conference preview - In the past 40 years, no team has won the Nba Finals for four consecutive seasons. That is the challenge the Miami Heat are currently facing. But after Lebron James mentioned in the Heat’s preseason press conference that he “got better once again,” I have very little doubt the Heat will once again represent the East. James playfully added in the press conference that he “won’t reveal what he ha...
NO DEAL FOR DENG MEANS DRAMA FOR BULLS. Regardless of how well the players and the coaches fended off the distraction of it, the Chicago Bulls’ 2012-13 season was preoccupied, overshadowed and generally beholden to one question: “Is Derrick back?” Odds are good, as of Tuesday, that 2013-14 will be colored by a variation on that query, as in: “Is Deng gone?” With reports that talks of a contract extension between Luol Deng and the Bulls have broken off [CSNChicago.com], followed up by agent Herb Rudoy‘s quote that the All-Star forward “will definitely go through” free agency next summer [Chicago Tribune], a team that grappled with considerable unknowns last season assured itself of a fat one for this year. What it means to the depth and cohesiveness of the Bulls as they try to chase down the Miami Heat and a couple other improving Eastern Conference contenders remains to be seen. But it adds drama where there might have been none. Derrick Rose, obviously, is the fulcrum on which this season ...
Who is the Deepest Team in the Eastern Conference?
Miami Heat 🔥 advances to Eastern Conference Finals for third straight -season
The Indiana Pacers drafted Solomon Hill, F, University of Arizona and Colton Iverson from Colorado State. never heard of either player but lets hope this gives us enough depth to get over the Eastern Conference hump aka the Miami Heat. Lets do this, 2013 - 2014 Pacers.
Congratulations to the Miami Heat? They stacked up several all-stars, ruined the Eastern Conference and recreated the scenario where all the best children on the playground group together so that they feel secure. There is an asterisk by their so-called "championships".
The Miami Heat represent everything that is wrong with America, cheat your way to the top and people will *** ride you for doing it. Work for nothing, and take the easiest way out. These guys knew a year prior that they were going to team up and tried to make it look like they were considering other teams. Their fans are fake, the games seemed staged, and they are probably the most disliked Championship Team in NBA history. But hey they won right? Congrats on the Eastern Conference all stars . I mean the Miami Heat for a thrilling victory LOL
It all comes down to this. Deadlocked at three games apiece, the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs play one more for the 2013 championship (9 p.m. ET, ABC). How will Game 7 go down? We ask seven of our star players seven questions on a big seventh game. 1. Is this is the biggest game of LeBron's career? Henry Abbott, TrueHoop: It's Game 7 of the NBA freaking Finals. What could be bigger, you know? That said, a year ago he had already starred in a messianic "Witness" Nike campaign while simultaneously on the path to ringless Karl Malone-dom. A catastrophic street cred mismatch. So his first title will always be the biggest, 'cause that's the one that proved his internal wiring and titles go together just fine. J.A. Adande, ESPN.com: No. For now and perhaps forever that label applies to Game 6 of last year's Eastern Conference Finals. Without one of the great individual efforts in playoff history, LeBron would still be ringless. Now that would have made this the biggest game of his career. Sebastian Christen ...
Sort Of Miami Heat Related: John Wall is seeking a sign and deal trade with the Wizards so he can play for the Knicks, in exchange the Knicks lose Raymond Felton and/or Amar'e Stoudemire. Wow, if this trade goes through, then I'm really worried for our Miami Heat next year, to match-up probably against John Wall, Carmelo Anthony, Tyson Chandler, Iman Shumpert, and J.R Smith, that would be a huge challenge in the Eastern Conference.
Miami Heat are the first Eastern Conference team to make 3 straight Nba Finals since 1996-98 Bulls~ Micheal Jordan Scottie Pippen Steve Kerr Dennis Rodman Lebron James
Lebron James goes up to shoot against Ian Mahinmi (via REUTERS/Joe Skipper) IND 70-96 MIA, 2:17 4Q. This Game 7 is so exciting between Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers. During Half Time, Lebron did a handshake with David Beckham. Wow Thats great! I wish Miami Heat will win this Eastern Conference.
It's so funny how Miami's roster is STACKED, and they STILL are struggling to get out of the weak Eastern Conference.

Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade will not be suspended for elbowing Indiana Pacers guard Lance Stephenson in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
By: JOE COWLEY jcowleyNate Robinson. Arrivederci, Marco Belinelli. Good luck, Rip Hamilton. Hardly knew you, Daequan Cook. ‘‘We’ll see what the market calls for,’’ Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said repeatedly Thursday, one day after the Miami Heat sent the Bulls home for summer vacation by topping them 4-1 in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. What the market calls for is some painful losses in the backcourt, with Robinson, Belinelli and Cook all free agents and the Bulls holding a $5 million option on Hamilton that they have no intention of picking up. So who’s in and who’s out when it comes to the changing of the guards that’s about to occur this offseason? Unfortunately, the losses are going to hurt. WHO’S COMING BACK Derrick Rose Rose’s torn anterior cruciate ligament and the aftermath have been a public relations nightmare for the 2011 NBA MVP. The soap opera dragged on way too long. But all will be forgiven once Rose steps on the court next preseason — bigger, stronger and maybe e ...

When the Miami Heat faced the Indiana Pacers in the playoffs last season, the series featured two suspensions, a host of flagrant fouls and plenty of blood. It appears the Eastern Conference Finals between the teams is already heating up.
Can Paul George, David West and the rest of the Indiana Pacers upset the favored Miami Heat? (AP photo) When everyone thought that the Eastern Conference will come down to Miami and New York in the Conference Finals, well here is Indiana spoiling the party. They see themselves as competitors in the Playoffs for a second consecutive season, but this time with much at stake – a spot in the Nba Finals. The Pacers won the season series 2-1. Together with New York, they were the only two teams that were able to beat Miami twice this season. The Pacers’ only loss came as they became among the Heat’s casualties in their historical 27-game winning streak. But they now face a newly improved Miami lineup. Let us take a closer look on these two teams heading into battle. Miami Heat As expected, the Heat were able to manhandle the Chicago Bulls by blowing them away in five games and winning 45 of their last 48 games. It was rough at the beginning and the Bulls eventually ran out of gas heading into the next gam ...

Well they have announced the NBA all-star teams today. That means it's time for me to name a team that's actually based on you know...performance. So, here we go. Rob names a legitimate all-star team that would (likely) result in an extremely entertaining game if the players put their hearts into it. I will use the same 12 player format the NBA uses. Eastern Conference starters: Point Guard: Kyrie Irving(Cleveland Cavaliers) I didn't think he was worth the top pick in the draft, but he's definitely proven me wrong. Good on him. Shooting Guard: Dwyane Wade(Miami Heat) Small Forward: Lebron James(Miami Heat) Best player in the league as usual. Shocker. Power Forward: Andray Blatche(Brooklyn Nets) Jesus I had no idea how bereft this position was until I looked. Center: Brook Lopez(Brooklyn Nets) I think it's so funny how much the talk about the Nets centers around Deron Williams and Joe Johnson...and it's the frontcourt doing most the heavy lifting. Eastern Conference reserves: Kemba Walker(Charlotte Bo ...
Mid-Season Reviews: At the technical mid-point of the season, I think it’s time to have a look back at the first half of the season and pick out the best teams, the most surprising and the worst teams. Also, at this time I see who is on my MVP ladder at this stage of the season and which of the rookies have performed the best this season. Eastern Conference: Best Team- Miami Heat (Record: 26-12) The Heat have been playing beautifully of late, despite a few slip ups against lower teams such as Washington. Lebron James has once again led this team beautifully, adding mightily on the offensive and the defensive sides of the floor. With also some solid contributions from Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh as well as from the bench, the Heat are beautifully poised to go deep into the Playoffs and have a chance to defend their NBA title. The Surprise Packet- Chicago Bulls (Record: 24-16) Yes, the Bulls are playing without Derrick Rose and yes they were all but written off pre-season, but the Chicago Bulls are 8 games ...
Nice finishing win by the Miami Heat over the Wizards! Still no.1 in the Eastern Conference.. Next stop, 6 road games vs. Pacers, Blazers, Kings, Jazz, Warriors & Lakers.. Can't wait to see LBJ & KB battle each other!!!:-)
Last years NBA Champions, the Miami Heat, had a team meeting a rebounding today. The Miami Heat, who are the first overall ranking in the Eastern Conference, are ranked last in the NBA at rebounding! Head coach Erik Spoelstra said, "This is something that we're going to fix. We're improving in so many other areas, particularly offensively, but rebounding's the area that has to take the priority right now." 3 time MVP Lebron James said (talking about rebounding), "We've got to go out and do it. If the ball is in your region, try to go up and get it. If not, box out your guy and let somebody else go get it." All-Star center Chris Bosh said, "On Sunday we must win, and we must rebound to win." The Heat have been out rebounded by margins of 15, 17, 19, 20, and 29 this season! The Heat have gone 4-1 in those games (only losing to the Bulls where they were outrebounded by 20.) What are your thoughts on this? -Carter
Dylan's NBA standings review: The Indiana Pacers are currently 17-12 and 4th in the Eastern Conference, without Danny Granger? Not to mention no help from Roy Hibbert, as he has a nagging hand injury. With Gerald Green finally finding some confidence, the Pacers bench is improving, but once Granger comes back, they could be improved more than anyone else expects. As Paul George moves into Granger's spot as SF, Lance Stephenson has taken over at SG for Indiana. Stephenson is averaging 7.4 PPG, which may not sound great, but let's remember Stephenson has only played for a few years now, and he has been finding his groove recently. So when Granger comes back, the Pacers not only have their star scorer and leader back, but more talent on the bench with Stephenson being moved down. David West and Paul George's numbers have improved from last year's team that took the NBA Champion Miami Heat to 6 games in the second round of the playoffs. As long Hibbert progresses, and Indiana finds a backup for George Hill, t ...
Miami Heat lost from Golden State Warriors and they are 2nd in NBA Eastern Conference
Carmelo came back into the Knicks lineup after missing two games against Eastern Conference rivals, the reigning Miami Heat and the Chicago Bulls. The Knicks destroyed the reigning champs by a 20 point deficit, and lost a game full of turnovers and bad shooting to the Bulls. Melo played 39 minutes in tonight's win against Denver, and dropped 34 points while going 10 for 24 from the field. Melo also wrapped in 6 rebounds and 2 steals in his first game back from receiving five stitches in one of his fingers, which he suffered while diving to save a ball in a game against the Charlotte Bobcats. Chandler collected another double-double, while also adding to a great rebounding week, coming off of an 18 rebound performance in Chicago. JR Smith collected 15 points and 9 rebounds in tonight's win against the Denver Nuggets. The New York Knicks took a three and a half game lead on the Brooklyn Nets in the Eastern Atlantic Conference. New York will next face the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday.
Great 112-92 win for at Miami Heat! Still nr. 1 in Eastern Conference with a 14-4 record. Now it's time to sleep.
I want the NBA season to end rite now, cause, this is the playoffs matchup will look like after 10-13 games of the regular season, in the eastern conference, seed Miami Heat-seed Charlotte Bobcats, seed Brooklyn Nets-seed Boston Celtics, seed New York Knicks-seed Philadelphia 76ers, and finally the seed Milwaukee Bucks-seed Atlanta Hawks, thats the Eastern Conference playoff picture as of right now. For the Western Conference playoff picture its seed Memphis Grizzlies-seed Los Angles Lakers, seed San Antonio Spurs-seed Utah Jazz, seed Oklahoma City Thunder-seed Denver Nuggets and finally the seed Golden State Warriors-Los Angles Clippers, thats how the Nba Playoffs should look like at season end in April, and I hope I'm right as of right now

TNT's Charles Barkley: Celtics have legit chance to beat Miami Heat in East The Miami Heat may be the homecoming kings, but the Boston Celtics are still in the court. During a Tuesday afternoon conference call with TNT analysts Reggie Miller, Shaquille O'Neal and Charles Barkley, all three felt strongly that the Celtics would give Lebron James' Heat a strong challenge for the Eastern Conference crown. "LeBron covers up a lot of weaknesses because he's so physically amazing, but Boston to me has a legit chance of beating them," Charles Barkley said. "I think the Miami-Boston series to me is a toss-up. Boston has great depth, they have great size in [Jared] Sullinger and Fab Melo in the draft. I think the most underrated player in the NBA is Jeff Green. I know he didn't play last year, I loved him in Oklahoma City. When he got to Boston he went late into the year so he really never got comfortable. I think he is going to be fantastic." New York has been a focal point with the inaugural season for the Brookl ...

From Social Reader's Editors: Update: Ray Allen did, in fact, sign with the Miami Heat. Read more about , loyalty in pro sports, and how the Celtics might fare without him. - Ray Allen has left Miami without a contract. According to Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com, Allen met with Heat officials in Miami for the majority of Thursday, but left on Friday without signing his name on the dotted line. Windhorst's sources said Allen can't decide if he should join the Heat or return to Boston, where he has played since 2007: The sources did not go into specifics, saying Allen is torn because remaining a Celtic is still very much an option. Windhorst went on to add that the most Miami could give Allen is a three-year, $9.5 million deal to play alongside Lebron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. The defending champs have assured Allen extensive playing time. The Celtics can toss a two-year, $12 million contract in his direction. Despite signing Jason Terry, the organization believes both players can co-exist and play t ...

The Indiana Pacers have quietly tinkered with their team, putting themselves in prime position to be the chief threat to knock off the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference.
Breaking up is hard to do, just ask Boston Celtics fans. Hoops fans in Beantown are having a particularly hard time with Ray Allen’s decision to sign with the Celtics’ chief rival in the Eastern Conference - the Miami Heat.
The Knicks organization are *** How they gonna treat Lin like he is expendable? Yeah, he didn't run in the playoffs when he could have. Yeah, he negotiated with the Rockets, but come on son... You fire D'Antoni and remove what could've been potentially a young run n gun game similar to Nash/Stoudamire including Melo for what? An old *** Jason Kidd and confused Point Guard game in Felton? J Lin may not be as effective in the West and that'll make Knick fans feel like he was a fluke or stroke of luck. Yet, he would be effective on the east and may still do work for the Rockets in the long run. The Knicks basically just told the Miami Heat " no thanks, we don't feel like being a contender this year... The eastern conference is all yours. " smh... Go Pacers! LoL

Miami Heat: I've hated you since Pat Reilly and Jamal Mashburn, so don't call me a bandwagon hater. Glad you got your ring so ESPN can stop talking about it 367 days a year. But don't think for a second this is the beginning of a dynasty, it's only a matter of time before somebody else in the Eastern Conference with a bigger pocketbook brings you back down to Earth.

My team goes through a lot of criticism and harsh judgement everyday, in every game...but they still manage to move forward. More importantly, my team has REACHED the Nba Finals this year. How about YOUR team? =)
Thank you for all your brthday greetings! Pasensiya na I was not able to reply right away. Medyo masama kasi ang loob ko sa pagkatalo ni Pacquiao. I made a bet and lost. Tapos natalo ang Kings sa Game 5 and to top it all of Miami Heat ang nanalo sa Eastern Conference (groan!!). I did not feel like celebrating at all. Pero ngayon medyo okay na. The Kings finally won Game 6 and LA has the Stanley Cup at nanalo ang OKC sa Game 1 ng Nba Finals. And Pacquiao was gracious in defeat...so everything is rosy again. Thank you, peeps! I love you all.
