The White House (yes, that White House) in Washington is widely believed to be haunted by former presidents and relatives who don’t want to leave the world’s most famous address. The L.A. Times reported that Michelle Obama experienced supernatural happenings at the White House. Former resident Hillary Rodham Clinton said, "There is something about the house at night that you just feel like you are summoning up the spirits of all the people who have lived there and worked there and walked through the halls there." Many, most notably Lady Bird Johnson, Eleanor Roosevelt and Winston Churchill have seen or felt the ghost of Abraham Lincoln. Abigail Adams is known to haunt the East Room, and William Henry Harrison is often heard in the attic. Portions of the White House are open for tours, but many of the haunted areas are off-limits. The other “most haunted” sites include ships, cemeteries, prisons and theaters, as well as Highway 666 in the southwestern United States, and Salem, Mass.

"Our military families truly represent the very best that this country has to offer, and I've seen it up close," Mrs. Obama said. "You all do so much for this country, and you do it with such amazing poise and grace."

On Monday August 20, 2012 First Lady Michelle Obama will be hosting the first ever Kids’ “State Dinner” at the White House welcoming 54 budding chefs to a formal luncheon in the East Room! The guests, who are aged 8-12, represent all U.S. states, three territories and the District of Columbia, and each of them (and their parents) is all and well at the White House. No money worries. Everything is great when you can hold a State Dinner for kids while the country is $16,000,000,000 in debt. That is trillion right?
