Dwight David Ike Eisenhower (October 14, 1890 – March 28, 1969) was the 34th President of the United States from 1953 until 1961. He had previously been a five-star general in the United States Army during World War II, and served as Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in Europe; he had responsibility for planning and supervising the invasion of North Africa in Operation Torch in 1942–43 and the successful invasion of France and Germany in 1944–45, from the Western Front. Ok I am going to weigh in on the Presidential Election. You can agree or disagree that is ok but here are the qualities I want in my President: The Patriotic Passion of Patrick Henry ("Give me Liberty or Give me Death") The Fiscal Acumen of Lee Iacocca (brought Chrysler back from the brink of disaster and Paid back government backed loans 7 years early) The Common sense of Will Rogers ( American writer and actor) The Leadership skills of Dwight D Eisenhower ( American Supreme Allied Commander during WWII and President of the US ) The Compassion Of Mother Theresa ( Catholic nun who spent her entire life helping the poor) and The Sense of Humor of Larry the Cable Guy ( you got to have a sense of humor to work in DC) When I see these qualities in a Presidential candidate they will get my vote without hesitation . until then it is a toss up .. I will flip a coin !
