True that! Dustin Brown, Zach Parise & Ryan Getzlaf didn't have half the AHL career Hugh Jessiman had!
Hugh Jessimen over Dustin Brown, Ryan Getzlaf, Corey Perry, Brent Seabrook, and Zach Parise?! Look how that made out..
Oh dear god Another example of exaggerated diving when good well mannered cherubic Dustin Brown nudges one of theirs n down he goes n we get a penalty Zach Parise gets a blatant elbow n no call Yup playing "Russian hockey" Bunch of Sally's
SOCHI, Russia -- Five thoughts from Team USA's dominant 7-1 win over Slovakia: 1. Kane-Kesler killing it: Yes, Phil Kessel led the Americans in their dismantling of Slovakia on a goal and two assists, including a nice drop pass to set up the game's first goal by John Carlson. But the guy who was most impressive in the surprising blowout win was Patrick Kane. His handling of the puck on the wider ice in Sochi was a treat to see, and coach Dan Bylsma clearly is sold on the Kane-Ryan Kesler duo as a keeper. The two finished the 2010 Vancouver Olympics playing together, and they picked up where they left off, enjoying a dynamic game Thursday. Kane had two assists, and Kesler and Dustin Brown each had a goal. If both of Team USA's big lines keep rolling, it will put a lot of pressure on the Russian defense Saturday. But keep your eye on Kane, who could be adding to his already impressive hockey résumé. 2. Stastny kicks it down: Great start for Paul Stastny, who had two goals against the country in which both ...
SOCHI, Russia -- With just one game to prepare for its Olympic showdown with Russia, the United States men's hockey team decided to cram an entire tournament's worth of hard work and highlights into one spectacular opener. Paul Stastny scored twice during a six-goal barrage in the second period, and the Americans got off to a roaring start in Sochi with a 7-1 victory over Slovakia in preliminary-round play Thursday. Ryan Kesler, David Backes, Phil Kessel and Dustin Brown also scored as the U.S. battered Slovakia for six consecutive goals in a 13:51 span, turning what was expected to be a tough matchup into a laugher with their relentless offense. "I guess you never really expect to beat a team like that 7-1, and you never do it in a tournament like this," captain Zach Parise said. "We just capitalized on the chances we had, moved the puck well and used our speed." Although their goal celebrations declined from elation to excitement to sheepishness while the score skyrocketed, the Americans answered any li ...

Its crazy to think about who we could of had if we didnt draft Thomas Vanek 5th in 2003. Corey Perry,Mike Richards,Ryan Kesler,Ryan Getzlaf,Zach Parise,Dustin Brown,Dion Phaneuf,Ryan Suter just to name a few.
Poile: Captain and alternates likely come from this group for Team USA: Ryan Callahan, Dustin Brown, Zach Parise, Ryan Suter, David Backes.
Jeff Carter, Dustin Brown, Zach Parise, Mike Richards, Milan Michalek, Thomas Vanek all part of that 03 draft
It's draft picks like this that makes me understand why the New York Rangers try to buy the Cup every season Obscure Former Player of the Week NHL history is filled with legendary players whose stories are passed down from generation to generation. This is not one of those players. In honor of this weekend’s NHL draft, this week’s obscure player is Hugh Jessiman. This year marks the 10th anniversary of quite possibly the most stacked entry draft in NHL history. How stacked? Put it this way: Zach Parise, Ryan Kesler, Mike Richards, Corey Perry, and Ryan Getzlaf were all taken in the last half of the first round. The first half was too loaded with guys like Eric Staal, Ryan Suter, Jeff Carter, Dustin Brown, and Brent Seabrook. Prospects like Shea Weber, Patrice Bergeron, and Jimmy Howard had to wait until the second round. And then there was Hugh Jessiman. Jessiman went to the Rangers with the 12th overall pick (just ahead of Brown and Seabrook). He was a massive winger, whose 6-foot-6 frame earned him ...
I was just looking at the 2003 NHL Draft. Dustin Brown, Zach Parise, Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry were all selected after Jeff Carter...
Hey guys you deserve a little hockey analysis before i leave to go study. so for all you fantasy hockey players here you go. First my bold predictions for the year. Phil Kessel will be top 10 at the end of the year in points. This IS Patrick Kanes breakout year. He will finish top 5 in goals assists and points. Henrick Lundquist will have the worst year of his career. Roberto Loungo will be traded, Cory Schnieder will be the guy in Vancuver. Dustin Brown will be mediocre for the Kings. Red Wings will be atrocious. T.J. Oshie will be absolutely phenomenal. Zach Parise does not perform like a second rounder. (he does worse. Finally, if you have not drafted yet pick T.J. Yoshie. he is not highly ranked on ESPN and he will be a stud. He is the biggest sleeper. He is the only scoring the Blues have. Also get Kane and Hossa. They will both be absolutely unbelievable. Get rid of Anze Kopitar. Will be very overrated this year. Do get Antoine Vermette from the Coyotes. He will have a breakout year. Also Oliver Ekm ...
the New York Rangers took Hugh Jessiman before Dustin Brown, Brent Seabrook and Zach Parise
Zach Parise and Dustin Brown in the AHL back in 2005
Congrats to the LA Kings but I think in the long run this is a win for American hockey with some of the best players being Dustin Brown, Zach Parise and Jonathan Quick
also, we would like to propose the USA a trade, Nickelback for Zach Parise and Dustin Brown
Dustin Brown lands the first big hit of the Final with a jolt into opposing captain Zach Parise.
Captains America: A first in final history, both teams have captains born in U.S.: NJ Zach Parise and LA Dustin Brown
Who would you rather have.. Dustin Brown or Zach Parise? leaf fans answer: Phil Kessel.
And one last read, my piece on Zach Parise &Dustin Brown and their impact on USA hockey
Which American born captain will be the first to raise the Stanley Cup for their team? Zach Parise or Dustin Brown?

Last American to raise the Cup as a captain was Derian Hatcher. Zach Parise (C) and Dustin Brown (C) are both American.
"Players to Watch: The Captains". Dustin Brown or Zach Parise will be hoisting the Stanley Cup in the next 2 weeks and whoever is that guy will deserve much credit. Dustin Brown is not a flashy player. He's not big. However, he has great speed and is one of hte hardest hitters in the league pound for pound. He is not a one dimensional energy player though. He has scored 20+ goals in each of the last 5 seasons. In the playoffs, he is second in the league in scoring and he has been lethal shorthanded.. a major reason why the Kings are in the Final. Zach Parise's offensive prowess is well documented. He has been a 45 goal scorer and is a 5-time 30 goal scoreer. He is tied with Dustin Brown for second in playoff goal scoring. While his goal production was a little down in the regular season this year, his value to the Devils has not diminished. He is the unquestioned leader of his team. He always appears to be the hardest worker on the ice. There's no better way to lead than being the best player on your te ...
For the first time ever, the Stanley Cup Finals will include an American-born captain on each team (Dustin Brown-L.A.; Zach Parise-NJ). Which captain would you like to see win the Cup?
I can't wait to see Dustin Brown high stick Zach Parise in the face
Zach Parise or Dustin Brown will be 2nd American to captain Stanley Cup Champion (Derian Hatcher, Dalls Stars '99)
Zach Parise and Dustin Brown were both Americans, thus guaranteeing a Cup will be lifted by a US captain since Derian Hatcher in 1999.
I can't possibly say who will win the cup this year, but I can say that If there is one guy who can out work Dustin Brown, it's Zach Parise.
I hope Dustin Brown burrows an elbow in Zach Parise's jaw
NJ captain Zach Parise & LA captain Dustin Brown are Americans. Both didn't touch the Conference Finals trophy. LA has more playoff beards.
Also pretty sure Devils have fewest Canadian-born players in the league. "Dustin Brown vs. Zach Parise. America."
Great to see two Americans as captains in the Stanley Cup in Dustin Brown and Zach Parise. Great day for USA hockey.
David Backes would get consideration for Assistant Captain, but for Captain its a 2 horse race, Zach Parise n Dustin Brown.
Dustin Brown gets the same treatment. See also Ryan Callahan for NYR and Zach Parise for NJD. NBC tries to create stars.
Dustin Brown, Ryan Callahan, and Zach Parise are all swell guys but seeing Shane Doan get handed the Cup by Gary Bettman would be classic.
Three American captains (Zach Parise, Dustin Brown, Ryan Callahan) and one Canadian (Shane Doan) left in Conference Finals. Only one American has captained his team to a Stanley Cup (Derian Hatcher, 1999 Dallas)
Unlimited Calling US/Canada phone service
3 of the final 4 NHL teams are captained by Americans: LA's Dustin Brown, NYR's Ryan Callahan, NJ's Zach Parise
One of Ryan Callahan, Zach Parise, Shane Doan or Dustin Brown will be raising the cup
The Stanley Cup will probably be raised by an American captain, Dustin Brown, Zach Parise, or Ryan Callahan...Parise is beardless...
Patrick Kane, Zach Parise, Dustin Brown and David Backes are the best American hockey players in the league.
Habs hired their new GM today and its Marc Bergevin, and he says he will keep his Head Scout Trevor Timmins but honestly, he should fire him, the year they drafted Andrei Kostitsyn was 2003 at 10th overall, and the players available after him was Jeff Carter, Dustin Brown, Brent Seabrooke, Zach Parise, Ryan Kesler, Ryan Getzlaf Mike Richards and Corey Perry... Patrice Bergeron and Shea Weber were available in the 2nd round..LOL!
