I want to plan a trip to Kentucky and West Virginia once the dust settles a bit in North Dakota. I have only been in that part of the country during the winter months once and really liked the aqua blue/green ice that comes out of the mountains. I also like the fact that you can actually see the mountains through the trees as opposed to summer months. When I worked there in the winter, I did alot of hiking on up Dingess Rum Creek near Logan, WV and found alot of neat stuff. I will dig out my photos from then. I'm thinking it might be late fall/winter/early spring. Alot of kin folks I need to meet and alot of sight seeing I want to do.
