Here are the lies about Social Security in Donald Trump's new nationwide ad
Donald Trump with a Republican Congress will definitely also vaporize Social Security checks like a predatory casino.
What d'ya know, Donald Trump supports Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and rebuilding our infrastructure
Donald Trump on Obamacare: Let me get this straight. We're going to be "gifted" with a Health Care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, which purportedly covers at least 10 million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it, but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a Dumbo president who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a Surgeon General who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke. What the *** could possibly go wrong?
For all of Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan's talk about Republicans needing to produce a budget with a clear vision of the party's principles, a conservative confab in New Hampshire proved the House Budget Committee chairman's vision is far from universal. At the Freedom Summit in Manchester, N.H., on Saturday, two of the top likely GOP presidential candidates — Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz — refused to endorse Ryan's proposed budget or call for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to bring it up for discussion. Real-estate mogul Donald Trump openly attacked Ryan and his budget in a speech, and his remarks were well received. Trump portrayed Ryan's budget as shredding Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. He warned the conservative attendees of the political peril of those positions. "I think he's a very nice person," Trump said of Ryan. "But his whole stance is to knock the *** out of Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. And the Democrats love it. They love it. They just sit back
You might have seen the email that said: "Bernie is going to Manchester, N.H., on Saturday at the invitation of St. Anselm College for a town meeting on the collapse of the American middle class and the growing gap in wealth and income in the United States. In the same town on the same day, the billionaire brothers Charles and David Koch are bankrolling a day-long "Freedom Summit" featuring Sen. Ted Cruz, Donald Trump and an all-star cast of other Tea Party favorites. It's not widely known, but before using the family fortune to launch the Tea Party, David Koch was the 1980 Libertarian Party candidate for Vice President. Here's the bad news: the extreme, anti-middle-class agenda proposed by Koch in 1980, when he got only 1 percent of the vote, has become mainstream for Republicans today: abolish Medicare and Medicaid, repeal Social Security, put the Postal Service out of business, eliminate campaign funding limits, etc. "If the middle class of this country is to survive, the right-wing extremist agenda of ...
Hannelore Morton There were well over 100 lawsuits that challenged Barack Obama’s place on the ballot in 2008 and 2012. These lawsuits contained a plethora of constitutional reasons why the man now occupying the White House should not have been on the ballot. Unfortunately, there were also a plethora of reasons why the lawsuits were dismissed and ignored – most of them revealing more about the judges and their disregard for the Constitution than the Usurper himself. Of course we are all familiar with the “birther” allegations that were primarily dismissed through bully tactics rather than honest debate – even claiming men such as Donald Trump as their victims. Upon closer examination, the charges brought against the Imperial President ranged from the birther claims, to his possession of an illicit Social Security number, to a forged birth certificate, and dual citizenship – all of which should have disqualified him from being on the ballot and would have prevented him from usurping our system ...
Sequester -- This means cut benefits for the poor and the people who need benefits. - Why not cut the benefits for the rich? Stop making Social Security payments to people who don't need it. Do billionaires like Bill Gates, Warren Buffett or Donald Trump need Social Security payments? Stop making farm payments to people (millionaires) who don't need it. Stop paying unemployment insurance to millionaires. Stop buying weapons for other nations...
I would personally like to thank each of you who voted for President Obama and pushed Congress to adopt ObamaCare! Because of you I will now be $28.00 a month lighter in my monthly pay due to hours being cut to aviod the necessity of my employer providing Health Care. That comes out to $336.00 annually. Do you know what I could do with $336.00? Maybe make a car payment, or buy clothes for my kids, or maybe invest it to help with my retirement funding. I would also like to thank you for the 2% increase in my Social Security taxes as a result of the passage of the Fiscal Cliff Deal. Please add to that my gratitude for the additional taxes I am going to have to pay on stock dividends through the increase in capital gains on money that was already taxed as profit. For the record I am not Mitt Romney, I am not Warren Buffet, I am not Donald Trump, I am not Oprah, *** I don't even sniff making $250,000 a year. Weren't they the ones going to feel the squeeze. "No American who makes less than $250,000 a year ...
As a Thanksgiving treat, Terry Lundgren wants to gut Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security.
Romney won the debate, he did. He ditched the GOP and went to the center. He will repeal ObamaCare but keep all the good things which we like it has ... and he will (pass some plan &) pay for it somehow, you'll see. He'll repeal Dodd-Frank, but believes in most of the government regulations which it has to protect the taxpayer/citizen... he will (now) support & protect Medicare, Social Security & the middle-class & the middle-class & the middle-class ,,, and he will reduce everybody's taxes by 20% ("not $5 trillion") and it won't cost anyone, anything (except BigBird), and he will protect "small business" owners including the income bracket of Donald Trump. Nothing new here (for five years), Mitt will say anything to have the title of president.
Chris Hayes on the hypocrisy of Social Security, inheritance and trust fund recipients Ayn Rand and Paul Ryan: “What bothers me so much is the ridiculous self-serving selective vision of those that have benefited from personal privilege, social connection, family name and, yes, the welfare state constantly hectoring others to sink or swim on their own and taking determined efforts to destroy policies that give other folks some of the same cushion they had. Romney's pick for VP Ryan supports ending Medicare and dismantling Social Security to pay for a huge tax cut for Donald Trump
Donald Trump will be eligible for full Social Security retirement benefits tomorrow.
My take on this morning's news: Fox News ought to be taken less seriously than The Simpsons..Who cares what Donald Trump, Michele Bachmann, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin think??? There IS a Republican war on women. Mitt's saying he'll balance the budget is a declaration of war on the middle class in the form of Social Security, Medicare, Planed Parenthood, The EPA, Dept. of Education, etc., and kids should expect their parents to pay for their college education, and yes, let's increase the defense budget. And while we're at it, allow guns at the convention in a state where the "Stand Your Ground" law exists: that ought to make for an interesting convention. Ok, I'm done for now.
