"Somethin' Bad," a duet by the hottest female country singers who aren't named Taylor Swift, is this week's top new entry on the Hot 100 at The official credit is Miranda Lambert Duet With Carrie Underwood. It's from Lambert's fifth major label studio album, Platinum, which is due June 3. The song enters Hot Digital Songs in the top 10 this week. Digital sales rank: (107K). That rather stiff billing was also used on Underwood's 2011 hit "Remind Me," which was credited Brad Paisley (Duet With Carrie Underwood). Both Lambert and Underwood have had success with duets. As a member of Pistol Annies, Lambert was featured on Blake Shelton's "Boys 'Round Here," which reached last year. I can't wait until it is finally Nicholle's time to be on that stage, her time is coming!!
George Strait RECEIVES COUNTRY RADIO CAREER ACHIEVEMENT AWARD Feb 272013 George Strait was awarded the Country Radio Broadcasters Career Achievement Award at the Country Radio Hall of Fame event at the Nashville Convention Center, Tuesday night (Feb. 26). The award is given to an artist or individual who has made significant contributions to the country radio format. Before George took the stage to receive the honor, guests were treated to a video tribute from such artists as Reba Mcentire, Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley, Taylor Swift and Tim Mcgraw.
Nashville glimmered in Los Angeles Sunday night (Feb. 10), as Country Music and Music City rockers were a huge part of the 55th Annual Grammy Awards.
