David Axelrod & Karl Rove
David M. Axelrod (born February 22, 1955) is an American political consultant based in Chicago, Illinois. Karl Christian Rove (born December 25, 1950) is an American political consultant and policy advisor. He was Senior Advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff during the George W./5

Only four men alive have captained successful presidential campaigns: Ed Rollins (Ronald Reagan, 1984), James Carville (both Bill Clinton campaigns), Karl Rove (George W. Bush's double) and the wily David Axelrod, now ensconced at the University of Chicago. (If you are trying to think who ran Bush 4…
So I've been pwn'ed.. I posted to a fake David Axelrod page here on FB. Sigh. Thank you, Marc Schlather, friend of Shannyn Moore. Aw gee whiz. I wonder who's behind that fake 'Axe' page? Hmm.. Karl Rove? (and she steps away from her laptop, muttering...)
Obama strategist-turned-academic David Axelrod — Karl Rove of the Democrats, as some like to say — has listed his longtime Lake Point...
EVERYBODY IN You are not the next Karl Rove or David Axelrod. Go home, get a job, stop paying for parking.
MSNBC hires David Axelrod and form WH press sec Robert Gibbs...is it the same as Fox hiring Karl Rove and Dana Perino?? I would have to say yes, but did you hear the latest Chris Mathews message to Hilary Clinton? Tune in this morning to Kelley and Company...
Here is the vetting information researched by Kimberley Moons - she is happy for it to be used by others. * I don't know much about Bill Bennet but I don't associate him with Tea Party activism, so it's really interesting that he and Dr. Carson pandor to the Tea Party in this interview. Where was Dr. Carson all the time when we were fighting the Affordable Care Act? In his interview with Hannity's Forum he said he would "rewrite" the Obamacare bill. Why? What would he change about it? Would there still be a mandate? No one asks. Are Republicans low info voters as well? How did Fox news put this forum together so quickly? Even The Blaze was right there, immediately after the Prayer Breakfast speech, with big kudos for Dr. Carson. And Frank Luntz ready to roll out a Fox Forum within days, that smells of Karl Rove to me; or take it further, David Axelrod, both? Are they ramping up to weaken up (in)coming viable Tea Party candidates? Who knows, but we better wise up fast. So I did some research: In 2004 Dr. C ...
THERE GOES THE NEIGHBORHOOD...WAIT THIS NEIGHBORHOOD WAS GONE A LONG TIME AGO...SORRY. **Written by Doug Powers Some are expressing shock at this news because they thought David Axelrod already was directing NBC's political coverage. At least now the relationship is official: NBC News announced Tuesday that it had hired David Axelrod, the chief political strategist for both of Barack Obama’s presidential elections, as a full-time political analyst for the news organization. He will appear on news programs for NBC’s broadcast network and for its cable news channel MSNBC. That channel has positioned itself aggressively as the liberal counterpart to the conservative-leaning Fox News Channel. Mr. Axelrod’s hiring at MSNBC emulates Fox’s hiring of Karl Rove, who filled the similar political post for George W. Bush. In other "straight from the administration to the MSM" news, the Washington Post has hired one of the three Hilary Rosens that Jay Carney knows. I assume it's the one who is the Democratic a ...
David Axelrod is the Left's equivalent to Karl Rove, a winner of two national election and knowing his audience.
Senator Graham apparently thinks the Obama Campaign was run by Karl Rove... Karl Rove's only interest is political power. Unlike David Axelrod whose goal is the public good... Better get your facts straight Mr. Graham...
THE FUTURE FOR THE NATION Okay lets admit it that Obama won re-election. I have heard lots of different theories and although I was hopeful of a different result I saw the handwriting on the wall. I never bought into the poll numbers of Karl Rove or *** Morris. I have been told that the root of the word patriotism is the Latin word for farther, and I would compare the emotional pain washing over the conservative T-party and Republicans to that of caring for a parent with what they are told is a terminal disease. Fearing how the story will end we all still have to remain hopeful of a miracle and the expected disaster will be averted. The Democrats and David Axelrod have convinced many people that the wealthy have not been paying their fair share since the Bush tax cuts and so we can expect that to be the first part of a compromise from the affirmative action poster boy who never worked in a real job. But the Democrats made sure that many voters felt that Obama was the lesser of two evils by demonizing Rom ...
David Axelrod (aka perma-demon) took it all. Karl Rove is below the line. Move on.
You know what amazes me in a good way? David Axelrod and Jim Messina were apparently the Dems' hardnosed versions of Karl Rove.
"I'd be asking for a refund." -David Axelrod joking what he'd do if he were one of the billionaires who had handed big checks to Karl Rove
I don't know. Karl Rove looks like a a sick pervert uncle. David Axelrod reminds me of Yoda. Sort of explains why I'm a democrat.
I will be goddamned if I'll let pundits and talking heads and air heads and bubble heads and happily upskirted aging beauty queens (Fox news anchors) and Karl Rove and David Axelrod continue to fill my head with nonsense and stupid yak yak and lies and deceptions. Election over ... fill your head with beautiful things. Life is short. And the Cantilevered Inference Shall Hold the Day Things are not as they seem: the innuendo of everything makes itself felt and trembles towards meanings we never intuited or dreamed. Take, for example, how the warbler, perched on a mere branch, can kidnap the day from its tediums and send us heavenwards, or how, held up by nothing we really see, our spirits soar and then, in a mysterious series of twists and turns, come to a safe landing in a field, encircled by greenery. Nothing I can say to you here can possibly convince you that a man as unreliable as I have been can smuggle in truths between tercets and quatrains on scraps of paper, but the world as we know is full of su ...
From friend Todd "David Axelrod looks like a Karl Rove with integrity" I like that.
What does the election truly mean? No more robo-calls? No more snarky postings on FB? No more solicitations to buy exposes on Mormons, abortion, Capitalism, Bengazi, 47% or 1%? No more conspiracy theories on voter intimidation, faulty polling, dueling turnout projections and/or millionaire manipulations? How about no more celebrity endorsements of candidates or issues? Real discussion about the fiscal cliff? We have had almost a year of what can only be called a school-yard brawl filled with invective, uncouth behavior, and childish simplistic attempts to cram this nation, this world into a 15 or 30 second soundbites. No matter who won I was loath to express my fears onto my FB page. Now is the time for the real leaders of not just today but tomorrow to stand up, join hands and work for the common good. So: Bugger off Donald Trump, George Soros, The Koch Brothers, Rush Limbaugh, Chris Matthews, Karl Rove & David Axelrod, ACORN and The Tea Party. This nation needs all of us to step up to dealing w ...
There comes a time in every election cycle when things start to go crazy. I think we can all agree we’ve reached that point. Let’s take a look. 1.) The Scarborough betters. David Axelrod promises Joe Scarborough he will shave off his moustache if the Democrats lose Pennsylvania, Michigan, or Minnesota. Nate Silver of 538 bets Joe that Obama will win. Nate is well-respected in the ind ustry, but in my opinion you really start to lose your objectivity and a little of your credibility when you start taking wagers. My guess is he wished he’d not have made that statement. 2.) Karl Rove claiming he is quite sure that Romney will win with at least 279 votes without giving any detail or trying to bridge it to his map from earlier in the week. It will be interesting to see his final map on his website on Monday to see the bridge. Karl has a lot of personal interest in seeing a Romney win, but also (eventually )predicted the Obama victory of 2008. 3.) Scott Reid of Election Projection predicting that Romney w ...
David Axelrod and Eric Fehrnstrom could have run much stronger campaigns. Neither will be anywhere close to keeping company with Ed Rollins, Lee Atwater, *** Morris, or Karl Rove.
David Axelrod is Karl Rove without the charm, charisma or intellect.
The political tension in this country right now is crazy. Forget "Karl Rove" politics, it's "David Axelrod" politics that are to blame
David Axelrod isn't fit to scrub the skid marks out of Karl Rove's chonies.
I don't think Karl Rove does anything to help with the women vote, anymore than David Axelrod does. M Heep
David Plouffe, David Axelrod, Robert Gibbs, Valerie Jarrett, they make me sad to be a Democrats. Karl Rove & Lee Atwater rerun.
Where has David Axelrod been? Truth be known, if you were the person in charge of maintaining President Obama’s image, wouldn’t you have gone into
Every time David Axelrod is on TV I turn it off. There's nothing that he has to say that interests me one bit. He's like Mark Brewer; detestable so it's impossible for me take anything they say with any kind of credible index. I honestly think Axelrod is a communist sympathizer and if I was introduced to him; I wouldn't even shake his hand. There are few people I say that about but he's in the top 3. He's the reason why i don't fight with my Democrat friends when they trash Karl Rove. I'm getting there with Rachel Maddow too which is disappointing to me because I really use to like and respect her. Now, shrill. All of these people have turned into media stars instead of people you could at least disagree with but trust. I even heard the Meet the Press is unhappy with David Gregory which is telling. Why? Because the guy takes his job as a host seriously. He is prepared and does as great a job attacking BS from people on both sides. Guess that's boring. They need him to amp it up..to *** with con ...
Okay, so there's a new rule. If Obama gets a pass for nasty PAC stuff, so too does Obama. Just like the Krotch brothers and George Soreass, if David Axelrod is okay, so too is Karl Rove. Freddy and Jason II.
Just re-used David Axelrod's body & replaced his head with Karl Rove's for animation. Wonder if either of them just vomited.
What did we learn today? There are no Karl Rove's, or David Axelrod's in St. Louis politics. Get informed and decide for your self. Just because it falls from the sky does not mean it's rain.
Who can be more vicious in launching attack adds Karl Rove or David Axelrod?
Roll Call reports that President Obama's top re-election campaign adviser David Axelrod attacked the Super-PACs formed by Karl Rove and the Koch Brothers a...
Karl Rove: Obama's Public-Equity Record - KARL ROVE President Barack Obama's re-election organization is spending a lot of time attacking Mitt Romney over his careers in venture capital (investing in start-ups) and private equity (investing in troubled or failing businesses). To reporters at Bloomberg Businessweek, Obama senior campaign adviser David Axelrod recently ripped Mr. Romney for "leveraging companies with debt, bankrupting companies and making money off of those bankruptcies . . . [that] cost jobs and certainly wages and benefits." And an Obama campaign briefing paper says "Romney closed over a thousand plants, stores and offices . . . cut employee wages, benefits and pensions . . . laid off American workers and outsourced their jobs to other countries." The president is guilty of the same alleged sins. The Obama administration, after all, forced General Motors and Chrysler into Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2009 and then capriciously ordered thousands of local dealerships closed. The auto industry b ...
David Axelrod compares Karl Rove to a "contract killer" and we're supposed to think that Rush Limbaugh is "dangerous"? I smell a little double standard here. (“Karl and Koch Brothers’ contract killers in super PAC-land”) was the quote. I guess the idea is that either we agree with President Obama, or we are evil persons about whom anything can be said without criticism. The only ones coming under equal attach with very little criticisim of those attacks these days are the Christians.
David Axelrod says Karl Rove and the Koch Brothers are "contract killers".
So President David Axelrod ( aw come on...you all know he is calling the shots) said today that Charles and David Koch and Karl Rove are "contract killers" that a boy Davey baby...way to raise the level of political discourse. By the way, I really don't think it is smart to *** off the Koch Brothers. Just saying it's not real smart.
