Randolph named in the provisional squad for Scotland & USA. Darren Randolph has named in the provisional 36 man squad for Ireland's upcoming games against Scotland and USA. Darren has represented Ireland at U15, U16, U17, U18, U19, U21 and B levels. On 14 March 2011, he was called up to the full squad for the first time for the game against Macedonia. In May 2011 he was once again called into to the Republic of Ireland squad for the games against Northern Ireland and Scotland in the Carling Cup of Nations. Darren finally made his full international debut for the senior Republic of Ireland team against Oman in 4-1 friendly win on 11th of September 2012 at Fulham's Craven Cottage.

Thirdly... Rumours. Undoubtely, Blues will be linked with virtually every bosman going this season. He's who we have been after so far according to the papers: Lee Croft - a journeyman winger who has played for Man City, Norwich, Derby, Oldham and St.Johnstone. A hard worker, energetic footballer and was once signed on loan by Lee Clark while at Huddersfield Town. Shaun Hutchinson - a young central defender plying his trade at Motherwell. Potentially recommended by Darren Randolph, he is 23 and has played well over 100 games for Motherwell. Jonathan Grounds - the strongest rumour so far, being that the Birmingham Mail have reported it. He is 26 and playing for Oldham but his talent was clear at Middlesbrough, so much so they kept hold of him until he was 24. A left-back or centre-back, he would be cheap, would add competition to central defenders and Mitch Hancox at left-back and has had a very solid season for Oldham Athletic. - Ryan.
Secondly. Big news regarding next season. With the new the news about Clark in talks with certain individuals about contracts and potential signings, here's how things look so far: Contracted players as of now: Colin Doyle, Darren Randolph; Neal Eardley, Paul Caddis, Jonathan Spector, Paul Robinson, Mitch Hancox. Tom Adeyemi, Reece Brown, Demarai Gray, Oliver Lee, Callum Reilly, Andrew Shinnie. Lee Novak, Matt Green. Nick Townsend, Charlee Adams, Liam Truslove are signed up. Nathaniel Kelly, Vincent Solomon-Otabor, Conor Trueman and Callum Preston are negotiating pro deals. James Fry and Amar'i Bell are in talks too. Currently, Will Packwood, Chris Burke and Nikola Zigic are talking about new deals - unsurprisingly, Zigic's is on a far lower deal than the current £65,000 weekly wage. Hayden Mullins, Peter Lovenkrands, Darren Ambrose, Aaron Martin, Brian Howard and Wade Elliott have been released.
Birmingham made it ten games unbeaten with a 1-1 draw against Barnsley on New Year’s Day. On a wet and blustery afternoon at St. Andrews’s it was Blues who adapted to the conditions more quickly, although it was Barnsley who had the first attempt of note on goal when Jacob Mellis tested Darren Randolph with a low shot from the edge of the box. With just ten minutes played Blues found themselves in front courtesy of Nikola Zigic. Good interplay down the left by the hosts saw the ball find Callum Reilly on the by-line. Reilly took on his marker before firing a low ball across the front of the Barnsley goal where it was deflected into the path of Zigic who was on hand to stab it home from just a few yards out. Blues continued to look dangerous, particularly on the break. Chris Burke’s left-footed effort was saved by Luke Steele and then Dan Burn was desperately unlucky to see his header rebound back off the bar. However, it was certainly not all one way traffic as Barnsley were causing problems for the ...
The comeback is on. Scott Dann long ball over the top quite brilliantly lifted over Darren Randolph and into the net. Absolute quality.
QPR might not be the most flamboyant or exciting team in the Championship this season, but they are clearly the best. A couple of their players make Nick Miller's Team of the Week... Formation: 4-4-2 Goalkeeper - Darren Randolph (Birmingham) Life isn't always particularly easy for Birmingham these days. They have spent this season shuffling around the lower-middle part of the Championship, unable to string two wins together and with memories of trophies and the Premier League seeming more distant than two and a half years ago. Still, they have managed to put together a fairly solid run of form lately, going six games unbeaten, the latest their 2-0 win at Bournemouth on Saturday. And Darren Randolph was a busy boy, as the Cherries had a whopping 24 shots, forcing the Blues keeper into eight saves. A few more performances like that and Lee Clark's side's future will be a little brighter. Birmingham are 2.78 to beat Nottingham Forest at the weekend Defence - Kieran Trippier (Burnley), Marius Zaliukas (Leeds) ...
Potential XI: After last weeks dreadful performance at Leeds, changes are likely to be made. Having looked much stronger in the second half; I'm going with this. Darren Randolph; Paul Caddis, Kyle Bartley, Paul Robinson, David Murphy; Chris Burke, Tom Adeyemi, Wade Elliott, Shane Ferguson; Andrew Shinnie; Nikola Zigic. Subs: Colin Doyle; Dan Burn, Oliver Lee, Callum Reilly, Demarai Gray, Lee Novak, Matt Green. Ferguson is the obvious replacement for Lingard out left. Shinnie's positioning in attack was impressive & he helped take the game to Leeds more in the second half. If Adeyemi isn't fit, I'd say Reilly will be on the bench. - Ryan.
EXCLUSIVE e-FOOTBALL ARTICLE: English Championship Review 19/10/13 & 20/10/13 by by Championship Correspondent Lucas Whitehead Leeds United 4-0 Birmingham City Leeds Leave Me Speechless I went to Elland Road today expecting a loss or a draw, and in my mind a draw would’ve been a decent result! Well, that shows how much I know! Birmingham have now lost 7 of their last 10 matches and inconsistency has been rife in their ranks. A side that had demolished Sheffield Wednesday 4-1, defeated Swansea City by 3 goals to 1 and thrashed Millwall 4-0 is capable of being torn apart by Messrs Mccormack, Smith and Austin. United set out in a 5-3-2 formation, with Byram and Warnock operating as wing-backs and it proved successful when in the early moments they dashed down either wing and created a few chances for McCormack and Smith. Darren Randolph saved well twice after McCormack hit two sizzling shots one on one. Leeds combined long passes and short moves to great effect and in the 18th minute, a seemingly inconspic ...
Football News; Birmingham's four-goal hero Jesse Lingard and defender Kyle Bartley are both unavailable for the Capital One Cup third-round visit of holders Swansea. Lingard has been denied permission to play by parent club Manchester United, who do not want the forward cup-tied, while centre-back Bartley is on loan from the Swans and not able to face his parent club. Goalkeeper Colin Doyle will return between the sticks to replace Darren Randolph having started in the previous two rounds. David Murphy will be rested having only returned in Saturday's 4-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday after a lengthy absence due to a knee injury, while Nikola Zigic, Akwasi Asante, Lee Novak and Hayden Mullins miss out due to minor injuries. Neil Taylor will make his return from a thigh injury in Swansea's Capital One Cup clash at Birmingham but Ashley Williams and Pablo Hernandez are unlikely to be risked. Left-back Taylor has been on the sidelines since suffering a dead leg in the first leg of the Europa League play-off a ...
Starting XI: The word from Clark that Lingard will start means I think he'll go 4-3-3. Darren Randolph; Paul Caddis, Dan Burn, Paul Robinson, David Murphy; Tom Adeyemi, Wade Elliott, Andrew Shinnie; Chris Burke, Lee Novak, Jesse Lingard. Subs: Colin Doyle; Kyle Bartley, Jonathan Spector, Shane Ferguson, Callum Reilly, Akwasi Asante, Scott Allan. Of course though with Clark, you never quite know. We could go 4-4-1-1, 4-2-3-1, 3-4-3, 3-5-2, 3-4-1-2. If Novak is out, I'd go with Green to come into the 18 and start. - Ryan.
Starting XI: I don't see Clark making many changes at all other than the enforced one regarding Paul Robinson. Tiredness may be an issue but I'd expect 3-4-3 once again with Burke outwide. Darren Randolph; Jonathan Spector, Kyle Bartley, Dan Burn; Paul Caddis, Tom Adeyemi, Wade Elliott, Shane Ferguson; Chris Burke, Lee Novak, Andrew Shinnie. Subs: Colin Doyle; Mitch Hancox, Oliver Lee, Callum Reilly, Darren Ambrose, Matt Green, Peter Lovenkrands. Another change I could possible envisage is Matt Green coming in wide left for Andrew Shinnie after being left out on Saturday as we look to play on the counter away from home. - Ryan.
I'd have taken Darren Randolph if we hadn't got Cammy Bell this summer.

Ugh my one day off and I have to bring my car to Randolph .. My luck
According to reports, a move for Paul Caddis may be back on. Swindon need to slash their wage bill, hence the reason for the release of many of their major players. It is believed that they would allow Caddis out on a season long loan again, providing Birmingham pay all of his wages. I don't think we will go after him now, especially as we have Neal Eardley. What do you think? -Greg

Governor Vetoes Dream Act Driver’s License Bill Republican Governor Rick Scott Bucks Fellow Florida Republicans; Continues National Republican Effort to Marginalize Hispanic and Other Legalized Immigrants Orlando - Senator Darren Soto (D-Orlando) and Representative Randolph Bracy (D-Orlando) on Wednesday gathered with other state lawmakers and concerned residents to highlight GOP Governor Rick Scott's latest refusal to embrace the Hispanic community in Florida. Governor Scott vetoed HB 235 yesterday which would have allowed legal Hispanic and other legal immigrants in the United States with no criminal history to obtain a driver’s license. The measure was approved in the Republican-dominated legislature with a vote of 115-2 in the Florida House and unanimously in the Senate. “The Dream Act driver’s license bill passed with overwhelming bipartisan support. So far Birmingham have signed the most players in this window, signing Neal Eardley, Darren Randolph, Olly Lee and Lee Novak.
so far we have Darren Randolph, Neil Eardley and Andrew Shinnie
Darren Randolph, Neil Eardley, Andrew Shinnie and Lee Novak. All impressive signings for Birmingham. Outside bet for the play-offs?
Blues Bag Defender Eardley Blues swooped to complete the signing of right back Neal Eardley, on a Bosman free transfer today. The 24-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-year deal at the club and is set to join on the 1st of July. The Welshman becomes Clarks fifth signing of the close season, joining fellow new recruits Andrew Shinnie, Darren Randolph, Olly Lee and Lee Novak. The signing, will also signal the end of any speculation regarding Blues still pursuing former loanee, Paul Caddis. The 16 Cap, Welsh International, was supposedly in talks with former club Blackpool about a new deal, where he featured 119 times, but he has opted to join Blues after discussions with Lee Clark, citing “I would have never turned down an opportunity to be signing for such a big club.” Who said were only selling Pricey!! KRO - Reidy
Birmingham manager Lee Clark has said that new signing Darren Randolph has to fight with Colin Doyle over the number 1 spot.
HATELEY COY ON HIS FUTURE TOM HATELEY has refused to confirm or deny reports he is set to join the exodus from Motherwell and head for Rangers. Fir Park boss Stuart McCall has not ruled out retaining the player but the successful Steelmen side of the last few seasons is already beginning to break up. Darren Randolph to Birmingham and Nicky Law – also in talks with the Ibrox club – are confirmed departures but PFA Scotland Player of the Year Michael Higdon is also expected to depart, as are Hateley, James McFadden and Chris Humphrey. Hateley's father, former Ibrox striker Mark, works in tandem with his agent when it comes to looking after his son's football affairs, and the 23-year-old was reluctant to shed any light on where his future lies. "I have been trying to just get to the end of the season and leave all the other stuff until then," said Tom. "I have loved my time at Motherwell, I have learned a lot and I have been able to be a regular part in a side that has enjoyed some fabulous achievements. ...
Craig Gordon out of price range. No move Darren Randolph this window either for same reason.
Just read the Scottish Sun and its saying that we are thinking about offering Motherwell keeper Darren Randolph a pre contract, what do you all think of this? and should we believe the Sun considering its record of telling fibs?
Team News Celtic moved nine points clear at the top of the Scottish Premier League with a hard-fought win over Motherwell. Gary Hooper notched the crucial goal from close range just as it looked as though neither team would find the net despite a plethora of chances. Moments earlier Tom Hateley saw his penalty saved by Fraser Forster after Kelvin Wilson's foul on Jamie Murphy. It means Celtic head into the winter break with a commanding lead at the top as they seek to defend their SPL title. Celtic started extremely brightly and looked like they'd gone ahead just two minutes in, when Georgios Samaras glanced Kris Commons' superb cross into the net, but the assistant referee's flag cut short the early celebrations. That set the tone for the opening period as the home side bombarded Darren Randolph's goal. Commons fired just wide from the edge of the box, Randolph saved a close-range Hooper shot, with Commons' follow-up well blocked by the under-fire Motherwell defence, and the keeper did brilliantly to tip ...

Motherwell manager Stuart McCall hopes a lengthy William Hill Scottish Cup run can persuade some of his key men Darren Randolph, Tom Hateley, Nicky Law, Chris Humphrey, Jamie Murphy and Michael Higdon to stay at Fir Park. McCall said: "Looking at the long picture, it would be fantastic if we could go as far as we can in the cup, do well in the league, and maybe use that as a carrot to try to keep some of the players."

Watt who? April 24th, 2012 by admin Motherwell defender Stevie Hammell admits he knew nothing of Tony Watt before the teenage Celtic striker came off the bench to score a dream debut double in the Hoops’ 3-0 win at Fir Park on Sunday. The Clydesdale Bank Premier League champions showed six changes in personnel and went with an unfamiliar back three for the trip to Lanarkshire and there were a few puzzled looks in the press box when the 18-year-old replaced Pawel Brozek just before the hour mark. However, two goals in three minutes, the first when he volleyed in a Victor Wanyama cross from a tight angle and the second when he drove low past Well keeper Darren Randolph from the edge of the box, made the former Airdrie striker an instant hero to the travelling supporters. Hoops wing-back Cha Du-ri headed in a third near the end to leave Motherwell three points ahead of fourth-placed Dundee United as the race for a Champions League qualifying spot heats up. However, while the Celtic fans left the stadium ta ...
