Darren Fletcher admitted Man United players will have to play well to stay in David Moyes' plans for next season.
MAN UNITED ERRORS: 1. Rooney was unfit, tired and wasteful, therefore shouldn't have played this game at all. 2. Evra can't stop his opponents outside the box at all times, he rather dances around until his opponents maximizes the ball inside his 18 yard box. So I think buttner deserve his place considering his first leg performance. 3. Darren Fletcher is aging and is no longer quick at getting the ball from his opponents, so Cleverly would have done better. 4. Moyes would have immediately told his players to fall back without wasting 10seconds after Evra's goal, because you don't celebrate and forget yourself. 5. They couldn't try the Paul Scholes way by shooting from 25-30 yards but relied more on crosses that no one cared taking. Timikio Enewari Jnr.
Plenty of alterations for Man United from the side which faced Bayern at home, as Rio Ferdinand is dropped in favour of Chris Smalling, while Darren Fletcher comes into the defensive midfield two, with the visitors presumably hoping that the presence of the Scotland international instils some calm. Danny Welbeck features once again, but this time on the left hand side of midfield, given that the English striker can be trusted with defensive responsibility and tracking back.
