Confederation Cup Orlando Pirates Champions League South Africa Red Arrows Caf Champions League Comoros Islands Nedbank Cup Don Bosco Absa Premiership Moroka Swallows

The Absa Premiership matches involving South Africa’s participants in the CAF club competitions next month will be played on February 26. Orlando Pirates were due to meet Moroka Swallows on February 17, while SuperSport had a meeting against Tshwane rivals University of Pretoria the day before. But with Pirates involved in the Caf Champions League and SuperSport in the CAF Confederation Cup that weekend, both these matches have been shifted to February 26 during the period allocated by the PSL for the Nedbank Cup competition. Pirates will come up against Comoros Island side Djabal FC in the first leg of their tie, with the venue for that match yet to be determined, though it is expected to be Orlando. SuperSport have a much trickier tie against DR Congo outfit Don Bosco and will be away from home first. Both those matches will be on the weekend of February 15-17
Zanaco to face Mbabane Swallows ZANACO have drawn Swazi side Mbabane Swallows in the preliminary round of the 2013 Caf Champions League while Confederation Cup envoys Power Dynamos will face Angolan side Recreativo Caala in the preliminary round. Zanaco, who are returning to the lucrative competition after a three-year absence, will host Swallows in the first leg on February 16 and will travel to Mbabane after two weeks. The draws were conducted in Cairo on Sunday. “We are alive to the fact that a team from Swaziland knocked out Red Arrows from the Confederation Cup this year and many Zambian coaches are in Swaziland and have borrowed our pattern of play to make football in that country competitive,” said Zanaco coach Keagan Mumba in reference to Swazi side Royal Leopards’ 1-0 aggregate win over Arrows in the preliminary round of the Confederation Cup.
