so you left Tom Brady for Colin Kaepernick, the Red Sox for the Giants, and the Celts for the Warriors!
Through 10 weeks of regular season play, the Chiefs defense has not given up a rushing touchdown or allowed a 300-yard passer. It is an impressive feat considering the team has faced high-profile QB's such as Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Colin Kaepernick and Philip Rivers, among others. LB Justin Houston currently leads the league with 12.0 sacks, and the Chiefs as a team rank tied for third in the NFL with 28.0 team sacks. The Chiefs have surrendered only 12.4 points per game in the last four contests. -Steve
These things I learned yesterday. 1. Tom Brady will always own Peyton Manning 2. Emmanuel Sanders is a beast! 3. Big Ben is playing the best football of any QB right now outside of Tom Brady 4. Mark Sanchez will lead the Eagles deep into the playoffs 5. Tony Romo is more important to the Cowboys than any other player. 6. Antonio Brown should get some MVP votes 7. Tre Mason is the best RB in STL 8. Colin Kaepernick continues to prove how overrated he really is 9. Frank Gore is done! Get Carlos Hyde in there already. 10. Teams will eventually learn to stack the box against Seattle and teams will realize they have no weapons on the outside. 11. RG3 will be out of the league within 5 years. 12. Whoever sill thinks DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart belong as starters in this league should be boycotted from football for life. 13. Lovie Smith is a terrible football coach. 14. The Texans need to bench Ryan Fitzpatrick now and see what they got in Ryan Mallet.
I'm ready for another action packed day of NFL football! Hopefully, my gamble of starting Colin Kaepernick over Tom Brady on my fantasy team will pay off. Antonio Burgess should know that I just signed Muhammad Sanu (I can't believe that was free agent). With AJ Green out for the Bengals, I'm gonna start Sanu over Pierre Garcon, who I have a lot of respect for since he played at Mount Union. As promised, I'm gonna have some nice debates coming up as well, so get ready!
Know the Difference Between a Good Football Player and a Good Fantasy Football Player. The line can be blurry sometimes, but a good football player is not always good for your fantasy team. As an example, Colin Kaepernick, was not a good fantasy choice last year. His team made the NFC Championship Game, he has a bright future, and no one doubts that he is talented, but he wasn’t a good fantasy pick. Kaepernick ranked 20th in the league in passing yards, and 17th in the league in touchdowns. With that many quarterbacks ahead of him, you are most likely getting bested by every other fantasy team at the quarterback position, unless Kap has an insane rushing day. Russell Wilson and Tom Brady are underwhelming options as well. Great quarterbacks for great teams, but not the best fantasy choice you can make. The bottom line here is that individual stats are paramount. It’s easy to be fooled by team success, but at the end of the day, being able to discern between a good player and a good fantasy player may ...
A lot of fans are not going to like it, but I'm going out on a limb and say that if RGIII is out for an extended time, and it appears that may be the case, Kirk Cousins will keep the starting job especially if he continues to play well. It would not be unprecedented. New England's Tom Brady got his job after starter Drew Bledsoe was injured and eventually ended up in Dallas, and former 49er starting QB Alex Smith suffered a concussion and was replaced by Colin Kaepernick who took the 49ers to the Super Bowl. Smith eventually ended up in Kansas City and is the starting QB there. If Cousins keeps playing well and the Redskins continue to win, I expect Cousins to keep the starting job.
Look for Tom Brady, Cam Newton, Colin Kaepernick and Adrian Peterson to have HUGE years this year. Just watch
well then so did Tom Brady, Russell Wilson, Mike Vick, and Colin Kaepernick.
Colin Kaepernick makes more money than Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. Lol
Johnny Manziel was drafted by the Padres today. He joins Colin Kaepernick, Russell Wilson, Michael Vick and Tom Brady as QBs d…
do you hate Russell Wilson, Colin Kaepernick, Michael Vick, and Tom Brady also? Also Michael Jordan, Tracy Mcgrady, and Bo Jack
Colin Kaepernick is guaranteed more money than Tom Brady... Does this sound stupid to anybody else?
Colin Kaepernick just signed for 126m for six years. Wow.61m guaranteed makes him the top paid qb topping Tom Brady by a mill.18 million a year 6th highest salary in the NFL.Cam Newton and Russell Wilson will be next among qbs to get massive contract deals upwards of 100 million
Colin Kaepernick ain't worth no 126 million. That's money you give to Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady or Peyton Manning.
Colin Kaepernick signed a deal for $20 million per. If that's not crazy enough, he got 61 million dollars guaranteed! The most in NFL history! Good for him! But *** that's a lot of loot for somebody not named Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, or Drew Brees
I saw OPs confession about Manziel and how he is going nowhere, and I absolutely loved how everyone jumped to defend Manziel. Let's take a look at the Cleveland Browns. Can one of you (without doing a google search) name a player from the Browns (not including Colt Mccoy or Vince Young)? People from all over the nation know the names of Troy Aikman, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Colin Kaepernick, but can anyone think of anyone from the Browns? How about this, how many Superbowls have the Browns Won? None Okay, so that might be a little unfair, how about how recently have the Browns been to the playoffs? They qualified in '07 as the wildcard and again in '02 as the wildcard and nothing more. So 7 years since they QUALIFIED. Colt Mccoy someone with great potential went to the Browns and now he's some 2nd or 3rd string quarterback from some team I'm too lazy to google search. I hate to break it to you all, but Manziel is going nowhere professionally. The Browns are not a good team and not even dear old "Johnny F ...
Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Aaron Rogers, Russel Wilson, Andrew Luck, Colin Kaepernick..there's 7 that are better
Nobody feels sorry for Johnny Manziel, right? He's a Heisman Trophy winner from an oil rich family in Texas. He probably had sex with half the pretty girls in College Station and a few dozen more in Austin by the time he was a sophomore. This is after he was a larger than life football hero in High School, in Texas! --Not saying we should celebrate such male conquest but his path has not been any real struggle. Now he's drafted in the first round of the NFL and will make millions instantly with contracts/endorsements, even if he doesn't become a hugely successful NFL player. Plus, getting drafted lower certainly doesn't mean you can't become a star QB. Joe Montana to Tom Brady to Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson, are some of the best examples. Brady being the best one ever. None of them were even first round picks and Brady was drafted in the sixth round. So, hopefully for Cleveland Browns fans, Johnny's gotten most of the spoiled *** out of him in college but you never know... He's only 21 years ...
List of athletes the are pursuing: RGIII, John Wall, Colin Kaepernick, Yasiel Puig, Usain Bolt, Kyrie Irving, Tom Brady
Why is the NFL full of degenerate scumbags? Ray Lewis, Aaron Hernandez, Ray Rice, Lawrence Taylor, OJ Simpson, Tom Brady, and now the newest induction.Colin Kaepernick. But NFL fans are stupid and will welcome him back with open legs.consentual or not.doesnt matter to Colin.
These 3 QBs were all drafted by an team:. -Tom Brady . -Russell Wilson . -Colin Kaepernick
From ESPN, Grantland, the 5 Laws of Free Agency, "5. None of it REALLY matters. For as much attention as Free Agency gets, always remember that no matter how well any team does in the market, your favorite team’s still probably losing to the teams with Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Andrew Luck, Aaron Rodgers, Colin Kaepernick, and possibly Matt Stafford if the Lions finally surround him with enough talent to mitigate his mediocrity. This should be an addendum to every single one of the 10,000 free-agency grading columns on the Internet."
I grade how good are these QB's by "tiers" or "categories". For Example, I give a QB a 6 if they are elite, 5 if they are very good, 4 if they are good, 3 if they are average, 2 if they are below average, and 1 if they are bad. Here is my opinion on top QB's. What is your ratings based on these QB's? 6- Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees 5- Ben Rothliesberger, Andrew Luck, Philip Rivers, Nick Foles, Matt Ryan 4- Ryan Tannehill, Alex Smith, Tony Romo, Jay Cutler, Cam Newton, Russell Wilson 3- Andy Dalton, Joe Flacco, Eli Manning, Robert Griffin III, Matthew Stafford, Mike Glennon, Colin Kaepernick, Carson Palmer 2- Bills QB's (Manuel, Lewis), Titans QB's (Locker, Fitzpatrick), Rams QB's (Bradford, Clemens), Raiders QB's (Pryor, McGloin) 1- Geno Smith, Chad Henne, Browns QB's (Weeden, Campbell), Vikings QB's (Ponder, Cassel, Freeman) I would put Kirk Cousins, Matt Flynn, Josh Mccown, Michael Vick, and Brian Hoyer somewhere in this system but they have not played enough games to earn a spec ...
What is worst, watching the Super Bowl from the couch? (Cam Newton, Colin Kaepernick, Tom Brady, Matt Ryan or that other guy from New Orleans) Or playing in the Super Bowl and getting beat 43-8 while looking like Tony Romo?
: I'm not watching the Superbowl. Me: why not?. Eric: dude I hate watching Colin Kaepernick and Tom Brady. Me: .
Part of Why I Love Football * * * With my Packers and Chiefs eliminated two weeks ago, this actually makes the visual appraisal of the NFL playoffs less stressful and a bit more enjoyable. I know that we're in an era where quarterbacks matter more than ever but I absolutely love watching quarterback play in 2014. How they approach a defense, deal with crowds, the egos of their wide receivers. Especially with these four quarterbacks and their wildly different characteristics. Tom Brady, Mr Uggs, three Super Bowl titles and the essence of the Modern American Male. Peyton Manning, the star-crossed quarterback battling time, fatigue and the weight of expectations. Colin Kaepernick, the quarterback whom I think is the most difficult to prepare for as he has the arm strength of the Incredible Hulk with the longest leg strides I think I've ever seen. Russell Wilson, the son of a Dartmouth grad who is incredibly smart and very quick. Yet what I enjoy the most is how Brady, Kaepernick and Wilson were told t ...
Big day at The Blind Pig NYC tomorrow with the last four in the NFL Playoffs, Tom Brady v Peyton Manning at 3pm as the New England Patriots take on the Denver Broncos and then the two kids Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson go head to head as the San Francisco 49ersand Seattle Seahawks take us into the night! All this followed by a $40 open bar to celebrate MLK day!
It's a big NFL day tomorrow! Starting at noon is the AFC Championship: New England Patriots at the Denver Broncos. Can QB Tom Brady beat out long-standing rival QB Peyton Manning? Then, at 3:30pm, it is the battle for the NFC Championship! QB Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers face QB Russell Wilson and the Seahawks. Will the 49ers be able to overcome the 12th man and the deafening roar? We're pretty excited over here about the next few weekends. Football fever has hit G Sports Bar and Grill!
NFL Films' Greg Cosell weighs in on Russell Wilson's recent struggles, Colin Kaepernick's development, Tom Brady's throwing abilities, the matchup between Jamie Collins and Julius Thomas and more.
Who do we like in this Sunday's NFL Championship Games? We go by test scores, of course. In this case, Wonderlic scores. Give us Colin Kaepernick (37) and his 49ers over Russel Wilson (28) and the Seahawks. Tom Brady (33) and the Pats will find a way to win on the road against Peyton Manning (28) and the Denver Broncos. (Please do not gamble using this post as your reasoning. We are not responsible when the Hawks and Broncos inevitably cruise to 50-0 wins.)
An interesting side story in the NFL this year to me is who is the better quarterback? On the AFC you have two old pocket generals. Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. Two guys that you can trust and are known for IQ levels and passing accuracy. On the NFC side you have two young athletic quarterbacks Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson who are known for being a x factor for using their leg and athletic ability to move the ball down the field or avoid sacks in case of a play breakdown. For many years it has been thought that the quarterback position was one reserved for Caucasian men. Never before has an African American or ethnic quarterback ever won the Super Bowl except Doug Williams who came in for the injured Joe Theismann in the first quarter to beat the New York Giants almost 30 years ago? One of the major reason for this is because there has been little to no opportunity. Believe me there are over 20 other teams that are paying close attention to these games to determine who they should draft in their f ...

Colin Kaepernick, Russell Wilson and Tom Brady all have something in common that they don't share with Peyton Manning: all three quarterbacks were drafted into Major League Baseball.
Sharing a Stat of the Day: Peyton Manning is the only starting quarterback in the AFC or NFC Championship Game that was not drafted to play Major League Baseball. Tom Brady: Montreal Expos (18th round) Colin Kaepernick: Chicago Cubs (43rd round) Russell Wilson: Baltimore Orioles (41st round) and Colorado Rockies (4th round)
Tom Brady vs Peyton Manning, the best in the business and Colin Kaepernick vs Russell Wilson, the future of the game
Looks like it's Colin Kaepernick vs. Russell Wilson in the NFC and if Denver wins Peyton Manning Vs. Tom Brady in the AFC. The old school vs. new school...interesting.
Taking Drew Brees, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady out of the equation, Our question of the day is, which Quarterback from this weekends game would you take: Andrew Luck- Colts Russell Wilson- Seahawks Phillip Rivers-Chargers Colin Kaepernick- 49ers Cam Newton-Panthers
HERE YA GO: Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Eli Manning, Robert Griffin III, Jay Cutler, Joe Flacco, Cam Newton and Colin Kaepernick have all completed more passes than Foles has attempted, yet Foles has thrown for more touchdowns than each of those quarterbacks.-BIG MIKE-
Alex Smith benched for Colin Kaepernick & Drew Bledsoe benched for Tom Brady is not comparable to McCown v. Cutler. McCown is 3…
Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick are both so overrated. They are products of the great players around them. Kaepernick is borderline awful. WIlson is average at best and is made out to be an MVP because his defense plays lights out and he only has to make 2 or 3 school yard plays from his feet to win a game. If you put a Tom Brady or an Aaron Rodgers on either the seahawks or the 49ers they would never lose. ever.
Welp Jaws does his QB rankings pre season and I will do mine 3/4 of the way through. 1. Peyton Manning (obvious) 2. Tom Brady (Timmy Terrific) 3. Aaron Rodgers (tough call over Breesy but gotta do it) 4. Drew Brees (major separation from these 4 on down) 5. Tony Romo (gut check time) 6. Ben Roethlisberger (the rings won't carry you too much further) 7. Matt Ryan (tough year, but body of work) 8. Eli Manning (rings is all you can say) 9. Phillip Rivers (big bounce back year, last two an anomaly) 10. Russell Wilson (want to put him higher but I can't) 11. Matt Stafford (still turns it over too much to be higher) 12. Cam Newton ( a lot left to prove, but great start to career) 13. Andrew Luck (a lot of talent, just hasn't quite put it all together) 14. Robert Griffin III (one of the best seasons from a rookie you'll ever see unhealthy) 15. Joe Flacco (one great great run lol) 16. Colin Kaepernick (real stud, but a lot of good QBs in the league, still a lot to prove) 17. Jay Cutler (highest I can put him, he ...
Did you know that Russell Wilson has been sacked more times, but has a better passer rating than Tom Brady, Andy Dalton, Alex Smith, Cam Newton, Carson Palmer, Andrew Luck, Eli Manning, Tony Romo, Colin Kaepernick, RG3, Jay Cutler and Matt Stafford? :)
Bucs recap from yesterday: 1. I am not like some fans. I don't get disappointed with every win just because it means we might get a lower draft pick or we might actually keep Schiano around. Anybody who has followed the draft as long as I have knows that it's way less about where you pick and way more about how good your scouting department is at making that pick have the best value possible. I want my team to win. So yesterday was a lot of fun to watch. The Bucs played a complete game in all phases and made big plays in all three, as well. 2. The offensive line has been a completely different unit with Jamon Meridith in the game. They bulldozed in the run game for the third week in a row, and kept Mike Glennon off his back for most of the game. 3. Speaking of Glennon, good luck convincing me that the Bucs should take a QB in next year's draft. QB rating of 87.7 (higher than Tom Brady, Andrew Luck, RG3, Eli Manning, Colin Kaepernick, Alex Smith), 11 TD, 4 INT, 62% completion percentage. And he's j ...
Quarterback, Colin Kaepernick is no Tom Brady.lost 2nd time in a row at the Dome...not a winner so far, but perhaps a good whinner.Let's see Alex Smith IS 9&1 WITH THE CHIEFS.
The 49ers fell to the Saints, losing by only a field goal. The Carolina Panthers defense in many ways is like that of the 49ers'. Applying pressure with an aggressive 4 man rush and disguised blitzing schemes can create problems for Saints. Panthers are a stingy defense and playing very well up front and back. Carolina Panthers offense owns a much more balanced offense and does a great job mixing up the plays. Cam Newton, DeAngelo Williams, Mike Tolbert and Jonathan Stewart combine for an intimidating back field that should be respected. Mixing in the option could give the Saints defensive coordinator, Rob Ryan a major headache. Cam Newton is going through his progressions, making his reads from sideline to sideline. Newton should be able find more targets than Colin Kaepernick did against Ryan's defense. The Saints are now 8-2 ahead of the Carolina Panthers, who'll have a a chance to showcase themselves Monday night against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. BlackPANTHER...
"Foles, who has only 136 passing attempts on the season - about half as many as guys like Russell Wilson (257), Aaron Rodgers (251), and Jay Cutler (265) - but has amassed 16 touchdowns, with 10 coming in the last two games. That's more than Rodgers (15), Andrew Luck (14), Tom Brady (13), Cam Newton (13), Colin Kaepernick (9), Joe Flacco (12), Eli Manning (11), and Robert Griffin III (12), just to name a few." Whatever your thoughts on him are, give the *** kid the rest of the season to win himself a job.
even better: someone started him in one of my leagues and left Tom Brady and Colin Kaepernick on the bench
...and Cam Newton, and Matthew Stafford, and Michael Vick (but he got injured), and Matt Schaub, and Colin Kaepernick, and Tom Brady...
Terrelle Pryor at half already has more Fantasy points (17) than Aaron Rodgers, Cam Newton, Colin Kaepernick, Tom Brady & Matthew Stafford.
Eli Manning, Colin Kaepernick, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Mark Sanchez, Brady Quinn and Kurt Warner even though he's an old man.
Colin Kaepernick and Eric Decker getting Tom Brady and Justin Blackmon...would you?
In this morning's football news cap from the weekend: Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, maybe Drew Brees show why they are elite, the Bengals, Texans, and ravens are who we thought they were, my cowboys still winning every other game looking like 8-8 again, and Russell Wilson, Colin kaepernick, and RGIII time has come and gone like the wildcat, but the BROWNS are 2-0 since the trade...IT'S FOOTBALL AND THAT MEANS ANY GIVEN SUNDAY!
The highest qb rating in the NFL for 2012 & 2013 in the NFL belongs to Peyton Manning. Number 2 - not Aaron Rodgers, not Tom Brady, not Colin Kaepernick . . . it is Russell Wilson. Go Hawks !
NFL let's get it together. Take a hint from the NBA about player interviews. Colin Kaepernick looked like a thug that they drug out of a High School corner locker. Hat backwards, Beats, and a hoody. Come on! You're PROFESSIONAL football players. Show a look of class instead of looking like a hood. And Jim Harbaugh's, Reverend Jim's responses are getting old. Question, ahh, spacey look around, answer. Question, ahh, spacey look around, answer. All we ask it that you all act like professionals. But I guess that really is too much to ask. D'oh, Peyton Manning acts like a professional, with a suit and tie. Tom Brady acts like a professional, etc.
"Brian Hoyer outscore the likes of Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Matt Ryan, Robert Griffin III, Colin Kaepernick, Andrew Luck, Michael Vick, Andy Dalton and Eli Manning. Heck, Jake Locker and Geno Smith did that, too."
Dear Will Muschamp, I know that you are watching this game from the side lines but this kid Tyler Murphy is the truth. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know that you've invested the last two years in Jeff Driskel but let's face it, he's not going to lead us to any championships! Our defense has been keeping us in games that he has consistently led the offense into a downward spiral. It's time to take this GATOR team back to it's dominance of the SEC East!!! With that being said, please remember that some of the greatest quarterbacks that are playing in the NFL got their start when someone got hurt (e.g., Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger -, and Colin Kaepernick) Two of these guys have multiple Superbowl rings while the later has appeared in one Superbowl. Just some things to think about!! Sincerely A Loyal GATOR Fan, Melissa Robinson-Ellis
Elite. The word is defined by Merriam Webster’s dictionaryas meaning “The choice part” or “The best of a class”. So why is it that whensports are involved there is so much conversation that the word starts to loseit’s meaning? There are several factors that can influence arguments includingteam and player biases and lack of knowledge on the subject among other things. With all that said statistics don’t lie and is the case with Eli Manning, theytell the whole truth. You can spell Elite without Eli. First let’s take a pool of players whom most consider elite. We’ll make the pool 10 players, all of whom are still in the league. With those10 players we will provide 3 widely considered elite quarterbacks in Tom Brady,Peyton Manning, and Aaron Rodgers. The next set we’ll consider 3 QB’s thatthere is argument about whether they are or are not elite. They are Drew Brees,Ben Roethlisberger, and Matt Ryan. And the last tier of 3 we’ll throw in someunproven talent in RG3, Colin Kaepernick, and ...
Watch, the Russell Wilson vs Colin Kaepernick rivalry will replace the Tom Brady vs Peyton Manning rivalry in the future.
Tom Brady has the mobility of Colin Kaepernick, if you ran over Kaepernick with a Chevy Silverado.
Colin Kaepernick's, Tim Tebow, Lebron James, Drew Brees, Tom Brady, John Cena, Mike Trout world, we're all just living in it .
Talking to my baby girl about NFL quarterbacks I said do you know Tom Brady she said ya he plays for the Patriots then I ask her do you know Colin Kaepernick she said ya he play for the 76er's
What was I drinking during my NFL draft today? I took Colin Kaepernick and for his backup? Tom Brady, how low can I stoop?
If I had to list the top QBs in the NFL... 1. Aaron Rodgers (by a landslide) 2. Drew Brees 3. Peyton Manning 4. Tom Brady (I know, I hate it too) 5. Ben Roethlisberger 6. Eli Manning 7. Matt Ryan 8. Joe Flacco 9. Colin Kaepernick (RG3 would be here if not for the knee injury) 10. Andrew Luck Feel free to debate. I love a good debate.
The San Francisco 49ers Colin Kaepernick doesn't play or look like a prototypical quarterback along the lines of Tom Brady or Peyton Manning. And the fact that Kaepernick is so different has been great for merchandise sales. In recent weeks, Colin Kaepernick's no.
Top QBs in the nfl: Eli Manning, Colin Kaepernick, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Matthew Stafford. In that order.
Jordan Morgan is to Mitch Mcgary as Alex Smith is to Colin Kaepernick as Drew Bledsoe is to Tom Brady.
2012 QBR winners - in order: - Peyton Manning - Tom Brady - Colin Kaepernick - Matt Ryan - Aaron Rodgers - Robert Griffin III - Alex Smith 2 of the top 7 QB's in the whole NFL played on the same team. Crazy.
“We beat the future in Andrew Luck. We beat the past in Peyton Manning. We beat the present in Tom Brady. Then we beat the best show on offense in the NFL in the 49ers in Colin Kaepernick. The toughest road in these playoffs, we did it. We did it together.” Suggs
Russell Wilson..a list of QB's he's beaten in the regular season...Aaron Rogers, Tom Brady, Tony Romo, Cam Newton, Colin Kaepernick and RG3...and still he didnt win ROY Award...
Merril Hodge said that Joe Flacco is better then Colin Kaepernick, Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers!! .. Delusional!
So the debate goes on regarding whether or not Joe Flacco is an "elite" QB. Well, here's a list of QBs I would take ahead of him (in no particular order). RG3, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Ben Roethlisberger, Matt Ryan, Matthew Stafford, Colin Kaepernick, Andrew Luck, and Russell Wilson. So I have him as the 13th best QB in the league at best. If that makes him elite, then yes, he's elite.
Playoff QBs not drafted in Rd 1 by current team: Peyton Manning, Colin Kaepernick, Russell Wilson, Andy Dalton, Matt Schaub, Tom Brady.
Joe Flacco getting a 20 Million bonus? Being Elite? Welcome to being the overrated Quarterback in the NFL. Colin Kaepernick,Russel Wilson, Griffin III, The Manning Brothers, Tom Brady, Drew Brees and even Aaron Rodgers are better than you!!!
Since 2000, QB's to make the Super Bowl. Kurt Warner, Steve McNair, Trent Dilfer, Kerry Collins, Tom Brady, Brad Johnson, Rich Gannon, Jake Delhommme, Donovan McNabb, Ben Roethlisberger, Matt Hasselbeck, Peyton Manning, Rex Grossman, Eli Manning, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Colin Kaepernick, Joe Flacco. If you were to rank these QBs where would they stack up against one another? I didn't put repeats in there but most of you should know who's been to multiple bowls. - Vishal
"Ray Lewis is a murderer" You're all right. He murdered Andrew Luck, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Colin Kaepernick on his way to a ring :)
It's time for Colin Kaepernick to be the next Tom Brady or Jim Kelly? Which will it be?
His name doesn't carry the same gravitas as peers like Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, but Joe Flacco is on pace for one of the greatest postseason statistical performances in NFL history. He has thrown eight touchdowns with no interceptions during the playoffs. The only quarterbacks to finish the postseason with at least nine touchdowns and no interceptions are 49ers greats who are now in the Pro Football Hall of Fame: Joe Montata (11 TDs in 1989) and Steve Young (nine TDs in 1994). The further emergence of Flacco as the league's best deep passer puts him in line for a massive offseason contract extension. Grade: 8.5. San Francisco: A little more than two months ago, Colin Kaepernick was making his second career NFL start in New Orleans replacing the injured Alex Smith (concussion). Kaepernick is now returning to the Louisiana Superdome on the verge of leading his team to a championship. Kaepernick's running skills and strong arm have provided elements to San Francisco's offense that were lacking under Smit ...
Joe Flacco Baltimore Ravens Ravens 28, Patriots 13 21-for-36, 240 YD, 3 TD, 0 INT Watch Highlights Colin Kaepernick San Francisco 49ers 49ers 28, Falcons 24 16-for-21, 233 YD, 1 TD, 0 INT The Pregame Pressure Joe Flacco did wonders for his reputation in the Baltimore Ravens' double-overtime win over the Denver Broncos in the divisional round of the playoffs, solidifying his standing as a proven postseason performer while building his status as Master Of The Deep Ball. (Broncos defender Rahim Moore can attest to that second part.) All that goodwill would have been tempered if Flacco couldn't get over the hump against the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game. Despite outplaying Tom Brady in last season's AFC title matchup, Flacco and the Ravens lost. This time, he had to find a way to take the next step. Colin Kaepernick set the bar impossibly high after a dynamic divisional-round performance against the Green Bay Packers, producing four total touchdowns and 181 rushing yards -- the latter mark ...
Hm, some very interesting facts here. What do you think? 9: Career starts for Colin Kaepernick Jeff Hostetler had started just four regular season games and six total before defeating the Buffalo Bills in thrilling fashion in Super Bowl XXV. Vince Ferragamo had started just five career regular season games and seven total before taking the field as the leader of the Rams' offense in Super Bowl XIV against Pittsburgh. Colin Kaepernick will rank third all-time with just seven regular season and nine total starts under his belt when he takes the field Sunday night. He is just the fourth QB to start in the Super Bowl in the same season in which he made his regular season staring debut (Ferragamo, Kurt Warner, Tom Brady). Ironically, nine also is the number of times Alex Smith was sacked by Baltimore in the only previous meeting between John and Jim Harbaugh in 2011’s 16-6 Thanksgiving win for the Ravens. 0: Interceptions thrown by 49ers QBs in five Super Bowls Everyone knows the 49ers are 5-0 all-time in Su ...
Jackson, along with several other celebrities, made their predictions/picks for the Superbowl this weekend and well, you can check out Jackson’s below! Also… WHO’S GOT IT BETTER THAN US? NOBODY!! :)       Since 1986, the Scripps Celebrity Super Bowl Poll has been asking big names in entertainment, news, sports and pop culture to predict the outcome of the big game. This year, more than 115 celebrities picked between the San Francisco 49ers, led by quarterback Colin Kaepernick, and the Baltimore Ravens, featuring linebacker Ray Lewis.       Take note, betting fans: The celebs have gotten it right 18 times in 27 years.       And this year the majority says the 49ers will seize the Lombardi Trophy in New Orleans.       …       JACKSON RATHBONE, actor, “Twilight”: 49ers, 31-24. The reason behind the prediction is the emergence of Colin Kaepernick, the quarterback for San Fran. He’s on fire right now and he looks like early Tom Brady when he won his first Super Bowl. I think t ...
Just read an article on how Colin Kaepernick is the most dangerous QB in football. Have people forgot that QB's like RGIII, Russell Wilson, Tom Brady, Eli and Payton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Andrew Luck and *** even Cam Newton are in the league? Kaep is a good player, but before we crown this dude let's not forget that SF was a fumble away form the SB last season. Some of the QB's I mentioned took non-playoff teams to the playoffs and Wilson was 30 seconds away from the Championship Game.
In the playoffs this year, the Ravens D held Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck to passer ratings 17 points lower than their season averages. They held Tom Brady to a passer rating of 62.3, his worst all year and over 36 points lower than his season average. Colin Kaepernick hasn't beaten a quality defense all year and is about to face a Ravens D that's held three top-ten offenses to an average of 14.3 points over the last three weeks.
My boys got me on one today, Cody Hendrix Daniel Bowers...You want stat facts!!! Here we go: Randy OWNS 19 NFL Rec. Records / Randy had 17 different starting QB's in his career... Brad Johnson/Vikings, Dante Culpepper/Vikings, Kerry Collins/Raiders, Tom Brady/Patriots, Matt Cassel/Patriots, Vince Young/Titans, Rusty Smith/Titans, Alex Smith/49ers, Colin Kaepernick/49ers.To name a few. When he played with one of the best (Tom Brady) He had his Best Season Ever 10 years into his career!! Who did Jerry Rice play with.hmmm Joe 'Super Bowl' Montana and Steve Young...Two Hall of Famers! The man throwing the ball makes a big difference...So to even be anywhere close to Jerry's stats shows that "Maybe" he IS the best of ALL TIME.Stats Don't Lie,, But the TRUTH hurts...
I may be a little bias because i have been a Randy Moss fan since i was like 12 but give him Joe Montana and Steve Young and he is hands down the best WR in NFL history. Moss has been through Quarterbacks such as: Randall Cunningham, Brad Johnson, Daunte Culpepper, Jeff George, Todd Bauman, Spergon Wynn, Gus Ferotte, Brett Favre, Joe Webb, Tarvaris Jackson, Kerry Collins, Marques Tuiasosopo, Andrew Walter, Aaron Brooks, Tom Brady, Matt Cassell, Rusty Smith, Alex Smith, and Colin Kaepernick. Let the debate begin.
Nobody has a higher QB rating in the last 10 games than Colin Kaepernick. Not Russell Wilson, not Tom Brady, not Matt Ryan.
Once upon a time, John Elway, Dan Marino, and Tom Brady were MLB prospects
Taking a course in critical thinking is showing me how many prejudices I have. For example, I think Manti Te'o was in on the scam about his girlfriend. I also dislike Colin Kaepernick for unknown reasons, whereas I like Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers for equally unknown reasons. And I love to watch football, even though it is clear that 20 years of being hit in the head can lead to brain damage, in Junior Seau and others. Like Ali. Ah well, it is hard to think critically. More fun to be prejudiced.
What do Tom Brady, Colin Kaepernick, Aaron Rodgers, Jay Cutler and Tony Romo have in common... yeah.. Russel Wilson beat em.
One more posting and I'll let it go . it occurred to me as I sit here and read about this year's playoffs to date that there is a new breed of QB and team approach. We are now in an era of Joe Wilson-Seattle; Cam Newton-Carolina; Joe Flacco-Baltimore; RGIII-Redskins; Colin Kaepernick-49ers; Andrew Luck-Colts; Matt Ryan-Falcons . the 'new' guys. Is it the beginning of the end for another era ...??... Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Tony Romo (ha), even Aaron Rogers . It will be very interesting to see where teams go and how they draft in April. OK...I'm done
Colin Kaepernick has beaten Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers and Matt Ryan in first nine starts. Huge fan of this kid, in both reality and fantasy.
I have a weird feeling that the 49ers will beat Baltimore. In the 2001 the Patriots played the Rams in New Orleans. The Patriots won the Super Bowl and Tom Brady was shoved down our throats. They will have the Super Bowl in New Orleans this year. I think that the 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick will be like Tom Brady was in 2001.
A year ago, Kyle Williams and Billy Cundiff/Lee Evans were goats. This year, Colin Kaepernick and Joe Flacco redeemed them. I've been wanting a Harbowl since last year's losses, and that's exactly what will happen. Kudos to Jim for making the ballsiest move of the season in benching Alex Smith. Kudos to John for winning in Foxborough against Tom Brady and Bill Belicheck, virtually impossible to do. I am very excited for Super Bowl Sunday this year. Best of luck to both teams.
Sports fans are indeed crazy. The 49ers are a fun team to watch, Colin Kaepernick is a great story and Jim Harbaugh is an amazing coach. The Patriots are the evil empire. Tom Brady is rich, an NFL QB, is a fashion model and bangs a Victoria's Secret model. Bill Belichick was caught cheating. I should be rooting for the 49ers but as a Steelers fan I really like being a fan of the only team with 6 Super Bowls so I'm rooting for the Patriots to win this game and the Super Bowl.
So I just read that Colin Kaepernick made $600,000 this year. While I would LOVE to make that kind of money, if he beats Tom Brady today, that boy needs to get a raise! Maybe Justin Tucker needs one too! :)
Colin Kaepernick trying to pull a Tom Brady lol
Chicago Sun-Times sports columnist Rick Morrissey's article on the Chicago Bears new coach wrote "The first thing he needs to do is stop treating Cutler as though he's something special. He isn't. If Gabe Carimi could protect Cutler the way Lovie Smith did, the Bears wouldn't have offensive-line problems. Cutler is a quarterback who should feel lucky he has a chance to prove more than what he has proved so far in Chicago. If they watched the playoffs last weekend, they have to know Cutler isn't in the same league as Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, Peyton Manning, Matt Ryan, Colin Kaepernick or even Joe Flacco. The Bears have invested a lot of money in Cutler, and I'm sure they're thinking that, at this point, they can't find anyone better. But he hasn't improved as a quarterback here. I'm worried that in hiring Trestman, Emery is giving in to the idea that the coach has to have a special relationship with Cutler; i.e., that he has to be sensitive to every one of Cutler's mood swings. That's the ...
Does anyone else get perplexed about the media love affair with Ray Lewis? On every other team in the NFL the quarterback is the leader of his team and gets the glory. Why is Ray Lewis the face of this team? Tomorrow Matt Ryan and the Falcons are facing off with Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers. There aren't really any headlines about Joe Flacco and Tom Brady. It is all about Ray Lewis leading his team and taking on Tom Brady and the Patriots. I think Joe Flacco should take the day off and see how well Ray Lewis can throw the football. Having said that I don't know if I can stomach another Patriots appearance at the Superbowl. So, go Ravens! Have never ever forgiven the 49ers for popping champagne on the field and declaring victory before the game was over in Superbowl 1995, while the Chargers scored a TD. So go Falcons. Ravens v. Falcons Superbowl party at the McAdoo's on February 3rd!
Aaron Rodgers working on his standup routine. Tom Brady, Colin Kaepernick preparing for playoff games.
So tired of hearing all these bandwagon, all of a sudden 49ers fans. Especially in the media! All year they have scrutinized Colin Kaepernick, but as soon as he runs well against a banged up Packers defense, he's like God's gift in football. I call BS!!! He's been a different QB on the road. Matt Ryan is 34-6 at home all-time, only behind Tom Brady... being the underdogs just makes a win taste better...
.says the most dangerous QB left in playoffs, NOT named Tom Brady is Colin Kaepernick (question
Never did I dream how fast Colin Kaepernick would turn out so good in a short amount of time. He took that starting job from Alex Smith and never look back. I look at all these young QB Kaepernick, Newton, RG3 and Wilson saying dam NFC got some good young QB. While Andrew Luck is doing great in the AFC. But Kaepernick he is a lot bigger then all those other young guys. What I mean he is built and can really throw the football down the field. Yes he runs from time to time but he also not just using his head and stay in the pocket. I don't really feel that bad for Smith like a lot of the 49ers fans have been. Hey Alex Smith you did a good job last year. But Kaepernick is just that much better. I hope Smith does well were every he goes. This is just the neature of the business. It happen when Tom Brady took over for Drew in New England. Heck it happen even with the 49ers when Steve Young took over the man I loved so much Joe Montana. I hated it but it was the right move this is why Jim is a great coach. Coli ...
blogs on Colin Kaepernick, Baltimore's resolve, and why Tom Brady really is great.
KBRAZ SPORTS The two kids from Northern California burst from NFL afterthought to championship contender in eerily similar fashion a decade apart. Tom Brady and Colin Kaepernick, each playing in a conference title game this weekend, are bookends to a fortuitous moment in quarterback history. On one side are the likes of Brady, Peyton Manning and Drew Brees, still scintillating in their mid-30s. On the other are Kaepernick, a second-year player, and the brilliant class of rookies with Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III and Russell Wilson leading their teams to the playoffs. Young, old and in between, the current crop of NFL quarterbacks is not only deep but dynamic and diverse. "We're in a little bit of a boom right now. We're flowing a little bit, especially young players," Hall of Famer Steve Young said last week. "If those guys continue to develop, we'll have a period of time here, kind of a Camelot of quarterbacking." The depth of the position shows in the other two guys joining the Patriots' Brady and th ...
I know this is super nerdy but I wanted to do it. My Top 10 QB's of 2012. I am fully aware that most of you will disagree with me but that's cool. I'll still be your friend. 1. Peyton Manning - See's the field better than anybody. A coach/player 2.Tom Brady - I give Peyton the edge only because he is the OC an QB. 3. Aaron Rogers - Better pure passer than anybody but still makes mistakes. 4. Drew Brees - So so good but slowing down a tiny bit. 5. Russel Wilson - Brains/arm/feet and only a rookie! 6. Matt Ryan - Really talented but I want to see him do better under pressure. 7. Andrew Luck - No QB was asked to do more than this guy all year. 8. Robert Griffin III - Best hybrid QB but needs to know when to slow down. 9. Colin Kaepernick - He is gonna be really good. Arm still a little shaky. 10. Tony Romo - I don't care what anybody says. He covers up for all the crap the cowboys get wrong. If the cowboys had a lesser QB they would absolutely terrible. 1-4 you could put into any order really. I thin ...
I officially want to see SF/NE Superbowl and see Colin Kaepernick just dominate and own Tom Brady and the Pats.
Great weekend in the NFL! All good games. I don't like how harbaugh did Alex Smith but Colin Kaepernick is for real! As much as I like luck and rg3, Russell Wilson is rookie of the year hands down! And if u know me at all u know I can't stand that *** Tom Brady. He is so dope. But. The sheriff still proved he is the best qb EVER! MANNING 4 MVP!
I'm sure Tom Brady is smiling right now knowing his road to the Super Bowl now consists of beating Joe Flacco and either Matt Ryan or Colin Kaepernick. Rodgers and Manning being knocked out gives the Patriots a huge edge going forward at the QB position.
"Colin Kaepernick has the Tom Brady background and persona eith a Mike Vick swagger" -espn Since when is sports using the word swagger lol?
Ray Lewis gets to play another game, spoiling an AFC Finals featuring two of the best QBs of this generation. Tom Brady showed the Texans how to win and close in the Playoffs. Matt Ryan finally wins a Playoff game, albeit a close one against the Seahawks. Niners ride second-year QB Colin Kaepernick to a win over Aaron Rodgers' Packers. Now it'll be another clash of icons as Brady looks to get past the inspired play of Baltimore, and on the other side, it'll be a clash of the new generation, with Keapernick and Ryan's team squaring off for the right to play in the Superbowl. NFL Conference Finals coming up! *** that these will be shown next Monday :/
P-A-R-L-A-Y! I'd like to thank Russell Wilson, Tom Brady, Colin Kaepernick, my agent and my family for their support through this. God bless.
If it was up to me, the remainder of the NFL season would go something like this: Patriots win over the Ravens next week and the Niners beat the Falcons. Superbowl XLVII: Patriots vs. Niners. Colin Kaepernick leads the Niners to a Superbowl victory in just his 2nd year in the league and 1st Superbowl just like Tom Brady did in 2002. Kaepernick goes to Disneyland and Brady goes home to Gisele. Win - win.
I would like to re-instate my wish from last year...a Patriots v. 49ers Superbowl...this would be great (as in I could root for everyone and just watch the game and relax for once) so Colin Kaepernick and Tom Brady - if you could lead your teams to victory next weekend, that would be fantastic! Thanks :-)
I just loathe the thought of yet another Super Bowl where I'll have to endure the likes of Tom Brady playing in it.
It looks like it's going to be an interesting mix of quarterbacks playing on championship weekend this year. There will be: Tom Brady (the legend/future hall of famer), Matt Ryan (fringe of greatness/ looking to become elite), Joe Flacco (classic game manager), and Colin Kaepernick (young gun/ budding superstar).
Have you ever seen anyone score TDs faster than Tom Brady? What a talent!
It's all over. Ravens fan are you sure y'all wanna see Tom Brady
Bold prediction: Colin Kaepernick will be the next "Tom Brady" for the 49ers over the next decade, winning some Super Bowls and MVPs along the way. Very familiar style as how Kaepernick and Brady got a chance to start, with Alex Smith and Drew Bledsoe getting injured.
So the last rookie QB standing is the one who was drafted in the third round, with the 75th pick overall. Say what? I was laughed out the barber shop preseason when I said Russell Wilson would have the last laugh. And look at the postseason company he is keeping: The future Hall of Fame trio of Manning, the Patriots’ Tom Brady and Packers’ Aaron Rodgers; the Ravens’ Joe Flacco and Falcons’ Matt Ryan, first-round picks in 2008; as well as the Texans’ Matt Schaub and 49ers’ Colin Kaepernick, who entered the league as third- and second-round picks in 2004 and 2011. It's safe to say, NO ONE IS LAUGHING NOW!! Well.maybe I am just a little bit, LOL!
Hey, RGIII haters. Remember that the Seattle D made Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, and Colin Kaepernick all look like frightened children.
I'm tired of this read option in the nfl. All that means is you don't have a quarterback that can throw the ball. It also means you have to rely off or play fakes and college plays to win. Look what happen to RG3. He got dominated, Joe Webb same thing. Well see with Kaepernick. (we all know it's the Niner D is what is the only thing legit). Anyway ale your pick. Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Andrew Luck( who had 5 rushing touchdowns) Eli Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Matt Ryan or RGIII, Cam Newton, Colin Kaepernick, soon to be Geno Smith, Alex Smith?
Colin Kaepernick has defeated Drew Brees and Tom Brady. Aaron Rodgers is next.
Aaron Rodgers, Matt Ryan, Russell Wilson, Colin Kaepernick, Tom Brady, Joe Flacco, Matt Schaub, Peyton Manning. These are the QB's still in the playoffs. Huge stage for RW3 to prove he belongs
Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson beat Tom Brady head to head, Andrew Luck did not. Go ahead and make excuses Greeny.
Tom Brady after losing at home in December to Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers.
New article: Why the defense won the game for the and not Colin Kaepernick.
SF 41 PATS 34 Wheres the DEFENSE??? Tom Brady did everything but sell dogs!! This game was not for the faint of heart! If you survived the ups/downs and bad calls on phantom players - you saw a great comeback by TB and the boyz in the second half - but not great enough!! Shake it off - we're already in! See you in Miami! GO PATS REPOST: FOXBOROUGH — The Patriots clawed back from a four-touchdown hole against the 49ers on a cold and rainy Sunday night, but they could not complete their comeback. With white knuckles and clenched teeth, San Francisco clung to its lead as the Patriots posted score after score in the second half. Though the Niners never relinquished the lead, the Patriots tied the score with 6:43 left and seemed to have momentum fully on its side. But in one play — a 38-yard Colin Kaepernick to Michael Crabtree catch-and-run — San Francisco reclaimed the lead. This time its defense held firm, and the 49ers won, 41-34. They were able to leave Gillette Stadium as the first visiting team to ...
Colin Kaepernick gets his toughest test yet in Tom Brady on SNF. Both the 49ers & Pats aspire for a bye in their respective conferences.
In 2001, Tom Brady replaced an injured Drew Bledsoe and proceeded to embark on an astounding career for the New England Patriots.
Colin Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers are looking forward to matching up with Tom Brady and the prolific offense of the New England Patriots on Sunday night. It may be more a matter of keeping up.
Colin Kaepernick is in somewhat of the same position Tom Brady was in during his first Super Bowl run . . .
Which NFL quarterback's leadership potential could having him & his team hoisting the Lambardi trophy at the conclusion of SuperBowl XLVII Sunday, February 3, 2013, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans: Matt Ryan, Alex Smith or Colin Kaepernick, Jay Cutler, Eli Manning, Aaron Rogers, Josh Freeman, Russell Wilson or Matt Flynn, Tom Brady, Joe Flacco, Ben Roethlisberger, Andy Dalton, Matt Schaub, Andrew Luck or Payton Manning.
espn.comparing Colin Kaepernick to Tom Brady? Are you crazy?
I wake up from a nap and Trey Wingo ask if Colin Kaepernick is next Tom Brady
New Orleans -- This must be how Drew Bledsoe felt, watching a young Tom Brady wrest away his job in 2001, one well-placed throw at a time. And maybe this is why NFL players rarely report their concussions. San
Colin Kaepernick reminds me of Tom Brady. The both were drafted late in their respective drafts. Each started after their teams starting QB went down. Both dominated when given the opportunity.
For all those that question whether or not Kaepernick should start above Alex, you have to look at the facts and leave emotions at the door. This isn't Little League, or even High School. This is the BIG BOY LEAGUE! Sometimes a better quarterback rises when their successor falls... Worked out well for Tom Brady! (And, all though not particularly "better", Steve Young fared pretty well too!) Colin is more mobile, more accurate, has more velocity on his throws, makes more/better plays, and has the OFFENSE AROUND HIM playing the best they ever have compared to Alex! I understand... Alex has been through a lot, and he helped us succeed last year... But, statistically... REALISTICALLY!!! Colin Kaepernick is just... plain... better as our starting quarterback. (Besides, Alex came with the team... Like an ugly couch in a new relationship... We're "comfortable" with him, but its time to upgrade!! And Coach Harbaugh hand picked Kaep in the draft for HIS grand scheme... I think we can CLEARLY see he knows what h .. ...
I called this first but Colin Kaepernick will be a future Hall of Famer! Arm like a Peyton Manning & Tom Brady!
Looks like Alex Smith just lost his job to Colin reminds me of when Drew Bledsoe lost his job to Tom
Jeez, Chicago! You're making Colin Kaepernick look better than Tom Brady!
The worst thing Alex Smith could have ever done was let Colin Kaepernick see the field. Shades of Tom Brady and Drew Bledsoe.
you can wake up anytime Bears offense. *** the whole team can wake up. You're making Colin Kaepernick look like the second coming of Tom Brady...any QB could throw in that double-wide the Bears D are giving him.
