You just compared Peyton Manning to Colin Kaepernick. Sit out until Monday, bud.
You just compared Peyton Manning to Colin Kaepernick. Stop, Mike. The Silicon Valley money ain't worth it.
Only three players in 2015 to have a worse QB rating than Colin Kaepernick: Andrew Luck, Nick Foles, Peyton Manning.

Russell Wilson has defeated Peyton Manning in the Super Bowl and Colin Kaepernick and Aaron Rodgers in NFC champ game
Through 10 weeks of regular season play, the Chiefs defense has not given up a rushing touchdown or allowed a 300-yard passer. It is an impressive feat considering the team has faced high-profile QB's such as Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Colin Kaepernick and Philip Rivers, among others. LB Justin Houston currently leads the league with 12.0 sacks, and the Chiefs as a team rank tied for third in the NFL with 28.0 team sacks. The Chiefs have surrendered only 12.4 points per game in the last four contests. -Steve

I wanna see Bill Romanowski crack Peyton Manning, Philip Rivers and Colin Kaepernick like he did to Brian Griese 👊💢
didn't have such a good night in Denver. The game saw opposing quarterback Peyton Manning break
What would happen if we swapped Colin Kaepernick for Peyton Manning?
What lessons can Colin Kaepernick glean from Peyton Manning?
Colin Kaepernick is the Peyton Manning of looking like an Egyptian pharaoh
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has firmly established himself as one of the more intriguing young signal-callers in today's NFL. Though he did get a good look at one of the best of all time in Peyton Manning on Sunday, he may not develop into one of the "greatest quarterbacks…
Football Goals. Study film with Peyton Manning. Work out with Cam Newton. Talk ball with Brett Favre. Party with Colin Kaepernick
Tonight the Peyton Manning the Iron Sheik class. Colin Kaepernick has mosquito *** class tonight
A "solid majority" of HCs would rather face Colin Kaepernick than Peyton Manning. A solid majority of HCs should find a new profession.
Who would NFL coaches rather face: Peyton Manning or Colin Kaepernick? by
1 Seahawks 1-0 -- Last Week: 1 The dreaded Super Bowl hangover skipped Seattle. That defense looked as fearsome as ever, holding Aaron Rodgers to 189 passing yards and a 47.9 QBR after unveiling the team's Super Bowl banner. 2 Broncos 1-0 -- Last Week: 2 The countdown's on. Peyton Manning has 494 touchdown passes, 14 behind Brett Favre for most all time. Manning has 21 touchdowns and one interception in prime-time games with Denver. 3 49ers 1-0 1 Last Week: 4 Vernon Davis catches the touchdowns, but Anquan Boldin keeps getting it done, too. Colin Kaepernick was 8-for-8 for 99 yards and six first downs targeting Boldin on Sunday. 4 Eagles 1-0 3 Last Week: 7 Nick Foles had four turnovers last year and three in Sunday's first half. Then again, 15-of-21 for 183 yards and two touchdowns after halftime forgives a lot. 5 Bengals 1-0 4 Last Week: 9 A.J. Green's 77-yard touchdown reception saved the day for the Bengals. Green had six catches for 131 yards and a touchdown Sunday -- just another day for Cincinnati's ...
Niners batter mistake-prone Cowboys...Dolphins rally past Pats...Panthers win without Newton UNDATED (AP) - The Denver Broncos have begun their AFC title defense by jumping out to a 24-0 lead before hanging on for dear life. Peyton Manning threw three touchdown passes to Julius Thomas in the second quarter of the Broncos' 31-24 triumph over the Indianapolis Colts. Manning was 22 of 36 for 269 yards and no interceptions as the Broncos won their first meaningful game since their Super Bowl loss to Seattle last February. Montee Ball's three-yard scoring run put Denver ahead 31-10 with about 10 minutes left before Andrew Luck hit Dwayne Allen and Hakeem Nicks for TDs 4:20 apart to make it close. The Colts had a chance to tie the game until Luck threw an incompletion on fourth down in Denver territory with 1:57 left. Luck had 370 passing yards but was picked off twice. In other NFL season openers: - Colin Kaepernick threw a pair of touchdown passes to Vernon Davis while the Niners were building a 28-3 halftime ...

Seriously though the Broncos look the early team to beat this season from what I can gather. This preview of the clash of the titans in week 7 didn't live up to expectations but will surely be more competitive in the regular season. Stevie Johnson and Michael Crabtree did not have a reception and Vernon Davis did not play. The 49ers secondary is struggling to find an identity and suffered a set back when the lost Antoine Bethea to a concussion. I have not seen enough of Colin Kaepernick to say whether he is improving or not, this week he was 5/9, 39yds. Denver'so secondary on the other hand had 2 interceptio ...

Colin Kaepernick makes more money than Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. Lol

49ers, Colin Kaepernick agree to 6-yr, $126 million deal with $61 million guaranteed Submitted by Dana Draper on June 4, 2014 - 4:49pm According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the San Francisco 49ers and quarterback Colin Kaepernick have agreed to a six year contract extension worth $126 million, with $61 million guaranteed through 2020. Kaepernick gets $21 million annually in new money and sets the new quarterback record for guaranteed money, surpassing Peyton Manning by $3 million. Kaepernick, a former second-round pick was entering the final year of his rookie deal. The team has been one of the most run-heavy teams, but after the arrival of Stevie Johnson, and Michael Crabtree healthy, it's expected the club wants to open up the passing offense more in 2014.
Although Colin Kaepernick landed a bigger contract than Peyton Manning, the 49ers quarterback has failed to put numbers anywhere near those of Manning's.
Colin Kaepernick ain't worth no 126 million. That's money you give to Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady or Peyton Manning.
Congratulations to San Francisco! Signed a $20 Million Quarterback today!!! Wait .WHAT! Colin Kaepernick? Is it Christmas? Is this a dream? I have to put him in the same sentence as Peyton Manning, Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers as the top QB contracts EVER???
Colin Kaepernick signed a deal for $20 million per. If that's not crazy enough, he got 61 million dollars guaranteed! The most in NFL history! Good for him! But *** that's a lot of loot for somebody not named Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, or Drew Brees
How can the 49ers pay Colin Kaepernick more money than Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, and Peyton Manning when he hasn't even made a Pro Bowl in his career yet? 6 years, $126 million, $61 million guaranteed? Crazy.
Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Aaron Rogers, Russel Wilson, Andrew Luck, Colin Kaepernick..there's 7 that are better
How much is Tom Condon seeking for his client, Alex Smith? He has already landed Peyton Manning $18 Million a year, Drew Brees $18.4 Million a year, Tony Romo $17 Million a year, Matt Ryan $16.5 Million a year and will be negotiating hefty deals for Eli Manning and Matt Stafford, soon. Not long after Aaron Rodgers, Joe Flacco and Jay Cutler all with big deals and with other QBs working behind the scenes on extensions(Colin Kaepernick & Ben Roethlisberger) and others who will be needing dealt with over the next 12 months(Russell Wilson, Cam Newton, Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III) just how much can we pay Smith? Any extension, as discussed in depth; will already cost us the services of Tamba Hali. A huge extension, more then likely chops Brandon Flowers or Dwayne Bowe off, also. SO, serious questions. Are we at a place where we can even make this deal? Will Alex stick with his QB brethren and increase the average pay for QBs or will he cut us a deal?
On the Eve of another beltway bowl (flag football game), Shekinah has reminded me that I'm not Russell Wilson or Colin Kaepernick. She told me that I'm more like Peyton Manning. Ha- if we win, she better have me an OMAHA Steak! :)
From ESPN, Grantland, the 5 Laws of Free Agency, "5. None of it REALLY matters. For as much attention as Free Agency gets, always remember that no matter how well any team does in the market, your favorite team’s still probably losing to the teams with Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Andrew Luck, Aaron Rodgers, Colin Kaepernick, and possibly Matt Stafford if the Lions finally surround him with enough talent to mitigate his mediocrity. This should be an addendum to every single one of the 10,000 free-agency grading columns on the Internet."
Every NFL team that made the playoffs this year has a great quarterback. Peyton Manning is a great quarterback, Oliver Luck, Cam Newton, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Colin Kaepernick, and all of the rest of them are all great quarterbacks. But the team that won the Super Bowl won because they had the best DEFENSE in the NFL. Therefore, I conclude that, while there are great (or potentially great) quarterbacks available in this years draft, if the Houston Texans do not get Jadeveon Clowney in this years draft and pair him up wit J. J. Watt, that will be the biggest mistake the have made since David Carr and Dom Capers!
I grade how good are these QB's by "tiers" or "categories". For Example, I give a QB a 6 if they are elite, 5 if they are very good, 4 if they are good, 3 if they are average, 2 if they are below average, and 1 if they are bad. Here is my opinion on top QB's. What is your ratings based on these QB's? 6- Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees 5- Ben Rothliesberger, Andrew Luck, Philip Rivers, Nick Foles, Matt Ryan 4- Ryan Tannehill, Alex Smith, Tony Romo, Jay Cutler, Cam Newton, Russell Wilson 3- Andy Dalton, Joe Flacco, Eli Manning, Robert Griffin III, Matthew Stafford, Mike Glennon, Colin Kaepernick, Carson Palmer 2- Bills QB's (Manuel, Lewis), Titans QB's (Locker, Fitzpatrick), Rams QB's (Bradford, Clemens), Raiders QB's (Pryor, McGloin) 1- Geno Smith, Chad Henne, Browns QB's (Weeden, Campbell), Vikings QB's (Ponder, Cassel, Freeman) I would put Kirk Cousins, Matt Flynn, Josh Mccown, Michael Vick, and Brian Hoyer somewhere in this system but they have not played enough games to earn a spec ...
Seahawks intend to force Broncos' Peyton Manning to move around By Troy Renck The Denver Post Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014 - 1:01 a.m. San Francisco 49ers starting quarterback Colin Kaepernick (7) is stopped short on a third-down scramble against the Seattle Seahawks defense in the first quarter of the NFC Championship game at CenturyLink Field in Seattle on Jan. 19, 2014. ( Nhat V. Meyer, Bay Area News Groups via MCT ) JERSEY CITY, N.J. — In the simplest terms, the Seattle Seahawks will try to force Peyton Manning to color outside the lines. Manning is all about the script, about inputting presnap data and solving the equation more quickly than Will Hunting. "We need to get him off his spot, to move his feet and force him to adjust," coach Pete Carroll said. "If he's just standing there in the pocket in rhythm, then you get the best he has to offer." The Seahawks pride themselves on playing right to the edge of the rules. Their cornerbacks are pushy, and their safeties fly around the ball. "Earl Thomas' life ...
12th Man: I found other good article today from The Wall Street Journal written by Kevin Clark. It's titled "A Quarterback Cold Remedy: Huge Hands". It talked about NFL quarterbacks with huge hands who can manage throwing football well in inclement weather. Russell Wilson's hands are so huge despite his height at 5' 11". From his pinkie to thumb is measured at 10 1/4 inches, compared with an average male span of 7 1/4 inches. Back in his days at Wisconsin, John Schneider paid a visit to watch him playing against Penn State in a cold, wet, and nasty weather. Wisconsin won 45 - 7. Mr. Schneider said Mr. Wilson's hand size was a determining factor for his 2012 NFL draft. This way, Mr. Wilson can manage the Pacific Northwest weather. In fact, Peyton Manning also have huge hands but measurement is unavailable. Do you want to know Colin Kaepernick's? A slightly over 9 inches. *snickering*
Colin Kaepernick needs to study, learn from Peyton Manning and Russell Wilson next two weeks about how to conduct himself with the media.

Colin Kaepernick already has more postseason wins on the road (3) than Peyton Manning (2)
Who do we like in this Sunday's NFL Championship games? We go by test scores, of course. In this case, Wonderlic scores. Give us Colin Kaepernick (37) and his 49ers over Russel Wilson (28) and the Seahawks. Tom Brady (33) and the Pats will find a way to win on the road against Peyton Manning (28) and the Denver Broncos. (Please do not gamble using this post as your reasoning. We are not responsible when the Hawks and Broncos inevitably cruise to 50-0 wins.)

Colin Kaepernick, Russell Wilson and Tom Brady all have something in common that they don't share with Peyton Manning: all three quarterbacks were drafted into Major League Baseball.
Sharing a Stat of the Day: Peyton Manning is the only starting quarterback in the AFC or NFC Championship game that was not drafted to play Major League Baseball. Tom Brady: Montreal Expos (18th round) Colin Kaepernick: Chicago Cubs (43rd round) Russell Wilson: Baltimore Orioles (41st round) and Colorado Rockies (4th round)

Taking Drew Brees, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady out of the equation, Our question of the day is, which Quarterback from this weekends game would you take: Andrew Luck- Colts Russell Wilson- Seahawks Phillip Rivers-Chargers Colin Kaepernick- 49ers Cam Newton-Panthers
Welp Jaws does his QB rankings pre season and I will do mine 3/4 of the way through. 1. Peyton Manning (obvious) 2. Tom Brady (Timmy Terrific) 3. Aaron Rodgers (tough call over Breesy but gotta do it) 4. Drew Brees (major separation from these 4 on down) 5. Tony Romo (gut check time) 6. Ben Roethlisberger (the rings won't carry you too much further) 7. Matt Ryan (tough year, but body of work) 8. Eli Manning (rings is all you can say) 9. Phillip Rivers (big bounce back year, last two an anomaly) 10. Russell Wilson (want to put him higher but I can't) 11. Matt Stafford (still turns it over too much to be higher) 12. Cam Newton ( a lot left to prove, but great start to career) 13. Andrew Luck (a lot of talent, just hasn't quite put it all together) 14. Robert Griffin III (one of the best seasons from a rookie you'll ever see unhealthy) 15. Joe Flacco (one great great run lol) 16. Colin Kaepernick (real stud, but a lot of good QBs in the league, still a lot to prove) 17. Jay Cutler (highest I can put him, he ...
If RG3, Cam Newton, and Colin Kaepernick are the "future" of the NFL. You guys that hate guys like Brady and Peyton Manning are going to miss watching good football games!
You cannot continue to give the ball back to Peyton Manning and expect to win. This game is showing why Colin Kaepernick was chosen over Alex Smith in San Francisco.
After witnessing Robert Griffin III's pathetic game-ending interception, I have come to the conclusion that there are some NFL players who spend more time in TV commercials than concentrating on their game. The following exhibits demonstrate: 1) Griffin (Subway and everything else, *** ; 2) Clay Matthews (razors and chunky soups, *** ; 3) Aaron Rodgers (State Farm, *** since he started ads); 4) Peyton Manning in his final two years in Indianapolis (any ad, sucked then) compared to now (no ad, awesome); 5) Colin Kaepernick (the new ad fad, now *** ; and finally, 6) Drew Brees (nothing, awesome). I rest my case.
I have Peyton Manning, Colin Kaepernick, Knowshon Moreno and the Niners D.yup, I lost this week.
What Does Alex Smith Have in Common with Russell Wilson, Colin Kaepernick and Andrew Luck?JASON SEIBEL 1 hour ago on Arrowhead Addict As we rapidly approach the NFL’s week 7, there are two undefeated teams in the league. Of course anyone who hasn’t been living under a rock knows they are the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs. The Broncos have gotten to their position on the “record breaking” arm of quarterback Peyton Manning and perhaps the best wide receiver corps in the league. The Chiefs, as Addicts know, have won the last six games thanks to a violent and relentless defense who are on track to break a few records themselves. Because the Chiefs are winning there haven’t been many calls for Alex Smith to head to the bench. 2011 this is not and there aren’t planes buzzing Arrowhead calling for the resignation of quarterback. Aside from the handful of fans who were against the trade from the beginning and continue to voice their level of frustration at the Chiefs rookie general manager ...
Peyton Manning now has more rushing TDs than Colin Kaepernick, RG III, and Russell Wilson. Combined.
The Broncos are just rubbing it in now. Here's a short list of players with less rushing TDs in 2013 than Peyton Manning, after his bootleg run on Sunday: Chris Johnson, DeAngelo Williams, Ryan Mathews, Stevan Ridley, Ben Tate, Robert Griffin III, Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick.
Luck for president Picks Apart DA BEARS RULE, Makes It Four in a Row Luck for president took advantage of the second-highest score this week from Peyton Manning with 56.70 points (327 Pas Yds, 4 TD) to crush DA BEARS RULE, 135.60 - 89.70. With Luck for president undefeated and DA BEARS RULE winless, it appears that they are headed in different directions this season. Colin Kaepernick led DA BEARS RULE with 26.80 points (167 Pas Yds, 2 TD) while the Cowboys Defense racked up 20.30 (30 PA, 1 TD, 1 Sack, 1 Int). Luck for president (4-0, 543.40 points) remains in first place and DA BEARS RULE (0-4, 411.60 points) stays in last place. Luck for president takes on Riley Cooper Clux Clan (0-4, 451.10) next week, while DA BEARS RULE matches up with The Fin (1-3, 444.40).
The highest qb rating in the NFL for 2012 & 2013 in the NFL belongs to Peyton Manning. Number 2 - not Aaron Rodgers, not Tom Brady, not Colin Kaepernick . . . it is Russell Wilson. Go Hawks !
NFL let's get it together. Take a hint from the NBA about player interviews. Colin Kaepernick looked like a thug that they drug out of a high school corner locker. Hat backwards, Beats, and a hoody. Come on! You're PROFESSIONAL football players. Show a look of class instead of looking like a hood. And Jim Harbaugh's, Reverend Jim's responses are getting old. Question, ahh, spacey look around, answer. Question, ahh, spacey look around, answer. All we ask it that you all act like professionals. But I guess that really is too much to ask. D'oh, Peyton Manning acts like a professional, with a suit and tie. Tom Brady acts like a professional, etc.
The same guy I know that tried to convince me of how bad a quarterback Peyton Manning is, also tried to convince me that Colin Kaepernick is the next Joe Montana. Let us hold off on the Hall Of Fame nomination for a couple of years shall we?
Peyton Manning has 12 TD passes this season. That's as many as Andrew Luck, Colin Kaepernick, Joe Flacco & Carson Palmer …
So, treated the little ones to McDonalds today. This is the conversation in the van: Girl (8): Eli Manning eats at McDonald's Youngest son(7): No! He eats at Dunkin Donuts. Oldest son (10): He gets his coffee there too. Girl: But there is a Giants Uniform in the picture! (On the advert at McDonalds) Oldest: That guy is black. That's not Eli Manning (Arguing ensues) Me: Colin Kaepernick, Joe Flacco and Victor Cruz advertise McDonalds, okay? Eli does Dunkin Donuts. (exasperated voice) Girl: Why is Mommy mad? Oldest: Because Colin Kaepernick is messing up her fantasy football. Youngest: Peyton Manning likes pizza. Oldest: Peyton Manning likes anything. He has a lot of commercials. They are an endless source of entertainment.
Colin Kaepernick, you are killing me slowly and without mercy. You were so promising. You went to the Super Bowl and now you hand me 4 points for the week Four points? If I were your pimp I'd.o! Save me Peyton Manning! Or Cam Newton! Or any OTHER QB with points over 10. Shoot, I'd even take.Jay Cutler...Geno (ugh) Smith or eeep... Eli Manning. Yes, I'm spiraling out of control.
I remember when this *** said Colin Kaepernick was better than Peyton Manning. ROFLMFAO
any specific reason why you chose Colin Kaepernick over Peyton Manning and Drew Brees?
Elite. The word is defined by Merriam Webster’s dictionaryas meaning “The choice part” or “The best of a class”. So why is it that whensports are involved there is so much conversation that the word starts to loseit’s meaning? There are several factors that can influence arguments includingteam and player biases and lack of knowledge on the subject among other things. With all that said statistics don’t lie and is the case with Eli Manning, theytell the whole truth. You can spell Elite without Eli. First let’s take a pool of players whom most consider elite. We’ll make the pool 10 players, all of whom are still in the league. With those10 players we will provide 3 widely considered elite quarterbacks in Tom Brady,Peyton Manning, and Aaron Rodgers. The next set we’ll consider 3 QB’s thatthere is argument about whether they are or are not elite. They are Drew Brees,Ben Roethlisberger, and Matt Ryan. And the last tier of 3 we’ll throw in someunproven talent in RG3, Colin Kaepernick, and ...
San Fransisco lost not to Seattle but to there own game...many execution errors, 120 penalty yards, 3 picks, 2 forced fumbles, and 3 starting players getting injured on the field. Coach Harbaugh says he will address these isssues and have them fixed immediately. We should have had more double TE plays with Vermon Davis and Vance McDonald (who leveled Sherman last night) and use the height and speed of WR Jon Baldwin (who is quickly picking up the offense and should see some action next week at the stick). Also the read-option shouldn't be used as much when running the ball, but when we use it, run the ball straight ahead with RB king Frank Gore as lead blocker. I just can't wait for WR Michael Crabtree to return to the field and make plays (like he did last year) and have WR Anquan Boldin opposite of him. This past game has shown that QB Colin Kaepernick can communicate nonverbal audibles (like Peyton Manning does) when on the road in loud stadiums. Its just the beginning of the season and there is still ...
Just lost a ton of respect for Colin Kaepernick. He doesn't even shake hands with anyone after the game, he just runs to the locker room. Sore loser! Even Tom Brady and Peyton Manning shakes hands after the game. We miss you Pete Carroll, Fire Lane Kiffin!
Watch, the Russell Wilson vs Colin Kaepernick rivalry will replace the Tom Brady vs Peyton Manning rivalry in the future.
Peyton Manning’s game check today ($1,176,471) is 27 TIMES the paycheck Colin Kaepernick gets for tonight.
The ridiculousness of Week 1 is at an end. To be honest, we have no idea who are the contenders and who are the pretenders. If the season was over last week. Colin Kaepernick and Peyton Manning would be co-MVPs, Eagles would make the playoffs, Steelers are done, and the Jets would win 8 games. See? Well, the MVPs might not be outlandish. A bit rocky...went 10-6. Thanks, Bucs and Browns. Enough talk! Time for Week 2: Turner's RED ZONE Picks! 1-0 (Pats) Browns @ Ravens: Ah, Old vs New. but it shall be close thanks to Ray Horton's 3-4 Browns D BUT it's at Baltimore and they are angry. RAVENS. Panthers @ Bills: Cam Newton is the equivalent of Superman IV, EJ Manuel showed that he looks good in a cape, R. Wilson will pass it on to the FSU grad. BILLS. Titans @ Texans: Back to Houston and great memories of Astrodome, Bum Philipps. However, Texans now own Houston. Same with this game. WATT and TEXANS. Dolphins @ Colts: Andrew Luck proved that he's a true leader winning a hard fought game even though sacked 4 tim ...
Colin Kaepernick is a moron, you'd never catch Peyton Manning wearing a Saints or a Redskins hat...
Hakeem Nicks healthy, working out with Eli ** Giants WR Hakeem Nicks deemed himself "completely healthy" after undergoing knee surgery this offseason. He also revealed that he's been working out with QB Eli Manning since minicamps wrapped up. Nicks, of course, skipped most of the team's spring practices. “We hooked up twice this week already,” he said. “We’re going to do it again about two or three more times before (training) camp starts.” Nicks' chemistry with Manning isn't an issue. And he remains a top-notch talent entering a contract year. Durability remains the only concern -- and it's a big one. Nicks has missed 9 games over his first 4 seasons. He'll be a risk/reward WR2 in fantasy drafts this summer. Wes Welker will run similar routes in Denver ** If it ain't broke, don't fix it. That's the stance the Broncos are taking with new WR Wes Welker. QB Peyton Manning says the team is incorporating some of the same routes Welker ran in New England into their offense. "I’d be lying ...
I feel like Andrew Luck will be the next Peyton Manning/ Tom Brady of the upcoming decade. Like if you agree, comment who you think will be the next. -23hudini
Russell Wilson comes in at 51 of NFL's top 100 for 2013 Quarterback Russell Wilson joined Max Unger (No. 95), Percy Harvin (No. 90), and Earl Thomas (No. 66) as the fourth Seahawk to be represented on NFL Network's list of the Top 100 players of 2013, appearing at No. 51 on tonight's unveil of players ranked 51-60. He's also the fourth quarterback to crack the Top 100, as his peers voted him higher than fellow signal callers Colin Kaepernick of the San Francisco 49ers (No. 81), Matthew Stafford of the Detroit Lions (No. 76), and Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburgh Steelers (No. 61). It was what Wilson did a season ago for the Seahawks that landed him on this list. After being selected with the 75th overall pick (third round) of the 2012 NFL Draft, Wilson beat out incumbent starter Tarvaris Jackson and free-agent acquisition Matt Flynn to claim the starting job in preseason. He led Seattle on an 11-5 campaign where he tied Peyton Manning's 1998 record for the most touchdown passes by a rookie (26), became ...
The San Francisco 49ers Colin Kaepernick doesn't play or look like a prototypical quarterback along the lines of Tom Brady or Peyton Manning. And the fact that Kaepernick is so different has been great for merchandise sales. In recent weeks, Colin Kaepernick's no.
Top QBs in the nfl: Eli Manning, Colin Kaepernick, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Matthew Stafford. In that order.
2012 QBR winners - in order: - Peyton Manning - Tom Brady - Colin Kaepernick - Matt Ryan - Aaron Rodgers - Robert Griffin III - Alex Smith 2 of the top 7 QB's in the whole NFL played on the same team. Crazy.
“We beat the future in Andrew Luck. We beat the past in Peyton Manning. We beat the present in Tom Brady. Then we beat the best show on offense in the NFL in the 49ers in Colin Kaepernick. The toughest road in these playoffs, we did it. We did it together.” Suggs
I have a new QB.Peyton Manning always be my favorite but this is my second favorite his name is Colin Kaepernick from the 49ers... .Peyton handsome Colin is just sexy as all get out .
So the debate goes on regarding whether or not Joe Flacco is an "elite" QB. Well, here's a list of QBs I would take ahead of him (in no particular order). RG3, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Ben Roethlisberger, Matt Ryan, Matthew Stafford, Colin Kaepernick, Andrew Luck, and Russell Wilson. So I have him as the 13th best QB in the league at best. If that makes him elite, then yes, he's elite.
Playoff QBs not drafted in Rd 1 by current team: Peyton Manning, Colin Kaepernick, Russell Wilson, Andy Dalton, Matt Schaub, Tom Brady.
Since 2000, QB's to make the Super Bowl. Kurt Warner, Steve McNair, Trent Dilfer, Kerry Collins, Tom Brady, Brad Johnson, Rich Gannon, Jake Delhommme, Donovan McNabb, Ben Roethlisberger, Matt Hasselbeck, Peyton Manning, Rex Grossman, Eli Manning, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Colin Kaepernick, Joe Flacco. If you were to rank these QBs where would they stack up against one another? I didn't put repeats in there but most of you should know who's been to multiple bowls. - Vishal
"Ray Lewis is a murderer" You're all right. He murdered Andrew Luck, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Colin Kaepernick on his way to a ring :)
Joe Flacco beats Peyton Manning, Tom Brady and Colin Kaepernick on the road - not to mention a blackout. Pay the man.
His name doesn't carry the same gravitas as peers like Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, but Joe Flacco is on pace for one of the greatest postseason statistical performances in NFL history. He has thrown eight touchdowns with no interceptions during the playoffs. The only quarterbacks to finish the postseason with at least nine touchdowns and no interceptions are 49ers greats who are now in the Pro Football Hall of Fame: Joe Montata (11 TDs in 1989) and Steve Young (nine TDs in 1994). The further emergence of Flacco as the league's best deep passer puts him in line for a massive offseason contract extension. Grade: 8.5. San Francisco: A little more than two months ago, Colin Kaepernick was making his second career NFL start in New Orleans replacing the injured Alex Smith (concussion). Kaepernick is now returning to the Louisiana Superdome on the verge of leading his team to a championship. Kaepernick's running skills and strong arm have provided elements to San Francisco's offense that were lacking under Smit ...
In the playoffs this year, the Ravens D held Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck to passer ratings 17 points lower than their season averages. They held Tom Brady to a passer rating of 62.3, his worst all year and over 36 points lower than his season average. Colin Kaepernick hasn't beaten a quality defense all year and is about to face a Ravens D that's held three top-ten offenses to an average of 14.3 points over the last three weeks.
Colin Kaepernick did the passing and running, and Aaron Rodgers just couldn't keep up. Kaepernick outplayed the reigning NFL MVP (Most Valued Player) and former Super Bowl champion in one sensational, record-setting playoff debut and led the San Francisco 49ers right back to the NFC (National Football Conference) Championship Game with a 45-31 win over the Green Bay Packers in an NFC divisional game. Next up for the Niners: a game on Jan. 20 for a spot in the NFL Super Bowl, against the winner of Sunday's game between the Seattle Seahawks and Falcons at Atlanta. In the first AFC (American Football Conference) divisional game the record will show Justin Tucker kicked a 47-yard field goal 1:42 into the second overtime to give the Baltimore Ravens a 38-35 victory over Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. The highlight? That would be the Ravens quarterback, Joe Flacco's game-tying touchdown to Jacoby Jones on third-and-3 from the 30 with 31 seconds left in regulation and no timeouts. This game, the longest ...
Okay, well I was way off on my Superbowl predictions, but I really like this mach up between the two brothers. I've kinda joined the Ravens/Ray Lewis bandwagon because I like that team way better than the 49s. However, I believe the 49s are going to win because their team is a tad bit better and their QB is preforming great. I also hate Jim Harbaugh for what he did to Alex Smith and how he acted to Jim Schwartz (Lions Coach) two years ago. But the Only way I see the Ravens winning is if Joe Flacco has an excelling game and if the defense contains Colin Kaepernick. All I know though is that it's going to be a great game.
One more posting and I'll let it go . it occurred to me as I sit here and read about this year's playoffs to date that there is a new breed of QB and team approach. We are now in an era of Joe Wilson-Seattle; Cam Newton-Carolina; Joe Flacco-Baltimore; RGIII-Redskins; Colin Kaepernick-49ers; Andrew Luck-Colts; Matt Ryan-Falcons . the 'new' guys. Is it the beginning of the end for another era ...??... Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Tony Romo (ha), even Aaron Rogers . It will be very interesting to see where teams go and how they draft in April. OK...I'm done
Chicago Sun-Times sports columnist Rick Morrissey's article on the Chicago Bears new coach wrote "The first thing he needs to do is stop treating Cutler as though he's something special. He isn't. If Gabe Carimi could protect Cutler the way Lovie Smith did, the Bears wouldn't have offensive-line problems. Cutler is a quarterback who should feel lucky he has a chance to prove more than what he has proved so far in Chicago. If they watched the playoffs last weekend, they have to know Cutler isn't in the same league as Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, Peyton Manning, Matt Ryan, Colin Kaepernick or even Joe Flacco. The Bears have invested a lot of money in Cutler, and I'm sure they're thinking that, at this point, they can't find anyone better. But he hasn't improved as a quarterback here. I'm worried that in hiring Trestman, Emery is giving in to the idea that the coach has to have a special relationship with Cutler; i.e., that he has to be sensitive to every one of Cutler's mood swings. That's the ...
SAT, JAN 12 Baltimore 38, Denver 35 (2OT) - What is left to be said about this game that hasn't already been said. Lord knows I don't like Peyton Manning for a variety of reasons but he wasn't the sole reason that the Broncos blew this game. How does a defense playing prevent let ANYONE to run past them? How does a team blow a game in which they have 2 kick/punt returns for TDs? You have Manning and his offense along with a homefield advantage, how don't you at least try to go for a victory in the last 30 seconds of regulation? Sure Manning threw a godawful pass in the 2nd OT but let's face it, this was a team wide collapse allowing the Ravens a chance to advance and Joe Flacco took full advantage of that. San Francisco 45, Green Bay 31 - Speaking of collapses, remember how the Packers Defense said "holding" Adrian Peterson to 99 yards in the 1st round was a confidence boost? Well I guess that got deflated in the 2nd Half because at 24-24, Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers' runniing game just went wild ...
Here is what FOX Sports sent me via e-mail. They sure like their golden child! Dan - Happy New Year to you and your family. It has come to my attention that you have a petition with 600 signatures from Packers fans asking that Troy be removed from calling their games. While I certainly respect yours and everyone else's opinion on that petition, I am letting you know today that Troy will continue to call the biggest games we broadcast each year involving the Packers. The reason he will continue is that we feel he is the best NFL analyst in television mainly because he is objective about every team he covers, including the Packers. In fact, Troy has said on air this season that Mike McCarthy is the best coach and play caller in the NFL and that Aaron Rodgers is not only the best QB in the NFL but he deserved as many MVP votes as Peyton Manning or Adrian Peterson. Furthermore, I was in the booth with Joe and Troy on Saturday night in San Francisco. Troy began immediately criticizing Colin Kaepernick for his ...
I know this is super nerdy but I wanted to do it. My Top 10 QB's of 2012. I am fully aware that most of you will disagree with me but that's cool. I'll still be your friend. 1. Peyton Manning - See's the field better than anybody. A coach/player 2.Tom Brady - I give Peyton the edge only because he is the OC an QB. 3. Aaron Rogers - Better pure passer than anybody but still makes mistakes. 4. Drew Brees - So so good but slowing down a tiny bit. 5. Russel Wilson - Brains/arm/feet and only a rookie! 6. Matt Ryan - Really talented but I want to see him do better under pressure. 7. Andrew Luck - No QB was asked to do more than this guy all year. 8. Robert Griffin III - Best hybrid QB but needs to know when to slow down. 9. Colin Kaepernick - He is gonna be really good. Arm still a little shaky. 10. Tony Romo - I don't care what anybody says. He covers up for all the crap the cowboys get wrong. If the cowboys had a lesser QB they would absolutely terrible. 1-4 you could put into any order really. I thin ...
Okay, this was brought up last night at work. Why? I don't know. I was asked if I could name 10 QBs that I think are better than Jay Cutler. I came up with 12. Here is how is worked out: Better than Cutler: Aaron Rodgers, Matthew Stafford, Ben Roethlisberger, Robert Griffin III, Tom Brady, Cam Newton, Matt Ryan, Drew Bress, Josh Freeman, Andrew Luck, Matt Schaub, and Peyton Manning. About the same: Joe Flacco, Andy Dalton, Eli Manning, Tony Romo, Colin Kaepernick, Russell Wilson, Philip Rivers Cutler is better than: Christian Ponder, Brandon Weeden, Nick Foles, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Ryan Tannehill, Mark Sanchez, Jake Locker, Chad Henne, Kevin Kolb, Matt Cassel, Carson Palmer and Sam Bradford Again, this is just my opinion. Let the debate begin.
Our Denver Broncos lost to the Baltimore Ravens yesterday in a home playoff game they were heavily favored in. People have been asking me what happened to them, how could that happen. Here's my explanation, more of my offbeat observations about sports you won't hear anywhere else: - Why the Broncos lost to the Ravens: they're a house-money team! Listening to the Broncos talking after the game, from coach John Fox to Peyton Manning and even Champ Bailey, everybody seemed shocked and disappointed about the loss but not crushed. They all felt they had a great season and are looking forward to being back next year, which they should be. I thought this loss would be comparable to the Jacksonville loss in '96 when they were the top seed and lost that 1st playoff game at home, but it's not the same. Why? That '96 team was loaded and expected to get to the Super Bowl, although they were flawed which Jacksonville exposed. This year's team was not expected to be this good, they were actually "playing on house money ...
As kickoff is just happened, i have the kids mess cleaned up, one wathcing a movie and one laid down for her nap, lets talk about my awful prections for the NFL playoffs. So far to this period I am 1-5, that's football. You would think the playoffs might be a little more predictable, apparently not. Maybe I am a curse? This makes today's selections even more challenging. How the Broncos secondary let Flacco throw a bomb for a td in prevent defense with 30 seconds left, I have still not figured out. Ray Lewis has been saved from a life sentence twice, once from a court decision and once from a Peyton Manning decision. Oh, and I think Colin Kaepernick shoved it right up my alast night. Was he great or what? I was wrong. If anyone can find A.J. Hawk, B.J. Raji and Clay Matthews, please let me know. They were lost! Following the 49ers win, are they the team to beat? The arrogance and cockiness is overwhelming, but so is there offense. Seattle vs Atlanta: The Falcons have gone under the radar all season. With a ...
THE HARBAUGH HIGHLIGHTS: SF 49er's Head Coach Jim Harbaugh changes quarterbacks in mid-season. QB Colin Kaepernick breaks the ALL-TIME rushing record--regular or post season for a signal caller against Green Bay. Baltimore Head Coach has his Offensive Co-ordinator fired and the Ravens rack up 38 points today in a 2OT game against Denver.both brothers' teams win. Could we see a Harbaugh vs Harbaugh coaching match-up in the Super Bowl? Your thoughts. A post-script to the Denver football 2012-13 campaign: Tim Tebow took the Broncos further than Peyton Manning did in the postseason last year.Mm.
NFL Divisional Playoff Picks. Got em all right on wild card weekend (trust me, I did lol), let's see if I do the same this upcoming week... Broncos over Ravens 31-17 (Awesome career for Ray Lewis ends in Denver. Baltimore did well to beat Indy in Round 1, but going on the road to face Peyton Manning rather than facing a rookie (albeit an extremely talented one in Andrew Luck) at home is a whole different animal. Cheatriots over Texans 30-20 (I'll say Houston gives a better game here than they did in the regular season, but I don't see them having enough offense to win this one) Packers over 49ers 23-20 (The 49ers did win in Green Bay on opening week, but that was four months ago and also with Alex Smith at QB. This time Colin Kaepernick is the QB for San Fran. I'm taking the Pack) Seahawks over Falcons 27-24 (Losing Chris Clemons is a huge blow for the Seattle defense, but fortunately they still have 'Beast Mode' in Marshawn Lynch to win the time of possession battle, a rookie QB mature beyond his years i ...
I'm tired of this read option in the nfl. All that means is you don't have a quarterback that can throw the ball. It also means you have to rely off or play fakes and college plays to win. Look what happen to RG3. He got dominated, Joe Webb same thing. Well see with Kaepernick. (we all know it's the Niner D is what is the only thing legit). Anyway ale your pick. Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Andrew Luck( who had 5 rushing touchdowns) Eli Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Matt Ryan or RGIII, Cam Newton, Colin Kaepernick, soon to be Geno Smith, Alex Smith?
So... I guess my predictions were pretty terrible. But luckily, I have a short memory and am back at it again! Baltimore at Denver I must say, I was surprised by how well the Ravens played the Colts today. But the way the Broncos are playing right now, I think only a handful of teams can even come close to competing with them and the Ravens aren't one of them. I think Peyton Manning is a man on a mission, the Bronco's top two receivers are ginormous and their defense is perfectly suited to close out games with a fierce pass rush. Going with the home team... Den. 31, Bal. 14 Green Bay at San Francisco Great game, great matchup, great rematch. These two teams met week 1 and the 49ers barely left Lambeau with a win. The difference now? Colin Kaepernick is the starting QB now. But Kaepernick is a high risk, high reward QB. And untested in the playoffs. Charles Woodson gets a couple of picks and the Packers squeak it out this time... GB 38, SF 17 Houston at New England Another rematch and this time, I think th ...
Aaron Rodgers, Matt Ryan, Russell Wilson, Colin Kaepernick, Tom Brady, Joe Flacco, Matt Schaub, Peyton Manning. These are the QB's still in the playoffs. Huge stage for RW3 to prove he belongs
Hey Saints. RG3, Cam Newton, Matt Cassel, Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, Colin Kaepernick, Matt Ryan, Eli Manning and Cam Newton again would all just like to say suck it this season! That game puts 2012 Saints as the official worst defense in NFL History. I'm a "hater", I know!
Jets' quarterback options for next year (NFL and college) When the Jets go shopping for a quarterback in the offseason, to either unseat or replace Mark Sanchez, they will find the grocery shelves hardly stocked with names that will excite the fan base. But then again, who ever thought Russell Wilson or Colin Kaepernick were going to turn out to be stars. NFL OPTIONS Alex Smith, 49ers He would be the first choice. And with Kaepernick now the No. 1 in SF, Smith will want out. He has emerged as more than a game manager, and he is efficient, which makes him the ideal Rex Ryan quarterback. He signed a three-year, $24 million deal shortly after Jim Harbaugh kicked the tires on Peyton Manning, but Smith is not guaranteed his $7.5 million salary in 2013 if he is not a 49er after April 1. Carson Palmer, Raiders His 2013 salary cap number is $15.335 million. Gulp. Can still play (22 TDs, 14 INTs, 60.8 completion percentage). Don’t hold your breath. Matt Flynn, Seahawks Hardly a sure thing, but he was schooled un ...
Looks like Colin Kaepernick has enough plays to figure in season-to-date Total QBR rankings. He is 2nd to Peyton Manning.
Last year Niners beat the Saints BECAUSE of Alex Smith. After today's game I cannot honestly say that the Niners won today because of Colin Kaepernick, especially when the defense scored 2 TD's that won the game. But for those 2 TD's the score would have been 17-21 Saints. Alex Smith's performance last year was more impressive than Kaepernick's performance today. OVER IT!! Go PEYTON MANNING!!!
I called this first but Colin Kaepernick will be a future Hall Of Famer! Arm like a Peyton Manning & Tom Brady!
We didn't need Peyton Manning when we already had a 2-for-1 special in Alex Smith and Colin Kaepernick! Sweet.
theres a reason Jim Harbaugh went after Peyton Manning, there was a reason he drafted Colin Kaepernick
