Colin Kaepernick & Matt Schaub
Colin Rand Kaepernick (born November 3, 1987) is an American football quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League. Matthew Rutledge Schaub (born June 25, 1981) is an American football starting quarterback for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). /5
Colin Kaepernick Matt Schaub Eli Manning Tom Brady Russell Wilson Joe Flacco Andy Dalton Aaron Rodgers Andrew Luck Matt Ryan Alex Smith Josh Freeman Ben Roethlisberger Peyton Manning Cam Newton Jay Cutler Matthew Stafford San Francisco Ryan Tannehill Carson Palmer
As would have Steve DeBerg, Colin Kaepernick, and Matt Schaub. And JaBustus Russell. And Oscar the Grouch.
Colin Kaepernick: Hi, my name is Colin and my career was changed forever by Matt Schaub: Hey. Me, too.
Matt Schaub is very proud of Colin Kaepernick's day today...
I don't like how quickly people turn on QB's in the league. It's so up and down and I'm tired of it. For example: QB's who are currently "Bad": Eli Manning, Big Ben, Colin Kaepernick, Matt Schaub, Cam Newton, RGIII (Who was considered God last year) QB's who are currently "Good": Phillip Rivers, Ryan Tannehill, Alex Smith (Who is nothing but a game manager) Sorry, I'm just tired of the back and forth. Quit judging QB's off of one season.
What do Ben Roethlisberger, Eli Manning, Matt Schaub, Carson Palmer, Gino Smith, Joe Flacco and Colin Kaepernick all have in common? Each of these NFL quarterbacks has turned the ball over more this year than the number of touchdowns they've scored. Something doesn't make sense here.
...and Cam Newton, and Matthew Stafford, and Michael Vick (but he got injured), and Matt Schaub, and Colin Kaepernick, and Tom Brady...
The Texans lost to Colin Kaepernick, Frank Gore, Vernon Davis, NaVorro Bowman, Justin Smith, Donte Whitner (Donte is changing his last name to Hitner but he can't do that because of the government shutdown), Eric Reid and the San Francisco 49ers 34-3. Matt Schaub threw a pick 6 interception for the touchdown for the 4th game in a row on his 1st pass of the game, setting the all-time NFL record. Gary Kubiak keeping Schaub in the game and leaving him out to dry to get embarrased on national television because Matt threw 2 more interceptions after that and he had 3 on the night. Gary Kubiak is going to make a decision and it will not be a popular decision and I have a feeling that Gary is going to stick with Matthew Rutledge Schaub as the starting quarterback because he believes in Matt as a person and a player. The Texans are now 2-3 on the season and are in a world of trouble right now and it's the 1st time since 2010 that the Texans have been under .500. Let's bring on 2008 Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradf ...
Terrelle Pryor has posted a Total QBR above 55 in two of his three games this season, something Colin Kaepernick, Matt Schaub, Eli Manning and Andy Dalton can't say.
Tarvaris Jackson was a better FF QB than Colin Kaepernick, Eli Manning, Sam Bradford, Matt Schaub, Josh Freeman and Phili…
Football friends: would you accept this trade, and why or why not: I would trade Arian Foster, Matt Schaub, and Greg Olsen and receive Antonio Gates, Matt Forte, and Colin Kaepernick
Playoff QBs not drafted in Rd 1 by current team: Peyton Manning, Colin Kaepernick, Russell Wilson, Andy Dalton, Matt Schaub, Tom Brady.
man, I swear that people just dig so deep to find reasons to hate on others that are doing well. I heard that there are people hating on Colin Kaepernick because hes a starting QB in the NFL and has tattoos.just ridiculous
Where does everyone rank the following quarterbacks (out of 32): Joe Flacco, Andy Dalton, Russell Wilson, Matt Schuab, Andrew Luck, and Colin Kaepernick?
Okay, this was brought up last night at work. Why? I don't know. I was asked if I could name 10 QBs that I think are better than Jay Cutler. I came up with 12. Here is how is worked out: Better than Cutler: Aaron Rodgers, Matthew Stafford, Ben Roethlisberger, Robert Griffin III, Tom Brady, Cam Newton, Matt Ryan, Drew Bress, Josh Freeman, Andrew Luck, Matt Schaub, and Peyton Manning. About the same: Joe Flacco, Andy Dalton, Eli Manning, Tony Romo, Colin Kaepernick, Russell Wilson, Philip Rivers Cutler is better than: Christian Ponder, Brandon Weeden, Nick Foles, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Ryan Tannehill, Mark Sanchez, Jake Locker, Chad Henne, Kevin Kolb, Matt Cassel, Carson Palmer and Sam Bradford Again, this is just my opinion. Let the debate begin.
I'm just spitballin' here, but I don't think Matt Schaub is as fast as Colin Kaepernick
So the last rookie QB standing is the one who was drafted in the third round, with the 75th pick overall. Say what? I was laughed out the barber shop preseason when I said Russell Wilson would have the last laugh. And look at the postseason company he is keeping: The future Hall of Fame trio of Manning, the Patriots’ Tom Brady and Packers’ Aaron Rodgers; the Ravens’ Joe Flacco and Falcons’ Matt Ryan, first-round picks in 2008; as well as the Texans’ Matt Schaub and 49ers’ Colin Kaepernick, who entered the league as third- and second-round picks in 2004 and 2011. It's safe to say, NO ONE IS LAUGHING NOW!! Well.maybe I am just a little bit, LOL!
Seattle over Atlanta...Matt Ryan threw 5 INTs n a game this year, im still stuck there... GB over San Fran...Colin Kaepernick's time has come to an end... Broncos over Ravens...no brainer, its Peyton... Patriots over Texans...simple bc Matt Schaub *** ..
Aaron Rodgers, Matt Ryan, Russell Wilson, Colin Kaepernick, Tom Brady, Joe Flacco, Matt Schaub, Peyton Manning. These are the QB's still in the playoffs. Huge stage for RW3 to prove he belongs
You know what's crazy these quarterbacks are in the playoffs (the number is the number of playoff games they have played) Robert Griffin 0 Russell Wilson 0 Andrew Luck 0 Colin Kaepernick 0 Christian Ponder 0 Matt Schaub 0 Andy Dalton 1 These quarterbacks aren't in Eli Manning 2 Super Bowl Titles Ben Roethlisberger 2 Super Bowl Titles Drew Brees 1 Super Bowl Title
Which NFL quarterback's leadership potential could having him & his team hoisting the Lambardi trophy at the conclusion of SuperBowl XLVII Sunday, February 3, 2013, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans: Matt Ryan, Alex Smith or Colin Kaepernick, Jay Cutler, Eli Manning, Aaron Rogers, Josh Freeman, Russell Wilson or Matt Flynn, Tom Brady, Joe Flacco, Ben Roethlisberger, Andy Dalton, Matt Schaub, Andrew Luck or Payton Manning.
should i start Colin Kaepernick or Matt Schaub??? And turner or fred jackson??? Thanks!
Jets are so bad they need to consider signing San Fran's back up Colin Kaepernick, he might turn out to be another Matt Schaub who the Jets wanted but didnt get before Drafting for Dirty Sanchez .
to start Colin Kaepernick, Matt Schaub, or Andrew Luck? decisions, decisions.
Alex Smith's $7.5 base salary for 2013 becomes guaranteed if he's on the 49ers' roster by April 1. He's also due a $1 million roster bonus in March. Although Yahoo's Jason Cole predicts Colin Kaepernick's rocket arm and electric running ability will instigate a "serious quarterback controversy in San Francisco pretty soon," it's hard to envision the 49ers cutting ties with Smith as long as he directs the team to the playoffs. The salaries of the two QBs combined is far less than the total devoted to the position by most NFL teams. Smith's winning percentage (77) is behind only Aaron Rodgers and Matt Schaub since Jim Harbaugh took over as head coach.
For Houston's T.J. Yates, after last year's playoff run, it's back to the bench for more development behind Matt Schaub, with another chance likely depending on the starter's health. And while Alex Smith's new three-year, $24 million deal could be seen as bad news for Colin Kaepernick, the contract itself is a lot like Matt Flynn's in Seattle -- it's starter money, but hardly marries the club to the quarterback.
