Colin Kaepernick & Andrew Luck
Colin Rand Kaepernick (born November 3, 1987) is an American football quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League. Andrew Austen Luck (born September 12, 1989) is an American football quarterback for Stanford University. /5
Colin Kaepernick Andrew Luck Russell Wilson Cam Newton Tom Brady Peyton Manning Andy Dalton Eli Manning Aaron Rodgers Alex Smith Joe Flacco Drew Brees Matt Ryan Nick Foles Jay Cutler Christian Ponder Tony Romo Ryan Tannehill Ben Roethlisberger Jake Locker
Colin Kaepernick scored a remarkable 38 on his predraft Wonderlic Test--higher than Andrew Luck and Aaron Rodgers. Don't call him dumb.
FUN FACT: QBs Eli Manning, Russell Wilson, Andrew Luck, Colin Kaepernick, and Blake Bortles have NEVER beaten the Charg…
"Andrew Luck has the lowest passer rating in the NFL. 65.1 - Lower than Colin Kaepernick and Ryan Mallett.". -
The young and better than Tannehill crowd: Cam Newton, Russell Wilson, Colin Kaepernick, Andrew Luck, Andy Dalton, RG3, Nick…
Can ANYBODY please hook me up with either a Cam Newton , Andrew Luck or Colin Kaepernick on XboxOne ? They don't have to be Elites!?
Niners batter mistake-prone Cowboys...Dolphins rally past Pats...Panthers win without Newton UNDATED (AP) - The Denver Broncos have begun their AFC title defense by jumping out to a 24-0 lead before hanging on for dear life. Peyton Manning threw three touchdown passes to Julius Thomas in the second quarter of the Broncos' 31-24 triumph over the Indianapolis Colts. Manning was 22 of 36 for 269 yards and no interceptions as the Broncos won their first meaningful game since their Super Bowl loss to Seattle last February. Montee Ball's three-yard scoring run put Denver ahead 31-10 with about 10 minutes left before Andrew Luck hit Dwayne Allen and Hakeem Nicks for TDs 4:20 apart to make it close. The Colts had a chance to tie the game until Luck threw an incompletion on fourth down in Denver territory with 1:57 left. Luck had 370 passing yards but was picked off twice. In other NFL season openers: - Colin Kaepernick threw a pair of touchdown passes to Vernon Davis while the Niners were building a 28-3 halftime ...
What will Andrew Luck, Russell Wilson, Aaron Rodgers, and Colin Kaepernick do to this secondary if Chad Henne is picking then apart?
Not Cam Newton. Not Colin Kaepernick. Numbers say Andrew Luck will be the next best QB in the NFL.
Who are you building your team around?. 1) Colin Kaepernick. 2) Russell Wilson. 3) Andrew Luck. 4) Cam Newton. 5) Robert Griffin III
Now that Colin Kaepernick's new contract is officially wrapped up, discussion has started to turn to other quarterbacks in the league. Andrew Luck, Russell Wilson, and Robert Griffin III will all...
Colts QB Andrew Luck not concerned with Colin Kaepernick’s mega-deal with the 49ers:.
SI NFL: Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck not concerned with Colin Kaepernick extension
Andrew Luck had something less than a demonstrative reaction to San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick's new six-year contract extension
My rankings of the young QB's in the League: You can tell I like guys who can go through their progressions and have a more solid grasp of fundamentals over guys who are uber athletic, for the most part. Kaepernick is a big question for me because he hasn't shown me that he can dissect an NFL defense at all. The only 3 that I would want QBing my team, as of today, are the first 3. I'm excited to see how Bridgewater fairs under heavy fire. He has the mind. I'm wondering if he has the arm. 1.Andrew Luck 2.Russell Wilson 3.Nick Foles 4.Colin Kaepernick 5.Andy Dalton 6.Mike Glennon 7.Teddy Bridgewater 8.Robert Griffin III 9.Cam Newton 10.Ryan Tannehill 11.EJ Manuel 12.Johnny Manziel 13.Jake Locker 14.Blake Bortles 15.Geno Smith
For a team that prides itself on running the football, how do the 49ers plan to get a return on a six-year, $110 million ($61 mil guaranteed) investment in Colin Kaepernick? It's the most guaranteed money made by an individual in NFL history...it's Colin Kaepernick. Cam Newton coming, Andrew Luck and Russell Wilson coming, Alex Smith contracts all coming up within the next two seasons. WOW!
Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Aaron Rogers, Russel Wilson, Andrew Luck, Colin Kaepernick..there's 7 that are better
The 4 finalists for the Madden cover is Richard Sherman, Andrew Luck, Colin Kaepernick, and Cam Newton
How much is Tom Condon seeking for his client, Alex Smith? He has already landed Peyton Manning $18 Million a year, Drew Brees $18.4 Million a year, Tony Romo $17 Million a year, Matt Ryan $16.5 Million a year and will be negotiating hefty deals for Eli Manning and Matt Stafford, soon. Not long after Aaron Rodgers, Joe Flacco and Jay Cutler all with big deals and with other QBs working behind the scenes on extensions(Colin Kaepernick & Ben Roethlisberger) and others who will be needing dealt with over the next 12 months(Russell Wilson, Cam Newton, Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III) just how much can we pay Smith? Any extension, as discussed in depth; will already cost us the services of Tamba Hali. A huge extension, more then likely chops Brandon Flowers or Dwayne Bowe off, also. SO, serious questions. Are we at a place where we can even make this deal? Will Alex stick with his QB brethren and increase the average pay for QBs or will he cut us a deal?
Just read Colin Kaepernick scored a 37 on the Wonderlic Test (tests cognitive ability) which is tied with Andrew Luck as the highest score for a QB in the last 3 years. Russell Wilson scored a 28. 20 is average. 50 is a perfect score. Would never have guessed! Didn't realize Kaepernick was a smart dude. Let the "dumbest smart guy around" comments begin...
This article is so ridiculous! "Tannehill still has much to improve upon to be mentioned in the same breath as other young quarterbacks like Andrew Luck, Colin Kaepernick, Russell Wilson, Robert Griffin III or Cam Newton." How dare them compare Tannehill with RG3? Really?
From ESPN, Grantland, the 5 Laws of Free Agency, "5. None of it REALLY matters. For as much attention as Free Agency gets, always remember that no matter how well any team does in the market, your favorite team’s still probably losing to the teams with Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Andrew Luck, Aaron Rodgers, Colin Kaepernick, and possibly Matt Stafford if the Lions finally surround him with enough talent to mitigate his mediocrity. This should be an addendum to every single one of the 10,000 free-agency grading columns on the Internet."
I wonder who will win a Super Bowl first Andrew Luck, Colin Kaepernick, Matthew Stafford, Matt Ryan or Cam Newton.
The rest of the top 10 most-liked players: Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III, Saints quarterback Drew Brees, Cardinals wideout Larry Fitzgerald, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, Giants quarterback Eli Manning, Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith and Colts quarterback Andrew Luck. Interestingly, Smith ranks ahead of 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who took Smith's job in San Francisco and played in the Super Bowl a year ago but sits only 14th on the most-liked list.
Looking at the future with Andrew Luck, Colin Kaepernick, Russell Wilson and RGIII
I grade how good are these QB's by "tiers" or "categories". For Example, I give a QB a 6 if they are elite, 5 if they are very good, 4 if they are good, 3 if they are average, 2 if they are below average, and 1 if they are bad. Here is my opinion on top QB's. What is your ratings based on these QB's? 6- Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees 5- Ben Rothliesberger, Andrew Luck, Philip Rivers, Nick Foles, Matt Ryan 4- Ryan Tannehill, Alex Smith, Tony Romo, Jay Cutler, Cam Newton, Russell Wilson 3- Andy Dalton, Joe Flacco, Eli Manning, Robert Griffin III, Matthew Stafford, Mike Glennon, Colin Kaepernick, Carson Palmer 2- Bills QB's (Manuel, Lewis), Titans QB's (Locker, Fitzpatrick), Rams QB's (Bradford, Clemens), Raiders QB's (Pryor, McGloin) 1- Geno Smith, Chad Henne, Browns QB's (Weeden, Campbell), Vikings QB's (Ponder, Cassel, Freeman) I would put Kirk Cousins, Matt Flynn, Josh Mccown, Michael Vick, and Brian Hoyer somewhere in this system but they have not played enough games to earn a spec ...
WHY FLACCO IS UNDERPAID Flacco signed his contract last year, earning an average of $20.1 million per season on a six-year deal. Of the $120 million, he is only guaranteed a reported $51 million. He touches the ball on virtually every single offensive play. Meanwhile, MLB pitcher Clayton Kershaw signed his $215 million contract last winter, earning $30 million per season over seven years. The money is fully guaranteed. He pitches every fifth day. NBA guard Kobe Bryant is making more than $30 million a season at the end of his career. The average NBA salary is $5 million, a figure La Canfora says Andy Dalton, Colin Kaepernick, Andrew Luck, Russell Wilson and Nick Foles "won't come close" to reaching this season.
I remember some ppl at ESPN was saying RGIII, Andrew Luck, Cam Newton, and/or Colin Kaepernick would win a SB before Russell Wilson. I wonder what thery're thinking right now?
Russell Wilson winning this Super Bowl only in his 2nd year puts a lot of pressure on Andrew Luck, RGIII, Colin Kaepernick, and especially Cam Newton
Congrats you won a before RG3, Andrew Luck, Cam Newton, Nick Foles and Colin Kaepernick. Humble calf drink the most milk.
Fans voted they would take Foles over San Francisco's Colin Kaepernick, Carolina's Cam Newton, Indianapolis' Andrew Luck, and Seattle's Russell Wilson.
Thank the Patriots -- Nick Foles makes Pro Bowl By:Reuban Frank CSNPhilly.com Nick Foles is the first Eagles quarterback to make the Pro Bowl since Michael Vick in 2010. (AP) Nick Foles, who didn’t start a game until mid-October and wasn’t named the Eagles’ permanent starter until the last week of November, became a Pro Bowl pick Saturday night. Foles was named following voting by coaches, players and fans last month as the first alternate for the Pro Bowl, but once the Patriots beat the Colts in a conference semifinal playoff game Saturday night in Foxboro, it became impossible for Foles not to make the team. There are six teams still alive in the postseason and five have Pro Bowl QBs. So at least one of the remaining quarterbacks has to reach the Super Bowl and drop out of the Pro Bowl. Going into the weekend, the only way Foles couldn’t make the Pro Bowl was with a 49ers-Colts Super Bowl, since Colin Kaepernick and Andrew Luck are the only quarterbacks that reached the second round of the playo ...
In my opinion i think Russel Wilson, Colin Kaepernick, and Andrew Luck are the new breed of QB's
Taking Drew Brees, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady out of the equation, Our question of the day is, which Quarterback from this weekends game would you take: Andrew Luck- Colts Russell Wilson- Seahawks Phillip Rivers-Chargers Colin Kaepernick- 49ers Cam Newton-Panthers
Imagine Donovan McNabb (not eating so much Chunky Soup) with Colin Kaepernick's arm and Andrew Luck's leadership... That's Jame…
He just said Colin Kaepernick better than Andrew Luck LMAO I'm done
Here are the picks for this weekend, boys and girls: Packers over 49ers: Home field and a huge advantage at the most important position, quarterback. Make no mistake about it, Colin Kaepernick is incredibly over-rated and a borderline liability against anything but an atrocious pass defense. Plus, I just feel like the Packers and Rodgers are flying high coming off an emotional win. Saints over Eagles: I know the Saints have struggled on the road, but I just feel like they are that much better than the Eagles. They have a stronger defense and this will be the first career playoff game for Foles, who is essentially a rookie. Drew Brees finds a way to win that game. Colts over Chiefs: I feel like these teams are pretty evenly matched, but the Colts have home field and when in doubt, go with the better quarterback. Alex Smith can't hold Andrew Luck's jock strap. Chargers over Bengals: This really just boils down to the fact that I plain don't trust Andy Dalton. If the Chargers can go into Denver and hold Peyt ...
Colin Kaepernick, Andrew Luck or Matt Flynn who would you start this week in your league?
Welp Jaws does his QB rankings pre season and I will do mine 3/4 of the way through. 1. Peyton Manning (obvious) 2. Tom Brady (Timmy Terrific) 3. Aaron Rodgers (tough call over Breesy but gotta do it) 4. Drew Brees (major separation from these 4 on down) 5. Tony Romo (gut check time) 6. Ben Roethlisberger (the rings won't carry you too much further) 7. Matt Ryan (tough year, but body of work) 8. Eli Manning (rings is all you can say) 9. Phillip Rivers (big bounce back year, last two an anomaly) 10. Russell Wilson (want to put him higher but I can't) 11. Matt Stafford (still turns it over too much to be higher) 12. Cam Newton ( a lot left to prove, but great start to career) 13. Andrew Luck (a lot of talent, just hasn't quite put it all together) 14. Robert Griffin III (one of the best seasons from a rookie you'll ever see unhealthy) 15. Joe Flacco (one great great run lol) 16. Colin Kaepernick (real stud, but a lot of good QBs in the league, still a lot to prove) 17. Jay Cutler (highest I can put him, he ...
Did you guys know that Matt Flynn makes more money than Colin Kaepernick, Andrew Luck and Russell Wilson combined?
Know what's funny? The Niners are 7-4 and every saying Colin Kaepernick is regressing, yet the colts are 7-4 got blew out the last couple of weeks and in a weak division yet Andrew Luck is progressing! Smh
Some people last year really said Robert Griffin III and Colin Kaepernick were better than Andrew Luck, Cam Newton and Russell Wilson? Those people were wrong.
Did you know that Russell Wilson has been sacked more times, but has a better passer rating than Tom Brady, Andy Dalton, Alex Smith, Cam Newton, Carson Palmer, Andrew Luck, Eli Manning, Tony Romo, Colin Kaepernick, RG3, Jay Cutler and Matt Stafford? :)
Bucs recap from yesterday: 1. I am not like some fans. I don't get disappointed with every win just because it means we might get a lower draft pick or we might actually keep Schiano around. Anybody who has followed the draft as long as I have knows that it's way less about where you pick and way more about how good your scouting department is at making that pick have the best value possible. I want my team to win. So yesterday was a lot of fun to watch. The Bucs played a complete game in all phases and made big plays in all three, as well. 2. The offensive line has been a completely different unit with Jamon Meridith in the game. They bulldozed in the run game for the third week in a row, and kept Mike Glennon off his back for most of the game. 3. Speaking of Glennon, good luck convincing me that the Bucs should take a QB in next year's draft. QB rating of 87.7 (higher than Tom Brady, Andrew Luck, RG3, Eli Manning, Colin Kaepernick, Alex Smith), 11 TD, 4 INT, 62% completion percentage. And he's j ...
"Foles, who has only 136 passing attempts on the season - about half as many as guys like Russell Wilson (257), Aaron Rodgers (251), and Jay Cutler (265) - but has amassed 16 touchdowns, with 10 coming in the last two games. That's more than Rodgers (15), Andrew Luck (14), Tom Brady (13), Cam Newton (13), Colin Kaepernick (9), Joe Flacco (12), Eli Manning (11), and Robert Griffin III (12), just to name a few." Whatever your thoughts on him are, give the *** kid the rest of the season to win himself a job.
Andrew Luck has already beaten Russell Wilson, Colin Kaepernick, & now Peyton. He's beginning to separate himself from the young rat pack...
Which young QB would you build your franchise around? Colin Kaepernick, Andrew Luck, or Russell Wilson?
"I have Colin Kaepernick. I was offered Andrew Luck straight up. Do I make that trade? Help!" Don't give hodges kaepernick! Really!
Peyton Manning has 12 TD passes this season. That's as many as Andrew Luck, Colin Kaepernick, Joe Flacco & Carson Palmer …

Oh, and to back up what I was saying since last year, RG-oh-and-three. RG-overrated-and-three. Colin Kaepernick is 1-2 with a 72.5 QBR and Alex Smith is 3-0 with a 92.1 QBR. Andrew Luck playing well because he's not a gimmick.
"Brian Hoyer outscore the likes of Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Matt Ryan, Robert Griffin III, Colin Kaepernick, Andrew Luck, Michael Vick, Andy Dalton and Eli Manning. Heck, Jake Locker and Geno Smith did that, too."
So, since the biggest argument against Cam Newton being considered "one of the top young quarterbacks in the league" with this "anointed" group of RG3, Andrew Luck, Colin Kaepernick, and Russell Wilson has been that he doesn't win enough, can he take Kaepernick and RG3's spots now that they aren't winning?
Colin Kaepernick's first home loss at Candlestick Park brought to you by: Andrew Luck, Ahmad Bradshaw, and the Colts newest member Trent Richardson. *** thats got to hurt the pride of all those 49er fans out there...
Andrew Luck outperformed Colin Kaepernick, lifting the 27-7 over the Jim Nantz & Phil Simms recap the action here:
Niners lose at home for first time in Colin Kaepernick era September 22, 2013 San Francisco -- Andrew Luck faked out the defense, ran untouched into the end zone for a 6-yard touchdown and emphatically threw down the ball with a little extra oomph. Even he thought it might be a career-best spike. "It was nice to score," he said matter-of-factly of the moment. The ridiculousness of Week 1 is at an end. To be honest, we have no idea who are the contenders and who are the pretenders. If the season was over last week. Colin Kaepernick and Peyton Manning would be co-MVPs, Eagles would make the playoffs, Steelers are done, and the Jets would win 8 games. See? Well, the MVPs might not be outlandish. A bit rocky...went 10-6. Thanks, Bucs and Browns. Enough talk! Time for Week 2: Turner's RED ZONE Picks! 1-0 (Pats) Browns @ Ravens: Ah, Old vs New. but it shall be close thanks to Ray Horton's 3-4 Browns D BUT it's at Baltimore and they are angry. RAVENS. The *** Jaws ranked at behind Andrew Luck, Russell Wilson, and Colin Kaepernick! He musta bumped his head.
I don't know why people think that Robert Griffin III isn't better than Andrew Luck,Colin Kaepernick,or Russell Wilson. The Redskins last season beat the past 4 year superbowl champions the Saints,Packers,Giants, and the Ravens!!!
Fun Football Fact: Andrew Luck and Colin Kaepernick scored the same on the Wonderlic: 37/50.
I feel like Andrew Luck will be the next Peyton Manning/ Tom Brady of the upcoming decade. Like if you agree, comment who you think will be the next. -23hudini
Please tell me this is a joke "Which QB would you want for the next ten years: Andrew Luck or Colin Kaepernick?"
Andrew Luck, Colin Kaepernick or RGIII: You had to pick one to start a team. Which QB would you take?
Phillip Rivers as a "middle class" quarterback -- Ann By Tom Krasovic The NFL's collective bargaining agreement isn't a friend to Philip Rivers and other quarterbacks of his ilk. Teams that can win with a young quarterback, I wrote on April 1, will reap gigantic value under this CBA. Here's an excerpt: "Because the NFL labor pact reached in 2011 slashed the salaries that players can make in their first several seasons, teams that acquired worthy quarterbacks from the classes of 2011-12 are able to better reward other players. It's only one reason, but a compelling one, to be bullish on the Colts (Andrew Luck), Seahawks (Russell Wilson), 49ers (Colin Kaepernick), Dolphins (Ryan Tanehill), Redskins (Robert Griffin III) and Panthers (Cam Newton)." Rivers this year will consume 13.9 percent of San Diego's salary cap. While the number should dip in 2014, the lowered salary floor for incoming passers raises questions about how the industry will value the veterans with big salaries, especially in a "flat cap" e ...
When talking about RG3, I always hear the argument: "They have tape on him now. He can't be as successful next year." Yet, this argument is almost never made about Russell Wilson, Colin Kaepernick, and Andrew Luck. All 4 of these quarterbacks went to the playoffs. Why is it that RG3 will be figured out? - Hunter
Colin Kaepernick versus Andrew Luck. If you had to choose between these 2 stud QBs, who would you pick? The classic pocket passer in Luck who can make plays with his legs? Or would you choose the uber athletic Kaepernick who can run like the wind and make plays in the pocket with his rocket arm? Tough choice and Jim Harbaugh himself says so coaching both of them. Who would you choose though? -Gav
Best young QB: Russell Wilson, RGIII, Colin Kaepernick, or Andrew Luck?...wish I could put Ponder on this list
Matthew Stafford, RG3, Colin Kaepernick, Andrew Luck will all lead their teams to Super Bowls within the next 10 years
Favorites for Madden cover are Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Colin Kaepernick, and RG3. Followed by Primetime, Ray Lewis, AP, and Andrew Luck
Nice, nice. I think Colin Kaepernick, RG3, Russell Wilson, Cam Newton and Andrew Luck will be there one day, though.
"He was been working on his throwing fundamentals in San Diego with quarterback guru George Whitfield, whose recent clients includes Cam Newton, Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, Russell Wilson, Col...
My view of the youngest batch of QBs after season one starting. RGIII - his body won't hold up and career short lived. Andrew Luck - The real deal. Championships in his future. Russell Wilson - He will be solid as long as he has solid weapons. He won't be a put the team on your back kind of guy long-term. Colin Kaepernick (sp?) - Mike Vick 2.0. Lots of athleticism and promise, but more durable. Maybe. But he and the pistol O will continue to be more accurately defended as more tape is available to study. I don't believe he will be a flop per say, but as the run is locked up, he becomes an average passer in a gimmick O, that much like the short-lived wildcat, will be solved.
Ice Cube aint the only five percenter, he got company because I'm joining him with my vote of which quarterback would you want for the next ten years? Cam Newton is still my choice along with rest of the 5%'ers! I'm not sheepish ESPN fed brainwashed fan with 50% voting for Andrew Luck, or new flavor of the month literally with Colin Kaepernick, AP Offense Rookie of the Year in RG3, or Seattle Sensationalist Russell Wilson. People forget Cam Newton made Gene Chizik large! LOL!
50% of the nation wants Andrew Luck to be their QB for the next 10 years over RGIII, Colin Kaepernick, Cam Newton and Russell Wilson? lol no
Former Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum said on that he'd take Russell Wilson over Andrew Luck, RG3 and Colin Kaepernick? I laughed. Hard
This year Andrew Luck turns 24, Russell Wilson turns 25, and Colin Kaepernick turns 26. Today just turned 23.
“We beat the future in Andrew Luck. We beat the past in Peyton Manning. We beat the present in Tom Brady. Then we beat the best show on offense in the NFL in the 49ers in Colin Kaepernick. The toughest road in these playoffs, we did it. We did it together.” Suggs
Uhh, why is Colin Kaepernick and Andrew Luck options for this top 5 QB list, but no Russell Wilson.
RGIII won Rookie of the Year, not Russell Wilson, not Colin Kaepernick, not Andrew Luck, RGIII.
You know one thing though, Colin Kaepernick is better than RG3, Russell Wilson, Andrew Luck, Cam Newton, Sam Bradford, and many other QBs
"Ray Lewis is a murderer" You're all right. He murdered Andrew Luck, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Colin Kaepernick on his way to a ring :)
Just read an article on how Colin Kaepernick is the most dangerous QB in football. Have people forgot that QB's like RGIII, Russell Wilson, Tom Brady, Eli and Payton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Andrew Luck and *** even Cam Newton are in the league? Kaep is a good player, but before we crown this dude let's not forget that SF was a fumble away form the SB last season. Some of the QB's I mentioned took non-playoff teams to the playoffs and Wilson was 30 seconds away from the championship game.
In the playoffs this year, the Ravens D held Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck to passer ratings 17 points lower than their season averages. They held Tom Brady to a passer rating of 62.3, his worst all year and over 36 points lower than his season average. Colin Kaepernick hasn't beaten a quality defense all year and is about to face a Ravens D that's held three top-ten offenses to an average of 14.3 points over the last three weeks.
New Orleans -- There's no question that Andrew Luck became perhaps the most valued quarterback prospect of his generation with a great deal hard work and talent, but playing for Jim Harbaugh at Stanford added a lot to the picture. … Continue reading →
Greeny brought up a good question this morning: You're building an NFL franchise, which of the following QBs under the age of 25 would you build around? Andrew Luck, RG III, Russell Wilson, Cam Newton, Andy Dalton, or Colin Kaepernick?
Russell Wilson, RG3, Andrew Luck, and Colin Kaepernick only played one year so I won't give them that yet over Vick.
If the 49ers beat the Ravens in Super Bowl 47, fans in Baltimore have another reason to hate the team that left in the middle of the night nearly 29 years ago. QB Colin Kaepernick plays for the 49ers in part because Colts QB Andrew Luck recommended Kaepernick to his former coach at Stanford, Jim Harbaugh!
Pretty cool to hear that Andrew Luck. Colts/Stanford. Sent Jim Harbaugh. 49ers/Stanford to Reno to evaluate Colin Kaepernick. 49ers/Nevada.
Assuming all players are HEALTHY for the start of next season, rate from 1st (you want the most) to 5th (who you lest want) to be your fantasy quarterback. these are your options Cam Newton, Andrew Luck, RG3, Colin Kaepernick, or Russel Wilson Mine are 1. Newton 2. Luck 3. RG3 4. Kaepernick 5. Wilson Your order?-marc
Who do you take if you can choose between Cam Newton, Colin Kaepernick, Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, & Russell Wilson?
Interesting debate on NBC sports radio tonight. Of these 4 qb's which would you rather have right now. Russell Wilson, RG3, Colin kaepernick or Andrew Luck?
Where does everyone rank the following quarterbacks (out of 32): Joe Flacco, Andy Dalton, Russell Wilson, Matt Schuab, Andrew Luck, and Colin Kaepernick?
I know this is super nerdy but I wanted to do it. My Top 10 QB's of 2012. I am fully aware that most of you will disagree with me but that's cool. I'll still be your friend. 1. Peyton Manning - See's the field better than anybody. A coach/player 2.Tom Brady - I give Peyton the edge only because he is the OC an QB. 3. Aaron Rogers - Better pure passer than anybody but still makes mistakes. 4. Drew Brees - So so good but slowing down a tiny bit. 5. Russel Wilson - Brains/arm/feet and only a rookie! 6. Matt Ryan - Really talented but I want to see him do better under pressure. 7. Andrew Luck - No QB was asked to do more than this guy all year. 8. Robert Griffin III - Best hybrid QB but needs to know when to slow down. 9. Colin Kaepernick - He is gonna be really good. Arm still a little shaky. 10. Tony Romo - I don't care what anybody says. He covers up for all the crap the cowboys get wrong. If the cowboys had a lesser QB they would absolutely terrible. 1-4 you could put into any order really. I thin ...
If you could pick one QB to start your team who would it be? Andrew Luck, Colin Kaepernick, Russell Wilson, RG3.or someone else?
Okay, this was brought up last night at work. Why? I don't know. I was asked if I could name 10 QBs that I think are better than Jay Cutler. I came up with 12. Here is how is worked out: Better than Cutler: Aaron Rodgers, Matthew Stafford, Ben Roethlisberger, Robert Griffin III, Tom Brady, Cam Newton, Matt Ryan, Drew Bress, Josh Freeman, Andrew Luck, Matt Schaub, and Peyton Manning. About the same: Joe Flacco, Andy Dalton, Eli Manning, Tony Romo, Colin Kaepernick, Russell Wilson, Philip Rivers Cutler is better than: Christian Ponder, Brandon Weeden, Nick Foles, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Ryan Tannehill, Mark Sanchez, Jake Locker, Chad Henne, Kevin Kolb, Matt Cassel, Carson Palmer and Sam Bradford Again, this is just my opinion. Let the debate begin.
So with all the hype of the rookie quarterbacks,RG3,Russell Wilson,Andrew Luck,There's only 1 still standing...Colin Kaepernick.
NFL Divisional Playoff Picks. Got em all right on wild card weekend (trust me, I did lol), let's see if I do the same this upcoming week... Broncos over Ravens 31-17 (Awesome career for Ray Lewis ends in Denver. Baltimore did well to beat Indy in Round 1, but going on the road to face Peyton Manning rather than facing a rookie (albeit an extremely talented one in Andrew Luck) at home is a whole different animal. Cheatriots over Texans 30-20 (I'll say Houston gives a better game here than they did in the regular season, but I don't see them having enough offense to win this one) Packers over 49ers 23-20 (The 49ers did win in Green Bay on opening week, but that was four months ago and also with Alex Smith at QB. This time Colin Kaepernick is the QB for San Fran. I'm taking the Pack) Seahawks over Falcons 27-24 (Losing Chris Clemons is a huge blow for the Seattle defense, but fortunately they still have 'Beast Mode' in Marshawn Lynch to win the time of possession battle, a rookie QB mature beyond his years i ...
I'm tired of this read option in the nfl. All that means is you don't have a quarterback that can throw the ball. It also means you have to rely off or play fakes and college plays to win. Look what happen to RG3. He got dominated, Joe Webb same thing. Well see with Kaepernick. (we all know it's the Niner D is what is the only thing legit). Anyway ale your pick. Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Andrew Luck( who had 5 rushing touchdowns) Eli Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Matt Ryan or RGIII, Cam Newton, Colin Kaepernick, soon to be Geno Smith, Alex Smith?
Wouldn't it be something if we ended up with 2 rookie QB's in the superbowl? (Russell Wilson (Seahawks) or Robert Griffin III (Redskins) vs. Andrew Luck (Colts)... Did you know that 6 of the 12 playoff teams have starting QB's with less than 2 years NFL experience? (Luck, RG III, and Wilson are all rookies) (Colin Kaepernick (49ers), Christian Ponder (Vikings), and Andy Dalton (Bengals) are 2nd year starters) 2012 is the year of the Quarterback!!!
6 of the 12 teams that made the NFL playoff's have QB's with 2 years or less experience: Robert Griffin lll, Redskins; Andrew Luck, Colts; Christian Ponder, Vikings; Russell Wilson, Seahawks; Andy Dalton, Bengals; and Colin Kaepernick, 49ers. Unprecedented and exciting news for the future of professional football.
Half of the NFL playoff teams have rookie or 2nd year QBs: RG3, Andrew Luck, Russ Wilson, Colin Kaepernick, Andy Dalton, & Christian Ponder
You know what's crazy these quarterbacks are in the playoffs (the number is the number of playoff games they have played) Robert Griffin 0 Russell Wilson 0 Andrew Luck 0 Colin Kaepernick 0 Christian Ponder 0 Matt Schaub 0 Andy Dalton 1 These quarterbacks aren't in Eli Manning 2 Super Bowl Titles Ben Roethlisberger 2 Super Bowl Titles Drew Brees 1 Super Bowl Title
There has been a huge youth movement in the past couple NFL seasons. Here are the current starting QBs with 3 seasons or less in NFL experience (not including this season), thier age will be in parenthesis Robert Griffin III (22) Russell Wilson (24) Andy Dalton (25) Cam Newton (23) Josh Freeman (24) currently in his 4th season Sam Bradford (25) Matt Stafford (24) currently in his 4th season Christian Ponder (24) Nick Foles (23) Blaine Gabbert (23) he was starting until getting hurt Jake Locker (24) Ryan Tannehill (24) Andrew Luck (23) Brandon Weeden (29) Mark Sanchez (26) currently in his 4th season, was starter until getting benched the previous week Greg McElroy (24) new Jets starter Colin Kaepernick (25) Ryan Lindley (23)
Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson beat Tom Brady head to head, Andrew Luck did not. Go ahead and make excuses Greeny.
The NFL season is nearing the finish line and teams without decent quarterbacks are sputtering in the rear, broken down, unable to compete. The 49ers, though they will need an inexperienced backup for Colin Kaepernick, will likely allow Smith to find a place he can start rather than keep an unhappy...
I need your help. I had RG III. Who should I start? Colin Kaepernick or Andrew Luck?
Desperation RGIII out is it safe to play Andrew Luck or should I pick up a Russell Wilson or Colin Kaepernick
Which NFL quarterback's leadership potential could having him & his team hoisting the Lambardi trophy at the conclusion of SuperBowl XLVII Sunday, February 3, 2013, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans: Matt Ryan, Alex Smith or Colin Kaepernick, Jay Cutler, Eli Manning, Aaron Rogers, Josh Freeman, Russell Wilson or Matt Flynn, Tom Brady, Joe Flacco, Ben Roethlisberger, Andy Dalton, Matt Schaub, Andrew Luck or Payton Manning.
to start Colin Kaepernick, Matt Schaub, or Andrew Luck? decisions, decisions.
Cam Newton, Andy Dalton, Jake Locker, Christian Ponder, Robert Griffin III, Andrew Luck, Russell Wilson, Brandon Weedon, Ryan Tannehill, and now Colin Kaepernick--10 QB's in their 1st or 2nd year that all look promising--at least more than the Jags sophomore, Blaine Gabbert. At least Nick Foles looked terrible for the Eagles, or it would be 11.
