Aaron Rodgers knows what it takes to be an NFL quarterback, and he believes Colin Kaepernick has it.

Colin Kaepernick went into Lambeau and beat Aaron Rodgers in a playoff game not too long ago. What happened to that guy?

I want to smoke with Aaron Rodgers and Colin Kaepernick after they take and pass their first initial Drug Test of the season in August.
Aaron Rodgers gotta beat Russel Wilson or Colin Kaepernick in the playoffs first. 😴😴😴
I never root for injuries unless it's to Sergio Aguero, Yaya Toure, Gerrard, Sturridge, Aaron Rodgers or Colin Kaepernick
Brian Hoyer's 97.5 QB rating is higher than Aaron Rodgers, Ben Roethlisberger, Colin Kaepernick and Andy Dalton.
1 Seahawks 1-0 -- Last Week: 1 The dreaded Super Bowl hangover skipped Seattle. That defense looked as fearsome as ever, holding Aaron Rodgers to 189 passing yards and a 47.9 QBR after unveiling the team's Super Bowl banner. 2 Broncos 1-0 -- Last Week: 2 The countdown's on. Peyton Manning has 494 touchdown passes, 14 behind Brett Favre for most all time. Manning has 21 touchdowns and one interception in prime-time games with Denver. 3 49ers 1-0 1 Last Week: 4 Vernon Davis catches the touchdowns, but Anquan Boldin keeps getting it done, too. Colin Kaepernick was 8-for-8 for 99 yards and six first downs targeting Boldin on Sunday. 4 Eagles 1-0 3 Last Week: 7 Nick Foles had four turnovers last year and three in Sunday's first half. Then again, 15-of-21 for 183 yards and two touchdowns after halftime forgives a lot. 5 Bengals 1-0 4 Last Week: 9 A.J. Green's 77-yard touchdown reception saved the day for the Bengals. Green had six catches for 131 yards and a touchdown Sunday -- just another day for Cincinnati's ...

What will Andrew Luck, Russell Wilson, Aaron Rodgers, and Colin Kaepernick do to this secondary if Chad Henne is picking then apart?
You got Aaron Rodgers on your fantasy team? You can start Colin Kaepernick week 1 against Dallas.. instead of Rodgers vs SEA
Since Colin Kaepernick first started in Week 11 of 2012, he is the third-highest rated QB in Total QBR behind Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers.
Well, looks like Colin Kaepernick has just officially joined the ranks of Joe Flacco & Matt Ryan as the most overpaid/overrated QBs in the NFL. 6 years and $110 million ($61 million guaranteed) for a player who is yet to win a ring! I am not arguing that Kaepernick is not a quality QB, I simply don't think that he deserves "Aaron Rodgers money." I'm worried as to what financial precedent this will establish for the NFL QB market. When will the bubble burst?
Since making his 1st start, Colin Kaepernick ranks 4th in wins (17) and 3rd in Total QBR, trailing only Peyton Manning a…
Colin Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers struck a deal Wednesday on a six-year contract extension, which sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter is worth more than $110 million -- including a record $61 million guaranteed. More from espn.com Colin Kaepernick got what he deserved. He has proven he is a top quarterback, and in the NFL top quarterbacks get paid, writes Bill Williamson. Story Following the new pact for Colin Kaepernick, Mike Sando ranks the other young QBs most deserving of a new contract. Story Insider Williamson: Now the 49ers must secure Harbaugh Stats & Info: Kaepernick's payday The deal ties Kaepernick to the 49ers through the 2020 season and puts him among the 10 highest-paid quarterbacks in the NFL. Colin Kaepernick ain't worth no 126 million. That's money you give to Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady or Peyton Manning.
Leave it to a Raiders fan (Terrence Banks) to say Colin Kaepernick doesn't deserve a $61 million guaranteed because he didn't get to the Super Bowl last year. Colin Kaepernick & Russell Wilson were the 2 lowest paid starting quarterback in the NFL last year an Kaep been to two straight NFC Championship Games, a Super Bowl appearance, 21-8 as a starter, most rushing yards in a playoff game, has beaten Matt Ryan, Aaron Rodgers (Twice) in the playoffs (both $100 million QBs) and is under the age of 26. If you ask me this new contract is a year late. Next some cowboys fan gonna tell me Romo better than Kaepernick.
Congratulations to San Francisco! Signed a $20 Million Quarterback today!!! Wait .WHAT! Colin Kaepernick? Is it Christmas? Is this a dream? I have to put him in the same sentence as Peyton Manning, Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers as the top QB contracts EVER???
Colin Kaepernick's per-year average -- $21 million -- puts him just behind Aaron Rodgers' $22 million and shows how much the team believes in the 26-year-old quarterback.
Colin Kaepernick signed a deal for $20 million per. If that's not crazy enough, he got 61 million dollars guaranteed! The most in NFL history! Good for him! But *** that's a lot of loot for somebody not named Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, or Drew Brees
How can the 49ers pay Colin Kaepernick more money than Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, and Peyton Manning when he hasn't even made a Pro Bowl in his career yet? 6 years, $126 million, $61 million guaranteed? Crazy.
I saw OPs confession about Manziel and how he is going nowhere, and I absolutely loved how everyone jumped to defend Manziel. Let's take a look at the Cleveland Browns. Can one of you (without doing a google search) name a player from the Browns (not including Colt Mccoy or Vince Young)? People from all over the nation know the names of Troy Aikman, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Colin Kaepernick, but can anyone think of anyone from the Browns? How about this, how many Superbowls have the Browns Won? None Okay, so that might be a little unfair, how about how recently have the Browns been to the playoffs? They qualified in '07 as the wildcard and again in '02 as the wildcard and nothing more. So 7 years since they QUALIFIED. Colt Mccoy someone with great potential went to the Browns and now he's some 2nd or 3rd string quarterback from some team I'm too lazy to google search. I hate to break it to you all, but Manziel is going nowhere professionally. The Browns are not a good team and not even dear old "Johnny F ...
How much is Tom Condon seeking for his client, Alex Smith? He has already landed Peyton Manning $18 Million a year, Drew Brees $18.4 Million a year, Tony Romo $17 Million a year, Matt Ryan $16.5 Million a year and will be negotiating hefty deals for Eli Manning and Matt Stafford, soon. Not long after Aaron Rodgers, Joe Flacco and Jay Cutler all with big deals and with other QBs working behind the scenes on extensions(Colin Kaepernick & Ben Roethlisberger) and others who will be needing dealt with over the next 12 months(Russell Wilson, Cam Newton, Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III) just how much can we pay Smith? Any extension, as discussed in depth; will already cost us the services of Tamba Hali. A huge extension, more then likely chops Brandon Flowers or Dwayne Bowe off, also. SO, serious questions. Are we at a place where we can even make this deal? Will Alex stick with his QB brethren and increase the average pay for QBs or will he cut us a deal?
when was the last time Aaron Rodgers beat Colin kaepernick
From ESPN, Grantland, the 5 Laws of Free Agency, "5. None of it REALLY matters. For as much attention as Free Agency gets, always remember that no matter how well any team does in the market, your favorite team’s still probably losing to the teams with Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Andrew Luck, Aaron Rodgers, Colin Kaepernick, and possibly Matt Stafford if the Lions finally surround him with enough talent to mitigate his mediocrity. This should be an addendum to every single one of the 10,000 free-agency grading columns on the Internet."
Every NFL team that made the playoffs this year has a great quarterback. Peyton Manning is a great quarterback, Oliver Luck, Cam Newton, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Colin Kaepernick, and all of the rest of them are all great quarterbacks. But the team that won the Super Bowl won because they had the best DEFENSE in the NFL. Therefore, I conclude that, while there are great (or potentially great) quarterbacks available in this years draft, if the Houston Texans do not get Jadeveon Clowney in this years draft and pair him up wit J. J. Watt, that will be the biggest mistake the have made since David Carr and Dom Capers!
I grade how good are these QB's by "tiers" or "categories". For Example, I give a QB a 6 if they are elite, 5 if they are very good, 4 if they are good, 3 if they are average, 2 if they are below average, and 1 if they are bad. Here is my opinion on top QB's. What is your ratings based on these QB's? 6- Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees 5- Ben Rothliesberger, Andrew Luck, Philip Rivers, Nick Foles, Matt Ryan 4- Ryan Tannehill, Alex Smith, Tony Romo, Jay Cutler, Cam Newton, Russell Wilson 3- Andy Dalton, Joe Flacco, Eli Manning, Robert Griffin III, Matthew Stafford, Mike Glennon, Colin Kaepernick, Carson Palmer 2- Bills QB's (Manuel, Lewis), Titans QB's (Locker, Fitzpatrick), Rams QB's (Bradford, Clemens), Raiders QB's (Pryor, McGloin) 1- Geno Smith, Chad Henne, Browns QB's (Weeden, Campbell), Vikings QB's (Ponder, Cassel, Freeman) I would put Kirk Cousins, Matt Flynn, Josh Mccown, Michael Vick, and Brian Hoyer somewhere in this system but they have not played enough games to earn a spec ...
Lol at Aaron Rodgers, Arian Foster, Drew Brees, Jimmy Graham, Griff Whalen, Vernon Davis, and Colin Kaepernick on the show.
Dude Jimmy Fallon had Vernon Davis, Jimmy Graham, Arian Foster, Drew Brees, Colin Kaepernick, Griff Whalen, and Aaron Rodgers on his show
I had a dream last night that the Buffalo Bills upset the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship Game and the Washington Redskins upset the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC for a rematch in Super Bowl XLVIII. I was somehow a backup player on the Bills along side Adam Podlesh and we had our own personal sideline booth. Throughout the dream I had to dress up as Colin Kaepernick and allow some of the players wife and children to sit in this sideline booth with us. When my family got to the game with Peter Ridley Doggett Jr, I escorted them through a long line to get country sweet wings and sandwiches for them. I roamed the stadium and saw countless friends I would say hello to, I got tazed at one point for punching Aaron Rodgers, and the Coors Light Love train came through the stadium twice avalanching the fans and players in snow and nice, one side at a time. At one point I had to run 2 miles down the street to get Adams lunch (this is when I was suited up as Kaepernick) It was an awesome dream, felt so r ...

49ERS 23 Green Bay 20 Is anyone not looking forward to this game? For that matter, is anyone more excited than Frank Gore? If you've watched the Packers' defense this season, you know it can be run on ... a lot. Green Bay allowed 125 rushing yards per game at 4.63 yards per carry. There is no reason to think Jim Harbaugh and his Niners staff won't use their full stable of backs to pound the Packers' front seven into submission. It's too bad Bruce Miller is hurt. It's not too bad that Colin Kaepernick is playing. So maybe Kaepernick won't put up 181 rushing yards like he did against the Packers in the playoffs last season; he can still certainly run for 50. Utilizing Kaepernick on zone-read plays and option runs will make Green Bay play 11-on-11, not 11-on-10, as the Pack would be able to do if it were Shaun Hill, Jim Druckenmiller or Steve Bono lining up under center for San Francisco. Not to mention (but we'll mention) the fact that limiting Aaron Rodgers' possessions always makes sense, especially whe . ...
HERE YA GO: Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Eli Manning, Robert Griffin III, Jay Cutler, Joe Flacco, Cam Newton and Colin Kaepernick have all completed more passes than Foles has attempted, yet Foles has thrown for more touchdowns than each of those quarterbacks.-BIG MIKE-
Colin Kaepernick was the top selling NFL jersey of 2013 beating out Peyton Manning, adrien Peterson, Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers
Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick are both so overrated. They are products of the great players around them. Kaepernick is borderline awful. WIlson is average at best and is made out to be an MVP because his defense plays lights out and he only has to make 2 or 3 school yard plays from his feet to win a game. If you put a Tom Brady or an Aaron Rodgers on either the seahawks or the 49ers they would never lose. ever.
Welp Jaws does his QB rankings pre season and I will do mine 3/4 of the way through. 1. Peyton Manning (obvious) 2. Tom Brady (Timmy Terrific) 3. Aaron Rodgers (tough call over Breesy but gotta do it) 4. Drew Brees (major separation from these 4 on down) 5. Tony Romo (gut check time) 6. Ben Roethlisberger (the rings won't carry you too much further) 7. Matt Ryan (tough year, but body of work) 8. Eli Manning (rings is all you can say) 9. Phillip Rivers (big bounce back year, last two an anomaly) 10. Russell Wilson (want to put him higher but I can't) 11. Matt Stafford (still turns it over too much to be higher) 12. Cam Newton ( a lot left to prove, but great start to career) 13. Andrew Luck (a lot of talent, just hasn't quite put it all together) 14. Robert Griffin III (one of the best seasons from a rookie you'll ever see unhealthy) 15. Joe Flacco (one great great run lol) 16. Colin Kaepernick (real stud, but a lot of good QBs in the league, still a lot to prove) 17. Jay Cutler (highest I can put him, he ...
"Colin Kaepernick kinda looks like Aaron Rodgers". okay Jimmy
After witnessing Robert Griffin III's pathetic game-ending interception, I have come to the conclusion that there are some NFL players who spend more time in TV commercials than concentrating on their game. The following exhibits demonstrate: 1) Griffin (Subway and everything else, *** ; 2) Clay Matthews (razors and chunky soups, *** ; 3) Aaron Rodgers (State Farm, *** since he started ads); 4) Peyton Manning in his final two years in Indianapolis (any ad, sucked then) compared to now (no ad, awesome); 5) Colin Kaepernick (the new ad fad, now *** ; and finally, 6) Drew Brees (nothing, awesome). I rest my case.
"Foles, who has only 136 passing attempts on the season - about half as many as guys like Russell Wilson (257), Aaron Rodgers (251), and Jay Cutler (265) - but has amassed 16 touchdowns, with 10 coming in the last two games. That's more than Rodgers (15), Andrew Luck (14), Tom Brady (13), Cam Newton (13), Colin Kaepernick (9), Joe Flacco (12), Eli Manning (11), and Robert Griffin III (12), just to name a few." Whatever your thoughts on him are, give the *** kid the rest of the season to win himself a job.
Terrelle Pryor at half already has more Fantasy points (17) than Aaron Rodgers, Cam Newton, Colin Kaepernick, Tom Brady
The highest qb rating in the NFL for 2012 & 2013 in the NFL belongs to Peyton Manning. Number 2 - not Aaron Rodgers, not Tom Brady, not Colin Kaepernick . . . it is Russell Wilson. Go Hawks !
"Brian Hoyer outscore the likes of Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Matt Ryan, Robert Griffin III, Colin Kaepernick, Andrew Luck, Michael Vick, Andy Dalton and Eli Manning. Heck, Jake Locker and Geno Smith did that, too."
Elite. The word is defined by Merriam Webster’s dictionaryas meaning “The choice part” or “The best of a class”. So why is it that whensports are involved there is so much conversation that the word starts to loseit’s meaning? There are several factors that can influence arguments includingteam and player biases and lack of knowledge on the subject among other things. With all that said statistics don’t lie and is the case with Eli Manning, theytell the whole truth. You can spell Elite without Eli. First let’s take a pool of players whom most consider elite. We’ll make the pool 10 players, all of whom are still in the league. With those10 players we will provide 3 widely considered elite quarterbacks in Tom Brady,Peyton Manning, and Aaron Rodgers. The next set we’ll consider 3 QB’s thatthere is argument about whether they are or are not elite. They are Drew Brees,Ben Roethlisberger, and Matt Ryan. And the last tier of 3 we’ll throw in someunproven talent in RG3, Colin Kaepernick, and ...
My favorite QB is definitely Aaron Rodgers. Then it would go Mike Vick, then Colin Kaepernick, Drew Brees, and Big Ben. my top 5 is weird.
Outside of Aaron Rodgers, I can't think of any better quarterbacks than Colin Kaepernick n Russell Wilson. Pryor n Newton should take notes
In a high tension game, San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick threw for a whopping 412 yards including three touchdown passes in his 34-28 win over the Green Bay Packers.
OK Packernation. GPN wants your stat predictions on Aaron Rodgers and Colin Kaepernick in tonight's game. Yards...TD's...INT's

If I had to list the top QBs in the NFL... 1. Aaron Rodgers (by a landslide) 2. Drew Brees 3. Peyton Manning 4. Tom Brady (I know, I hate it too) 5. Ben Roethlisberger 6. Eli Manning 7. Matt Ryan 8. Joe Flacco 9. Colin Kaepernick (RG3 would be here if not for the knee injury) 10. Andrew Luck Feel free to debate. I love a good debate.
Playing as the 49ers WR Jerry Rice, udontknowme24 defeated the Packers 35-28 on All-Pro in Connected Careers. The leading passer was Colin Kaepernick with 366 yards, and the leading rusher was Aaron Rodgers with 1 yards.

Colin Kaepernick is a wanna be Aaron Rodgers
Fun Fact: Tom Brady, Jacob Tyler, Colin Kaepernick, Max Martin, Aaron Rodgers, Tim Tebow, and Cam Newton are the only active QB to get 1 INT
I knew Skip Bayless was an *** for his hate on LeBron but today for hating on Aaron Rodgers n saying he is in the same sentence as Tim Tebow n Rodgers is no better then Tebow cuz of 1 playoff win the last 2 years! Complete stupidity Skip!
NFL Fantasy Football: Alex Smith AND Colin Kaepernick for Aaron Rodgers AND player to be declared later, anyone? :p
2012 QBR winners - in order: - Peyton Manning - Tom Brady - Colin Kaepernick - Matt Ryan - Aaron Rodgers - Robert Griffin III - Alex Smith 2 of the top 7 QB's in the whole NFL played on the same team. Crazy.
Merril Hodge said that Joe Flacco is better then Colin Kaepernick, Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers!! .. Delusional!
So the debate goes on regarding whether or not Joe Flacco is an "elite" QB. Well, here's a list of QBs I would take ahead of him (in no particular order). RG3, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Ben Roethlisberger, Matt Ryan, Matthew Stafford, Colin Kaepernick, Andrew Luck, and Russell Wilson. So I have him as the 13th best QB in the league at best. If that makes him elite, then yes, he's elite.
Joe Flacco getting a 20 Million bonus? Being Elite? Welcome to being the overrated Quarterback in the NFL. Colin Kaepernick,Russel Wilson, Griffin III, The Manning Brothers, Tom Brady, Drew Brees and even Aaron Rodgers are better than you!!!
Since 2000, QB's to make the Super Bowl. Kurt Warner, Steve McNair, Trent Dilfer, Kerry Collins, Tom Brady, Brad Johnson, Rich Gannon, Jake Delhommme, Donovan McNabb, Ben Roethlisberger, Matt Hasselbeck, Peyton Manning, Rex Grossman, Eli Manning, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Colin Kaepernick, Joe Flacco. If you were to rank these QBs where would they stack up against one another? I didn't put repeats in there but most of you should know who's been to multiple bowls. - Vishal
A note to Colin Kaepernick: even when the Packers were down three touchdowns, Aaron Rodgers didn't cry on the sidelines like a little bi*ch. Just sayin'...
Just read an article on how Colin Kaepernick is the most dangerous QB in football. Have people forgot that QB's like RGIII, Russell Wilson, Tom Brady, Eli and Payton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Andrew Luck and *** even Cam Newton are in the league? Kaep is a good player, but before we crown this dude let's not forget that SF was a fumble away form the SB last season. Some of the QB's I mentioned took non-playoff teams to the playoffs and Wilson was 30 seconds away from the Championship Game.
Colin Kaepernick did the passing and running, and Aaron Rodgers just couldn't keep up. Kaepernick outplayed the reigning NFL MVP (Most Valued Player) and former Super Bowl champion in one sensational, record-setting playoff debut and led the San Francisco 49ers right back to the NFC (National Football Conference) Championship Game with a 45-31 win over the Green Bay Packers in an NFC divisional game. Next up for the Niners: a game on Jan. 20 for a spot in the NFL Super Bowl, against the winner of Sunday's game between the Seattle Seahawks and Falcons at Atlanta. In the first AFC (American Football Conference) divisional game the record will show Justin Tucker kicked a 47-yard field goal 1:42 into the second overtime to give the Baltimore Ravens a 38-35 victory over Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. The highlight? That would be the Ravens quarterback, Joe Flacco's game-tying touchdown to Jacoby Jones on third-and-3 from the 30 with 31 seconds left in regulation and no timeouts. This game, the longest ...
So Colin Kaepernick grew up a Brett Favre fan and Aaron Rodgers is quite a vocal Alex Smith fan. If that doesn't beat all...
I would trade Revis for Aaron Rodgers or Colin Kaepernick. Short of that, keep him and figure it out.
So, when is the last time anyone can recall a superbowl with two quarterbacks of this caliber? I'm not saying Joe Flacco and Colin kaepernick are bum's they are pretty good obviously they got their team to the superbowl. But they aren't Tom Brady and Peyton Manning or Aaron Rodgers and Eli Manning. They are both just above average type qb's. When is the last time that happened?
Taking a course in critical thinking is showing me how many prejudices I have. For example, I think Manti Te'o was in on the scam about his girlfriend. I also dislike Colin Kaepernick for unknown reasons, whereas I like Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers for equally unknown reasons. And I love to watch football, even though it is clear that 20 years of being hit in the head can lead to brain damage, in Junior Seau and others. Like Ali. Ah well, it is hard to think critically. More fun to be prejudiced.
Colin Kaepernick among most athletic Super Bowl quarterbacks By Gil Brandt Published: January 23, 2013 at 5:39 AM PST Modified: January 23, 2013 at 11:42 AM PST When Colin Kaepernick leads the San Francisco 49ers into battle in Super Bowl XLVII , he'll do so as one of the most athletic quarterbacks to ever have played in the title game. That got me thinking about Super Bowl history and the other signal-callers to grace the NFL's biggest stage, and I decided to list the five most athletic, in my opinion. I want to emphasize that this comparison has nothing to do with statistical achievements or wins or anything like that. I'm simply considering the athletic ability and skill -- and not the performance history -- of quarterbacks who have made it to the Super Bowl . Moreover, the top five I came up with is, obviously, subjective. Many very athletic quarterbacks have played in the Super Bowl over the years, and a good argument could be made that, say, Aaron Rodgers or Ken Anderson or Donovan McNabb belongs on ...
What do Tom Brady, Colin Kaepernick, Aaron Rodgers, Jay Cutler and Tony Romo have in common... yeah.. Russel Wilson beat em.
Colin Kaepernick has beaten Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers and Matt Ryan in first nine starts. Huge fan of this kid, in both reality and fantasy.
I know I didn't feel this way when it was Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers but but I'm not a fan of young QBs that haven't "earned their stripes" going to the Super Bowl. I know 49er fans will strongly disagree and I get that. But, I was pulling for Matt Ryan over Colin Kaepernick. That and the attitude.
A Running QB has Just took his team to the Super Bowl!! Now let's see if 49ers can actually win it all. The 49ers had to get past Aaron Rodgers and Matt Ryan to get to the Super Bowl. I'm very happy for Jim Harbaugh/Colin Kaepernick! Good Call, Jim. -Moses
Chicago Sun-Times sports columnist Rick Morrissey's article on the Chicago Bears new coach wrote "The first thing he needs to do is stop treating Cutler as though he's something special. He isn't. If Gabe Carimi could protect Cutler the way Lovie Smith did, the Bears wouldn't have offensive-line problems. Cutler is a quarterback who should feel lucky he has a chance to prove more than what he has proved so far in Chicago. If they watched the playoffs last weekend, they have to know Cutler isn't in the same league as Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, Peyton Manning, Matt Ryan, Colin Kaepernick or even Joe Flacco. The Bears have invested a lot of money in Cutler, and I'm sure they're thinking that, at this point, they can't find anyone better. But he hasn't improved as a quarterback here. I'm worried that in hiring Trestman, Emery is giving in to the idea that the coach has to have a special relationship with Cutler; i.e., that he has to be sensitive to every one of Cutler's mood swings. That's the ...
Aaron Rodgers working on his standup routine. Tom Brady, Colin Kaepernick preparing for playoff games.
Here is what FOX Sports sent me via e-mail. They sure like their golden child! Dan - Happy New Year to you and your family. It has come to my attention that you have a petition with 600 signatures from Packers fans asking that Troy be removed from calling their games. While I certainly respect yours and everyone else's opinion on that petition, I am letting you know today that Troy will continue to call the biggest games we broadcast each year involving the Packers. The reason he will continue is that we feel he is the best NFL analyst in television mainly because he is objective about every team he covers, including the Packers. In fact, Troy has said on air this season that Mike McCarthy is the best coach and play caller in the NFL and that Aaron Rodgers is not only the best QB in the NFL but he deserved as many MVP votes as Peyton Manning or Adrian Peterson. Furthermore, I was in the booth with Joe and Troy on Saturday night in San Francisco. Troy began immediately criticizing Colin Kaepernick for his ...
We break down the Packers' loss against Colin Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers, and where Aaron Rodgers, Donald Driver & Co. go from here. ( 1:00 to 27:35 minute mark)
Okay, this was brought up last night at work. Why? I don't know. I was asked if I could name 10 QBs that I think are better than Jay Cutler. I came up with 12. Here is how is worked out: Better than Cutler: Aaron Rodgers, Matthew Stafford, Ben Roethlisberger, Robert Griffin III, Tom Brady, Cam Newton, Matt Ryan, Drew Bress, Josh Freeman, Andrew Luck, Matt Schaub, and Peyton Manning. About the same: Joe Flacco, Andy Dalton, Eli Manning, Tony Romo, Colin Kaepernick, Russell Wilson, Philip Rivers Cutler is better than: Christian Ponder, Brandon Weeden, Nick Foles, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Ryan Tannehill, Mark Sanchez, Jake Locker, Chad Henne, Kevin Kolb, Matt Cassel, Carson Palmer and Sam Bradford Again, this is just my opinion. Let the debate begin.
Records AR has broke in the NFL, plus a superbowl ring is all Aaron Rodgers. Last night, Colin Kaepernick out ran Packers.
Ray Lewis gets to play another game, spoiling an AFC Finals featuring two of the best QBs of this generation. Tom Brady showed the Texans how to win and close in the Playoffs. Matt Ryan finally wins a Playoff game, albeit a close one against the Seahawks. Niners ride second-year QB Colin Kaepernick to a win over Aaron Rodgers' Packers. Now it'll be another clash of icons as Brady looks to get past the inspired play of Baltimore, and on the other side, it'll be a clash of the new generation, with Keapernick and Ryan's team squaring off for the right to play in the Superbowl. NFL Conference Finals coming up! *** that these will be shown next Monday :/
Colin Kaepernick was frankly impressive 4 the 49ers against the Packers. I did not think that he would outplay Aaron Rodgers. He proved me wrong and 49ers Coach Jim Harbaugh really looks like a genius in going with Kaepernick over Alix Smith.
The Minnesota Vikings passed on Aaron Rodgers for Troy Williamson and Erasmus James, and Colin Kaepernick for Christian Ponder. Oops.
NFC Divisional round of the NFL playoffs... the historic Green Bay Packers and the proud San Francisco 49'ers... Hard hitting, high flying... Aaron Rodgers vs. Colin Kaepernick... or as I like to call it... "No, our quarterback's the bigger *** " "No, OUR quarterback is the bigger *** "
So the last rookie QB standing is the one who was drafted in the third round, with the 75th pick overall. Say what? I was laughed out the barber shop preseason when I said Russell Wilson would have the last laugh. And look at the postseason company he is keeping: The future Hall of Fame trio of Manning, the Patriots’ Tom Brady and Packers’ Aaron Rodgers; the Ravens’ Joe Flacco and Falcons’ Matt Ryan, first-round picks in 2008; as well as the Texans’ Matt Schaub and 49ers’ Colin Kaepernick, who entered the league as third- and second-round picks in 2004 and 2011. It's safe to say, NO ONE IS LAUGHING NOW!! Well.maybe I am just a little bit, LOL!
Here is a summary for the San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers game this Saturday. The Pack is back on Saturday night but this time they won’t is 3-0 SU and ATS in the postseason versus .700 or greater foes and have the luxury of Lambeau Field, or Joe Webb for that matter. That’s not to say that they can’t walk out of Candlestick Park with a win – even though they fall into that same ugly 3-28 SU angle that may ground the Ravens. Sure, the Niners fit the same bill that benefited Green Bay last week, namely home teams in their opening playoff game after being bounced as a favorite the previous season (these teams are now 34-19 ATS). And, yes, Jim Harbaugh is 10-1 SU and 9-2 ATS in his NFL coaching career versus .667 or greater opposition, including 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS this season. However, do you really expect Colin Kaepernick to be able to go toe-to-toe in a quarterback battle with Aaron Rodgers? We don’t, not when Rodgers 11-5 ATS in his career as a dog, including 7-1 ATS when taking 2.5 or ...
I hope my boy Ste'Vaughn realizes that Colin Kaepernick isn't elite and that Aaron Rodgers is gonna walk into SF on Saturday and make his team look horrible. Go Pack Go.
I'm going to give you two options in the NFC for each game in which each team will win, and you guys will choose which one you think will happen. Ok? Ok. Packers at 49ers: 49ers win: The stingy Niners defense gives Rodgers fits and sacks him a lot. Colin Kaepernick plays solid football rushing and passing picking up first downs, playing Alex Smith-esque football (except better) until a late big play ices the win for the Niners- SF- 20, GB-10 Packers win: The Packers force at least 3 Kaepernick turnovers, followed by an entire offseason of people questioning the Kaepernick decision, while Aaron Rodgers dominates on offense- GB- 31, SF-17 Falcons vs. Seahawks: Falcons W: Matt Ryan plays good football, racking up a bunch of yards and less than 2 turnovers while the Seattle cornerbacks shout on the sidelines, effectively making the Falcons fly under the radar with their win. Russel Wilson does not have a great game- ATL- 27, SEA- 17 Seattle W: Russel Wilson continues the dominance, the Falcons fold, and Marsh ...
Hey, RGIII haters. Remember that the Seattle D made Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, and Colin Kaepernick all look like frightened children.
I'm tired of this read option in the nfl. All that means is you don't have a quarterback that can throw the ball. It also means you have to rely off or play fakes and college plays to win. Look what happen to RG3. He got dominated, Joe Webb same thing. Well see with Kaepernick. (we all know it's the Niner D is what is the only thing legit). Anyway ale your pick. Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Andrew Luck( who had 5 rushing touchdowns) Eli Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Matt Ryan or RGIII, Cam Newton, Colin Kaepernick, soon to be Geno Smith, Alex Smith?
At this point, I have a lot easier time believing Colin Kaepernick can be forced into turnovers and not Aaron Rodgers.
The 49ers will lose to the Packers because I love Aaron Rodgers and Alex Smith is a way better experienced QB than Colin Kaepernick!
Most intriguing matchup in the divisional round is an old playoff rivalry btween the Packers and 49ers. They had some classic battles in the 90s n 2000s. Even tho Green Bay is 4-1 n postseason against San Francisco, I think the 49ers defense is goin give Aaron Rodgers problems. Also want to see how Colin Kaepernick do in his 1st playoff start.
Aaron Rodgers, Matt Ryan, Russell Wilson, Colin Kaepernick, Tom Brady, Joe Flacco, Matt Schaub, Peyton Manning. These are the QB's still in the playoffs. Huge stage for RW3 to prove he belongs
Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers in their White. Colin Kaepernick and our San Francisco 49ers in our Red. Next Saturday. 5:00 pm. Candlestick Park. Oh yeah.
Week 1 Rematch of Green Bay Packers @ San Francisco 49ers. The Green Bay Packers will face off against the San Francisco 49ers January 12 at 8:00 ET for the NFC Division. The winner will move on to play in the NFC Championship Game. It will be a rematch between the two that faced off in week one. Aaron Rodgers led the passing game with 44 Attempts, 30 Completion for 303 Yards, and 2 Touchdowns. While Frank Gore led the running game with 16 carries for 112 yards and a touchdown, the 49ers pulled away with the victory and won 30-22 in Green Bay. This time around it will be Green Bay coming to San Francisco with their high-powered offense. Early in the season it was Alex Smith vs. Aaron Rodgers, but this time it will be Colin Kaepernick vs. Aaron Rodgers. Look for Aldon Smith, the 49ers leading sack holder to go after Rodgers. For Green Bay look for DuJuan Harris to run at Justin Smith and the right side of the offensive line. The winner of this game will be sitting happy in the NFC Championship Game and may ...
Aaron Rodgers is from NorCal and wanted to be a 49er growing up. Colin Kaepernick is from Wisconsin and wanted to be a Packer growing up. Fun storyline for this upcoming week.
NFC playoff quarterbacks: Matt Ryan, Colin Kaepernick, Aaron Rodgers, Robert Griffin III, Russell Wilson, Christian Ponder. If GB slips up against SF, then this is Matt Ryan's to lose. Yes, I just picked the Atlanta Falcons to win the Super Bowl.

Hey Saints. RG3, Cam Newton, Matt Cassel, Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, Colin Kaepernick, Matt Ryan, Eli Manning and Cam Newton again would all just like to say suck it this season! That game puts 2012 Saints as the official worst defense in NFL History. I'm a "hater", I know!
Great piece on Colin Kaepernick from 2010 telling his real story. Elements of Michael Jordan and Aaron Rodgers in there
Alex Smith's $7.5 base salary for 2013 becomes guaranteed if he's on the 49ers' roster by April 1. He's also due a $1 million roster bonus in March. Although Yahoo's Jason Cole predicts Colin Kaepernick's rocket arm and electric running ability will instigate a "serious quarterback controversy in San Francisco pretty soon," it's hard to envision the 49ers cutting ties with Smith as long as he directs the team to the playoffs. The salaries of the two QBs combined is far less than the total devoted to the position by most NFL teams. Smith's winning percentage (77) is behind only Aaron Rodgers and Matt Schaub since Jim Harbaugh took over as head coach.
