However, he was re-signed by the team on Octobe ...
The farewell tour of the once-great Lakers hoping to cling to the past is long gone, replaced by trying to start something new without really having anything new. While power forward Randle has star potential, most of the recent arrivals are veterans needing to prove they can still contribute in a big way, specifically Boozer, projected as the opening-night starter ahead of Randle, and Jeremy Lin, the starter if Nash struggles with his health. OK. When Nash struggles with his health. Bryant will marshal every piece of energy within California and five other states to drive the Lakers back into playoff consideration. Scott will offer more than local cred and Showtime memories. And Young may continue to score. But this could still get very ugly. All 30 teams were evaluated for their off-season moves with the Lakers being one of three teams to get a D. The Philadelphia 76ers and Indiana Pacers received the same grade with no other teams in the league going lower and only the Sacramento Kings getting a slight ...
Free agent forward Shawn Marion is leaning strongly toward signing with the Cleveland Cavaliers over the Indiana Pacers.
Anthony Bennett of the Cleveland Cavaliers just texted Roy Hibbert of the Indiana Pacers to encourage him to hang in there. It gets worse.
you heard this HERE first! the biggest move of the NBA Trade Deadline this year, came from one of the best teams in the NBA, and the current leader atop the Eastern Conference...the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers agreed to a trade with the Philadelphia 76ers, where they would trade Danny Granger, who has been with the team for his entire career so far, in exchange for Evan Turner and Lavoy Allen. That wasn't the only move the Sixers did at the trade deadline, they also agreed to trade center Spencer Hawes to the Cleveland Cavaliers, as it appears Philadelphia is taking "tanking" to a whole new level. It could get worse for the 76ers, as it has been reported Danny Granger was not happy with the trade (who could blame him) and he is reportedly requesting a buyout from the team. Rumor is that if he completes a buyout, the 2 teams on Granger's list are the San Antonio Spurs, and of course...the Miami Heat. A few days ago, it wouldn't be possible for Danny Granger to sign with the Heat because Miami did not have a ...

The Indiana Pacers will beat the Cleveland Cavaliers today
411: The San Antonio Spurs have won their 10th straight game in the NBA, cruising to a 126-96 triumph over the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Spurs blitzed Cleveland 35-11 in the second quarter to set up their victory, while San Antonio sank 16 three-pointers as they moved to the top of the Western Conference with a 12-1 win-loss record. San Antonio's victory ensured they stayed ahead of the Portland Trail Blazers in the Western Conference as the latter also won, knocking off the Golden State Warriors 113-101. Portland trailed by a point with a quarter to play at Golden State's Oracle Arena but destroyed the Warriors in the final term with 32 points to 17. The leading two teams in the Eastern Conference also won with the Indiana Pacers overcoming the Philadelphia 76ers 106-98 and the Miami Heat notching a sixth consecutive victory, prevailing 101-99 over the Orlando Magic. The Charlotte Bobcats trumped the Milwaukee Bucks 96-72 and the Houston Rockets cruised to a 112-101 triumph over the Minnesota Timberwolves ...
Here are today's Must-See Matchups: Key Game: Indiana Pacers at New York Knicks: Last postseason, the Pacers eliminated the Knicks in the second round of the playoffs. With the absence of Tyson Chandler, Roy Hibbert will most likely take advantage. -Washington Wizards at Cleveland Cavaliers: Former overall picks John Wall and Kyrie Irving headline the matchup. Can Wall build on last night's success, or will Kyrie and the Cavs claim the victory? -LA Clippers at Minnesota Timberwolves: Last week, the Clippers defeated the Timberwolves in a close game. In the second game of this series, the Wolves will try to upset the Clippers. -Houston Rockets at Dallas Mavericks: Earlier this season, the Rockets decimated the Mavs in Houston. Dirk and Monta will try to give the Rockets a taste of their own medicine at home. -Memphis Grizzlies at Golden State Warriors: Despite the absence of Steph Curry, Igoudala and Thompson will seek to slaughter the Grizzlies, who currently hold a 3 game road win streak. -Jordan23
Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls took Uncle Drew Kyrie Irving and the Cleveland Cavaliers to a History Lesson tonight, Cavs keep looking up because the Bulls own you and watch out Indiana Pacers because the Chicago Bulls are coming for you.

It was a good night for UA and ASU athletes at the NBA Draft. The Wildcats saw Solomon Hill selected with the 23rd pick by the Indiana Pacers and Grant Jerrett picked 40th by the Portland Trailblazers, while Sun Devil Carrick Felix was selected 33rd by the Cleveland Cavaliers. Which of these three will have the most successful NBA career?
I'm not the biggest NBA fan, however, I am glad to see Lebron James and the Miami Heat fall to the San Antonio Spurs in game one of the 2013 Finals. I highly doubt that San Antonio is able to sweep the series like they did in their last NBA Finals Championship in 2007 when they played LeBron and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Being a Cavs fan since I was a toddler, I've "witnessed" LeBron's play, his strengths and his weaknesses. Though his game is nearly flawless, it seems that he is again carrying his team through the playoffs much like he did while he was in Cleveland. Remember, LeBron left Cleveland to go to Miami because he didn't have the supporting cast to win a championship. When playing the Indiana Pacers in this year's Eastern Conference Finals, Miami struggled with the bigs of Indiana. Now, against Greg Popovich's defensive mindsetted San Antonio Spurs team, great point guard play from Tony Parker an inside presence with Tim Duncan, LeBron and Miami have revealed their weaknesses. As mentioned, I've ...
Ain't Lebron James impressive? The King came through with a clutch performance in the Miami Heat's 90-79 Game 5 win over the Indiana Pacers that gave the defending champions a critical 3-2 lead in their Eastern Conference Finals series. He exploded with 16 of his 30 points in the pivotal third quarter run that James himself described as reverting to his old, single-minded Cleveland Cavaliers days when he was used to carrying his former team. Of course, James has probably took it upon himself to carry the Heat on his shoulders as Miami's vaunted Big Three have been reduced to mere Big One with Dwyane Wade playing hurt and Chris Bosh playing...sorry...NOT PLAYING. If James' Game 5 effort isn't clutch, I don't know what is.
The Miami Heat Big 3 era is over. It's now Lebron James and company vs the Indiana Pacers & San Antonio Spurs. With Dwayne Wade's Health and Game slipping away from him he is a former shell of himself and its hard to watch him struggle every night. Pat Riley this off season will have a lot of choices to make. Also Chris Bosh is not the answer to their problems down low and neither is Chris Andersen either. Lebron James is willing this team to a NBA Finals and the time is now for Heat players to step up cause it only gets tougher from here on out. The Heat may have to ultimately trade Bosh, and Wade and get younger and get better shooters and improve their front line. The Miami Heat before our very own eyes have turned into the Cleveland Cavaliers of the SOUTH. Where Lebron has to do everything in the world in order to win a game. The Pacers,Bulls will get better next year and these ways they win now wont work in a year from now because those players and teams will be much improved. Enjoy it now Heat fans ...
Indiana Pacers have no difficulty in routing Cleveland Cavaliers, 111-90 - Plain Dealer
Here's how NBA Genius operate: Cleveland Cavaliers vs Orlando Magic 11.00AM AEST Market: Cavaliers @ Magic Pick: Cavaliers 11+ Odds: $3.70 Agency: Centrebet Stake: 0.5 Analysis: The Magic come into this game with a new roster. Jameer Nelson is likely to remain out which sends Beno Udrih to the point - it is never a good thing having a new player (who is not good) running point for the first time. Once Orlando get through the teething problems at the start of the game, they then look to their bench - where no longer sits JJ Redick. They are going to struggle immensely to keep up with the Cavs. Orlando have lost 3 of their last 4 by more than 11 points and have lost 16 of their last 17 matches. Orlando are also on a back-to-back. Indiana Pacers vs Detroit Pistons Market: Pacers @ Pistons Pick: Indiana 11+ Odds: $3.15 Agency: Centrebet Stake: 1 Analysis: These two teams played yesterday and Indiana made light work of the Pistons winning by 32. Brandon Knight is likely to remain out for the Pistons which is a ...

Just a win away from their second conference Finals in a row, the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters have been as busy off the hardcourt, and they have latched on to an import early. The Raymund Yu and Terry Que franchise will parade Croatian and former NBA player Bruno Sundov. The 7-3 Sundov played for the Dallas Mavericks, Indiana Pacers, Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks in the NBA before trying out his luck in the European and Soviet leagues. The Petron Blaze Boosters are expecting the arrival of former NBA stringer Renaldo Balkman early next week. The 6-foot-8 Balkman is fresh from a tour of duty with the New York Knicks, which released him after the acquisition of shooter JR Smith. Barangay Ginebra San Miguel will also bank on another former NBA player in Herbert Hill (Utah Jazz). The Air21 Express will no longer renew Marcus Douthit and are are now in negotiations with 23-year-old Michael Dunigan (Memphis Grizzlies free agent). Also in talks with their choice import is GlobalPort, ...
