Final Score: White Sox 5 Dodgers 4. The pitching matchup was pretty lackluster as neither Chris Sale or Clayton Kershaw had their best stuff. Sale had a tough first inning when he gave up 2 runs after hitting a couple of batters. The White Sox out hit the Dodgers 9-6 while also besting them in errors 3-1. Adam Eaton lead of the bottom of the first with an inside the park home run. He hustled his butt around the bases and proved that he has everything we need in a lead off hitter! Avasail Garcia also hit his first home run of the spring that put the SOX ahead for good in the bottom of the 6th. Offense continues to look solid! SOX WIN and improve to 6-7 on the spring!!!

World Baseball Classic Team USA roster announced.Ryan Braun and Jonathan Lucroy make it for the Brewers.but the pitching staff.4 man rotation of RA Dickey, Ryan Vogelsong, Kris Medlen and Derek Holland?? Really?? And the Bullpen? Craig Kimbrel is a legit coice as closer, but names like Vinnie Pestano? Tim Collins, Steve Cishek, Heath Bell, Jeremy Affeldt, Glen Perkins, Mitchell Boggs, Luke Gregorson, and Chris Perez??? Wow, I guess no teams in MLB want their stud pitchers throwing in the WBC.Just think of the staff you could up if you wanted...5 man rotation of Justin Verlander, Clayton Kershaw, Jered Weaver, Matt Cain, David Price not to mention names like Chris Sale, Cole Hamels, CC Sabathia, Madison Baumgarner, Zach Grienke, Jordan Zimmerman...thats 10 names off the top of my head not to mention relievers like Jim Johnson, and Jonathan Papelbon, Joe Nathan, Jason Motte, Tyler Clippard, and Joel Hanrahan...Position players a re a little better, but Shane Victorino over Josh Hamilton, Mike Trout, Andre . ...
My Take My Voice My Opinion Here is what I am looking forward to during the second half of this baseball season. The New York Yankees and Texas Rangers will continue to dominate and each win at least 100 games. The Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Indians, and Philadelphia Phillies will not make the playoffs just to name a few. The Washington Nationals, Cincinnati Reds, and Los Angeles Angels will make the playoffs and I believe The Pirates and SF Giants will have a say so as well. Top 5 position players in baseball right now are Braun, Votto, Kemp, Hamilton, and McCutchen in no particular order. Honorable mention goes to Mig Cabrera, Car Go, Joey Batts, and Robinson Cano. Top 5 pitchers are Justin Verlander, Jered Weaver, Gio Gonzalez, R. A. Dickey, and Matt Cain in no particular order. Honorable mention goes to Clayton Kershaw, Stephen Strasburg, James McDonald, David Price, and Chris Sale.
