Wives are welcome to join the India team in Australia but not girlfriends. After two consecutive defeats, the team will be allowed to spend time with their wives, before the Boxing Day test on the 26th of December. To motivate the cricketers morally, the BCCI has welcomed the cricketers’ spouses to travel to Australia and spend quality times with their husbands. It may be a dull Christmas for Virat, as players like Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravichandran Ashwin and Shikhar Dhawan will be looking forward to spend some time with their wives in Australia, and it maybe a lonely Christmas for Virat without Anushka. It was reported few days that Virat was upset over Anushka's recent photoshoot. We hope that is able to get back in action for the 3rd test in Melbourne. India 457 and 167 for 3 (Pujara 55, Vijay 52, Moeen 2-39) lead England 496 (Root 154*, Anderson 81, Bhuvneshwar 5-82) by 128 runs Scorecard and ball-by-ball details For three days England were a speck in India's mirrors. Achieving a result would take some doing on this pitch, but if anyone was in position to think of winning it was India. By the time day four came to an end, the equation had turned on its head. England started the day trailing by 105 with just one wicket remaining. When they lost that wicket in the fifth over after lunch, they were leading by 39, after Joe Root and James Anderson extended their partnership to 198, a Test record for the tenth wicket. By stumps, they had sent back India's top three, and all three wickets owed more to the batsman's choice of shot than to the bowling. Batting in much the same way they had done during their first-innings partnership, M Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara put on 91 serene runs for the second wicket before Vijay jumped down the pitch and looked to show ...

Star cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir has been selected for India’s tour of Bangladesh that starts on June 15. Suresh Raina, who was dropped for India’s last ODI assignment, – the Asia Cup – will lead India in the three-ODI series in Bangladesh in the absence of MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli among others. Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Shami Ahmed were rested too. Robin Uthappa earned an expected comeback, Wriddhiman Saha was called up to replace Dhoni as the wicketkeeper, and quite a few performers in the IPL got selected. Among those is also Parvez Rasool who is second time being included in India team after having found his name in squad during Zimbabwe Tour. In that tour, he missed to make his debut due to the surprising and much criticized decision made by Virat Kohli to leave him out of team in the fifth match. Sau vs Maha, T20 West Zone, 2014 Maharashtra posted a four-wicket win after bowling Saurashtra out for 123 in the West Zone clash in Mumbai. After Samad Fallah gave Maharashtra their first breakthrough, two wickets each by Dominic Muthusawmi, Chirag Khurana and Ankit Bawne and three run outs helped them skittle the opposition out. Losing wickets at regular intervals, Maharashtra batsmen then scaled the target with two balls to spare in a tight finish. Earlier, opting to bat first, Cheteshwar Pujara opened the batting with Sagar Jogiyani. But with 19 runs on the scorecard, Jogiyani edged the ball to the 'keeper and departed for 11. Pujara followed him back in the next over. Dominic Muthuswami’s direct hit found Pujara short of the crease while running to the non-striker’s end. Sheldon Jackson and Jaydev Shah then added 50 runs for the third wicket until Chirag Khurana castled the latter. In the next over, Jackson too was back in the dugout. An Ankit Bawne delivery took the edge of the bat and was caugh ...

Sachin Tendulkar, who has announced his retirement at the end of the ongoing Test match in Mumbai against the West Indies, still figures on the Board of Control for Cricket in India's list of contracted players for 2013-2014. Tendulkar, who is playing his 200th Test, figures in the elite Grade A alongside Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina and Ravichandran Ashwin. IPL 2014 auction : The Top 5 WORST buys :) 1. Dinesh Karthik Yes, an Indian wicketkeeper batsman of decent international experience is expected to fetch decent money, but Rs 12.5 crore for Dinesh Karthik is surely a case of Delhi Daredevils getting far too carried away. Karthik's stats in the IPL are pretty average and his strike rate is hardly impressive, so this SHOCKER from Delhi Daredevils is our WORST buy for the IPL auction of 2014. 2. Piyush Chawla KKR do prefer the slow pitches of the Eden Gardens and were searching for another spinner to bowl in tandem with the dangerous Sunil Narine, but Piyush Chawla's buy for Rs 4.25 crore is one that we are still trying to make sense of. As Chawla laughs his way to the bank, KKR may have to ponder on what went wrong as their spending on the bowling department has left them weak in the middle order. 3. Cheteshwar Pujara New Zealand captain Brendan McCullum recently made a comment on Cheteshwar Pujara : "He is the key wicket obviously. He can bat for weeks!", a ...
All others have been in either the Test or ODI squads on the tour of New Zealand. The selectors obviously expect the Indian cricketers, who have struggled in alien conditions in New Zealand, to perform to optimum levels in the more hospitable terrain of Bangladesh. Appreciating that pitches in Bangladesh could be more spin friendly during the 40 days on tour, the five selectors - Sandeep Patil (chairman), Roger Binny, Vikram Rathore, Saba Karim and Rajinder Singh Hans - chose at least four players who bowl spin in R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Amit Mishra and Yuvraj Singh. Batsmen, who have been brought up on a diet of spin on pitches that are brown, low and slow have also found favour. Stuart Binny, who was scarcely used by skipper MS Dhoni in New Zealand, has been rewarded for his fine showing in Irani Cup. But Ishant Sharma, who did fairly well in the first Test last week, has been dropped from both teams while Suresh Raina, like Yuvraj and Mohit, is in the squad only for the World T20. Cheteshwar Pujara ...
Kiwis end Test drought against India Today at 08:37 (Source: Cricket365) New Zealand have claimed their first Test win over India since 2002 as Brendon McCullum's side secured a thrilling 40-run victory in the opening Test in Auckland on Sunday. After setting India 407 for the victory, fast bowlers Neil Wagner picked four wickets and fellow quicks Trent Boult and Tim Southee claimed three each to bowl the visitors out for 366. The victory was set up by their mammoth first-innings score of 503 with captain McCullum's 224 the pinnacle of their total, but it was the bowlers who conjured up some magic on day four to pull off the win. After a disastrous day three that saw them bowled out for 105 to leave India with the 400-plus target, the hosts found themselves on the back foot for most of the day as Shikhar Dhawan scored a century and Virat Kohli chipped in with a half-ton, but the pacers kept chipping away. With Murali Vijay removed the evening before, Cheteshwar Pujara (23) added only one run to his overni ...
Ind vs NZ: Shikhar Dhawan hundred leads Indian run chase on Day 4 in first Test Auckland, New Zealand February 09, 2014 Shikhar Dhawan reached his second century soon after lunch as India steadily progressed towards the victory target on the fourth day of the first Test against New Zealand at Eden Park in Auckland on Sunday. Scorecard Dhawan is only the second Indian batsman to hit a century in the fourth innings in an away Test match. Only Sunil Gavaskar has done it before and he did it four times. Neil Wagner broke the 126-run partnership between Dhawan and Virat Kohli (67) when he had the latter caught behind by Bradley Watling. Dhawan and Kohli brought up their 100-run stand in the second session of the day after taking the Indian second innings score to 180/2 at lunch. India scored 93 runs in the first session of the day with the loss of Cheteshwar Pujara's wicket. Kohli got to his ninth half-century in the last over before lunch, the last ball of which was hit for a four by Dhawan. Dhawan and Kohli ...
Indian Premier League franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore have decided to retain Indian batting sensation Virat Kohli, West Indian big-hitting batsman Chris Gayle, and South African ODI captain AB de Villiers for the next three seasons of the glamour league. The Vijay Mallya-owned franchise are yet to taste IPL success, but the retention of three of their superstars points to the fact that they are looking to build a team around these three key players. The franchise also announced that Daniel Vettori will be their new head coach, while Alan Donald has been named their bowling coach. Venkatesh Prasad was the previous bowling coach while, Ray Jennigns was the head coach of RCB. Vettori, incidentally, has become the first active cricketer to be handed a coaching role. The Bangalore-based franchise have decided to free some high profile players such as Cheteshwar Pujara and Zaheer Khan, although they would be keen to use their two remaining "right-to-match" cards in the auction in February

ICC Rankings: Pujara achieves career-best rating; Kohli 11th Dubai, Jan 6: India's Cheteshwar Pujara today achieved career-best 851 rating points in the latest ICC Test Rankings for batsmen. India's number three batsman, Pujara has moved two places to be at the fifth position in the batsmen's rankings in Tests that were released Monday by the International Cricket Council (ICC). Pujara, with a century in the just concluded two-Test series against South Africa, gained two places. Virat Kohli, who too hit a ton against the Proteas, however, maintained his 11th position in the rankings. Pujara is the only Indian in the top-10. His 851 rating points are the best for him so far in his short Test career. Apart from Pujara and Kohli, there is no other Indian in the top-20 list headed by South Africa's AB de Villiers. Shivnarine Chanderpaul of West Indies is second followed by Ross Taylor of New Zealand. In the bowlers' Test rankings, Ashes hero Ryan Harris of Australia moved two places up to be the third behind ...
Cheteshwar Pujara moves to career-best fifth in ICC Test rankings, Virat Kohli remains static at No. 11! In the all-rounder's ranking, Ashwin continued to rule the roost at the top. South Africa's AB de Villiers leads the Test batsmen table with 912 points followed by Shivnarine Chanderpaul(876) of West Indies and Ross Taylor (871) from New Zealand. Left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha fell one spot to ninth position in the bowlers' table, led by South Africa's Vernon Philander. Ojha lost his place to Australian speedster Mitchell Johnson, who had a sensational Ashes series gained three points to jump to 8th in the bowling list. Johnson's teammate Ryan Harris, jumped to a career-best third. Philander was followed by his teammate Dale Steyn.
Cheteshwar Pujara, Murali Vijay picked by Australian media in 2013 Test team.
Sky Sports Cricket Review 2013: The cricketing year had a bit of everything; England's ups and downs included a double dose of the Ashes, while several exciting young players emerged - and an old master retired. As the dust settles on another 12 months, we've picked out the highs and lows from home and abroad. India: Team of the year India have gone from strength to strength, remaining unbeaten in seven Tests and winning the Champions Trophy. Mahendra Singh Dhoni's men whitewashed Australia 4-0 on home soil in February and March before dominating the Champions Trophy in England in June with five straight wins, culminating in beating the hosts in the final. The striking feature of India's play this year has been the way a new generation of batsmen - Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Cheteshwar Pujara and Rohit Sharma - have stepped up to fill the shoes of the previous generation, of whom Sachin Tendulkar was the final survivor. South Africa win to give Kallis perfect send-off South Africa overpowered India by ten wickets in Jacques Kallis' final Test to give one of the greatest of Test careers the perfect end. Kallis will retire satisfied at having been an integral part of a South Africa side who are the undisputed No. 1 in Tests, having lost just one of their previous 25 series stretching back to 2006. It was a wonderful summer day to sign off. A 40% chance of rain was expected to be one of India's allies on a day that was the biggest challenge for their young batting line-up. Instead, they were greeted by clear blue skies and pleasant sunshine. And their chances worsened dramatically within 15 minutes of the start of play, as Dale Steyn removed their two best batsmen, Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara, in a fierce spell of fast bowling. India managed to clear the deficit just before lunch, but South Africa had mopped up five wickets in the first session to put themselves on the verge of a series victory. Though it was the fift ...
Murali Vijay had a 157-run partnership for the second wicket with Cheteshwar Pujara. But once the two batsmen got out, India folded on either side of the tea-break, bowled out for 334 runs.
THE Castle Lager Proteas had by far their best day of the Sunfoil Test series against India at Sahara Stadium Kingsmead on Friday when they turned the tables on their opponents and took the momentum out of the second day’s play.   The Proteas finished the day on 82 without loss in only 20 overs in their first innings after they had taken nine wickets for 153 runs on a rain-shortened day to dismiss India for 334.   India started the day well on top at 181/1 but Dale Steyn changed the whole course of the game when he took three wickets in 10 balls without conceding a run to change the total from 198/1 to 199/4.   It was a day-changing moment as Steyn ended the stand of 157 for the second wicket between Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara and, although resistance was provided by in-form Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane who added 66 for the fifth wicket and Rahane and MS Dhoni who put on 55 for the sixth, the Proteas remained in control.   The last four wickets fell for just 14 runs for India to be all out ...

A second-wicket century stand between Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara put India in control before bad light forced an early finish to the first day of second test against South Africa on Thursday.
"India’s Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara keep SA at bay: by
Murali Vijay scored a brilliant half-century and was unbeaten on 71 while Cheteshwar Pujara was unbeaten on 42 as India reached 145 for one after 43 overs. India scored briskly after the lunch break having added 60 to the lunch score.
India's Cheteshwar Pujara says the Proteas' batting at the end of the first Test showed a lack of confidence in their lower order.
South Africa took more wickets in the morning session than they managed in 78 overs yesterday, but Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli had already taken India to such a strong position that it didn't alter the overall match position much
Jacques Kallis has 3 wickets first was Murali Vijay number 2 was Cheteshwar Pujara and the 3 wicket was Rohit Sharma looks like he forgot how to bat.

After Rahul Dravid . The only player Who have the guts of CRICET That's ''Cheteshwar Pujara ''
Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara have extended India's lead over a depleted South African team on the third day of the first Test.
Even the commentators or analyst can get carried away. Arun Lal says Cheteshwar Pujara is better than Rahul Dravid at similar stage of their careers. How many of you agree with this statement? I do not want to take anything away from Pujara but I am still not convinced by Arun's remark.
India lost Murali Vijay (39) after the opener added a valuable 70-run stand with Cheteshwar Pujara and took India's lead over 100 runs against South Africa.
Wow! What an amazing battle we witnessed at Joh'burg yesterday. After an initial bombardment from Steyn and Morkel sent Shikar Dhawan and Murali Vijay, India were staring at a huge battering. However resilience from Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara came to India's rescue. Both of them were disciplined in consistently leaving ANY deliveries that were outside off stump, sharp in their footwork and defense as they did not play shots away from their body and putting away the loose ones. Their resistance had South Africa under pressure. It was a pity that Pujara got run out, because he and Virat were sublime and were putting real pressure on South Africa. Also it was unfortunate that Kohli lost his concentration after reaching a magnificent hundred and after some banter from Jacque Kallis, got trapped into spooning a wide outswinging half volley to short extra-cover. Had we not gifted South Africa those wickets, we would have definitely been in a commanding position. Nevertheless the Indians at 255-5 ...
ICC ODI cricketer of 2013? a) Michael Clarke b) Kumar sangakara c)Cheteshwar Pujara d)Sarah Taylor Answer of previous question: option E If Rajesh walks at 10 km/hr, then he reach home at 19.00 hours and if he walks at 15 km/hr, then he returns home at 18.30 hours. Since speed is inversely proportional to time hence we can assume that time required in the first case will be 15x minutes and that in the second case will be 10x minutes. Difference in time = 15x-10= 5x = 30min, hence x =6 Hence he travels for 90min and 60min with speed 10 and 15 kmph, hence total distance = 15km. To reach home at 18.15 hours, he has to walk 15 km in 45 minutes Hence Required speed = 15/0.75 = 20 km/hr

Each Indian batsman a match-winner Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara are bubbling with confidence and self-belief. The young and dynamic Indian team is embarking shortly on a tour to South Africa. This is an exciting prospect, as it will be a good indicator about the true potential of Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s side. Unfortunately, the tour includes just two Test matches. A true test would have been a series of at least four Tests as it would have brought out the ability, consistency, sustainability, fitness and strategies of both sides. The mentality for the longest version of the game is entirely different and therefore, most recent Test matches have been finishing well before the last day. The other disadvantage is that the team does not get the opportunity to change the playing eleven as in a two-match series it would be unfair to drop any player on account of a single failure. This at times can be very frustrating for the reserve players as their only contribution starts a ...
What policitains said about India's recent 4-0 win over Australia? - Indian Cricket Team recently scored a brilliant 4-0 win over the highly competitive Australian team. The politicians would probably have this to say about the outcome. Manmohan Singh: Well . Salman Khurshid: This is Sonia Gandhi's win. I mean our foreign policy is so amazing that Australia was forced to bow before us. Karunanidhi: Ashwin and Murali Vijay must now beat Sri Lanka in the field to avenge the plight of Tamils. Digvijay Singh: We see the hands of communal forces behind this win as both Ravindra Jadeja and Cheteshwar Pujara are both Gujaratis. Manish Tiwari: This win is because of the Congress party's policy of favouring the youth. Today's young team is playing much better simply because of Rahul Gandhi. Kapil Sibal: Australia beat India 4-0, India defeated Australia 4-0... Zero Loss theory proved. Mayawati: There are no Dalit players in the Indian team. BCCI is anti Dalit. I demand a 30% reservation for Dalits in the team. ...
Hendricks continues his fine form 26 November By SAPA Johannesburg – Beuran Hendricks has already made sure the success he enjoyed in his debut season of first-class cricket cannot be put down to chance. The 23-year-old fast bowler claimed 35 scalps in seven four-day matches in the last series, to finish fifth on the list of wicket-takers as the Cobras cruised to the title in 2012/13. It was a phenomenal return for someone playing his first proper season of franchise cricket, and it landed Hendricks a spot in the South Africa A side which took on Australia A and India A during the winter. The left-armer duly produced his finest performance in the second 'Test' against an India A side boasting the likes of Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara, when he claimed career-best figures of 11/63 under the watchful eye of Proteas head coach Russell Domingo. However, the list of flash-in-the-pan fast bowlers in domestic cricket around the world is a long one, and so the importance of pushing on this season was not l ...
Smith’s nemesis Zaheer returns 26 November By Stuart Hess Johannesburg: India’s first Test squad of the post-Sachin Tendulkar era features a host of batting talent for whom South Africa will be a major examination of temperament and technique. This generation of cricketers, particularly batsmen inspired by Tendulkar get the chance to take up the baton for Indian cricket for the first time since his retirement, and for the likes of Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, the two Tests against the Proteas represent the opportunity to usher in a new era. That trio will form the heart of India’s batting line-up for the two Tests, and their battles – albeit brief ones because of the schedule for the tour being curtailed – with Dale Steyn, Vernon Philander and Morné Morkel will go a long way to deciding the outcome of the matches at the Wanderers and Kingsmead. Ajinkya Rahane, who has played just one Test, is the front-runner to fill the No 6 spot, although with India having a two-day warm-u ...

Zaheer Khan included, Gautam Gambhir ignored for India's tour to South Africa: reports NDTVCricket | Updated: November 25, 2013 13:58 IST Zaheer Khan has made a sensational return to the Indian squad for the two Test matches in South Africa next month. Zaheer was in the fray to return after impressive Ranji Trophy performances and the selection panel, headed by Sandeep Patil, has decided to blend youth with experience in the pace attack. However openers Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag have been ignored. With Murali Vijay and Shikhar Dhawan having sealed the first XI openers' slot, Gambhir was in contention for the reserve openers slot with Ajinkya Rahane earmarked as a middle-order batsman. While Virat Kohli is expected to be promoted as No.4 after Sachin Tendulkar's retirement, Rahane is likely to be introduced in the playing XI as the No.6 batsman with skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni coming in at No.7. Cheteshwar Pujara and Rohit Sharma are automatic choices in the side at No.3 and No.5 respectively. In ...

WI face daunting prospect West Indies ended another eventful day in an uneasy position on Friday, following another tireless spell of spin bowling from Shane Shillingford that was trumped by hundreds from Cheteshwar Pujara and Rohit Sharma that put India on course for victory in the second Test here. The wickets of opener Kieran Powell, night-watchman Tino Best and left-hander Darren Bravo left the Windies facing an uphill struggle to save the match at the Wankhede Stadium, after they closed the second day on 43 for three in their second innings, still 270 in arrears. Shillingford again had been the pick of the West Indies bowlers, collecting 5-179 from 43 overs, as Pujara gathered his fifth Test hundred of 113 and Sharma hit his second straight, an undefeated 111 to lead India to 495, replying to the visitors’ first innings total of 234. Part-time off-spinner Narsingh Deonarine supported Shillingford, grabbing 2-45 from 11 overs, including the prized scalp of India star batsman Sachin Tendulkar, possib ...
Windies 43/3 At Close On Day 2 published by ikhan on Thu, 11/14/2013 - 22:43 Cricinfo article. Mumbai, India - Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara, two of India's brightest young talents, were pummelling West Indies into submission at the Wankhede Stadium on the second morning, but cricket had rarely felt this anti-climactic for Indian fans. During the first hour, however, Test cricket had rarely felt so alive. With Sachin Tendulkar playing what could be his final Test innings, his legion of fans were put through the emotional wringer. This whole series has been drenched in Tendulkar nostalgia, and every vintage shot he played today only highlighted what fans are going to miss in the days ahead. Every mis-step - like two attempted upper cuts off Tino Best - caused massive anxiety. Fans were uncertain whether they wanted Tendulkar to be on strike - so they could lap up a few more of his shots - or at the non-striker's end as the tension was close to unbearable when he batted. - Summary Scores: West Indies 1s ...

Tendulkar thrills Wankhede crowd after West Indies collapse Another West Indies collapse, the third of the series, gave the Wankhede Stadium crowd what they wanted: Sachin Tendulkar out in the middle. Then Tendulkar gave the crowd what they craved with a near flawless 38, adding 80 with Cheteshwar Pujara, to take India to 157 for 2, a mere 25 runs behind West Indies first innings total of 182. Tendulkar was greeted with a guard of honour from the West Indies team and standing ovation from the crowd. He began with a slog sweep for a single – the ball running off the under edge – but after that showed little signs of nerves. He was committed in defence, both forwards and back, and when the ball was there to be hit, cut and drove with authority. When Sammy brought himself back on with four overs to go, Tendulkar unfurled that patented on-drive, the ball racing past mid-on to the boundary. This was what the thousands at the ground and the millions watching on TV wanted to see. Sachin drives during his inn ...

If Cheteshwar Pujara is good enough to play the IPL, then he is surely good enough to play limited over cricket!
*** Got spammed by someone claiming to be Cheteshwar Pujara's agent, soliciting endorsements.

‘He is a Rockstar….the future of Indian cricket’. This is how Rajasthan Royals skipper Shane Warne described Ravindra Jadeja during the course of the inaugural Indian Premier League (IPL) last year. It’s hardly surprising that Jadeja was selected in the Indian ODI squad. Hailing from the former princely state of Jamnagar in Gujarat, a place that gave India great cricketers like Ranjitsinhji, Duleepsinhji and Vinoo Mankad, who went on to engrave India’s name in cricketing history, Jadeja is a superb athlete, who nicely fits the bill as a genuine all-rounder which is so rare in Indian cricket. Breaking Jamnagar’s royal tradition of producing ‘Maharajas’ as cricketers, Ravindra Jadeja, the son of a watchman, joins the cluster of new breed of young cricketers in India who despite having modest backgrounds, dare to dream big. That he dreamt big is a testimony to his daredevil attitude on the field. Whatever the situation might be, he never shies away from imminent challenges. Looking at his cri ...
Who is a better choice murli vijay or cheteshwar pujara All know why murli is in team
The taint of the spot-fixing scandal has brought additional pressure on the Indian team to perform well in the tournament which begins Thursday.
What would be your playing XI for tomorrows match . Based on the warmup matches???
The streak of poor performances by the Mr. Talent of the Indian Cricket Team continues and add woes to the top batting line-up while the fixer as usual capitulates even before a mediocre fast bowling attack . The dismal performances by the above 2 favored proteges of Dhoni will get further compunded when the english pitches start seaming and swinging later on in the tournament . The non inclusion of inform batsman Cheteshwar Pujara seems to make the top line extremely vulnerable . thanx to brilliant performances by the DK and the skipper which lend some credential to the batting prowess but relying solely on them once to often would be a cardinal mistake
Drifting topic to cricket. Why choose Murali Vijay over Ajinkya Rahane or Cheteshwar Pujara? Its like choosing chinese products over german
Cheteshwar Pujara scored 200* in his first match after getting married and now Umesh Yadav has got 5 wickets in his first match after marriage. now the question is that When Will Rohit Sharma get married??
Better results after marriage- Cheteshwar Pujara scores 200 in his 1st inngs and nw Umesh Yadav wit a 5 wicket haul million dollar question-when would ashish nehra get married???
Cheteshwar Pujara scores a century after his wedding. Umesh Yadav takes a 5-for after his wedding. Take note, Rohit Sharma.
Well played Dinesh Karthik 146* not out against Aussi in warm up game. U well deserve the place in Indian team as u performing well from last 4 - 5 months. well played man :) ... Also well played MSD for his blasting innings of 91. Again Rohit Sharma's worst form is continue for India. I don't know why this guy is picking again & again for India??? selectors wat happen to u all ??? ju becz he has performed in IPL also I don't know why only he performs in IPL why can't for his country in international level???... of I jus feel he should be remove from Indian team & give a chance to a player like Ajikya Rahane or Cheteshwar Pujara .
I can think of 2 players who've been hard done by and should have been in this squad -- Cheteshwar Pujara and Shami Ahmed
India's best batsman does not qualify to play in one dayers?Something incorrect, the way we select # Cheteshwar Pujara
Jersey can make a huge difference :P perfect ex.! shrma # Murali Vijay

Virat Kohli apparently has the hots only for Sri Lanka and not any other team when it comes to performing. Rohit Sharma has obliged to his old title again - 2 minute Maggi Man. So will Ravindra Jadeja reclaim the title back of Sir Sri Sri Ravindra Jadeja ?
cheteshwar pujara who has avg of 55 in FC cricket, avg of 50 in test cric,is not selected for Champions Trophy when he is fit.thre comes gang
We have seen time and again that how Mr Dhoni keep faith on his favorite players like Jadeja, Raina ashwin and all, on the expense of greatly talented youngsters like Manoj Tiwari, Cheteshwar Pujara, Rahane etc. I had been saying this time and again here that Dhoni does favoritism, and it was even evident in his decisions, that he wants only his favorite players in the team, But many of you didn't believe, and I had no proof to prove myself. But circumstances has changed yesterday. Now its very clear that why Jadeja, Raina and all, continued to remain in the team, even when they were not performing and we had good bench strength. We used to think It was due to CSK, but no we were wrong. It was something much bigger, it was the stake of 15% and a deal of 210 crores of Rupees, which had bounded our Dearest Captain to play the players, who are also managed by the same firm, called as Rhiti Sports. A firm started only six years ago today has the potential to provide 210 crores to a single player, you can see ...
Many a times we have questioned Dhoni's selection policies. We would see few good players warming the bench for an entire season while some selected few got to be a part of the team series after series. Captain cool said he doesn't believe in judging the performance of youngsters based on one match or one series and wanted to give them some time to settle in the international arena before dropping them(for non-performance) and rotating someone else from the bench pool. We believed him then, even though the likes of Manoj Tiwari, Rahane, Robin Uthappa, Cheteshwar Pujara were warming the benches. But now we ask, Was this really a part of the policy Dhoni believed in or was it a conflict of interest in getting players he and Rhiti sports Management pvt ltd managed and had tangible benefits as he held 15% shares in the firm? While I would have called anyone who would make any such allegations on MSD a complete nut few months ago, today these questions do raise suspicion in my mind. The spot fixing fiasco in t ...
What the F..k Dhoni getting 15% from Ridhi Management Sports ..owned by his friend..Arun Pandey ...The same firm takes care of all endorsements of Raina, Jadeja, Ojha, R P Singh.. Dhoni..being Vice President in India Cements...Parent owner of Chennai Super Kings...owned by Srinivasan... Is this the same reason...why good players like Dinesh Karthik, Manoj Pandey, Cheteshwar Pujara n others are benched most of the time n used for serving drinks to players in the dressing room...without getting matches to play... Dhoni part of Selection also... IPL Fixed ... Why are these *** ..taking the Cricket lovers n followers for a Ride ??? which cricketer can play better in all 3 formats? Comment binus
BCCI, I know you are going through a lot at the moment but just wanted to inform you that your national team selectors have done a Great job by picking Rohit Sharma over Cheteshwar Pujara. He has once again proved his worth. :X
Our men in blue have just set foot on old blighty (the cold forbidding and rainy shores of England) and captain Mahendar Singh Dhoni has stirred a virtual hornet's nest with his steadfast refusal to answer any and every question pertaining to the spot and match fixing imbroglio in the just concluded IPL season 6; I for one am not too perturbed by Dhoni's refusal to answer all such questions but am more concerned with Team India's chances in the last edition of the Champion's Trophy. The Indian team did not exactly cover itself in glory when it was in England the last time around, it lost the test series by a 4-0 margin and was also completely blanked out in the ODI series that followed, the Champion's Trophy offers them a chance to redeem themselves and set the record straight, but the million dollar question is whether or not Team India has the wherewithal to do well in alien conditions. Let's take a closer look at the fifteen men chosen by the five supposedly wise men of Indian cricket (the selectors) a ...
Ok..Cheteshwar Pujara has not been selected for CT.but he needs to b brought to the ODI scheme of things, keeping in mind the 2015 WC...He can b a good opening batsman in Aus-Nz, alongwith Gambhir...m saying Gambhir bcos he is needed to open in ODIs..nd he has an excellent record in Aus...For me, Pujara & Gambhir will make an excellent opening pair in 2015 WC..
How will you rate a player who Played 17 Test matches and scored 1000+ Runs with average around 55.00 And also in those 17 matches he scored two double hundreds
Kings XI Punjab have won the toss and they will be fielding first. Cheteshwar Pujara plays his first game this season. Ravi Rampaul is also back in the squad tonight. Let the cheers of Aar Ce Be get louder as the boys come out to bat!
Ashok Dinda, Gautam Gambhir, Shami Ahmed, Yuvraj Singh, Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane are no more in the squad.
