Emmanuel Clottey has been a star in the Caf Champions League this season, coming to the fore again and again for Berekum Chelsea in Africa's premier club competition. The 24-year-old striker scored a hat-trick against Egyptian giants Zamalek in a 3-2 victory earlier in July, and salvaged a point for the competition debutants against TP Mazembe on Sunday. Berekum found themselves 2-0 down heading into the second half at Stade du TP Mazembe in Lubumbashi, but Clottey turned on the style and ensured that the Ghanaian side returned home with a 2-2 draw. Clottey pulled one back for Berekum on 71 minutes from the penalty spot and in the 84th minute produced a moment of sheer class and quality. He turned his marker inside from the right-hand side of the penalty area and curled home a fine shot with his left foot into the far top corner.
