Les Miles or Chip Kelly. At this point Tennessee has nothing to lose and all to gain. It’s time to go Butch Jones.
The only way Mark Helfrich becomes UT's OC is, fire Butch and hire Chip Kelly!! Butch Jones is too stubborn to change.
If I'm Tennessee, I fire Butch Jones right now. And I call Chip Kelly and tell him to name his price. And I mean name it.
Sark, Chip Kelly, Billy O'Brien, Randy Edsall, Al Golden, Butch Jones...who else is walking the Green Mile?
I'm going to make a prediction. Two years from now Chip Kelly will have two losing seasons in the NFL and will get fired. I don't think his up tempo offense will work with the big boys. He will then be hired by either Tennessee or Mississippi state. Butch Jones isn't going to make it in the SEC like he did at Cincinnati and Dan Mullen is not going to be able to get State up to full potential. Like I said though, just a prediction.
Butch Jones hired by UT. Fails miserably. Chip Kelly goes to the NFL. Fails miserably. Our timing may finally be right this time.
If this Chip Kelly dude is as smart as I think he is, he will tell the NFL to take a flying leap and remain the coach of Oregon. this "Quack-Attack" bunch has it going on! 24 scoring drives of one minute or less this season---WOW! . and the VOLS have to go out there next season. Butch Jones better be a miracle worker!
KNOXVILLE (AP) — Butch Jones wasn’t Tennessee’s first choice as its next football coach. The Volunteers believe the former Cincinnati coach will prove he’s the right choice.
For those negative fans that say Butch Jones lost to Dooley, hear ya go: Saban, Miles, Petrino, Spurrier, and Chip Kelly lost to Gene Chizik.
