We saw the most monumental things (well as much as we could lol) First off, we saw the Freedom Tower, crossed the Brooklyn Bridge, Saw the Statue of Liberty, rode the subway (which Michaela and I were both freaked out by at first lol), our first stop was Time Square. It was awesomeness. Saw lots of chinese/japenese people lol, Hello Kitty Mickey mouse, Sponge Bob, NYPD on street corners, Little did I realize that a public bathroom is out of the question, so we Found McDonalds (which was an amazing Mcdonalds right in Time Square) We waited for about 45 minutes in line for Michaela to use the bathroom. We walked around a little more, went back on the subway where we got to see some "subway dancers" doin crazy flips and pretty neat dance moves on the train, we rode to Coney Island, saw some ragae dancing on the boardwalk, went and put our feet in the ocean, saw some pretty big cruise ships, then Michaela had to use the bathroom again, and was sc ...
![]() Okay, its been hectic, but hectic is good, New Yak City...was great. went with our compadres Tony and Rosa Dominquez for 7 days, stayed in Brooklyn in a very nice place. Never have we walked so much. We must of walked a least 6 miles each day. My wife whom runs a 10 minute mile did not care to go for a run for more than once at Prospect Park. We saw all the sights, Ellis Island, walked over the Brooklyn Bridge and then went to Grimaldi's Pizza just below the bridge in the Promenaide. Its truely the best pizza anywhere. Got the hang of the subways, caught a train from Grand Central Station to Cold Springs. Sunday, 7/1/12 we all went to a New York Yankees game and later that night had dinner at a club and saw a Motown concert. I yelled at the band to play some Marvin Gaye and they did. On Wednesday we had reservation at Peter Lugars Steak House, the number One steak house in New York for the last 24 years. But the best part of the trip was the Broadway show we saw Tuesday night just off Time Square. We saw ...

![]() Cody and I have arrived in Ladner after an amazing, non-stop week in NYC. It was so incredible to share it with the 97 other great people we were with. Highlites: moving 99 people through the subways, buses and sidewalks of NYC, seeing WICKED on Broadway, , NBC tour, Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Centre, Radio City Music Hall tour, Noshing tour, Central Park, a METS game at City Field, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Time Square, Brooklyn Bridge etc. The most emotional was the performance our group put on at an inner city elementary school in Brooklyn. Many of us were moved to tears to see the childrens response to the music. A week I will never forget. Many thanks and many blessings.
