The Dwarf "Gus" in Snow White and the Huntsman is Brian Gleeson... Just learned he's related to Domhnall & Brendan Gleeson.
Saw "Snow White and the Huntsman" last night. Although it was a dissapointment, I didn't hate it that much. There was a lot in the movie that I surprisingly enjoyed: Chris Hemsworth is full of his fierce Thor energy, the visuals are glorious to look at, the cinematography is handled nicely, the fight sequences are surprisingly good, and the fact they got Nick Frost, Bob Hoskins, Ian McShane, Ray Winstone, Toby Jones, Brian Gleeson, and Eddie Marson as the dwarves = FREAKING EPIC. Unfortunately, the downside was Kristen Stewart forgot she wasn't in "Twilight" anymore, the lot of Charlize Theron's over-acting provided a lot of giggles, and the script faltered from being balanced to getting clunky with subplots that went nowhere. And honestly, what was up with the scene where Theron takes a dip in the pool of milk? Was that necessary at all? Not exactly a good movie, but not exactly a bad one either. Little substance, but nice visuals. 2.5/4.
