(Reuters) - Bolivia accused Austria of "kidnapping" its president, Evo Morales, on Wednesday after authorities searched his plane during a stop-over in Vienna on suspicion he was taking fugitive U.S. intelligence analyst Edward Snowden to Latin America. A senior Bolivian diplomat said the Austrians had acted at the bidding of the United States, which has been trying to get its hands on Snowden since he revealed details of its secret surveillance programs last month. "We're talking about the president on an official trip after an official summit being kidnapped," Bolivia's ambassador to the United Nations, Sacha Llorenti Soliz, told reporters in Geneva. The Bolivian plane, which was taking Morales home from an energy conference in Moscow, was stranded at Vienna airport for several hours after Portugal and France refused to allow it to fly through their airspace. The search found that Snowden was not on board and the plane eventually left Vienna about noon on Wednesday.
We won't let this go! Every time the ball really starts rolling and picking up speed on this the administration throws out another squirrel! Did we give missiles and/or other weapons to Al Qaeda/affiliates to help get rid of Gaddafi as quickly as possible? Was Chris Stevens there to buy back those weapons from Al Qaeda? Al Qaeda has plenty of money. I doubt any monetary offer from the President of the United States would intrigue Al Qaeda or the Muslim Brotherhood. What they want is the release of the Blind Sheik. What little security our people had in Benghazi was removed in August 2012. Any further requests for security were denied. On September 11, 2012 Special forces were told to stand down during the attack. General Ham was relieved of duty because he fully intended to ignore stand down orders. So, was Ambassador Chris Stevens to be taken by Al Qaeda and released in exchange for Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman "the Blind Sheik"? What few answers we have from this administration only leads to more questions. ...
RELEASE ‘BLIND SHEIK’ Omar Abdel Rahman FROM PRISON, ISLAMIST URGE U.S. By Colum Lynch and Abigail Hauslohner, BEFORE BIN LADEN, THERE WAS THE “BLIND SHEIK.” A generation ago, Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman stood as the embodiment of Islamist terrorism: The bearded religious extremist with the trademark red-and-white cap and dark sunglasses helped orchestrate the first bombing of the World Trade Center, in 1993, and plotted several unrealized attacks against other New York landmarks. Two decades of imprisonment in high-security detention centers in the United States have diminished his public profile. But the Egyptian cleric is gaining notoriety among a new generation of Muslim holy warriors, and he has become a cause celebre for Islamist political leaders who came to power during the Arab Spring. Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi assumed office with a pledge to press the United States for Abdel Rahman’s release. In October, al-Qaeda chief Ayman al-Zawahiri released a video in which he called on Egyptia ...

THE BLIND SHEIK: Omar Abdel-Rahman is currently in prison in North Carolina for seditious conspiracy. Anwar Sadat of Egypt was murdered and overthrown by Mohammed Morsi with assistance from the United States. In his Presidential inauguration speech Morsi promised to seek the release of the Blind Sheik. Subsequent rumors were the US State Department was trying to release the Sheik. When there was too much inquiry and protest from Congress and some conservative groups. The State Department denied there was ever any consideration of a move. Nevertheless the White House was still looking for a way to pacify President Morsi. This brings us to the Sept 11 attack at Benghazi. The White House may have been using Ambassador Stevens as a pawn. The plan was for insurgents to capture Ambassador Stevens alive and then make a deal with Egypt to trade him for the Blind Sheik. Al-qaeda had already been calling for the capture of a high ranking official to perpetrate such a trade. If such a move occurred just before the ...
