June 7, 1993…In Cleveland, the groundbreaking ceremony was held for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Chuck Berry, Sam Phillips, Pete Townshend, and Billy Joel were among those present at the ceremony. The historical day finished with a Benefit Concert at Cleveland Municipal Stadium. The line-up for the event consisted of legendary artist such as Chuck Berry, Bob Dylan, Al Green, Jerry Lee Lewis, Aretha Franklin, Johnny Cash, the Pretenders, John Fogerty, Lou Reed, Iggy Pop, George Clinton, the Kinks, John Mellencamp, Bruce Springsteen, Booker T. and the MGs, Eric Burdon and Martha Reeves.
I have seen many amazing performers in my life, but never have I ever had an experience as I did at the concert I attended last night. Last night, on May 19th, 2014, Barry Gibb performed at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA. And it's plain to see that Barry Gibb, even at the age of 67, is still keeping the Bee Gee tradition of excellent music and extraordinary showmanship alive. I first learned that Barry was coming to Philadelphia after watching him on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. I have been a fan of the Bee Gees ever since I was a little girl. It is not an exaggeration at all to say that I am a life long fan of the Bee Gees, and for that matter, music itself. I have been to many concerts and have seen many fantastic performers, such as Barry Manilow, the Celtic Tenors, Billy Joel, Air Supply, Elton John, Styx, Cher, REO Speedwagon - and the list goes on and on. But after last night's concert, I can easily say that Barry Gibb put on the best concert that I have had the pleasure of attend ...

Just thinking about how cool it'd be if Billy Joel, Paul Simon, James Taylor, Bob Seger, and Bruce Springsteen all did a concert together

I rarely watch late night talk shows and awards. As February 6th approaches Jay Leno moves on there is one guest which is memorable. Leonard Cohen singing The Future in 1993, title of his album. To me and many others Cohen is an icon as a singer, song writer, poet, and much, much more. Singers, song writers, and producers today I doubt all but a few young ones will be remembered in the next 40 plus years unlike Cohen, Dylan, Carole King, Seeger, Beatles, Peter, Paul, and Mary, Billy Joel, Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Cyndi Lauper, and there are a few others. Young ones today will fade. None today can match Cohen's Hallelujah and Democracy. Masterpieces. Dancing or weddings (did not watch the Grammys) to grab attention rather than the music is so sad. Mr. Leno wish you the best and would like to see again Leonard Cohen among your last guests. It would one of very few late night talk shows to be seen by me in the near and far future.
Now I do not want to sound like some old fart but why does the SuperBowl (Pepsi) feel the need to get some hipsters to do the half time show? Especially in NJ/NY?? why not some local talent.. hometown heroes if you will.. Bruce Springsteen ( I believe he is a NJ boy).. Billy Joel - he is just across the river.. Jon Bon Jovi.. yet another fine choice.. want to go off the board - Lou Gramm and Foreigner from Rochester.. Bruno - umm he is Hawaii.. come on! I'll be watching the puppy bowl at half time!
95.1 is truly the best from Bruce Springsteen to Billy Joel to The Bangles and Pat Benetar (y) :D
For you Donna Palumbo While countless rockers started their careers in the New York suburb of Long Island before going on to worldwide success (Billy Joel, Twisted Sister, Steve Vai, Brian Setzer, Blue Öyster Cult, etc.), there have been countless acts that appeared poised for a breakthrough, but for whatever reason, fell short. Many longtime followers of Long Island-based rock would probably agree that tops on the "woulda/coulda/shoulda" list were the Good Rats, a group who played at some of the East Coast's best-known/biggest venues (Madison Square Garden, Nassau Coliseum, the Philadelphia Spectrum) during the '70s, while opening for such big names as Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne, the Grateful Dead, Bruce Springsteen, Kiss, Journey, Heart, Styx, Meat Loaf, and Rush, among others. Specializing in a tough form of bar band/hard rock (comparable to Led Zeppelin early on, before getting more commercial), quite a few bandmembers waltzed through the Good Rats' ranks after their formation during the late '60s, but ...
I'm bored, so here is a list. I have been very fortunate to see some great concerts. Here are the best, but not in any real order. Would love to hear about some of yours. Comment here or post your own. John Mellencamp: First saw him in 92 or 93. First concert I ever spent over $30 for. Would have given another $30 on my way out. The Who: Saw them in Omaha. The Pretenders opened. History. Little Feat: Jazzfest, great company, bucket list band. Outlaws: I have seen them many times in many incarnations. My favorite might be KC in 2005 because all the surviving members were back together and I never thought I would see that again! Billy Joel: Hard core piano rock and roll. Bruce Springsteen: Late to this party. Not a huge fan til I saw him in 2002. Each show is like attending a Chautauqua. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers: The definition of straight ahead American music. Crosby, Stills & Nash: Three amazing talents. If Steven's voice is on that night, no one is better. Even if it isn't, they are great! Dan Fog ...

I love Bruce Springsteen. And Billy Joel. When I think of one I think of the other.
So tonight to celebrate National Poetry Day I played Elbow, Arctic Monkeys, Kate Bush, Bjork mixed with some Billy Joel, Alexander Rybak, Teenage Fanclub and Vanessa Carlton. Songs interspersed with poems by WB Yeates, Mike Garry, John Cooper Clarke and one about Bruce Springsteen by Pam Ayres. And none of your suggestions made the cut cos I forgot my iTunes password for the millionth time. VIVA CHR!
Presidential campaign promise All Super Bowl Halftime Shows will be performed by someone that actually makes you think about football or the city the game is being played. What makes more sense, Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears, or LL Cool J singing "Momma Said Knock You Out" in the middle of a football game? This season's game is being played (as the NFL puts it) in New York/New Jersey and we get Bruno Mars. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind his music, but it doesn't make me think football. It makes me think overplayed, overproduced, and autotuned. NY/NJ should have had Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, or a hologram of Frank Sinatra instead of someone from Hawaii. Game in Detroit, Kid Rock and Bob Seger. Game in New Orleans, jazz music. Game in Seattle, Foo Fighters and Pearl Jam. Game in Arizona, Dierks Bentley. Indianapolis, John Mellencamp, *** Mars, and David Lee Roth. Or go back to having college marching bands like they did in the beginning. No more 'N Sync, Madonna, LMFAO, Janet Jack ...
So we are having our first Super Bowl in NJ. In the NY Metropolitan Area. Open air. Just think of all of the local acts like Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Bon Jovi. Wow any of those would be great. Did someone say Bruno Mars? ***

Friends! I need some recommendations. I am looking for new music to listen to. I've gotten bored with the albums on constant rotation in my car and am looking to branch out, but I have a really hard time finding new music I like. I know you all know of my TMBG obsession, but to give you an idea of my other tastes, these are some other artists I enjoy enough to own the majority of their work: OK Go, Fountains of Wayne, Queen, Paul Simon, The Guggenheim Grotto, Plushgun, Brad Paisley, Johnathan Coulton, John Denver, David Mallett, MGMT. I also own and enjoy greatest hits type collections from bands like The Who, ABBA, Billy Joel, Jimmy Buffett, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor, Carly Simon, The Beach Boys and though I am almost ashamed to admit it, Bryan Adams (so sue me, its a guilty pleasure). As you can see, I have somewhat eclectic taste. With very few exceptions, I don't tend to care for female vocalists. I enjoy bands that feature piano/keyboards. I like music with strong or interesting rhyt ...

I think we need a new National Anthem. I believe if these songwriters collaborated they would come up with the perfect one: Billy Joel, Dolly Parton, Merle Haggard, Gloria Estefan, and Bruce Springsteen. Can't wait to here your nominees - make sure they are songwriters, not just performers.

Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen all day today
Man, mission and music melded last night in Monterey as Casey Frazier and band set the building on fire. Part imp, part huckster, part circus tent preacher, Frazier celebrated--no, torched--a decade of career frustration and tip gigs in bars with a coming out party that evoked a young Bruce Springsteen, wowing the crowds in Asbury Park.   Other comparisons, while odious, spring to mind. Frazier plays a slashing, piercing guitar handed him by the spirits of Robbie Robertson and Keith Richards, and I haven't heard a horn section used so well since early 70s Van Morrison. Casey Frazier knows, honors, and expands upon his influences.   Opening with a smashing cover of Billy Joel's "Only the Good Die Young," Frazier transported his birthday celebrants through two hours of time and space travel, across America and deep into his personal past.   Blemished only by the occasional hard sell, and suck-ups to the local media, Frazier made it clear he's reaching for something very large, and he's likely to catch it ...
So I celebrated my birthday a couple of weeks ago. I've been thinking how happy I am that I was born when I was so I could really enjoy and remember the 1050's and 60's. I started to wonder who was born in the same years as I was so I checked it out. All of the people were born in the same year that I was born: Meryl Streep, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Bruce Jenner, Richard Gere, Sigourney Weaver, Whoopi Goldberg, Jeff Bridges, Don Johnson, Gloria Gaynor, Lionel Richie and Gates Mcfadden. Pretty cool , huh?
Mr. Snadowsky was a lawyer and music promoter who with his partner opened a 400-seat nightclub in Greenwich Village that showcased Bruce Springsteen, Miles Davis and Billy Joel, among others.
I might get shot for saying this but I'm watching this concert and Bruce Springsteen is doing a duet with Billy Joel. New York State Of Mind. Billy has a great voice but Bruce is doing it while yelling and with that stupid raspy voice and wrecking it. What genius decided to have THEM do a duet? And when Bruce Springsteen holds out a note in Born In The U.S.A. he sounds like Charlie Brown when Lucy pulls the football away. gr
Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen... Doesn't get much better than that!
Have 12-12-12: concert for Sandy Relief in the stereo. An AWESOME album!! Some of the best in the business performed at the concert. The Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Paul Mccartney, The Who, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, Chris Martin, Alicia Keys, and Roger Waters( of Pink Floyd).
The Eagles story on TV caused me to take a deep dive into the music collection. Here are some things I found that are worth revisiting: Born in the USA - Bruce Springsteen - Look up the "Rolling Stone" review from 1984. 'Nuff said. Kris Kristofferson - The Austin Sessions - a version of "Bobby McGee that's better than Janis Joplin as well as a version of "Sunday Morning Coming Down" that will bring tears to your eyes. Joan Baez - Diamonds - some a cappella versions that really show you Joan's beautiful voice. "Swing low sweet chariot" would be the place to start and "Amazing Grace" would be a good followup. I guess that will prove that it's hard to categorize my music tastes. I could probably find some classical to add to the list. Altogether the music has to touch my soul in a way that is hard to explain. PS. Not to mention the Bob Seger and Billy Joel and . that I listen to more often.

80's music was the best ... David Bowie, The Clash, Def Leppard, GNR, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Poison, Quite Riot, Motley Crew, Skid Row, Queen, Beatsie Boys, Billy Idol, INXS, ZZ Top, Scorpions, Run DMC, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, even all the cheese like Bryan Adams, Duran Duran, UB40, Sting, etc. ...then came the 90's & Kurt had to spoil it all ...NIRVANA fans please don't hate me for liking to have a good time! :P
better than those three, and, to name a few, the Beatles, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie, Dr. Dre, and Elton John?
Elton John and Zac Brown?? Awesome. The best concert in the world would be Elton John, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen and we'll throw in Bob Segar...they would rock. Now I have to find a song from Mavis Staples...what a voice. And Mumford and Sons??? Who? And...and.Brittany Howard? What a song though. Anyone else watching the Grammys? I'm working.. ;0
Picture this 25+ yrs ago: A lil black girl in the hood who listened to The Police, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Boy George, Michael Bolton, Wham, Phil Collins, etc. But I could hold my own and I had six older siblings so . . . it was all good! lol
Listening to nothing but Elton John, Billy Joel, and Bruce Springsteen tonight.
I think that for next year's Super Bowl Halftime Show being played at the Jersey Meadowlands, I think it will be Billy Joel performing the halftime gig with maybe an appearance by Elton John or Bruce Springsteen. That's my guess at this point.
Billy Joel is perfect, and Bruce Springsteen is a God. simple as that
Just googled it and the possible Superbowl performances of 2014 are: Billy Joel, Lady Gaga, Bon Jovi, Jay Z, or Bruce Springsteen
Next years Super Bowl 48 better include Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi to entertain us for the National Anthem and Halftime Show sponsored by LIPA

I'll set the half time show up for next year. Here are my chioces...Def Leppard, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Aerosmith, Mötley Crew, Billy Joel. And I'm just getting started
Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen are my heros
Pearl Jam will be playing Wrigley Field this July. Billed as “An Evening With Pearl Jam." No opening act. Wrigley doesn't have many concerts. Only a handful over the past few years such as The Police, Elton John & Billy Joel, Roger Waters, Paul Mccartney and Bruce Springsteen. Cubs president Theo Epstein is a fan and he chose his favorite 25 PJ cuts. My bet is that the tunes may be on the setlist.
28 years ago today Michael Jackson & Lionel Richie composed the song ''We Are The World'' for the project known as ''USA for Africa''. 35 Year Copyright Reversion Clause A business Opportunity that EIC Music Publishing is addressing. The Termination clause for 1978 titles, a revision to copyright law, made in the 1970s, that could drastically affect the ownership of some of the cornerstones of classic rock. could bring slew of "free" songwriters. A "termination right," written into copyright law more than 30 years ago, is now putting certain songs back on the rights block, allowing artists to renegotiate royalty rates on their works or reclaim ownership entirely. The clause is extremely technical, but it essentially allows creators to reclaim rights to their works from publishers 35 years after their creation, as opposed to the current standard of the life of the author plus 70 years. The earliest works affected, therefore, are those released in 1978. Artists like Bruce Springsteen, Styx, Billy Joel, and The Eagles will most likely file paperwork to reclaim rights, and that means they will be back on the market for Publishing deals. We w ...
On this date in 1985 - "We are the World" is recorded by pop stars in Los Angeles. Written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie, and produced by Quincy Jones and Michael Omartian for the album We Are the World, the single sold in excess of 20 million copies and is one of fewer than 30 all-time singles to have sold 10 million (or more) copies worldwide. Artists included: Ray Charles, Billy Joel, Diana Ross, Cyndi Lauper, Bruce Springsteen, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon and many more.
John Fullbright, from outside Okemah, OK, Woody's hometown, has me wondering if his father might have been Woody, and his other father Bruce Springsteen, and his other father Billy Joel, and his mother was Odetta, and his other mother was Joni Mitchell, and his other mother was Gillian Welch. Whoever they were, they were a mighty combination. Hope you'll YouTube him, then multiply 10x for seeing live with a full band. Hats off to David Card and Poor David's Pub for bringing original treasures to Big D.

Apparently my suitemate doesn't appreciate Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen. Guess who's waking up to some classics.

12-12-12 LP The digital "12-12-12 — The Concert for Sandy Relief" album is out today. Noticeably absent are Macca's surprise performance with the surviving members of Nirvana and anything from Kanye West's set. Bruce Springsteen, the Who, Billy Joel, and Beatlevana: On the scene at 12-12-12 - Wednesday night’s 12-12-12...
The Concert For Sandy Relief was one of the most uplifting, feel-good performances in recent memory. Not only because it was indicative of our perserverance, our sheer ability to express emotion through music, and our belief in fighting for the cause. In this case, the cause was for the Robin Hood Relief Fund. It was for the people who lost their homes and their beloved stomping grounds from a lethal hurricane that ravaged the New York and New Jersey area. Through the fire of the tragedy, many of music's great ones pumped life into the crowd with sterling, emotional performances. Guys like Bruce Springsteen, local products Jon Bon Jovi and Billy Joel proved they "still got it," setting the stage ablaze with memorable performances. Which performance sent goosebumps through your body? Which performance helped enhance your spirit and allowed you to feel the resiliency in the aftermath of this hurricane??
Superstars like Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Paul Mccartney, The Who and the Rolling Stones rocked Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night during a concert to raise money for victims of Superstorm Sandy.
"12-12-12" Here's a few words regarding last night's concert benefitting victims of Hurricane Sandy, which took place at Madison Square Garden, NYC. ... Alicia Keys was the lone female headliner? To be sure, this event was hastily organized, considering its size, and Keys was dynamite. Yet Madonna and Lady Gaga were all too busy? Maybe Beyonce was readying her Super Bowl half-time extravaganza? Your correspondent could even take a set by Ke$ha better than that time-waster Chris Martin from Coldplay and Michael Stipe from R.E.M. did. While I'm on the subject, here are five words for both Martin and Stipe: Your effort needs to improve. ... Mine seems to be the dissenting opinion regarding Kanye West last night. Social media both during and after was commenting on how a black hip-hop artist was a poor choice for a white classic rock fest. Concert attendees needed to sing loudly the almost-folk songs written by their regional heroes, like Keys, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel and Jon Bon Jovi. They need ...
no it's Bruce Springsteen ... Billy Joel sang born in the USA and Philadelphia.
Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Bruce Springsteen and others rock the stage at 12-12 ... - Fox News
Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel were amazing last night. They have real talent!

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the damage wrought by Hurricane Sandy. Some of the world's biggest stars gathered together tonight benefit NY City and it's surrounding area. A list that included Adam Sandler, Bruce Springsteen, Paul Mccartney performing WITH Nirvana in Kurt Cobain's place, Kanye West, Alicia Keys, the Who, Roger Waters, Eddie Vedder, Bon Jovi, Billy Joel and Eric Clapton and more. A tribute that will run at least 4.5 hours! I do have to wonder though, where were all these magnanimous performers a few years back concert was pulled together when an even greater, much more devastating, hurricane destroyed most of New Orleans and a good portion of 3 states. This concert was only worthy of a single hour of air time! For that we managed to pull together a single hour of fund raising tribute and the following stars came out to help: Glenn Close, Harry Connick Jr., Claire Danes, Ellen Degeneres, Leonardo DiCaprio, Richard Gere, John Goodman, Marcia *** Harden, Faith Hi ...
The 12-12-12 Benefit Concert for Hurricane Sandy Relief began airing tonight at 7:30pm on 37 channels. Major music entertainers, such as Alicia Keys, Bruce Springsteen, Kanye West, Billy Joel and many others perform at Madison Square Gardens to help hurricane victims and clean up. The concert is expected to be the largest concert in history that will air for four hours, cross six continents, stream over the web with YouTube and Hulu and some movie theaters are even showing it for free! “For me, as a New Yorker,” Alicia Keys says, “to see us all come together to want to help each other, really showed me what a great country we are.”
Ticketmaster "Fair"? In the days after Hurricane Sandy, and while NYC and Jersey Shore residents began to survey the damage the superstorm and cause, it became increasingly obvious a concert was in the near future. On November 8th it was announced that the same people who organized the “The Concert For New York City” after 9/11 would organize “12-12-12 A Concert For Sandy Relief. While no artists were announced at the time, everyone in the Tri-State Area knew at least two of the artists would be Bruce Springsteen and The E-Street Band and Bon Jovi, and I’m sure a few others predicted Billy Joel and Paul Mccartney as well. Most of the local population had the date marked on their calendar and planning to attend the show without even knowing the line-up. Two hurdles only remained, the first was seeing what tickets were going to cost, and the second was actually getting tickets to the event. The event line-up would come to include star studded acts like Bruce and E-Street, Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Paul ...
Stu @ Top Ten at Ten. What are the two years? John Travolta, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Blondie and Coolio just some of the tunes you will hear. Red Rum retired from horse racing. May Day Bank holidays were introduced. Dolly the sheep became the first mammal ever to be cloned. Mother Teresa passed away. What are the years?
Paul Mccartney, Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, The Who, Billy Joel, and Roger Waters all performing at one concert.I would die of happiness if I could go!
EXCELLENT, when I can program this into the dvr recordings will do so, my daughter and I donated right after Superstorm Sandy, hopefully we can do a little more. Saw the small concert they did on NBC with John Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, etc and it showed alot more of where all the devestation was, it will take alot of monies to be able to try and piece back families lives let alone everything else and in my opinion, THIS IS A GREAT WAY TO START
as LegendTina with other legends Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Sting and Billy Joel.

Don't forget that this election you are voting for Romney and Obama. You aren't voting for Obama and Bruce Springsteen/ jay-Z/ billy Joel/ Stevie Wonder... This is a presidential election for issues that effect the whole country, not a popularity contest.
I just had to share what I heard today on one of my favorite shows "The Five" . Dana Perino said that Obama having the aging rockers John Mellancamp, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel and Stevie Wonder along on his campaign events was funny, it was like watching a male enhancement ad LOL!!
Just getting around to watching Friday night's Benefit Concert on NBC. Pretty funny seeing Jimmy Fallon and Steve Tyler sing tenor and Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen sing the bass line on "On the Boardwalk"
Just to spoil the surprise, but when I am on the POTUS election trail in the future, I will have Slayer and Metallica playing my campaign music, not this crap from Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, and Jay Z. Ted Nugent will serenade the crowds as well.
Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Steven Tyler, and Jimmy Fallon perform "Under The Boardwalk" on Friday night's telethon:
I will never again buy a Bruce Springsteen, John Cougar Mellencamp, Billy Joel, Jay-Z or Beyonce (as if) cd ever again and may burn the ones that I do have. Yup, thats the way I roll because I have that freedom to do so, thank you US Military! All these celeb *** need to go the way of the Dixie Chicks when they lend themselves to politicians who use them to influence the vote, whether Dems or GOP. These people need to stay out of politics because they just might be going against the very people who support them in their music, TV and/or movie endeavors. Just sayin'
Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, John "Cougar" Mellencamp...seems, President Obama has the Sony Walkman vote sewn up.
A big thank you to Bruce Springsteen, BonJovi, Steve Tyler, Billy Joel and all the other wonderful stars who came out to do an awesome concert for the relief efforts of Hurricane Sandy. My house is open to anyone who needs it. It's the least I can do.
This week in music: Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Christina Aguilera, Sting, Jimmy Fallon, and Mary J Blige were among the Artists who performed in New York City to help raise money for Hurricane Sandy victims earlier this week, Who guitarist Pete Townshend walked offstage without telling his bandmates during an encore performance of "You Better You Bet", Lindsey Buckingham has said "that he would love to record a new Fleetwood Mac album", According to Forbes magazine, Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Bob Marley, John Lennon, and George Harrison are the Top earning deceased musicians. so far Under The Boardwalk with Jimmy Fallon on lead over Billy Joel, Steve Tyler and Bruce Springsteen was a highlight. Sting. (or Stang as he was introduced) is doing a fine acoustic Message in a Bottle.
Bruce Springsteen , Jon Bon Jovi , Billy Joel , Christina Aguilera , Sting and other celebrities will join forces for a one-hour live telethon “ Hurricane Sandy : Coming Together,” airing Friday at 8 p.m. on NBCUniversal stations and streamed at
"Fox and Friends" questioned NBC's upcoming fundraiser for Hurricane Sandy on Friday morning, wondering aloud whether it was putting the event on merely to help President Obama. The benefit, "Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together," will air on Friday night, and features performances by Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Christina Aguilera and Billy Joel, among others. The televised Benefit Concert has become a staple of post-disaster relief efforts. But "Fox and Friends" smelled a rat, since the concert is airing so close to the presidential election. --Yep that's fair and balanced FOX. I watched and I didn't hear Obama's named mentioned. It's always a conspiracy and the media with Republicans. Maybe they should have done the right thing and broadcast it to their wealthy viewers so they could help out the people ... Republicans ... ugh!--
Christina, Bruce Springsteen, and Billy Joel were aszdswaqwasz. Aerosmith was not.
Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Sting, Aerosmith, Mary J Blige, Christina Aguilera rock~took me a while to get thru to donate, yay!

Watching the Benefit Concert for Hurricane Sandy... "Under The Boardwalk" performed by Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Steven Tyler, Jimmy Fallon, and... Some guy who looked like a very old Ted McGinley?!?!
Saw Jimmy Fallon with his back up band Steven Tyler, Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen singing Up on the Roof. Moving plea for help for the East Coast from NBC.
Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Sting, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Jimmy Fallon, you all ROCK! And to everyone on Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together, thank you for getting a telethon together for our people back east, I don't think a lot of us back here on the West Coast realize how devastating that storm was.
How nice of Matt Lauer to have the Hurricane Sandy Telethon tonight. He is worth (I looked this up) 60 million, Bruce Springsteen is worth 200 million, Bon Jovi is worth 125 million and Billy Joel is worth 160 million. Do the math and they are worth 545 million. They want my $10.00 donation? What the f***? How about these celebrities donate about 2 million each? Im sure it wont change their life styles and that is a lot of $10.00 donations.
Amazing Benefit Concert for the Hurricane Sandy residents...everyone that appeared n sang were all either from NJ or NYC...Billy Joel my favorite singer i just love him..Bruce Springsteen from Asbury Park, NJ, Sting, Steven Tyler, Mary J. Blige please everyone if u can make a donation to help these people regroup and start buidling again...thank you

Our band "Not Exactly Dylan" is playing at Big Barn in North Richland Hills this Saturday night (Oct. 13th). Would love to see anybody there who can come out to support great live music. We begin playing at 7:30 p.m.and will play for 3 hours. Great food and family atmosphere! By the spite of the name we are NOT a Bob Dylan tribute band, but rather a CLASSIC ROCK cover band. We do songs by Tom Petty, Eagles, Black Crowes, Three Dog Night, Beatles, Otis Redding, Doobie Brothers, Eddie Money, Stray Cats, Eric Clapton, Greg Kihn, Badfinger, Van Morrison, Bob Seger, Cheap Trick, Spirit, Johnny Cash, Billy Joel, Elvin Bishop, Joe Walsh, Byrds, Robert Palmer, Queen, Allman Brothers, Pure Prairie League, Neil Young, Loggins & Messina, Bo Diddley, Bruce Springsteen, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Tommy Tutone, Fastball, Georgia Sattelites, Dobie Gray, Dr. Hook, The Who, Gerry Rafferty, Steve Miller, John Cougar Mellancamp and more. Do we do ANY Bob Dylan? (Well, "not exactly") See you there!
Bruce Springsteen and Phil Collins are the coolest rockstars ever other than Billy Joel
My dad got me into the best music. The Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, Van Morrison, John Mellencamp, Billy Joel...
A night of Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty and others is just what I need.
Do you have an artist that is really popular but you just never really cared for? Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen come to mind. I know... some of you are like.. What??
You can find list after list of the greatest guitar solos in rock, but what about piano? Many rock groups feature the piano prominently. This list is not counting down the most skilled piano performances, but simply the most tasteful. No artist will be used more than once, because the list could easily be filled with 10 Billy Joel or Bruce Springsteen songs.
The only person I hate more than Billy Joel is Bruce Springsteen.
20% of people got this question wrong on the quiz portion of last night's Scavenger Hunt. Let's see how many can get it write on FB. Bruce Springsteen or Billy Joel?
Dear Jesus, If your not too busy.. Could you please take Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Billy Joel, along with all of the members of Bon Jovi, U2 and the Rolling Stones? Possibly in some spectacular fashion. Maybe in front of a stadium full of their fans. We have no use for them down here and to be honest have worn out their welcome. K thnx bye
Bruce Springsteen is great! Also some songs by The Rolling Stones, and Billy Joel. Not sure about female songs...
Busting out the "B playlist" today: Bruce Springsteen, Beatles, Billy Joel, Black Keys, and so on
So we love playing dumb games in our family, and so this morning, we all wrote down the answer to this question: "If you could have any 10 famous people over for dinner, who would you invite?" Can only be 10, and they have to be alive (otherwise, I totally would have on my list JFK Jr, Princess Diana and Steve Irwin, and maybe John Lennon). Here is my list: Don Henley, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Hanks, Elle Degeneres, John Travolta, Jennifer Aniston, Bruce Willis, Josh Groban, Adam Sandler and Howie Mandell. Sam chose: Nick Jonas, Guy Fieri, Emma Stone, Ellen Degeneres, Adam Sandler, Paul Mccartney, Chris Rock, Ian Somerhalder, Billy Joel and Zouey Deschanel. It took a lot of pulling teeth, but Mike actually gave us his, and it's quite interesting! Tom Selleck, Bruce Willis, Derek Jeter, Clint Eastwood, Burt Reynolds, Emeril, Tiger Woods, Arnold Palmer, Robert DeNiro and Jessica Chastain (lol on the last one). Maybe all 3 of us should put her! Give it some thought, and list your 10. It's fun! It's hard ...
My playlist this morning? Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel and Elton Joel. A triumvirate of music royalty.
Bruce Springsteen, Paul Mccartney, Billy Joel, Tom Petty or Sid Vicious? Who's at the top of your list?
And they have been listening to Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen nonstop. All. Day. Long
all i want to do is listen to Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel . Hey, its 4th of July, those are some ALL AMERICAN Legends

Little Bruce Springsteen, lil Billy Joel, lil Simon and Garfunkel, god *** it feels good to be American
if You're sitting there saying those are better than Bruce Springsteen, Kenny Loggins & Billy Joel I don't think we can be friends
Sometimes it is tough being SuperBowl Champions...with all the late draft picks and all. It looks like Big Blue has filled some voids. Although it hurts (I understand @ the end of the day it is all about the $$$), let the 49ERS have our old talents. Remember a few years back some guy named Victor Cruz from a lil' place called UMASS? If I remember correctly doesn't he have a SuperBowl ring? I see some good things in the future at Metlife Stadium. Big Blue being champs again, followed by WRESTLEMANIA, and then them being in the SuperBowl yet again as they host it in their own home in 2014. The question is what New Yorker or New Jersian will host the Halftime Show? Billy Joel, Lady Gaga, Bon Jovi, Beyonce/ Jay Z, Bruce Springsteen...any other guesses? Let me just throw this out there...Who has performed the best Halftime Show to date? Remember that there are some heavy hitters out there. The late Whitney Houston, Sir Paul Mccartney, Black Eyed Peas, Kathie Lee Gifford, Tom Petty, Madonna, etc. Nickelback did ...
listening to some Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen
