I keep hoping JDM will make an appearance since he's good friends with Billy Burke. But with it being an Eric Kripke show
Seriously folks, I can't describe how much better Revolution is this season. It's occasionally out-and-out hysterical (creator Eric Kripke brought Ben Edlund over from Supernatural), chock full of delightful guest stars (Bobby Singer! Smarmy Steven Culp!) and clever cultural references (David Schwimmer the last Friend still alive! Miles is going by Stu Redman from The Stand!), focusing more on its two best characters/actors (Billy Burke is awesome, and Elizabeth Mitchell breaks my heart with a look), and better exploring the realities of its post-apocalyptic world. I highly recommend.
Revolution's Billy Burke, Giancarlo Esposito, David Lyons, Elizabeth Mitchell, Tracy Spiridakos, JJ Abrams & Eric Kripke on stage. This is a show I'd love to hate, but can't...
Created by Eric Kripke. With Billy Burke, Tracy Spiridakos, Giancarlo Esposito, Zak Orth. A group of revolutionaries must battle a governing dictatorial militia 15 years after an instantaneous global shutdown of all electronic devices known as the Blackout.
Eric Kripke and the cast deconstruct the character of Revolution's reluctant - and guilty - hero, Miles Matheson.
In NBC’s freshman series REVOLUTION, Monday nights at 10 PM, all electricity is gone from the world. Created by Eric Kripke, who executive-produces with J.J. Abrams, with a pilot directed by fellow executive producer Jon Favreau, REVOLUTION takes place ...
Did anyone else watch Revolution last night? Had to, our home boy Billy Burke from Everett, Wa is the star and we love him!! Question: Does it bother anyone else that JJ Abrahams has NO original ideas? This series could be amazing but it's already started off with "secret communications" which brought about the total failure of Lost! As soon as "the others" came the show sucked! So now we are faced with the fact this show will probably go the same way just a *** of a lot sooner. The only saving grace could be Eric Kripke, creator of Supernatural is the writer of the show. Which is one of the best shows ever in modern tele. Maybe he can put a gag on Abrahams and not let down an entire genre of people yet again! Any thoughts?
Created by Eric Kripke. With Daniella Alonso, Billy Burke, Tracy Spiridakos, Giancarlo Esposito. Our entire way of life depends on electricity. So what would happen if it just stopped working? Well...
watching Revolution. Eric Kripke; well done sir well done. oh and Billy Burke, AWESOME! enjoying your beautiful face on this show :)
For some reason, the networks are offering a lot of this fall's pilots On Demand about two weeks before their premiere dates. I watched Ryan Murphy's "The New Normal" this afternoon and "Go On" with Matthew Perry (which was decent from what I saw but I reserve opinion until I watch it without nodding off, due to lack of sleep, not the show's fault). Earlier tonight, I watched the pilot for Eric Kripke's new show Revolution. It had problems but overall it upheld the level of quality Kripke established with Supernatural. I don't think the subject matter is compelling and the acting, aside from Giancarlo Esposito (always an asset to any project he's associated with), is blase but, for some reason, I want to see more. I really like Billy Burke and it's nice to see him kick some *** rather than play father figure to the whiniest bimbette vampire lover in the history of film. (It bugs me that he's know for that pos rather than something like Dill Scallion.)
Billy Burke had to move on to JJ Abrams & Eric Kripke's So he wasn't sticking around. Loved him as Dean though.
Directed by Jon Favreau. With Billy Burke, Giancarlo Esposito, Andrea Roth, Tracy Spiridakos. A group of people struggle to survive and reunite with loved ones in a world where the all forms of energy have mysteriously disappeared.
Billy Burke has been cast in the upcoming thriller TV show Revolution from J.J. Abrams and Eric Kripke. Burke is no stranger to television (Rizzoli &...
Billy Burke (aka the dad from “Twilight”) as an uber badass? I don’t know why I’m so surprised, though, Burke was pretty good as the very physical bad guy in “Drive Angry”, but it’s just that he’s just so recognizable as the dad from “Twilight” now that it’s hard to imagine him in any other role. Bu...
Yay, NBC! Now, will they give it time to connect with the viewers who love Supernatural, Alias, Jeremiah & Jericho? "NBC picked up Revolution, an adventure drama from J.J. Abrams and Supernatural's Eric Kripke. In the epic adventure thriller, a family struggles to reunite in a post-apocalyptic American landscape: a world of empty cities, local militias and heroic freedom fighters, where every single piece of technology -- computers, planes, cars, phones, even lights -- has mysteriously blacked out ... forever. Twilight's Billy Burke stars, with David Lyons, Giancarlo Esposito, Tracy Spiradakos, Graham Rogers, Anna Lise Phillips, Tim Guinee, Andrea Roth, JD Pardo and Zak Orth rounding out the cast. Supernatural's Eric Kripke will write and exec produce alongside Abrams and Bryan Burk. Jon Favreau will direct the Warner Bros. Television, Bad Robot production, which filmed in Atlanta."
